Use of interleaving in MOB

Hi,
Do you know if to use interleaving is necessary to split the OT and creating new OT for every material.
2) What can I do if depending on the work load of the storage sometimes I want to do interleaving and in other occasions I want to select delivery by shipment (screen 0106).
So I want to be able to use the following at the same time:
LM57   RLMOB005       System Guided Putaway - Interleavin
LM63   RLEMOBGRGISHP  Goods Issue by Shipment
But I suppose that in the first one I need a OT with only one material and in the second one in One shipment there are several deliveries and every delivery has got several
SAP release 46C
Thanks,
                Enrique

Hi,
I have got four different types of queues:
1) Putaway
2) Picking
3) Transfers
4) Internal Operations
What do you mean that the interleaving is the fifth queue or from your point of view is the  putaway queue?
Another question:
If the picking OT has got several items and I use interleaving the OT is left in a open status every time?
My problem is that some times I want to use interleaving but normally not.
And my OT has got several items.
Thanks,
              Enrique

  • Is Mobi server needed for using SBO Explorer on iPhone/iPad

    Hello,all.
    We started BOE XI R3.1, SBO explorer 3.2, SBO Mobile 3.1 all of it at win2003 server.
    SBO Explorer Works via browser at PC, but does't work at iPhone/iPad SBO Exporer app.
    SBO Mobile seems to be stated.
    Which server should set to get it?
    None of next settngs work:
      MobileServer checkbox is on: http://<mobiserver>.<company>.com:8080 -> Unable to access Mobi Server
      MobileServer checkbox is on: http://<mobiserver>.<company>.com -> Unable to access Mobi Server
      MobileServer checkbox is off: http://<SBOExplorer server>.<company>.com:8080 -> "No server configuration detected... Check url validity" when verifying link in settings
      MobileServer checkbox is off: http://<SBOExplorer server>.<company>.com -> unsupported URL
    Which link should I use? Do need Mobi Server to access SBOE from iPhone/iPad?

    Ok. Problem is solved.
    MOBI server is not needed for Exporer for iOS.
    Right link in iOS is
    http://<SBOExplorer server>.<company>.com:8080/polestar (case sensetive)
    SYSTEM - fully qualified CMS name and port (server.company.com:6400)

  • Interleaved Barcodes

    Hi,
    We want to do Label printing through Smartforms. Our labels are getting printed but often the barcodes are not getting read as they are exceeding the Label Page Width.
    We want to use the Interleaved Barcodes in ECC 5.0. Can anybody inform which Interleaved barcode Format should we use in SAP that has the support of Code 128.
    Also inform what extra things we need to take care in interleaved Barcode than the Normal Barcodes.
    Thanks,
    Arunava

    Use SE73 to reduce the size of your system barcode.  This will keep it on the page.
    Do you need an interleaved 2 of 5 barcode or a Code128?  Both are provided in the standard system.

  • RTSP Interleave

    I'm trying to get an Axis 213 camera to work over the Internet with JMF and IBM's MPEG4 JMF codec (using RTSP interleave method).
    Has anyone used JMF and RTSP with RTP/RTCP packets interleaved over TCP/IP (i.e., in the same session and over the same ports as RTSP)? Any ideas of what to do to implement?
    Thanks ahead of time.

  • Does 'Export Relative to Page Size' NOT work in Kindle books & some other ereaders?

    Hi I've been looking at this issue that has made the wheels in my head work overtime! I've made a book with pictures for the Kindle store and all the images look too small.
    I've used Indesign 5.5 on a Win 7 PC.  My file has multiple graphic images and I am exporting it as an epub. When exporting from Indesign you have 2 main options when exporting graphics. You can display them Relative to page size, or have them a Fixed pixel size. In age of multiple size device screens Relative to page size is the logical option because it should be able to make images on a page fill roughly the same percentage of the screen size whatever device you read it on. However I am finding that it doesn't function with all programmes.
    I created an epub. Exported it with the Relative to page size option. This works great when viewed on PC with 3rd party software such as Sigil, or in iBooks for iPhone/iPad or Adobe Digital Editions ereader software.
    However the same epub the images DO NOT display relative to page size when viewed with Calibre ereader software (images display far too small).
    Also, I have converted that same epub (using Calibre) to a mobi. The images in the .mobi DO NOT display relative to page size when viewed with Kindle for PC, Kindle for iPad, Kindle Fire, Kindle Keyboard or Calibre.
    Now. I recognise that my test is in no way universal but something is happening that is making the same file display relative to page size with some software/devices and not relative with other software devices. I've been wondering Is this a bug in the Indesign software or is it not possible on Kindle. Has anybody experienced this. And my main objective is to find out if there is a way, using Indesign or changing the css code, to make images display relative to page size on the Kindle?!
    Any help, thoughts, ideas, knowledge would be appreciated!

    InDesign doesn't have an export to Kindle function. It is not designed to export in the Kindle MOBI format.
    There are many things which are lost when converting from EPUB to MOBI files. I'd recommend doing some reading on Elizabeth Castro's blog where she talks about some of these limitations. Also read her book "EPUB Straight to the Point for her section on converting to Kindle.

    Another good place to ask is in the Mobile Read forums where many long-term eBook experts reside: http://www.mobileread.com/forums/

  • Mixing Memory Speeds

    Apologies, wrong thread, please ignore.
    Message was edited by: Rhys Bethell

    Hi Rhys,
    i think what you are talking about is mixing memory size, not speed. You can not mix memory speeds, especially in Macs.
    You can mix memory size in most Macs. Very few Macs use memory interleaving that requires exactly the same size memory modules to work best. The iMacs allow mixing size with no impact on performance.
    Go ahead, Crucial is very good with Macs and can be trusted.
    Also very good is Other World Computing (OWC).

  • Why is Verizon so vile, and how can you get away with it?

    Just got off the phone with someone on my 5th call to Verizon customer service on the same issue. They promised me additional data, for a price, then failed to add that data to my account. The first two calls they promised all was good and it would get applied on the next month. 3 more calls later I'm told it was never added, and that I'm out of luck. Seriously! I've now spend hours on this, and now I'm told to pound sand?
    Previously, we also returned a device to verizon, that they said they never received. When I told them I would take them to small claims, she put me on hold, came back a few minutes later, then said that they got the device back? Wait I've been calling for months on this issue and the problem above and she magically finds it in 2 minutes. Just proves how crooked your company is.
    I've posted about this on Facebook, and lots of my family and friends have had simlar experiences. I used to have t-mobie, and they were awesome. Just because yor the biggest today, doesn't mean that will be the case forever. Keep treating your cutomers like this and see where they end up.
    Shame on Verizon, as it's a terrible terrible company.

  • How I got my rear speakers to work (logitech z 5500 5.1)

    Instead of connecting the black cable into the black slot of my speaker system, I put it in the orange slot and the orange plug in the black slot. I did the same to my sound card, black slot in line 3(center/sub) instead of line 2(rear left, rear right) and orange in line 2. I was amazed that this got it to work. I was on the verge on posting some long ass post saying how i tried everything, but i decided to try something stupid and switch a few plugs that I wasnt supposed to switch. I basically got it working by accident. Im pretty happy

    When the Toslink to mini-jack digital cable arrives you would set up the 5.1 audio to the system through Audio MIDI Setup; Apps>Utilities>Audio MIDI Setup.
    From the Audio MIDI Setup Help menu;
    Configuring speakers for multichannel output
    If you have a multichannel audio output system, you can select the speaker used to play each channel.
    You must be using an audio output system that provides more than two channels of audio output.
    Before you start, be sure you have connected the audio devices to your computer, turned them on, if necessary, and installed any software required by the manufacturer.
    1. Open Audio MIDI Setup and click Audio Devices.
    2. Choose the audio output device from the Properties For pop-up menu and click Configure Speakers.
    3. If you are using an interleaved device with more than one audio stream, you can choose the audio streams you want to use with your speaker configuration.
    4. If the stream you select provides enough channels for the speakers you are configuring, you cannot select additional streams.
    5. Choose the type of output you want to set up from the pop-up menu.
    6. For each speaker in the configuration, choose a channel from the pop-up menu below the speaker.
    7. To test the configuration and speaker, click the speaker.
    8. When you're ready, click OK.
    If the speaker doesn't make any sound, make sure it is connected to your audio device correctly and the audio output is not muted.

  • InDesign Help | Export content for EPUB | CS6

    This question was posted in response to the following article: http://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/export-content-epub-cs6.html

    The Kindle whitepaper is out of date. In particular, it seems that Amazon does not accept Calibre-created.mobi files -  .mobi files created by converting from .epub to .mobi in Calibre - and insists on using Kindlegen to create .mobi files. In my experience, however, Calibre does a better job of converting from .epub to .mobi than Kindlegen, and I do not know why .mobi files created by Calibre are unacceptable.

  • Workaround for nested ordered lists in EPUB?

    I am slowly converting a book I laid out in InDesign into an EPUB that echoes the logic (not rigidly the visual presentation) of the print version.
    Most of it has gone smoothly, because I test and fix at different stages, and have tagged the hell out of everything from the beginning. I view the test files on an original iPad, a Nook Color, and an iPhone. I have the Kindle Previewer.app and Kindle.app that I use when converting to .MOBI.
    However, there are two problems I’m having when viewing the book on a Nook Color that I do not know how to fix.
    The first problem is vertical line spacing when there are character styles (span classes) applied to specific words in a line of text. This book has many book title references and some foreign words that are italicized, for example, and wherever they occur, there is additional line space above and below that line of text. This also occurs where characters have been tagged as bold (either using <strong>, <b>, or <span class=bold>—I have tried all three ways of tagging these instances of text. You can see what a page looks like on the Nook Color at http://www.girsbergerdesign.com/Nooktest/nooktest.html.
    The other problem I’m having is with nested ordered lists. There are some outline-style lists, with levels 1. and a. While I can edit these in Sigil to maintain the type=1 and type=a of these lists, on the Nook Color, they are still showing up as 1., with the a. level indented properly but numbered 1. You can see a sample below (top) and a sample of the same page on the iPad in iBooks (bottom):
    Within iBooks on the iPad and the iPhone, the correct outlining system is maintained, after I change the value of the type of the lists to "1" and "a". So I know that works. I just don't see why it wouldn't work on the Nook Color.
    In the Kindle previewer.app, the bolds and italics and other span class formatting behaves properly (i.e, does not cause unsightly linespacing), but it too ignores the a level of the outline-style format, although it honors the indent.
    Does anyone have any advice about this? I'd like to be able to map the list styles to HTML for structure, but this is driving me crazy!
    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for your response, seddybell. This got me thinking, and I believe I have found a solution to the linespacing situation (still working on the outline situation).
    I think the line-height attribute is the issue. Because so many textbooks in print start out with something like 10/12 spacing (the book I’m converting is 11/14 Kepler Std), the line-height in the CSS file (or the leading of the paragraph style in InDesign, before exporting) has to be increased to roughly 164% of the font-size (in this case, from 1.27 to 2 em in the CSS file) to ensure that the <em> and <strong> characters don't throw off the linespacing for viewing on the Nook. This way, whether the user has “Publisher Defaults” turned on or off, the linespacing won’t be affected.
    I noticed that when I turned on “Publisher Defaults”, my text looked fine, but when I turned it off, THAT was when the spacing problems slapped me in the face!
    Here was what I did with my basic p.TX tag, and then made proportional adjustments to other tags:
    Original CSS style exported from InDesign:
    p.TX {
    font-family : "Georgia", serif;
    font-weight : normal;
    font-style : normal;
    font-size : 0.92em;
    text-decoration : none;
    font-variant : normal;
    line-height : 1.27;
    text-align : justify;
    color : #000000;
    text-indent : 18px;
    margin : 0px;
    Line-height value increased:
    p.TX {
    font-family : "Georgia", serif;
    font-weight : normal;
    font-style : normal;
    font-size : 0.92em;
    text-decoration : none;
    font-variant : normal;
    line-height : 2;
    text-align : justify;
    color : #000000;
    text-indent : 18px;
    margin : 0px;
    I do something similar to your p.space-above on the InDesign side. I always add styles with a space above or below attribute that ports over as a margin quite nicely, so I'm glad I've already developed this good habit! But I'll definitely be adding more space between lines now to accommodate this oddity on the Nook (assuming that's what it is).

  • How do I connect Logitech Z-5500 5.1 speakers with new iMac?

    Please help a PC to mac converter. I did a search related to this topic and I am still confused. The articles that were related were archived and so I couldn't post a reply. With that said I need help. I purchased Logitech 5.1 speaker system to hookup with intel-based iMac 24". The speakers came with 3 color-coded RCA cables. This is the same setup as on my Dell, but the Dell had the corresponding color coded inputs, the iMac does not.
    My question is how do I get 5.1 setup with iMac, and can this computer support a 5.1 system? I've read on here that people are using optical cables, but the iMac does not have an optical input either.
    I appreciate any advise and any hyperlinks to cables or other accessories I need to buy would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

  • How to have a control on number of carriers in an OFDM TX Rx

    Hi,
    I'm relatively new to Labview. So please excuse my 'naive' questions. I've made a Baseband OFDM Tx/Rx using LV 2009 and Modn toolkit. The steps I've used are interleaving, channel coding, mapping bits to symbols and then IFFT (omitted the Cyclic Prefix part as of now). The receiver is designed in a similar manner.  I used 128 bit PN sequence initailly as the source. But now I've managed to convert a JPG into a bitstream for further modulation. I think my VI is making only one OFDM symbol and I'm presently having no control over the number of carriers used.
    I'm posting the VI over here. I would like help in a few things
    1.  How do I control the number of carriers say 128,256,512 or 1024?
    2.  Even if I achieve this simullation how  do I specify (and control) the carrier frequencies, guard band etc?
    I do not have any Hardware as of now. I'm just implementing baseband OFDM Tx and Rx in the same VI. Planning to go about making a Tx and Rx separately using PXIe chassis and 5641 IFRIO cards. Any leads would be highly appreciated!

  • EPub readers for Palm OS

    Hi there, I thought you (Palm Aficionados) would have a post on this subject  but when I searched I got nothing so here goes...
    I LOVE my palm already and now I discovered eBooks.  I love that my fave book is on my phone!  How cool is that, I can never remember to bring a book to read when waiting (but not in traffic).  I have been using Mobi reader and it works great.  I have been borrowing books from my public library and they don't have any more mobi eBooks.  Gasp!  I wrote to find out how to get more and they advised they were switching to ePub that mobi is no longer offered, they suggested I could switch to audio books for my pda.
    I have spent a week looking for an option that will allow me to use my pda with ePub (Adobe Digital Edition is what the library uses) and so far, I have no solution.  ** sigh **
    Can anyone suggest a solution that will allow me to read ePub (acsm extensions) on my Treo,
    Thank you in advance

  • Optimization for conversion

    Hi,

    Hi Thijs,
    it's faster because:
    - it uses polymorphism of the "Split Number" function to work directly on array data
    - thus the compiler may use some SSE optimization (?)
    - it doesn't use a BuildArray node as your version: the appending output tunnel of your FOR loop is nothing else than a shift register with a BuildArray node as was used for the purpose in older LV versions...
    I think that the main factor here is the avoidance of a Build Array node inside a loop by using the Interleave 1D Array node instead. Anything else might or might not add a few microseconds to the mix. Could be easily tested by removing the Build Array Node in the original VI and creating three 1D arrays on the loop boundary, then use Interleave 1D Array to combine them together. Certainly the speed difference is then much smaller and probably almost nihil.
