Use of Inventary cycle

What is the use of inventory cycle?? How we can use it? i am trying to analyse the application of inventory cycle, but when i give input, it just adds cycle code.

STEP 1:  DEFINE HOW OFTEN YOU WILL CYCLE COUNT
First, you'll need to define an inventory cycle (how often you'll count).  Go under the menu path of Administration - Setup - Inventory - Inventory Cycles.  The Inventory Cycles Setup window will open:

Determine your frequency as follows:
Daily :  An alert is issued every day.
Weekly:  An alert is issued on the same day every week. If you select a weekly cycle, from the   adjacent field, select the day of the week.
Every 4 Weeks:  An alert is issued on the same day every four weeks. If you choose a monthly cycle,   from the adjacent field, select the day of the month
Monthly :  An alert is issued on the same date every month; for example, the 20th of every   month.
Quarterly:   An alert is issued on the same date every third calendar month.
Semi-annually :  An alert is issued on the same date every sixth calendar month.
Annually :  An alert is issued on the same date once each year.
One Time :  A single alert is issued on the specified date.
STEP 2:  DEFINE WHAT ITEM GROUPS YOU WILL CYCLE COUNT
Next you will link the cycle code to an Item Group, or to an individual item at the warehouse level.
Here is where you'll define a cycle group to an item group within the Item Groups Setup Window:

Alternatively you can link the cycle code to an individual item through the Item Master Data Screen:

The Cycle Count Recommendation Window u2013 can be accessed from the Alert, or can be generated manually

    I need to be able to create a calendar using the lunar cycle instead of the standard gregorian cycle. Does Indesign's calendar wizard/software allow me to do this or would I have to create it manually through something like photoshp/illustrator?

    InDesign does not come with a Calender Wizard script, so you probably downloaded this elsewhere. you'll have to ask where you got it from.
    (If this "lunar cycle" thing is not in the feature list of that script, chances are it's not hidden in there somewhere either. If I included such a feature, I'd make sure to advertise it. If it isn't available, you can probably contact the author and see if s/he is willing to add it.)

    my daughter has been calling out of state a lot recently.  i want to know previous statement minutes and it also mentioned that out of area calls may not show up on bill right away. so how many minutes has she actually used this billing cycle?

    If you are the account owner, you can go online and view the usage for each line on your account.  For calls, you can go back 12 months and see the history.
    If she made the calls from your home area, then there should be no delay in them showing up on the bill. The delay comes if the phone is out of the home area and roaming; sometimes the information from the roaming towers takes more time to reach Verizon  computers.  Your question wasn't clear if she was simply calling an out of state number, or if she was out of state and making calls.

    I want to understand the actual purpose of a cycle group. Is it used to group cycles so that we can execute all the cycles under the group at once in the KSU5 t.code? If yes then how can i execute the cycle group in KSU5 because i cannot find an option to execute the cycle group?

       Your understanding on "Cycle run Group" is not correct. You can't run any group in KSU5 as by default it is defined under "No parallel group". You can select individual cycle as multimple selection line and execute at a time.
      Now What is "Cycle run Group" : As per SAP standard "0000" is defaulted for "No parallel run" that means You can not use this cycle for other company.
      You can creat "Cycle run Group" at the time of creating cycle and  youu can use cycle run groups to allow the cycles for an allocation type to run parallel. But SAP does not recomend this at all.
    I think you are clear on this issue.

  • Will using iphone while charging use up battery cycle?

    battery capacity decreases as we repeat charging / using the phone.
    but what if we use it while it is being charged? will it just use power from
    the power source or charge+use up batter at the same time?
    i hope it can just use draw power from the external power source and leave
    the battery alone if it's full, then I can just use bluetooth and leave
    the phone in the dock to not waste battery cycles.

    There are two issues here. A cycle is the EQUIVALENT of one complete use of the battery from fully charged to depleted. But it can take place over multiple uses and charges. There is no way to avoid using cycles (or portions of them) other than leaving the phone plugged in all the time. Which brings us to issue two:
    The worst thing you can do to your battery (other than letting it get very hot) is to leave it plugged in all the time. This is not because it will overcharge. As others have pointed out, the phone is smart enough to prevent overcharging. But li-ion polymer batteries like to get some "exercise" to say fresh. Apple recommends the equivalent of at least one cycle per month. If it's plugged in constantly, it will not get enough exercise and its capacity will diminish.

  • Need to create pdf using adobe live cycle designer using function module

    Hi,
    Needed some help regarding creating a pdf at the backend. I will have function module in the backend which contains all my data and also an image represented as a Base64 encoded string.
    What i need to do is pass this data onto adobe live cycle designer fromthe function module and create a pdf at a particular location. Please let me know how can we achieve this. if there is any function module to do the same. how does the function module i have defined call the adobe live cycle designer transaction or module to create a pdf. i am not an abaper so dont have much idea about the details.

    Points that you can note:
    1) Adobe Interactive forms can be created & connected to SAP database using ABAP Workbench, through WebDynpro.
    2) Also adobe Interactive forms can be created & connected to SAP database using Transaction SFP.
    3) And for both of the above 'Adobe Live cycle Designer' should be installed on the front end.

  • Error while using Adobe live cycle ExportPDF

    I have installed Adobe live Cycle and am trying to use one for its service and trying to convert the pdf file to html.
    Please refer to the attached screen shot.
    when i click on ExportPDF and give the input as any PDF file , I am getting the error as
    Error Code:80036
    Error Message: ALC-PDG-080-036-Unable to connect to PDFG Service. No User has been defined.
    Let me know if i am missing anythign.

  • Using Preview to cycle through a folder of images/photos

    While on Tiger, I used a program called JustLooking to replace Preview, because I wanted an app that would allow me to easily click through all my photos and images just using the keyboard arrow keys. (I did not have to select all files first, just double-clicked the first one and away I went). I see 10.6's Preview is greatly improved, but it appears that I still have to select all files that I want to view first. Is that correct?

    How about using Quicklook instead.
    Click on the first item in the Folder and tip the Space bar.
    Then use the arrow keys.
    To get out of QuickLook, simply tip the Space Bar again.

  • Using command tab for application switcher no long cycles through all apps

    Using command tab for application switcher use to work as it always has before Lion, and did in Lion for a few days. Now it stops at the last app. It always use to keep cycling through through all the apps. I figure I did something, but cannot figure out what. I have tried old tricks like force quitting dock using Activity Monitor, but that didnt work. Tried restarting, repairing permissions, and a new user account. I will great appreciate anyones help with this.

    I was going to post my experience about application switcher as well, but i have the opposite problem: in SL it never worked, but now in Lion it does. Since I upgraded by installing over Lion, I'm assuming there must be a setting somewhere for this behavior. There is a place for setting keyboard keystrokes, looking there may help.

    We have another newly raised problem in the header and footer adding from Livecycle ES2. According to the PDF that you referred in the previous reply, we can add graphics to the PDF header, but we are unable to find a DDX tag that would enable us to add a image URL.

  • Converting to MP3 causes iTunes to Not Respond while using 50% CPU usage and makes my computer stutter

    Anytime I attempt to "Createa an MP3 Version" of a track, it will take a REALLY long time to work.
    Right now I am attempting to convert an audio book I have which has 88 tracks.  Once I start to convert anything more than 1 track at a time, iTunes immediatly becomes "Not Responding" and takes up about 50% of my CPU the entire time.  It seems like it's doing something in the background but it won't even update the screen anymore, creating weird effects on my screen (Ghost menu bars show up at the top of my screen, etc.).  In addition, once iTunes becomes non-responsive, my entire computer starts to "stutter" meaning that every other second everything momentarily hiccips and stop for a split-second.  This means that while iTunes is converting any multiple MP3 files, if I drag the mouse across the screen, it stops every other second.  Any videos that I try to play pause every other second briefly.  Basically, my computer becomes almost unusable.  Plus, while iTunes is working in the background, different programs randomly jump to the front of the screen.  I will try to be using my web browser while iTunes is working in the background.  Then, suddenly, iTunes pops back up to the foreground in front of my browser (put still won't be responsive to clicks).  My notes program will also flash windows in front of my web browser while surfing, again, only when iTunes is running in the background. 
    I really don't understand:
    1.  Why it takes so much time to convert any file to an MP3 file.  Even converting a single track takes a few minutes.  I'll let my Macbook Pro (with Windows) sit for HOURS upon hours trying to convert the 88 track audio book and it always freezes up and never comes back.
    2.  Why iTunes becomes non-responsive so quickly and won't allow the screen to update once it starts "thinking."  It caps out around 50% of my CPU power so it's not like it doesn't have the headroom to refresh the screen while it works.
    3.  Why does iTunes' working in the background affect every other program I am running?  I don't mind if it uses up CPU cycles in the background, but if it makes my computer unusable while doing so, it's really not worth it.
    I should state that I love Apple products (even though I use Windows on my MBP for school purposes).  However, I absolutely DREAD having to do anything with iTunes anymore because it has become such a hog on my computer.  Someone please tell me that there is something wrong with my iTunes and/or a setting I should change.  I have already re-installed iTunes from scratch before and that didn't help.

    Not a solution, but if the Podcast feed is dormant, why not unsubscribe?
    As to the file structure for media on the device it is deliberately obscured as a countermeasure to casual piracy. See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device. Content put on the iPod by a non-iPod aware product is going to treat it like any external drive. The iPod firmware won't read that media.

  • Battery with 27 cycles NOT charging - stuck on 62% with Amperage (mA): 0

    Hi All,
    I replaced a 312 cycles bulging battery last October with a third party one that has been fine until last night. My son was playing WOW (which was running from his external firewire HDD) and also watching a DVD while running on the battery ONLY. It suddenly shut down with the battery at 62% and now will not run off the battery. When the magsafe charger is connected it starts up OK, but the LED on the plug remains green, and battery info says -

    Remaining Capacity (mAh): 3719

    I have searched this part of the forum for possible solutions, and reset the SMC, with no change to the situation. I have not yet tried resetting the PRAM. This morning I was able to try a battery from another MacbookPro, and it started up and ran fine, and the charger when connected went orange and charged correctly. This would seem to confirm that all is OK with my MacbookPro's SMC and that the problem lies with the battery status not now being correctly "seen" by the MacbookPro. I read somewhere in my searches that the battery has its own microchip controller, and so am wondering if the sudden shutdown was due to the battery current capacity being exceeded by the demands of the fully worked processor running WOW, and the external firewire drive plus DVD running - and the software running the battery's controller becoming corrupted. If this was the case, can the battery controller be fixed, "re-booted" or re-installed somehow? Anyway, any advice will be gladly received at this point, even if the news is that my son's actions have now "killed" the battery and its time for another one!

In the meantime, casting my search wider through Google, looking for information on how to possibly re-condition MacbookPro batteries, I found some information in another forum that stated:

If that was the case, the battery may be fine for normal use for many cycles yet if the depleted cell can be given a kick start possibly by a battery re-condition expert such as you suggest. I will follow this course and report their findings.

  • Using acrobat 9 pro to create a fill in form

    I am really new to acrobat 9 and need help.  I am trying to create a fill in form from a word doc converted to pdf.  When I convert to pdf I lose control of my access to change tables that were created in word and also not all fields are recognized so I end up adding in fields.  No big deal except down the road if I need to make any changes I have to go back to the word doc make changes, reconvert to pdf and individually tweek each field.  There has got to be an easier way create a fill in form.  Any suggestions?

    No magic here, but keep in mind that you can replace a page of a pdf (Document > Replace Pages) and have the form fields remain. Think of the fields as on a layer above the page. When you replace a page in this way, you at least will not have to recreate the fields you added. You will still be able to move fields around and add or delete fields as necessary to match your new layout.
    If your form changes significantly and frequently, you may want to consider using Adobe Live Cycle Designer. I believe it is installed automatically with Acrobat Pro. Much steeper learning curve, though.
