Anybody got a clue when the store website will be fixed to accept smart rewards coupons for accessories?

I have the same question since last week.  Contacted VZ Smart Reward, they have no idea when it will be available and told me to go the store or call VZ because VZ Smart Reward customer service is not the same as VZ customer service.  I went to a VZ store (the real VZ store, not those authorized retailers), the CSR tried this best to help and to use the code I got from VZ smart reward, the system is accepting even he followed instructions from the email print-out I provided. He scanned it, manually input it, nothing!!   I guess I will see my codes expire before I can use them, since they all have a 30 days expiration on it.  Used my smart reward points for the coupons for nothing. Make me feel like it is just a scam to waste my points and my time.

    Probably, that promotion code will not work again. Why don't you try and see?
    Chatting with Apple, I don't see them charging you... I`m not 100% sure though... try and see if it needs your credit card. If it does, then obviously, their going to charge you!

    I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your redemption code.
    The following article should help you with this:
    iTunes Store: Invalid, inactive, or illegible codes
    If you're still unable to redeem your code after verifying the characters in the code, you'll need to contact iTunes Store Support for help. You'll need to provide a digital image of the front and back of the gift card as well as the sales receipt for the purchase of the gift card.
    Contacting iTunes Store Support
    Go to the iTunes support page and select your iTunes country.
    From the iTunes support page, choose Contact Support on the lower-left side of the page.
    Follow the instructions to get iTunes Store support assistance.

    There are a couple things that I would recommend trying.  Try closing all open applications and power cycle the device.  Next, go through the section labeled Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in the second article below.  If the issue persists, try completely signing out of the iTunes Store on the iOS device and sign back in.  Be sure to test downloading an application after each step.

    I keep entering the code given with my Blu-Ray version of Les Miserables and on pressing redeem keep getting the message "Code redemption is temporarily unavailable. Try again later". I have been trying for hours with the same result. There have been other issues in the past with this but no one seems to come up with a solution. Do Apple read these?

    Hello, just wanted to let you know that I am having the same issue. The apple articles are useless as I know how to redeem the codes, have done at least 50 in the past. Apple support is worthless, as they keep sending me the "how to" link. I did contact the publisher about the one code, they did reissue me a new code and still said, code redemption is temporarily unavailable. Try again later. Just seems pretty crappy to me that apple isn't taking responsibility for something that is clearly their problem. Just wanted to share my experience as I had already tried your suggestions to no avail.

    Yosemite doesn't work with some of my music software so I bought Lion to use instead on my Mac (I didn't time machine, so couldn't get back).  Got the code, but Mac App Store says "Code Redemption is Unavailable. Try again Later" when I try to redeem it.  Why can't I redeem it?  Specs below:

    I purchased Lion from Apple.ca.  Received two emails.  No issues with unlocking the license pdf and obtaining the redemption code.  No issues signing into the App Store.

  • Cancelled promotional code, ridiculous hassle

    On December 11th I got a $25 promotional code for a cancelled order. I felt that was a really generous offer and when an item I had been looking at went on sale, I decided to use it.On 12/21 I price matched the item through a rep by phone and asked if I could use the promotional code, they applied it and everything seemed fine. However they got my address entered incorrectly somehow and my order auto-cancelled seconds after they placed it due to address verification issues. They told me the promotional code would still be valid.
    Go forward about a week, another item is available on BB.com and I decide to use my promo code to order it. It doesn't work, I call in and after nearly an hour on the phone finally get told that I need to call 1-866-308-6166 to get it addressed. I've now called that number probably...6 times? I've had anything from no one answering at all(I've called before 7 pm in any time zone since no one has ever been able to tell me which time zone the 7 pm close time applies to), to being told it is being reissued, to speaking to a supposed manager who just hung up after explaining my issue.
    Today I finally got ahold of someone who says that they have addressed my issue. I have no way of knowing if this is the case or not but good lord this is ridiculously bad customer service. I belong to a forum that Best Buy gets a lot of press on and was told to come here and post a thread and just maybe I could get some resolution.
    Can you do something to help me? I've spent close to 3 hours on the phone and ridiculous CS like this is what makes me want to move my purchases(personal and business) to Amazon when they would have had this fixed in minutes, not weeks. I'm Elite Plus and all that fun stuff.

    I apologize for the lateness of this response and I certainly can understand your frustrations with the time you’ve put in trying to resolve the issue with your $25 digital promotion code.  I’d be happy to look into this further for you.
    I was unable to determine if this was a digital promotion code or if it was an e-gift card that you were given, so I can’t really speak as to whether or not it would have been still active after your order was cancelled.  If it was a digital coupon code, it would not have been active and it would have needed to be re-issued by us when the order was cancelled.  If it was an e-gift card, the funds should have been returned to the card when the order was cancelled, making it available for use again on another order. 
    Based on the notes that I can see from your previous communications, it appears that we are sending you out a physical gift card for $25 to replace this amount.  Generally, those gift cards take about 10-14 business days to be mailed out to you.  They do not have an expiration date and can be used both in our stores and online at BestBuy.com.

    How is everyone's experience using promotion codes while shopping on VZW?  First, let me say I am very happy with VZW support and services, even after today.  Today, I changed plans, upgraded two phones, and grabbed a new tablet.  It began with a call to VZW Customer Care and questions about plans and phones.  When I brought up my desire to use a promotion code discount, Customer Care referred me to the VZW website where the promotion code could be entered.  On the website, I entered the code advertised by VZW on Tech Bargains (www.techbargains.com/product/nokia_lumina), a reliable site with promotion codes I had used before on Amazon, Newegg, Abt, ..., and stated to be good through 7/27.  There was no change in price after entering the code on the VZW site, so I got on Live Chat where the VZW Rep was unfamiliar with the code but suggested I go through Checkout and if it was not accepted, to get back with VZW Customer Care.  Subsequently the VZW Live Chat Rep came back with an alternate code to try but by that time, I had completed checkout.  So, I called Customer Care back and, after the rep checked with others, was told that nobody was familiar with the promotion code and nothing more could be done.  Overall, my experience was very good but, I am somewhat disappointed that Tech Bargains may have included an inaccurate promotion, that VZW may have failed to inform its reps about the promotion, and that I proceeded to checkout believing either the original or alternate promotion code would be honored.  Not a big big deal but needed to blow off some steam and see what experience others have had.

    I am trying to redeem the code from a purchased iTunes card.  Message stating that code redemption is temporarily unavailable, try again later keeps repeating.  Temporary is getting old now.  No reply from customer support to date.  Really making looking elsewhere to purchase music look very inviting.  Really want to use the money on this card tho.  Is this issue being addressed or am I the only one that gets to relish this experience?

    Am sick of going back and forth with what has turned out to be worthless customer support. Have sent them so much info and pictures, no help. All they do is send me links for instructions on how to redeem the codes. I know how to redeem, I have redeemed at least 50 codes. To them I am obviously an idiot though.   • I can't seem to download anything on my iTunes when I use Check for available downloads. I have preorders that I can't download cos it just says 'iTunes store temporarily unavailable' even tho when I actually go on iTunes itself it work fine..

    I've been in contact with Apple support team regarding this issue. I have about 9 items available for download(preorders mostly) but it's not listed under download. When I click on Check for available download, a message with 'iTunes temporarily unavailable' appears but when I go to the iTunes store itself, its working just fine. I've already been charged twice for the same movie which Apple have kindly refunded me for one of them but I still haven't managed to download that movie yet. Apple says its a problem with my computer and given me all sort of ways to rectify the issue and still no hope. Everything else seems to work just fine including the actual iTunes store, wifi syncing and cable syncing etc. Can somebody help me with this if you know how to solve this problem or if you've had the same issue now or before?
    I am using the latest Software updates on my iTunes and these 9 items were purchased whilst on this new updates

    Launch iTunes on your computer.
    From the menu bar click iTunes > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
    Click Reset warnings and Reset cache
    Click OK.
    Restart your computer, launch iTunes.
    Click Store > Check for Available Downloads...

    I don't know - but I am having the same problem and have not had any useful help from Apple Support.  Everything they told be to do has been done and it hasn't fixed the problem.

    I don’t think there are many “must have” features in PSE13 especially if you are doing most of your editing non-destructively in Lightroom and only going to the external editor occasionally.
