1. Can anyone please let me know what advantage i am going to get by using in OBIP reports and how to use it.
2. How to use the style sheet in my report.
3. I tried to access the default style sheet of Oracle available in the tool. But the file having an extension of xssz. Can you please let me know how to open this file.

To give you both a little background, since I often see your
names on this forum, I'm building a brand new help project for a
brand new product. I'm trying to make smart, scalable
infrastructure decisions for the product and help project's future.
Currently, I'm the only author, but in the future there will
certainly be others.
I'm using RoboHelp 7 now, and considering the upgrade to
RoboHelp 8. I also need to make decisions about source control and
deployment, but those will be mostly made by our development and IT
departments. Our product is written in Ruby, which RoboHelp does
not provide API support for, and our development team would like to
get away from IIS to serve up the pages of our web portal, which
RoboHelp Server utilizes. So I'll probably have some more questions
for you guys in the near future :-D
Any recommendations about upgrading to RoboHelp 8? Any
suggestions for providing context sensitive help via Ruby on
Rails?

It's possible that the Troubleshooter doesn't work correctly unless IE is your default browser. You could test that possibility by having IE make itself the default and testing the Troubleshooter again.

I've checked that the xml format is OK.
As a matter of fact, if I try to resend the xml file from directory, the message is processed correctly and the payload shows all the xml file.

That option is not available in FTP mode..
This option is applicable only for the File adapter. If you enter a value in this field when configuring the sender FTP adapter, it will have no effect.

Are you sure that the message is not getting picked in half-way
Now, at this time, I can't see the XML data in the CC monitoring because the tool shows only the recent polling execute in the last 10 minutes. If the error recurs, I will check the payload of CC.
How can I solve the problem with reading incomplete file (FTP mode)?
...Meanwhile I will try with Full cache refresh.

Using a style sheet with hbj:link

I'm looking for a way to use a style sheet that I've created in my jsp with an hbj:link tag. Here's my style sheet:

Hi,
there is a possibility to change the default style, but is not really clean. The browser when rendering a tag uses the last defined style for this tag. So you can redefine it. I used it in a DynPage, it worked ok.
First run the iview with standard style (normally). Look into the sourc of the page and find your "Sign Me Up" link. Check the class of the <a> tag. For instance it is a "urLnk".
Now just modify your style definition:

I created a JSP file that contains a report built using Reports Builder. When I run this page using a browser, my report is displayed correctly, including the style imported from Report Builder. But when I try run this page as a portlet, my report is being displayed, but style sheet is not being displayed. Why this is happening?

How to use own style sheet in user interface templates to change buttons, fields look

I want to use my own style sheet to change the appearance of buttons, form fields etc. while applying my own user interface template. I know I can create an unstructured UI template to change logos, body color etc. but how do I apply css to buttons, fields generated by the portal components form wizard ?
If this is not possible, how do I create my own form and get the same functionalities of a wizard generated form ?

I have solved that problem fortunately.
What I did was to create my own unstructured user interface template. In the unstructured UI template, you can use style.
for example, in between the <head> tags, write <style> tages and create own classes for buttons, textboxes etc.
Then write a javascript to assign those classes to the buttons. Call the javascript function on OnLoad event in <BODY> tag.
That will do the job.
for example you have a style class called buttonclass for buttons.

is there a possibility to use custom stylesheets for UI presentations in BPM ???
if so how do i link the custom stylesheet to my workspace so that i get the desired output on my UI screens.
The only style sheet i see fro UI is fo_style.css

You first will need to import the CSS file into your project. You do this by right clicking on the webResources folder located under the WebRoot branch of your project tree. This will present a short menu to you, and one of the options is Import Resources. Browse to your CSS file and click Open.
Next you need to open your ALBPM Presentation and open the Properties window. Set the CSS Support property to True, and then select the imported CSS file under the CSS Filename property.

Issue in using cascading style sheet(CSS) in coldfusion

CFM files are disinteresting in HTML, CSS classes and links
and that sort
of carry-on. It's all just "noise" to CF. So your CFM
template cannot, in
and off itself, cause problems with your CSS stuff.
What you need to do is to look at the generated HTML and see
what you're
doing wrong. I imagine you've got the URLs wrong. Bear in
mind that LINK
URLs are indeed URLs, and if you're using relative ones, they
should be
relative to the URL of the request, and have no bearing on
the file
location of the CFM file they are represented in. This is a
common mistake

some of these tutorials don't really work. changing the body image to scrolling or fixed doesn't change anything on my computer, and apparantly doesn't change anything on the version that the instructor is using either, since he never shows us the "before"

Generate report from database using .xsl style sheet

I am trying to view test result histories for specific uut serial numbers.
We are logging all test data to the default access database template that was provided with Teststand.
Is there a method of generating reports from the database that match the format of those generated at runtime?
I was surprised to find that the default access database did not contain any gui or pre-made reports matching the xsl style sheets chosen in the report options dialog.
My database skills are weak, I am able to browse the raw data and I see the relationships between some of the tables, but the prospect of recreating one of the xml report formats in access seems daunting. Am I missing something? what is the best way to print a uut report from test data stored in access?

Thank you for posting on the NI Discussion Forums. Unfortunately there are no tools available in TestStand for directly converting an Access database to a formatted .xsl report. It is possible to have a step in a sequence that reads the information from the database, and create the .xsl report as if it had been generated at sequence run-time, by writing those values directly to Locals.ResultList. Admittedly, this would require some knowledge of Microsoft Access, and the ability to write a program that will extract information from the database, in order to include it as a step in the sequence.
Is there anything stopping you from creating a formatted .xsl report when the sequence is run (instead of trying to create it from previous data stored in an Access database)?

Using custom style sheets in R12

Hi,
I am trying to deploy a solution from Anil Sharma to Restrict user to enter data in CAPS ONLY. http://oracleanil.blogspot.com/2010/10/restrict-user-to-enter-data-in-caps.html
However i am not able to do so. I can't find the file custom.css. But I do find a file called $OA_HTML/cabo/styles/custom.xss. And all css files seems to be in $OA_HTML/cabo/styles/cache/
I tried altering this file like this:

I noticed that there was generated a new css file under $OA_HTML/cabo/styles/cache/ afterwards.
Then I personalized the css style of my field to be XXOraFieldUpperCase.
But still I am not forced to use Upper case in that field.
Any suggestions?

I am trying to color every other row in a result set that uses iterator tags to display the results.
Does anyone know how to do this? I am trying to do this with a style but nothing happens.

1.Create adf-face-skins-doc.xml
2.Create CSS(Test.css) ..... then I copied the contents from original file and I past it in the Test.css
3.Change skin name to be (Test) in adf-face-config.xml

When I try to attach my css style sheet Dreamweaver gives me an error saying that my .css file appears to be an .html file and will not attach. How do I fix this so I can attach my style sheet?

I have built a css style sheet in Dreamweaver. When I try to attach it to my html website, it prompts me that my "css file appears to be an .html file and cannot attach". I've tried removing the /* */ as suggested by other forums, but this has not resolved the issue. I was using css style sheets with no problem 2 days ago. Now I get that error message. How do I fix this so I can attach my style sheet?

What does the code of the CSS file look like?
An external CSS file needs to be written in CSS only (no html tags like <html>, <body>, <head>, etc ).
It also must have a .css file extension, if yours has a .html extension it won't work.

Loop Page Style Sheet to set file name.

I am exporting pages to jpgs and pngs using a script that pulls the name from an applied style sheet.

Find attached the next version. You can now insert in 'paraStyleNames' as many style names as you want. The script will check from left to right, if there is one found on the page. If this is true, the script will ignore the other styles.
Removing leading zero should work now.
Maybe one problem: If one page contains no style, this page will be exported nevertheless with it’s correct page number, but with the founded text of the previous page. If this can never happen, we are done and you should mark the answer as correct. If this is a real problem for you, please let me know, what should happen in this case and I will try to fix that too.
