Use one row as a template for new ones

I'm one of those people abusing a spreadsheet as a database, so except for the header all my rows have the same formatting and formulas.
Unfortunately the only way to add a row like this is copying one and adjusting it. This means I can't have hidden columns. An alternative would be keeping a row with default values around, but I sort and filter a lot so it'd be hard to find. Maybe in another table.
Anyway, the Number manual says "If all the body cells in a column above the new row contain the same formula or cell control, the formula or cell control is repeated in the new row."
Could anyone get this to work? For me it repeats formatting but not controls like steppers, and no formulas.

First, yes, this feature does work. I suppose that it's possible that while you think your table is built according the the requirements, it may not be. Are you sure that your headers are actually in a Numbers "Header Row"? And, are you sure that all your Body rows are identical, allowing of course for relative addressing?
I'm suspicious because you say:

There should be no adjustment necessary if the rows are identical. Adjustment for relative addressing would be automatic after a Copy/Paste.

I am trying to add the functionality where user can click on a button (Create from existing) which would populate all the products and when user clicks on one of the products I should populate the create new product screen with this selected record(all the fields), user can further modify the fields as needed and clicks on create to create this new product.
I searched this whole forum but couldnt figure out what I should be doing to acheive this. I looked at some ajax solutions provided but it needs me to define one of the field as list which will let me select from the list , but this is not sutable in my situation since all the fields should be editable once populated.
please point me to right docs which helps solving this.

Actually my requirement was to create new product and option to delete the old product using a check box.

Software Update Server - Deleting old updates to make space for new ones

On Page 77 of the SystemImage_and_SW_Updatev10.4.pdf Apple recommends "deleting old updates to make space for new ones". I've looked and searched and yet to find a way to do this. The Server Admin interface and the command line options I've looked into don't appear to provide this option.
So I actually tried stopping the server, moving the updates from /usr/share/swupd/html to another location, starting the server, the server wouldn't start, moving the files back again, the server still won't start.
1. Does anyone know how you're supposed to "Delete old updates to make space for new ones"
2. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get Software Update service running again?

No way to tell... You should not use them for a few days and leave them a warm well-ventilated location. After that, if they seem to be working fine, you are probably OK.

Yeah, first my thought was also that... that's why I've gone to Apple and they already switched the phone twice!!!
Last time was yesterday... I posted this here because I came from Apple and with a new iPhone 5, although I didn't restore anything from iCloud, I hadn't even logged in to iCloud / AppStore, and without any event on the lockscreen my iPhone 5 was already "locked" on the unlock screen... after a mere 45m after I used it without a single App!! Have you checked to make sure the batteries are inserted the correct way? Have you tried to turn it on by pushing the right upper (round) edge of the keyboard - if you do that, do you see a tiny little green light? Since you have a wired keyboard, can you get to the Bluetooth setup/preference pane so you can manually try to sync the keyboard?

Is this with your iTunes account password ? If so, and if you haven't already done so, then try logging out of your account by tapping on it in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if that fixes it.

Time Machine makes room for backups as necessary in a complex and sophisticated fashion, and it's not something to mess with lightly. However there are instructions at the bottom of this link which tell you how you can. As far as I know, AppleCare Plus only covers up to two incidents of accidental damage from handling; it doesn't cover a lost phone.

How can we fetch more than one row from a table after selecting one value from the dropdown.
The scenario is that I have some entries in the dropdown like below
A               B               C
11256          VID          911256
11256          VID          811256
11256          SONY      11256
The 'B' values are there in the dropdown. I have removed the duplicate entries from the dropdown so now the dropdownlist has only two values.for eg- 'VID' and'SONY'. So now, after selecting 'VID' from the dropdown I should get all the 'C' values. After this the "C' values are to be passed to other methods to fetch some data from other tables.
Request your help on this.

I hope I understand your request proberly, since this is more about Java and less about WebDynpro, but if I'm wrong, just follow up on this.
Supposed you have some collection of your original table data stored in variable "origin". Populate a Hashtable using the values from column "B" (let's assume it's Strings) as keys and an ArrayList of whatever "C" is (let's assume String instances, too) as value (there's a lot of ways to iterate over whatever your datasource is, and since we do not know what your datasource is, maybe you'll have to follow another approach to get b and c vaues,but the principle should remain the same):
// Declare a private variable for your Data at the appropriate place in your code
private Hashtable temp = new Hashtable<String, ArrayList<String>>();
// Then, in the method you use to retrieve backend data and populate the dropdown,
// populate the Hashtable, too
Iterator<TableData> a = origin.iterator();
while (a.hasNext()) {
     TableData current = a.next();
     String b = current.getB();
     String c = current.getC();
     ArrayList<String> values = this.temp.get(b);

So after this, you'll have a Hashtable with the B values als keys and collections of C values of this particular B as value:
VID --> (911256, 811256)
SONY --> (11256)
Use
temp.keySet()
to populate your dropdown.
After the user selects an entry from the dropdown (let's say stored in variable selectedB), you will be able to retrieve the collection of c's from your Hashtable

ArrayList<String> selectedCs = this.temp.get(selectedB);

There are some add-ons and utilities that can make this process easier. The first one is the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2109/ FEBE] add-on which can be used to copy a profile. Another option is the free [http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/ MozBackup] utility.
