Use picture as start button.

I have a company logo that I would like to use as the start button for my program. I tried to hide an "OK" button and place the picture over the button, but then I can't work the button at all. I made the button visable and put the logo on top of the button, but then I can only work the button using the enter key. I'd like to be able to click the logo (button) or press enter to start the program, but I can't seem to get LabVIEW to let me do both. It might be acceptable to have the start button appear whenever I move the pointer over the logo, but I definitely don't know how to configure a button to do that. Can anyone help me?

Have you tried to make the button transparent, and put the button on top of the logo ?

This is the LabVIEW Real-Time forum, so I suggest that in the future that you post this type of question to the Multifunction DAQ forum.
For the simplest solution you will have to connect your button to a digital line of your board, consult the sc-2345 user manual for a diagram of where these lines are exposed. You will have to connect your start button in series with a line that is high, such as your 5V pin or another digital line. Then connect this to a digital line that will be your start trigger.
Your program can poll the digital line that is connected to your button in a while loop and when it goes high, it lets the rest of the program execute. For the programming, I suggest you take a look at the shipping examples that come with LabVIEW. If yo

Plug it into your computer and restore it. It is in recovery mode. Anything that was on the phone is already gone. If the pictures and videos were not backed up, then there is no way to retrieve them.

Sorry to hear you are having a similar problem. Last night I went to the tool bar at the top of iphoto, clicked on "File", then clicked "Browse Backups" in the drop down menu.    I have an external hard drive that is set up to Time Machine.   The Browse Backups opened the iphoto pages in the Time Machine. I selected a date one day ahead of the day I performed the now infamous update, and it showed my iphoto library as it had existed that day.   I then clicked "Restore Library" at the bottom right corner of the Time Machine screen.   Roughly 2 hours later my iphoto was back to normal.   When I opened iphoto there was a message saying I need to upgrade my program to be compatible with the new version of iphoto(version 9.2.1). I clicked "Upgrade" and within seconds it had done whatever upgrading it needed to do.
The only glitch in the restoration was that it restored the library as it appeared last week, so I no longer had photos I had imported this past weekend.   I simply went back to the Browse Backups in the drop down menu, when Time Machine opened I selected the page showing my pictures from this weekend and again said to Restore Library.   Roughly 45 minutes later the library was restored including the most recent photos.
I am now a happy camper.
I don't know if any of this will be of help to you because your email says you are having trouble with photos imported after the upgrade was performed.   Have you had any pop up notices when you first open iphoto, that tell you you need an upgrade to be compatible with the new iphoto?     If so have you clicked "upgrade"?

But when I took it over there yesterday they told me we can only fix it and not replace it coz I exceeded my warranty reclaim!! its just not practical to have it and send it back overseas within the warranty limit! From previous experience 3 indicates a shutdown initiated by the SMC (System Management Controller) — hardware responsible for many low-level functions including power, sleep, lights, and fan activity.
Try resetting it:
Power or other problems related to unexpected system sleep, shutdown, lights or fans call for an SMC reset. Read all the steps.

You mean a beginner's class for Captivate?
If that's what you mean, I'd have to agree. Likely not. Folks are usually struggling just to come to terms with basic operation of Captivate. Once they are comfortable with basics, then move on to more advanced elements.

Start button still not much use or am i missing something here

I had hoped the new start button would bring back the old feel of windows 7 were I can click it and get to see the application groups. When I press the start button and then press apps I get the full list of every app, thinks like calculator and calendar.
What I was hoping to see was the menu hierarchy as it was in windows 7 like accessories and then click again and get to the lower level things. I want to have these menu type levels or this just feel like windows 8 all over again which wont do it for
my users they will just tell our team to stay with windows 7 till Microsoft fixes windows 10. I am sorry to sound negative but I haven't seen what my users where crying out for and I need help to figure out how to make the menu type start button work.

I am afraid, at the moment, the only way to go back to the "good old days " of Win 7 Start Menu will be installing a 3rd party program, and there are quite a few. Some are compatible with Win 10 TP, some are not.
You might want to use the Feedback app and voice your opinion. Hopefully Microsoft will listen to you and give you what you want in the next new build or even in the "final release".
They don't know what you want unless you tell them.

I do have a large number of raw & jpg images in my pictures directory, but iPhoto seemed ok with it previously. I did leave it running over night and it was still at 50% the next morning. I am running on a 2011 MBP 17" running OS X 10.10.3. I have 400G of free space. I'm ok to throw away my old iPhoto library. I only used it for organizing. I use Adobe PS & LR for editing. I want to be able to do a similar thing with the new Photo Application. Timeline the photos, send them to iCloud and distribute them to my devices ... iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch

Can I use Tcode to start a webdynpro for abap or for JAVA?

I noticed some page program can be started by tcode for administrion. I am not sure whether it is webdynpro or BSP. But can I use tcode to start webdynpro? How to do it?

To Create a Transaction code for a Web Dynpro application, use Transaction SE93 (Transaction Maintenance).
1.       On the dialog screen, enter the transaction code (up to 20 characters) then click on Create button.
2.       A dialog pop up screen appears, enter meaningful description of the transaction in the Short Text field.
3.       Choose the option Transaction with parameters (Parameter transaction).
4.       Choose Continue. The Create Parameter Transaction screen appears.
5.       In the Transaction field, enter WDYID and select the checkbox Skip initial screen. There is no need to make changes in the Classification group box.
6.       Add the necessary entries to the Default Values table by using the F4 help. The values are automatically available after you enter WDYID in the Transaction field.

How can I disable an add on of a second status bar or browsing bar at bottom of screen above the Start button? It pops up showing every site I visit.

There is status/info/browsing line of information showing every single site I use and changes with every site I visit. It isn't in a box, but it shows basically all my browsing. It is like the address bar, but it is at the bottom of the screen and the information shows right above the 'start' button. If you try to click on it, it moves to the right side and you can't right click on it to see if you can close it. It may be an add on, but I don't know how to get rid of it. It is like I have two status bars but this one isn't in a box, it just shows in a line at the bottom of the screen. It shows all browsing information, and it is very distracting when I'm using my computer.

You appear to be describing the status messages. The easiest way to hide them is to use the Status-4-Evar add-on. With it you can choose to not display any of the status messages, or display them in the add-ons bar or location bar instead.

I start a new document. Then I place my scanned pencil/colored pencil drawing, in to the document. I have tried scanning and then placing it as a jpeg, bitmap, and tiff file. I have tried scanning and then placing it, in color and in black and white. The scan mode I use is flatbed. Adobe illustrator allows me to select the default button and one of eleven preset buttons (e.g high fidelity photo), but it does not allow me to click the custom trace button. The custom trace button is grey while all the other buttons are white.
Does anyone have any ideas how I could custom trace?

It seems pointless to adjust it afterwards because it is then only a couple a pencil lines rather then a full drawing. And how do I adjust it afterwards? Would I do this using the different buttons under the window button?

You need to restore the iPad.
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings - Apple Support
If that will not work, you will need to use Recovery Mode to restore.
If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

A720: After Windows 8.1 upgrade, Start Button doesn't work.

After upgrading to Windows 8.1 on a Lenovo IdeaCentre A720, you cannot properly click the Start Button with a mouse. However, touching the screen works as expected.
If you put your mouse in the left-most corner of the screen, so the mouse is no longer visible, left-clicking switches between apps and right-clicking brings up the Start Button command menu.
You also cannot use the top-left corner of the screen to invoke the app-switching menu with a mouse. It never appears. However, swiping with a finger from the left-side of the screen works as expected.
It seems as though the screen is off alignment. It is preventing core features of the Windows 8 OS to be invoked with a mouse.
Please advise.

Avast 2014 was introduced with many outstanding issues and your specific concern appears to be another one of many issues that the Avast team should have picked up before making Avast 2014 generally available. However, I can tell you that my Windows 8.1 Start Button does work properly and I can attest to the fact that their latest GA release (2014.9.0.2007) has fixed all the previous issues that were identified and posted at the Avast forums.
Also, since this latest version was first made available via a CNET download on 11/1/2013, it could just be that you missed that fix by just a few days. In any event, to ensure there are no conflicts when trying to update from v2006 to v2007, I would suggest the followiing:
Download aswclear and do a cleanuninstall:

Then, download the latest Avast vesion here and see if your issue persists:
