Use These Settings by Default - doesn't work

When I am monitoring Active JMS Destinations - you can go into the
Customize and add columns. On that customize screen there is a check
box for "Use These Settings by Default". Which I took to mean I could
change the data displayed and it would be remembered for the next
session. However this does not do that so I'm wondering if this is a
bug in WL 6sp1.
Thanks
Tom

A little hard to understand your post but I would think that if you restored it through iTunes, it would probably correct what you are seeing.

    go to '''TOOLS '''then '''OPTIONS''' then '''ADVANCED''' then '''NETWORK tab''' then '''SETTINGS tab''' and select the options '''NO PROXY''' click '''OK''' and '''OK '''again in the next screen. With that you have disabled the proxy settings.

  • My VGA output using Mini DisplayPort to VGA doesn't work.

    Since I upgraded to Mavericks, my VGA output using Mini DisplayPort to VGA doesn't work. When I was using Mountain Lion, as soon as you plugged in the Mini adaopter into the mini display port, the screen would shrink and format to where it would project via a RGB cable to a projector. No such luck since Mavericks! Also, I had a lot of trouble with the DVD player when I tried to play a DVD and project it via a projector. It all worked seamlessly with Mountain Lion. Can anyone help me?

    I think if you go to System Preferences >> Displays and Option-click on the "Scaled" radio button, it will show you all of the resolutions that you would have had before under Mountain Lion. I just upgraded to Maverick and my resolution preferences (mirrored on a TV using the Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter, using 1280x768) were completely reset (my display was no longer mirrored, and the resolution on my main iMac screen became 2560x1440). I found my answer here: https://discussions.apple.com/message/23599645#23599645. Hope that helps.

  • When using irssi in Terminal, backspace doesn't work, forward delete does

    When using irssi (the command line IRC client) in 'screen' over SSH on Terminal.app, backspace (delete) doesn't work. I have to use forward delete (in my case, fn+delete). Is there any way to enable backspace delete?

    I should also add that I saw instructions on how to fix this for OS X Tiger, but Terminal.app in Leopard seems to have changed.

    "If you're on a Macbook Pro laptop, and using irssi with screen on a remote machine via ssh...
    If your backspace key is acting as a 'delete'-key in irssi in screen, Hit command+I, in terminal to bring up your window preferences, under the Keyboard settings, tick 'Delete key sends backspace' - that should fix that."

    The problem is that Leopard's Terminal doesn't have a "Delete key sends backspace" option to toggle. Does anyone know where I can find this?

  • When I change from "remember History" to "use custom settings" it defaults back to remember history when I close the window. How do I keep my new setting?

    I need 3rd party cookies enabled for a specific site. When I try to save custom settings, it defaults back to remember history and I can't open what I need on the site

    Enabling thirds-party cookies is the default and if there aren't any other changes made then Firefox will show "Remember History"
    Choosing the "Use custom settings for history" setting doesn't make any changes.<br />
    If Firefox shows the "Use custom settings for history" setting then that is an indication that at least one of the history and cookie settings are not the default to make you aware that changes were If all History settings are default then you see "Firefox will: (Never) Remember History" and the custom settings are hidden.<br />

  • In spite of having firefox set to remember usernames and passwords it won't, even if i use a master password, still doesn't work. Is this a bug, i'm on 8-0-1

    I have turned off and on the password setting,, still doesn't help

    Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode.
    *https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Private+Browsing
    To see all History and Cookie settings, choose:
    *Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting <b>Firefox will: Use custom settings for history</b>
    *Deselect: [ ] "Always use private browsing mode"
    Do you mean names and passwords in the Password Manager or do you mean that you are no longer logged on to (remembered by) websites after closing and restarting Firefox?
    There is a difference between remembering the name and password in the Password Manager and a "remember me" check box on a web page.<br />
    The latter usually involves the creation of a special "remember me" cookie that is stored on your computer and that is send to the server.<br />
    If that "remember me" cookie is removed or gets corrupted or is not send to the server then the server won't remember you and you need to sign in once again.

  • I'm trying to use use the variable Evaluate, but doesn't work

    Hi!
    I need to use in the Evaluate of a variable, the condition where is the variable is > of another variable.
    I wrote after that I checked the condition:
    #VARIABLE or '#VARIABLE'
    But it doesn't work. Both of variable is numeric.
    What I have to do?
    I hope to have soon a support because is really important.
    Thanks in advance
    Bye

    I suggest that you must find out what the variables are, as I have tested the two variable EQUALS and NOT and it has worked, so it is a subtlety. Can you add a procedure step which uses a Jython step to print the variable value to the console of an agent so you see what it is comparing.
    In my package I have the steps:
    Declare variable A
    Declare Variable B
    Assign value to A
    Assign valkue to B
    Evaluate Variable A: equals #PROJECTCODE.B
    On true step TRUE
    On False step FALSE
    I tried assigning B the same and different values, each time I ran I got the expected response.

  • I've bought in Manassas #356 one IPHONE 5S UNLOCKED to be used in Italy but it doesn't work. HELP ME

    On 3/6/14 I've bought in Manassas #356 one IPHONE 5S UNLOCKED to be used in Italy with the italian provider. I've paid it US$ 649. Back in Italy, the phone doesn't work with any provider. I've sent one email to the store not receiving any reply. I've called the store but none accepted to read this e-mail or gave me any solution. This problem has been caused by a mistake done from Best Buy employees and as customer I expect a quick solution from Best Buy.

    Hello MassimoMastrocola,
    When traveling, it’s essential to have an unlocked phone as each country has different carriers. I’m sorry to hear that you may have received a phone that was tied to a carrier local to the United States.  This must be the last thing you want to be worrying about while in Italy, and I’m sorry you’ve had a difficult time trying to receive assistance.
    Because of this, I’d like to take a closer look into your predicament to see if I may help. I’ve sent you a private message which may be viewed by logging into the forum and clicking on the envelope icon in the upper right-hand corner.

  • Using GFI Faxmaker NetPrintQueue2Fax-printer doesn´t work with CR  XI

    A customer of us needs help urgently!
    Using NetPrintQueue2Fax with CR 8 generated reports worked fine, but after upgrade software to CR XI, no changes made in existing reports, we are not able to send faxes using NetPrintQueue2Fax-printer. The faxnumber recognition no longer works and the reports are send to faxmaker in binary format.
    Is it possible to generate reports in the same format as in the old version CR 8?
    Please help!
    Reinhard

    Sorry, we don´t understand your answer!
    If we uninstall CR XI, faxprinting works with the application.
    Installing CR XI and updating to the use of UNICODE therefore (as you wrote in your answer), does not work. We need a downgrade solution, so that we can print with CR XI installed!
    Or do you mean, we need a fax printing driver supporting unicode?
    But this would be a joke! The problem is CR XI and not GFI Faxmaker!

  • HELP QUICK!  My iPad is restricting me from using YouTube, when I used my friend's theirs worked perfectly (using my wifi) and when I try again to use mine at home it doesn't work. help me please!

    Dear reader,
    Could you please help me quick, my iPad is restricting me from something.
    I tried to go on YouTube many times on my favorite videos list and I get a message saying: you don't have permission to access the requested resource. I go to settings to see if anybody restricted me from YouTube and nobody did. I went to my friend's house and they have wifi. My iPad worked perfectly in YouTube. I went back to use my dad's iPad and after I watched some videos for a while, his stopped working on YouTube too. After then, I went back to my mom's house and the same thing happened. TO BOTH MY IPAD AND MY DAD'S! Is there something wrong with them? Please reply soon! :)

    I have the same issue. When I select a video from my favorites list (this is in the YouTube app—not through the Safari browser), I get the error message "You do not have permission to access the requested resource." My sister has said she has gotten the same message on her iPhone 3GS.
    The work around is to kill the YouTube process (double press the home key to bring up the recent apps list, press and hold on the YouTube icon until the red minus sign appears, then tap on the minus sign). When you restart YouTube, it works.
    However, invariably, the next day, when I try again, I get the same message, and have to kill YouTube again.

  • Installed Flashplayer 11, but Macromedia 8 defaults & doesn't work

    Please read this carefully as I'll try my best to explain my problem.  It's complicated!
    I have IE 8 and Microsoft Windows XP (Home Edition)  32bit (-86)
    First I deleted all prior versions of Flash Player on my computer.  This started out by me trying to watch a video on my computer that I downloaded and when Macromedia Flash Player 8(an older version) popped up, it didn't run the video, but instead just opened up and the window inside was blank.
    From that I then downloaded the newest version of Flash Player 11.6.602.180
    When I go and try to view the videos on my computer, only Macromedia Flash Player 8 comes up and tries to play the video.  When I tried to delete Macromedia FP 8, it's not even listed in the Add/Remove Programs in the control panel.  However, when I do look there I do see the newest version of FP 11 there.  What's odd though is that it says "Adobe Flash Player 11  Active X".  It shows the program installed, but there's no info there for it.  It doesn't show the file size of the program, etc.
    When I download the program, it goes to the below destination file:
    My Documents\Downloads\Programs\install_flashplayer11x32ax_gtbd_chrd_dn_aih.exe
    I had it say a few times that the download was successful.
    How come I can't find Macromedia Flash Player 8 to delete?  When I use the search feature Start>Search>For Files or Folders.... nothing comes up.  Can't find it.
    Does anyone have any resolutions or ideas on how to solve this problem?  I did Google the situation and found similar and the author/poster fixed his problem by going into his registry... and also mentioned something about Active X.  I also did find another similar problem and went through the steps of enabling some scripting and Active X, but that was already set properly.
    Your help would be very appreciated as I've had this problem for some time and am finally trying hard to fix it!
    I appreciate your time.

    Yes, when I say "on my computer", I mean videos that were downloaded onto my computer and not videos like on say... YouTube.  I see these videos I have on the computer are .flv.
    Just curious, but why would I want to download the Projector?  Is that the solution?  Or is that another viewing option?  Because if it's another option, I can watch them with Realplayer and Adobe Media Player.
    When I go to the actual video, I right click and see an option that says "Open With -> " and can see my options.  One of them says "Macromedia Flash Player 8.0 r22".  I wish someone would address this too because I can't find it on my computer to delete it!  I tried using the search feature on my computer and it comes up with no queries and I do not see it in the Add/Remove Programs folder.
    Thanks for your help PW.

  • I have upgraded to IOS5 and installed imessaging, it worked ok for a while and now it seems only to work occasionally or sometimes not at all. Is there any use in having software that doesn't work. I am not the only person who has this fault,

    Hi , does anyone know how to fix the problem with imessages. Sometimes it works and more often than not it doesn't. I upgraded my iphone 3gs a couple of weeks ago and the imessaging worked splendidly but now it hardly works at all. Both my daughters have the same problem and it isn't the wifi coz they live in different parts of the country.
    Any help on this matter would be apppreciated as its doing my head in
    I have an iphone 3gs and my daughters have iphone 4's.
    I have reset my iphine but to no avail

    Hi Louise, sorry to hear of your problems. This is not Adobe. We are mainly support volunteers, other users like you, trying to help one another.  You need to contact Adobe directly for activation and licencing issues. Click the link below. Use the dropdown menu for boxes (1) & (2) to scroll down the list and choose:

  • BUG? using own EntityResolver with SAX doesn't work

    Hello,
    I was experimenting with the oracle.xml.parser.XMLParser using
    the SAX interface.
    I've written a test program that instantiates a driver and
    registers my own handlers (which just print to System.out).
    I also have my own org.xml.sax.EntityResolver, it looks like
    this:
    public class SAXEntityResolver implements EntityResolver {
    public InputSource resolveEntity(String publicId,
    String systemId) throws SAXException, IOException {
    System.out.println("<<Call to resolveEntity>>");
    try { //assume it's a URL of some sort
    URL url=new URL(systemId);
    return new InputSource(url.openStream());
    catch (MalformedURLException e1) {
    try { //it's not a URL, assume a file spec
    FileInputStream fin=new FileInputStream(systemId);
    return new InputSource(fin);
    catch (FileNotFoundException e2) {
    return null;
    //don't understand it, let the parser handle it.
    when I parse the following xml file:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <!DOCTYPE dinner SYSTEM "dinner.dtd">
    <dinner>
    <location planet="Earth">Alma 3</location>
    <time>12:30</time>
    <date>Vandaag</date>
    </dinner>
    The parser generates an error to my org.xml.sax.ErrorHandler
    which prints it to the screen. The output looks like this:
    [C:\temp\xml]java -cp c:\TEMP\xml\oracle\lib\xmlparser.jar;.
    SAXParseXML oracle.xml.parser.XMLParser dinner.xml
    Locater accepted: oracle.xml.parser.SAXLocator@6ba51a96
    document parsing start
    [error: Couldn't find external DTD 'dinner.dtd']
    element dinner start: null:4:1
    (other output follows with no more errors)
    It seems as if the Oracle XMLParser doesn't use my EntityResolver
    to resolve it's external entities (the dinner.dtd file in this
    case, the file is indeed there, trust me!), otherwise it would
    have printed the message seen in the code above (<<Call to
    resolveEntity>>). If you're wondering how I configured the
    systemId in the SAX parser, here's how:
    File f=new File(args[1]);
    InputSource src=new InputSource(new FileInputStream(f));
    src.setSystemId(f.toURL().toString());
    p.parse(src);
    Can you tell me why this is? (I use NT4 with jdk 1.2)
    I've tested the same thing with the IBM, Microstar and Sun
    parsers, and they all seem to work fine with this example...
    Hope to hear from you! (cc in with mail please)
    Erwin.

    Thanks for the post. You have identified a bug which will be
    fixed in a maintenance release. Until that time you can parse a
    String type rather than a InputSource type in SAXParseXML.java as
    a workaround.
