Use wire and wireless at same time

My computer has wire and wireless network devices  together. Also I am using two WRT54G routers that one is conneted internet at next door and the other is in my office. Wire network is used to use internet and wireless is connected to use DVR(Digital Video Recorder). I know if I use one router with internet and DVR together, I wouldn't have any problem, but now I can't do that.
When I enable both network device, I can't use internet because the default is wire one which isnt' connect with internet. That's why I have to disable wire when I use internet.
What I ask you is I want use both at same time. That means when I want use internet, wire would be worked. Using DVR has no problem because wire is default.
How can I reach my goal?

How did you connect the two WRTs?

Yo can use both, but you will find that a wired connection is better, especially for the PS3.

  • Is there a way I can stream video from my 2012 AirMac to the Apple TV using airplay and at the same time stream the audio to an air speaker?

Is there a way stream video from a 2012 MacBook Air to a TV using Apple TV and at the same time steam the audio to an air speaker. Also the same question but using an ipad

You can try one thing. Follow these steps:
    1. On your Mac, turn on AirPlay Mirroring and connect it to the Apple TV, so audio and video will stream from the Apple TV.
    2. Turn off the sound of the TV where you have connected the Apple TV.
    3. Then, make sure that you have turned on the AirPlay speakers. Then, open System Preferences > Sound > Output, and choose the external speakers, so sound will stream from these external speakers.
    This should work correctly

  • I cant use photoshop and illustrator in same time....

    Hello!
I have CS3 and i´ll try run photoshop and illustrator in same time. If i run first photoshop then illustrator not work and if i run illustrator then photoshop not work. :-/ What i pose to do??
    PC:
    AMD FX (Six-core)
    Memory 8G (XP 32bit -> ~4G)
    Thanx anyway!

Read this probably the scratch disk you haqve is too full, and you will have to select a scratch disk that is not fragmented and has plenty of room to work. The scvratch disk is storing the various undo states for both Photoshop and Illustrtor.
Illustrator has unlimited undos so that takes up a lot of scratch space if you do complex art work with many points being employed to create the art and Photoshop will do the same if you are using very high resimages with many layers.
And in 32 bit the amount of RAM is limited which puts a strain on the scratch disk so it has to bve very large if you want it to work for you.
This is what I recommend to you go 64 bit get another 8 GB of Memory at least and get a hard drive you can use as a swcratch disk that will not have any files on it or that you can partition to have a large amount of free space.
You will have to read a little bit but you can start here:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/optimize-performance-photoshop-cs4-cs5.html#main_Memor y_Usage
I am on a Mac myself and have 24GB of memory and feel I could still use anoter 8GBs but I do some motion graphics as well.
Nut if you do a lot of Illustrator and Photoshop that can be just as big a drain on your resiources.

  • Satelitte C55-A Can't Use Keyboard and Mousepad at same time

How do I change the settings so that I can use them both at the same time? I use them both for all my games, but I can't turn with my mouse pad when im walking with my keyboard keys (W,A,S,D). Does anyone know how to change this?
    I'm on Windows 8 btw.
    Thanks,

There should be a setting for that in Mouse Properties, Evan. Something like "Disable touchpad while typing."
    Also, it's a "feature" of Windows 8.1.
Button clicks for internal touchpads and pointing sticks are not responsive while or shortly after t...
Windows 8.1 introduces a feature that is called accidental activation prevention (AAP). AAP helps ensure that unintended taps while you type on an integrated touchpad are suppressed. When this feature is enabled, taps and clicks from an integrated touchpad or pointing stick are suppressed for a while after the last keystroke..

  • Use internet and phone at same time?

I am new to smartphones, so I was hoping someone could help me. I was using my Samsung Fascinate phone yesterday when I also tried to use the internet. The phone call got disconnected. Is there a way to surf the internet while being on the phone? I figured with a phone as advanced as this, you should be able to do both. Do I need to access the wi-fi to get on the net, or can I use the 3G for both the phone and web? I would appreciate any help.

Verizon and therefore the Samsung Fascinate uses CDMA wireless technology.  It is not possible to be on the internet and phone at the same time with CDMA with a 3G connection.  In order to use the internet and make phone calls at the same time, you need to be connected to wifi.  Cell carriers AT&T and T-mobile uses GSM which allows data and phone at the same time.

  • Using ethernet and wifi at same time

I just upgraded to Lion and now I can not access my WIFI print server at the same time I am connected to the ethernet using the wired cable.  In Lepard it worked fine.  To clarify, I use the ethernet cable for internet access and I use WIFI to print and access a network hard drive.  When WIFI is off, the internet works fine, the moment I turn on the WIFI, the internet sonnections stops.  Since October 2010, this connection has worked fine until Lion.  I have a second IMac on Lepard and it also still works fine with both ethernet and wifi at the same time.

Try to swipe up and press play from control centre while in your game. This often works however with some games/app the developers have set to pause your music and after you swipe away control centre the music will stop.
    Hope this helps!

  • Using airport and ethernet at same time

I am networked from my intel macbookpro to a G5. I cannot connect to my airport at the same time i'm plugged into ethernet cable. Is there any way around this. This can be done when networking with mac based G5's. I guess it has something to do with the intel technology.

I guess it has something to do with the intel technology.
Actually no, you should be able to connect multiple interfaces (ethernet and wireless) concurrently.

Thank you for the reply with additional information.
Since you are using Premiere Elements 13, then you are using the new Shake Stabilizer, not the Stabilizer seen in prior versions.
I want to make sure of exactly what you are doing with regard to "overblending". This is my first impression....
    1. You have video on Video Track 1, and this video has applied to it Shake Stabilizer.
    2. You also have video on Video Track 2 directly above the video on Video Track 1, and this video has had applied to it Shake Stabilizer.
    3. Then you select video on Video Track 2 and adjust the Opacity and Blend Mode for this video.
And, after the Opacity adjustments, the Shake Stabilizer effect is lost in the video on Video Track 2.
Is that interpretation correct? If not, please explain further.
    Thank you.

  • Possible to use Airport and Ethernet at same time?

Short question: I want to use my wired Ethernet connection for my local area network to access my file servers and other computers on my network, and a wireless Airport connection for Internet usage.
    Is this possible? How?
It seems that with both "on", I am connecting to both via Ethernet and it is forgoing the wireless network entirely even though it shows as connected to my wireless network.
    PowerMac G5 Dual 2.5GHz   Mac OS X (10.4.3)

This is normally done like this.
Your Internet Service Provider furnishes you a Modem.
You run an Ethernet cabale from your ISP's Modem to the Wan Port, or uplink port on your wireless Router, ( You will have to purchase the Wireless Router.
Wireless Routers are available in 2 4 and 6 port varietys.
Anything you plug into the ports as many computers as you have ports for hard wired connections. This will allow for wired and wireless connections to the Internet and all can be used simultaniouslly.
Remember each machine you have connected will have to have the correct setting in the Network Preferences.
This can also be done with a Switch or a Hub each varys a little bit on the confiquration.. If you need more information be specific on exactly what all you are trying to hook up and what ISP you have the Modem they furnish, the exact router you are using and the number of machines and how they are set in the Network setting on each,
Normally any wireless router you purchase will give you a step by step on hoe to set it up, in the paper work that comes with them. Good Luck Don

  • I can't use PS3 and Laptop at same time ?

OK I'm hoping although strange this might be a simple as changing a setting in my hub or laptop, here goes:-
Like many housholds nowadays I have many things connected to my Hub, Desktop, Ipod, Phone, Sky, games machines, etc
Well the problem I have, is when I stream Netflix or Amazon prime on my PS3 it buffers a lot or wont go HD for quite some time, no problem I switched to a wired set up, which helped with speed a lot, happily watching movies of an evening,
then one evening, it kept saying it's taking a long time to sign in, and wouldn't, I re check my network settings, and it shows unable to obtain an ip address,
so I set up the wirless again, and the same problem,
anyway after a few nights of this, I get a bit fed up, then out of the blue, it works again, both wireless and when I switch back to wired,
so I settle down to watch a film, fire up laptop, and after a few mins it flashes on my PS3 I have been disconnected, I peice things to gether and realise, when I have laptop on I cant connect PS3, even if laptop is wirless and PS3 wired ?.
I assume they are both using the same ip ?, I deleted the laptop from my Hub in the hope it would assign another, fired up PS3, and then re booted laptop, but straight away it kicks out PS3.
I have mooched arround in hub advanced settings, but I dont know what I'm doing, so not going to adjust anything, so if it is just a case of modifying my laptop or hub settings, if someone could instruct me I would be greatful, and if its not thought to be that HHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLPP   Please
    Thanks in advance
    Chris
P.S. I have searched the forums, there seems to be a lot of PS3 connection problems, but nothing that matches my particular problems

No I'm afraid that didn't work either

  • How do you use voice and data at same time?

I'm on a call and need to look up data from a file also on my phone. What's the simplest and most effective way to simultaneously do this? Thanks in advance.

If you're with Verizon, you can only do this in a wifi area.
The simplest way is to tap the home button and then tap the icon of what you want to do. You'll either have to use speakerphone or an earpiece in order to see the screen .

Will my whole itunes library be transferred to my new computer with home sharing,in other words will I be able to use bothe computers at the same time ? And will I have two copies of my all my playlists?

    Hi there J1750oe,
You may find the information in the article below helpful.
iTunes: How to move your music to a new computer
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4527
    Transferring playlists
If you want not only your content but also your playlists to exist on your new computer, you will want to transfer a copy of all your playlists from your old computer. To do this, choose File > Library > Export Library on your old computer. Save the XML file that is created to your desktop.
Send the playlists file to yourself as an e-mail attachment, use an external drive, or use file sharing to move the playlists file to your new computer. Once the file is on your new computer, open iTunes and choose File > Library > Import Playlist. The import process will remove any items from the playlists that you didn't share via Home Sharing.

  • Can you stream video and use the computer at the same time on a mac mini with hdmi

Can you steam video and use the computer at the same time? I have a mac mini with hdmi.

Shouldn't be a problem, unless you want to view it in Full Screen Mode at the same time with only one display.
