Use with IE 8 or Google Chrome

Has anyone made this work?
I have an interview by Adobe Connect Pro on Thursday, so I thought I'd just check everything will work - but the connection test crashes in both Chrome ("The following plug-in has crashed: Shockwave Flash") and IE8 (no such explicit clear message).
Do I need to find a third browser to make this work?

The Firefox error details included a file name that looked like it might be related to my webcam. Sure enough, if I uninstall everything to do with the webcam and then re-install the drivers only, the Adobe Connection test passes.
A bit more diagnostic from the connection test would be good; I wouldn't have guessed that the "speed test" would interact with the webcam in any way!
Hopefully it really works - performance interview in 45 minutes!

If anyone is reading this still looking for what caused the issue and how to fix it here is what I discovered.
The antivirus program our company uses, Bitdefender Antivirus Plus, was causing some of the PDF files not to open. After troubleshooting the different modules and settings the culprit was..
Scan SSL in Privacy Control Settings. Turning it OFF solved the problem and all the PDF files that previously would not open now open just fine. This issue has been sent to Bitdefender for them to review. If you use a different antivirus program and are having this issue try locating the Scan SSL setting and see if turning it off solves the problem.

My Firefox just updated to 6.0.2, and required the latest Adobe Flash Player; however the Flash installation came with a download of Google Chrome, which I do not want and stopped its install after Flash installed successfully.

Basically, I just want to know if this will have any effect on my Firefox, and if this will occur each time I update the Flash player, because I DON'T want Chrome! I want AND prefer Firefox!

Uninstall Google Chrome from Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs
IF you are not satisfied with the Windows Add/Remove Programs Uninstaller, you can use some other Uninstaller softwares like Revo Uninstaller (Free version or PRO version), IObit Uninstaller etc, to Completely Remove Google Chrome.

Use these software to Uninstall Google Chrome, Scan for leftover files after the Uninstallation and then Delete all leftover files identified as associated files.
Check and tell if its working.

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (1 MB).

For CRM 2007/7.0 IE8 was release conditionally. Basically it defaults IE8 back to compatibility mode when viewing CRM from IE8. Please take a look at the following OSS Notes

I haven't seen anything for Chrome and Firefox 3 in terms of official support right now.

I want to open my email using firefox, but since installing Google Chrome, all email links are opened with it, and I don't have access to my firefox tool bars to email a page, etc.

All email are opened by Google Chrome since I installed it. I want to use Firefox with its toolbars for emailing pages, etc., and there seems to be no easy way to email a page using Chrome.
I tried uninstalling Chrome, but then could not open any email.

Help needed with identifying cause of Google Chrome crashes from a crash report

Hello,
I am trying to isolate a problem which is causing Google Chrome to crash. This is happening far too frequently - sometimes on opening, sometimes on web page loads and sometimes when viewing the preferences page.
I'm using a 2012 Mac Mini running OS X 10.8.4.
After many hours of trawling around the Internet and trying various suggestions, I am close to admitting defeat. Hopefully somebody here can save my sanity and point me towards a possible cause.
To date, these are some of the things that I have tried:
Replacing the 16GB of Crucial Ram with the stock Ram.
Logging in as a Guest user and opening Chrome.
Disabling all Chrome extensions (there are only 3 that I use anyway).
Uninstalling Chrome and all associated files that I could find, then reinstalling.
Booting into Safe Mode and loading Chrome.
None of these have made a difference. There have also been a couple of times when Firefox has crashed, too. Safari has been rock solid. Yes, I could just use Safari, but there are personal reasons why I need to use Chrome. I also need to locate this problem in case it is something that might effect other applications … or possibly even be a hardware problem.

Having trouble with flash games in Google Chrome

They're running so slooow! And when I go to a site that has flash anything (a game, even an advertisement) and I'm running iTunes at the same time, iTunes skips.
I have a 15" MacBook Pro that I bought in August 2010. I recently wiped my computer's memory and reinstalled everything because I was having problems with disk permissions. I'd click "Repair Permissions" in Disk Utility, and it said it would repair all of the permissions, but if I clicked "Repair Permissions" 10 seconds after it was done, the same file errors would show up. So I completely wiped my computer's memory and reinstalled everything. I'm completely caught up on updates, and now this flash thing is happening.
This seems like something that should be a simple fix. I'm just not sure what that fix is.

Uninstall Java 7 and back to Java with 32 bit for Google Chrome

My Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 i need to have a Java with 32 bit to run a site (pdf on-line viewer) on google Chrome. First i update to Java 7 than i red about and uninstall Java 7 and restore the Java 1.6.0_37 from Apple Inc. I don't know if it is 32bit or 64 bit. How I can fix it?

I have the exact same problem and unfortunately with 10.7.5 update "Java Preferences" application is gone.

I need to uninstall - or the ability to be able to switch the 32bit/64bit version of Java.
This is a major problem and I need 32 bit version of Java to be able to use Chrome java applets... Any help is appretiated.

Sound problems with flash player in Google chrome

Whenever I try to play any videos or play any games using google chrome the sound is very choppy. This only started when Chrome updated to the newest version of flash player. I don't have this problem when using Internet explorer. When I checked what version I am using of flash player in IE I found out it is an older version, 10.3.
I have an older computer and speed is definitely an issue. I watch a lot of tv shows using my computer and I prefer Google Chrome as it seems to be faster than IE at least for my computer.
My pc stats
Windows XP
Pentium 4 CPU 1.80GHz
1.79GHz , 640 MB of RAM
77% free space.
Is there any way to go back to the earlier version of flash player with Google Chrome?

I don't like using IE because it refuses to open several sites to watch the tv shows I want to watch. I decided to download Firefox and that seems to be working. This version of firefox actually has the most recent version of flash player and it seems to be working ok. I really wish I could use google chrome, but it seems I can't. Oh well as long as I get to watch my shows, I guess this will have to do.

Why can't I open PDF files with Adobe Reader in Google Chrome?

Suddenly I cannot open PDF files with Adobe Reader when I am in Google Chrome. I have installed up to date versions of both. What is happening?

PDF file open with application name on google chrome.

I use cl_wd_runtime_services=>attach_file_to_response to open/save a pdf output from a webdynpro application. The functionality works fine in Internet Explorer , firefox, but Popup is not opening in Google Chrome and file name showing as application name.
On other browsers its showing what ever i am passing.
Has anyone faced similar issue before. Can someone help

Error Message when opening Project Plan on Project Professional from PWA 2013 using either Google Chrome or Firefox

Dears,,
One of our clients uses Google Chrome
as their standard navigator to open PWA 2013 that we have deployed for them.
Every thing went fine until we tried to open a project plan using Project Professional 2013 from PWA using the Edit in Project Professional option, we had the below error:
"Project Web App was unable to find the specified Project.
the project was not found on Project Web App. some possible reasons include:
The Project has not yet been saved successfully to the server.
The Project has been deleted on the server.
you don’t have adequate permissions to open this project.
if the project is available in the local cache, you can click the globe in the status bar and select "Work offline", and then open the project, if the problem continues, contact
your administrator."
Please note that IE is working fine with this scenario,
the belwo screenshot shows the error that appears to the users.

Google Chrome Crashing MBP with retina display

My customer just bought a MBP with retina display and Google Chrome is crashing the laptop and rebooting every time he is running the program. Has anyone else seen this problem? He is thinking about taking it back and going back to PC... Please help!! thanks

You might also want to install the excellent gfxCardStaus from Cody Krieger. For some reason Google Chrome feels as if it needs to use the discrete graphics card when, since the fix with the Intel 4000 GPU, it has been able to use integrated. gfxCardStatus let's you use one or the other or discrete switching (for instance with Photoshop, etc., apps that really do need discrete GPU.

IWeb with Google Chrome Opacity Problem

Hi, I'm relatively new to iWeb and probabably do not know many features, so.. don't blame me if i do not know what you mean
In iWeb, I created some text with shadows and line dividers, both with opacity on them:
and with changing colors when cursor hovers over the links:
However, after I published it, it appeared like this when using the latest version of Google Chrome on Mac OS X 10.6.8:
with no opacity on the shadow and line dividers, and no change of color when hovering over the text.
Also, only the opacity works on Safari, not the color change. Is it due to my browser? or did I just missed out options when publishing? o.O
