Used migration asst from  iMac to new iMac successfully EXCEPT that NONE of my iTunes library migrated.

Can still gain access to old iMac if necessary. Everything on the old machine was backed up to a LaCie hard drive. Can't connect Lacie directly to the new machine because the LaCie connection to old iMac is firewire.
