Used versus Free Problem

I have 36 songs on my Ipod (showing in iTunes, that is), each one the normal 3 to 6 mb in size. This would add up to somewhere around 150 mb. However, iTunes says that I have 36 songs, 3.6 Gb used, 188 mb free. I cannot figure this out. I cannot find any one file that is unusually large. And I only have 155 songs in my entire iTunes library. Any advice would be most appreciated.

What does iTunes say that the size of your iTunes library is? If the iTunes library is big, then the iPod isn't doing anything wrong, and there is just one large file. If the iTunes library is what it should be (size-wise), then something else might be going on.
Are there any photos, notes, calendar entries, contacts, files, etc. on your iPod?
Is your iPod set to automatically update?

Kindly refer : CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed.
Please revert if the problem persists.

Adobe Reader never converted Publisher files to PDF, for free, never. I suspect you use to have the (paid for) Adobe Acrobat. Sometimes people have Acrobat (more than $300 worth) and install Adobe Reader over the top, losing that valuable software.
That said, if you subscribed to PDF Pack it should do this conversion. What exactly happens now.

This is a pain when the phone re-sorts the order, when I need the most used number to be first using hands free in my car. Who can get this corrected in the iphone software to leave the order in which I imput numbers alone.

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

Help using "erase free space" feature in Disk Utility

If I try to "erase free space" on my hard drive, the task never completes, and a temporary file is created, which can be deleted upon restart. If I start up from the Tiger Install DVD to wipe the free hard drive space, will I still have this problem or will it work properly?

So how much "free space" for a Temp file do you need to even use "Erase Free Space"? I have 111G available (120G drive), and I have 50G "free space", and it uses up all my space for a Temp File, then won't proceed unless I "clear more room on your startup drive". I need over HALF the drive empty to even use "Erase Free Space"? It would be nice if Apple told us before we started the long process.

Adobe Encore bytes used versus Data Written - ?

Hello all!
I'm perplexed!
I exported a 30 second clip from Adobe Premiere CS5.5 (via AME) using the Mpeg-2 DVD setting/preset. I imported the video file as a timeline into Adobe Encore, and imported the .wav file as an asset. No menus, as this was a "first play" test.
When it was time to build the project, the "bytes used" read 19.5MB. However, once the build finished, the "data written" read 550MB. This concerns me.
Q1 - Why is there such vast difference in size between the bytes used and the data written?
Q2 - My official project is nearly 2 hours. When I load it up, I'm sure "bytes used" will be multiple GB's, which is fine because I'm using a double layered DVD. However, my concern is that the data written will be gigantic! Am I assuming correctly?
IF I'm right, there is a problem. As we know, the DVD won't burn beyond the space allowed. How is it possible that Encore says there is enough space with bytes used, but the data written FAR exceeds the capacity of the DVD?
The reason I did the 30 second clip is because my first 3 attempts to burn the DVD have failed. Adobe Encore freezes and won't finish, EVENTHOUGH there was enough space on the DVD according to "bytes used". I ASSUME it's because the data WRITTEN exceeds the available space.
Is this making sense? Has anyone encountered this or have any suggestions? Do I need to provie anymore information to help assess the situation?

3 things
1 - I don't remember the exact number, but there is some "overhead" written to the DVD (navigation commands to the player ???)
2 - check to be sure you did not put an entry in the ROM space, to write computer files to the DVD
3 - I don't have a link, but I "think" I remember a really old discussion that there is a minimum amount that may be written to a DVD for it to work in a standalone player, and that Endore will "pad" the write if there is not enough data
As far as Encore freezing... do the below as a test
Create a DVD output ISO file and then use the FREE http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download to write the ISO to DVD (send the author a PayPal donation if you like his program)
Read http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1322583 for notes on installing Imgburn WITHOUT any toolbar add-ons
When you write to disc with Imgburn, use the SLOWEST possible speed setting, so your burner has the best chance to create "good, well formed" laser burn holes... since no DVD player is required to read a burned disc, having a "good" one from a high quality blank will help

Sorry, no way around this limitation on an iOS device. To use a new iCloud account, you need to create such on a computer first, then setup the account on your iOS device.

Hello, my daughter's ipod nano (4th generation) is no longer recognised on itunes and on its settings it says 0KB used 0KB free !!
How can I get it working again? I have done the usual restart/restore thing but it just comes back the same once I've entered the language and country

As has been mentioned Adobe Reader cannot export PDF page content. Nor can it create PDF or manipulate PDF page content.
What you can do is use one of Adobe's online subscription services. Two provide for PDF to Word export.
There's ExportPDF and PDF Pack.

I get the address as it should be as in attachment when I hover over the "FLIXTER" add on the right of screen. When I click it just comes out in a new window but BLANK. Open in IE then shows me the correct view. Puzzling. I have tried disapbling ans enabling java script in my options and sometimes this works then sometimes not??
