Useful list of the Freeview channels as of 1st OCt

A useful list of the Freeview channels as of 1st OCt is at
http://www.freeview.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/Freeview-Channel-Guide_1-Oct.pdf
Of course it gets quickly outdated ... eg when ITV Be starts on channel 26 on 8th OCt.
However it does list the various regional and local variants fairly clearly.

Sadly as I am on a Relay transmitter that is more like a wishlist! I get 24 channels and that includes SD/HD duplicates. Luckily I still have my old Sky box for the likes of ITV3&4, 5USA etc. could have sworn when the digital switchover took place I read somewhere that Relays would be upgraded too but no sign of that ever happening.

  • Using bus in the Output channel

Hi there, what's the deal with using the bus instead of Output ? In which case can we use this, in order of what?
    Thanks

Are you referring to submixes, for example? Let's say you have 8 drum tracks. Select each of the drum tracks to (say) Bus 1 instead of Output 1-2. Now you can set individual levels of your drums, but control the overall level of your drums with the fader on an Aux object that has Bus 1 selected as its input. The output of the Aux would be 1-2.

  • Is there a list of the radio channels?

Lost some favorites in the recent upgrade and can't find their category.

I'm not sure I understand the question. The list of radio stations is on the Apple TV. You can however look at the same list in iTunes on your mac/pc.

  • My Freeview Channels Have Disappeared

I wonder if this has happened to anyone else and if there's an inexpensive solution?
We used to get various BTV channels - BT Sport, Catch Up and On Demand - which we still do - but ever since the 23rd June upgrade, all my freeview channels have disappeared from the TV guide.  The HD channels are listed but can't view those as we dont live in a BT Infinity-covered area (at least, we didnt last time I checked + they said they would email me when that changed). I have scanned repeatedly for channe;ls to see if I can recover the Freeview Channels but still no luck; so I now have no live TV except the 2 Sport Channels and zero radio stations either.
    Help!!!

Well it could still be a poor signal or no signal coming down the aerial cable in which case none of the following would make a blind bit of difference, but here goes anyway.
    (1)  Try unplugging both aerial cable and ethernet cable from the back of the BT Vision+ box and doing the rescan. This should ensure it finds absolutely nothing, not even the BT Sport channels. Then plug them both back in and try the rescan again.
    (2)  Hold down the rectangular blue standby button on the front of the box for about 7 seconds. It will turn purple (standby), then flash red (eco standby), and then go off completely at which point the box will restart. Let go of the button and let it go through the restart process. Then try a rescan.
    (3)  The same as above but at the same time as holding the rectangular button also hold down both the OK+Down buttons on the front of the box. You can let go of those once the box restarts and you see the screen about software updating appear. Can be a bit tricky to do on your own.
.. and if you are feeling really brave ...
    (4)  The same as above but at the same time as holding the rectangular button also hold down both the Left+Down buttons on the front of the box. You can let go of those once the box restarts and you see the screen about resetting appear.
IMPORTANT: This will do a factory reset and all your recordings, scheduled recordings and other personal settings will be lost.
A simpler way to initiate the factory reset is just to go to Help & Settings > Settings > System Information and select the Factory Reset button at the bottom of the page.
Full info here. How do I reset my BT Vision+ box?

  • BT Infinity freeview channels

My relatives will soon be getting fibre installed in their town, which means that soon they will be able to get BT Sport etc on their Youview box. My question is, their Television mast is a relay from the main one so they can not get all the channels for the area, it is also not possible to move onto the main mast as the town is in a valley, so is it possible to get channels like Dave etc onto their TV through BT Infinity or not?
    Thanks

    Hi rarmitage124,
BT TV uses a combination of freeview, multicast live streaming through Infinity and on demand via the catch up players.
Here's a list of the Internet channels that are available if you've got Infinity.
    I hope that helps.

  • Newbie questions - reordering Freeview channels an...

Hi, I've had BT Vision for two days, and so far so good! Actually, it's much better than I was expecting. However, I've got a couple of questions:
    1. Is it possible to reorder the Freeview channels (e.g. so that ITV2 is next to ITV2+1)?
    2. Is there a way of listing the on demand programmes that you have partially watched, or do you have to remember what they were, and track them down again to continue watching (either through the on demand listings or by searching)? Related to this, if you pause/stop a programme and switch to live TV, is there a way to switch back again?
Would really appreciate any advice from those with more experience. Many thanks,
    Ed.

    1. Sadly no. Must admit I'd like that too.
    2. Pretty sure you can't do this either, but I don't use on demand that much so can't put hand on heart. It will remember how far you got through a programme, but I don't thing it will let you find it again easily. The second part of the question is more interesting. On demand and recordings have a channel number assigned to them. If, while playing an on demand programme or recording you change channel without first stopping the programme the box will remember the fact that something is playing and start it up again if you go back to the appropriate channel: 902 for on demand or 900 for your recordings, but if you stop it first you'll have to select it again from the appropriate menu.
So lets say you're watching Wonders of the Universe on Replay and you look at the clock and see it's time for the BBC news. Press 1 on the remote to go to BBC1. Then when the news is finished press 902 and you'll find Wonders will spring immediately back into life where you left it. Same works for PVR recordings on channel 900.

  • How do I make the autoreply channel respond to local domain users?

I'm running iMS5.1 on Solaris 8. This machine is only used as a mail store (called mailhost). The SMTP (sendmail) server handles aliases and mail lists. The autoreply channel identifies the "respond to" user's e-mail address as NOT local, DEBUG=3 in the options file. The address to respond to is [email protected] Yet, the message never gets sent, the following message is in the trace file:
WARNING: Add sender's address failed: One of the specified addresses does not comply to RFC 822
I checked the auto generated aliases by dumping the IMTA_ALIAS_DATABASE. They are of the form: [email protected]
When the mail message comes from outside our subdomain, autoreply works fine. The message gets sent to our SMTP server. Here are the relevant lines from the imta.cnf:
! Rules to select local users
    mailhost.mysub.ourdomain.com \ $U%$[email protected]
    mysub.ourdomain.com $U%$[email protected]
    <snip> lots of stuff
    ! autoreply
    autoreply defragment subdirs 20
    autoreply-daemon
I tried changing the rewrite rules from $U%$D to simply $U and that fixed it, but it broke the "reply to" for incoming messages. Any insights from anybody?
    Thanks,
    RS

  • Freeview channels disappeared

Hello I wonder if someone can help to solve our problem.
My BT YouView box will not show any Freeview channels.
I have 4 TV's in the house and the BT YouView box is attached to the big TV in the lounge.
All the other 3 TV's have perfect Freeview reception so its not the Freeview coverage or reception into the house.
BT sent a man to set everything up because our BT line in and Infinity router is upstairs and the lounge, big TV and BT YouView box are downstairs, therefore I did not set it up and am not generally very good with televisions.
Where should I start to diagnose this problem?
We don't want to call BT support because when we had a problem with the remote, we were put through to an Indian call centre, both my husband and I spoke to the agent and they could not even understand what our issue was, what type of remote we had, let alone solve the problem. In the end I googled it and found the solution from a messageboard similar to this.
I am so fed up with only being able to watch recorded TV or the BT internet channels in the lounge.
    Please can you help us?
    Many thanks,
    Sarah

    Hi everyone - again!
So I have checked and we are using a Humax BTDT1000.
The software is the latest available and was updated on 15th August.
    Manufacturer software - 18.10.0
    Component software - 2.5.6
    Platform configuration - 1017
    ISP configuration - 90.
I have also found the YouView box  instruction manual and connected a 2nd aerial cable from the YouView box to the TV and have re-tuned the TV and hey-presto, the Freeview channels work on the TV. So the problem is with the BTDT 1000 BTYouView box.
Is there some way of fixing this?
Do I have to call the dreadful call centre?
Do I need a new box?
Please help as it's a complete waste of money as it doesn't even record the freeview channels so it's pointless.
    Many thanks,
    Sarah

  • Function Module where-used list does not find update rule programs

We have function modules called in update rules. The where-used list in the function builder does not find the update rule programs.
For example, function DATE_GET_WEEK is called in an update rule to InfoCube YCUBE001. The activated program name for this update rule is GP3PWI6PKM5Y3K75A370DIS8I77. When I goto SE37, enter the function DATE_GET_WEEK, click the where-used button, check the programs option and search. The system does not find the program GP3PWI6PKM5Y3K75A370DIS8I77.
Without this search capability it is difficult to do an impact analysis of changing function modules. Does anyone know of a solution?

    hi,
i think the reason is the code of update rules' generated program are stored line by line in table(rsaabap), update rules program itself stored in table rsupdrout, link with field codeid, another useful table is rsupdinfo which store infocube, infosource related.  other info may stored in some other rs* and rsa* tables.
try to create following program in your system, and run, type in the function module name, and will display out the update rules program id, with additional useful info : which infoprovider, infosource, and detail info of the routine and infoobject in the update rule that using that function module. you may modify the program to have better display out list.
    hope this helps.

  • Where-used list

    Hi,
After the upgrade from 46C to ECC 6.0 SR3, the where used list functionality does not work for some objects, while the same works in 46C. Any ideas? We are on Oracle 10.2.0.4.0 and solaris 10 in both environments.
    Thank You,
    Jiten

    Hi,
    from the upgrade guide....
6.13 Updating the Where-Used List in the ABAP Workbench
    Note:
    This action is optional.
As of Release 6.10, the where-used list for ABAP Dictionary objects and object types has changed. It
now has an index of its own. If you need a complete display of the where-used list in your SAP system,
you must recreate the index after the upgrade.
    Procedure
To create the index, you need to run report SAPRSEUB in the background.
    Note
As the runtime of the report may be quite long, we recommend that you run it in the development
    system only.
For more information about this report, see SAP Note 28022.
I suggest to you to run this program only in development system.
    Thanks.
    Kind Regards.

  • Where-Used List: Modifying SAP standard function module

    Hi,
We have decided to modify SAP standard function module SD_SCHEDULING. But before that, we need to understand what impact this modification will have in the system. We will also estimate the risks with this modification.
Therefore, I have taken Where-Used List for this function module. We are aware that this list is not comprehensive.
Do you know any other way we could use to understand better what impacts this kind of modification may have? My colleagues say that this is the only way.
Thanks in advance for your help.
    Regards,
    Jarmo Tuominen

    Hi Jarmo,
    Try this
1). Goto Se16 and check the contents of table 'CROSS'.
2). Enter 'F' in the first selection screen field
3). In the NAME field enter the Function module SD_SCHEDULING and execute.
4). The list will give you where all the FM has been used.
Kindly note this is almost the same as doing a where used list. The where used list will only work correctly if the 'Update Navigation Index' works correctly in your system. So just to ensure the result of your where used list you can follow the above steps. This does not require the Update Navigation Index.
    Hope this helps
    Cheers

  • "where used" list for query structures

    Hello Community,
A structure is a re-useable BEx query object. I'm using the older version of BW 3.5, and we need to be able to identify the following :
which structures have been used by a given query (using the query's technical name) ?
which queries already make use of a given structure (using the structure's technical name) ?
Any useful instructions would be so helpful.
    Thanks!
    Keith Helfrich

    Hi,
You can get the where used list of the structures bu checking in query designer itself for where used list.
Other option is : for both parts of your question you can get the infrmation from table RSZELTDIR.
Here you will get the ELTUID . To find the relation between ELTUID and query technical name (COMPUID), check the my wiki below for exploring the relations below:
