User can't see some OID entry from 3rd party ldap browser but OAM?

Hi All,
after tried to applied access control to some OID entry, user then can't see that entry from 3rd party ldap browster, and this is a expected behavior, but why the same user can see that entry from user management interface of OAM?

Hi Makson,
OAM's Identity Server binds to OID as a single user* (typically an OID admin, even orcladmin) and applies only those acl's that have been defined within OAM. So when you login to OAM as end-user X, the Identity Server (eg orcladmin) checks to see what rights within OAM have been defined for User X - but in this scenario any rights defined within OID are not applied to user X. By default, OAM end-users have no access to information in ldap (although the OAM Admins have full access by default).

We have 2 oracle10g database.
If I use Oracle Enterprise Manage(OEM), and login as user A, I can see all tables in both of 2 oracle10g database. but if I use SQL developer connecting with user A, SQL developer can see only part of tables ( about 1/2) in one database and all tables in another databse. I don't know why. but this two database has replication relationship. As I opinion, if I can see in OEM, I can also see in SQL developer.
anyway, I didn't apply filter. And my privilege is ok. Because I use below in user A:
select table_name from user_table. this select is only select the tables belong to user A, it has the same result with OEM.

All users can not see some of BPA 'free attributes' in process models

All,
We are using BPA 10134 to model processes.We have a very strange issue
When we login using a particular user from particular machine we can see following attributes for a human task
USer Attribute Text1
User Attribute Text2
User Attribute Text3
but when we login using other user, we could not see same attributes for process models
Anybody has any idea what are we missing ?

Some users can't see attributes in the Query Builder

Hi.
I have problem. Some users can't see some of attributes of info-object in the Query Designer. Where is the problem?

I think you would need to give more details on the problem,
as some users are not able to see some attributes.
Do they all share the same profile, what is the distinguishing thing among the some users who can see the attributes and the ones who cannot see the attributes.
Need to drill down further I guess.

The solution was to remove all versions of Acrobat Pro and reinstall Acrobat Pro XI. I still had the download file in my Time Machine backup. That's a good thing, since the download link from the order listing on the Adobe website under my account would not work.
The problems don't occur with version 11.0.0. I got the work done, now I'm updating to 11.1.0 and will report if they came back.

my total library is 680 mb, nowhere close to the 2.08 in the pictures folder. I am obviously messing up.
Actually you’re not.
The iPhoto Window reports the size of the library that would result if you exported all the current versions +and nothing else+ to a folder on the desktop.
The iPhoto Library Folder contains the Original, Modified and thumbnail versions of your pics. It also contains various cache and database files +all of which are necessary+ for the working of the Library.
Don't change anything in the iPhoto Library Folder via the Finder or any other application. iPhoto depends on the structure as well as the contents of this folder. Moving things, renaming things or otherwise making changes will prevent iPhoto from working and could even cause you to damage or lose your photos.
You can run a Library on an external disk:
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library Folder as an entity from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.

Hi,
Go to RSA3, put your extractor name and check if there is any selection field for order type, if it is there then simply put the required order type and check the data.
Otherwise you can simply put the document number with the required order type and check if the data is coming for that in RSA3 or not, if not then simply debug the extractor and check why it is not coming?
Finally you can have one more approach, simply extract all the data in Full load in infopackage then go to PSA table and there you can try to filter your records based on order type.

User can't see items to add to worksheet

I have a problem with some user who does not see any items from business area when trying to create workbook in Discoverer Dekstop.
Environment:
OD:XP Prof SP2
DB: Oracle XE 10.2.0.1.0 Production
Desktop Clinet 10.1.2.48.18
EUL Library 10.1.2.48.18
EUL 5.1.1.0.0.0
The testing scenario was:
created a user in Oracle XE and 4 tables imported in this schema, create joins, indexes... Created 5 users with select granted on this tables. Each user has his own EUL and all can work with no problems except one user. This particular user log into Discoverer Administrator and creates an EUL and Business area. But when the user logs into D.Desktop and tries to create a Workbook, at setp 2 of the Create Workbook wizard there are no items to add to the Worksheet. All the users have the exactly the same clients, privileges and were created in the same way. All off them can work normally in D.Administrator. Any ideas why this user can't see any items from BusinessArea?

You might get better luck if you post questions about Discoverer into the Discoverer forum: Discoverer where I am one of the principal answerers of questions.
With regards to this particular issue it sounds as though the user does not have the correct EUL setup inside Desktop.
To check and fix, use this workflow:
1. Log on to Discoverer Desktop
2. When prompted whether to create or open a workbook, click the Cancel button
3. From the toolbar, select Tools | Options
4. Click the EUL tab - it is the last one so you will need to scroll across
5. Look at the value for Default EUL
6. If it is not the one the user created, use thr drop-down to select the right one
7. Click the OK button
8. From the toolbar, select File | Connect to Database and reconnect
9. The user should be able to see the items now
When an EUL is created you have the option of creating a public or a private EUL. If any user creates a public EUL then all users will have access to that EUL but not to the business areas and items in that EUL, not at least until the owner grants access. New connections to Desktop will pick up a default EUL which will be one of the public EULs, and not always the EUL just created by the user on that machine.
Could this be the case with you?

Apple Mail isn't going to change the format of any of your attachments. it isn't going to corrupt them either.
Exchange is a transport protocol and server. The issue you describe is not related to Exchange.
There are many different versions of Microsoft Outlook in use and they all have e-mail bugs. Different versions have different bugs. Some Apple Mail hack to get around a bug in Outlook 2003 may cause the same message to be problematic in Outlook 2000. Fix them both and another issue will cause trouble in Outlook 2007. You can't fix this. Apple can't fix this. Microsoft can and has but that is irrelevant if your recipients are using older versions.
One specific problem is that Apple Mail always sends image attachments inline, as images, not as iconized files. You can change this with Attachment Tamer. Just be aware that use of this software will break other things such as Stationery. E-mail is just a disaster. To date, no one outside of Apple has ever implemented the e-mail standards from 1993. Apple has continually changed its e-mail software to be more compatible with the de-facto standards that Netscape and Microsoft have unilaterally defined and people documented as "standards" after the fact. The e-mail messages that Apple Mail sends are 100% correct and do not violate any of the original standards from 1993 or the Microsoft/Netscape modifications. The problem is entirely bugs and limitations in various versions of Outlook.

When I open some messages in Microsoft Outlook 2003 I can't see some parts of the message body. With Outlook Express is all ok. We use Sun Java(tm) System Messaging Server 6.2 (built Dec 2 2004) with Messaging Express as webmail.
The same problem is happening with Internet Explorer 6 and 7.
I don't know how to get out from this problem beacuse 50% of our users use Outlook Express or Microsoft Outlook.
Please help!

I can only see some of the info (e.g. the email Facebook gives you) for some friends in Contacts. I can see everything for others. Their b-days aren't listed in my Contacts (but these friends have their B-days on their profile on FB). Can anyone help?

I can only see some of the information of my Facebook friends in my Contacts. For example, a friend has a birthday today. I received an email that she and another friend have birthdays this week. I received a notification on my iPhone and iPad that her birthday was today. It was never displayed in my Notification Center or Calendar beforhand, like it's displayed for other friend's (for other friends, it's displayed in the Notification Center, with the Calendar icon, 1 day before). I looked at every setting I could think of and the Help pages on Facebook. Nothing is working. My friend with the birthday today has her birthday openly listed on her Profile information on her Facebook page. In my contacts, her Facebook email (the one Facebook assigns you when you join) is listed. However her picture and birthday are not listed. I displayed my Facebook Contacts only, and roughly 20 showed up and not the rest. It's like the devices are not recognizing those people and putting their information in the respective places. I have an iPad 3rd Gen, iPhone 5, and MacBook Pro (purchased in January 2013. I hope that helps) and ALL the software updates are current. Can anyone help? Also, my MacBook cannot access my Contacts from Yahoo. Despite my typing in the correct password repeatedly as well as deleting and adding the Yahoo account again. I have just downloaded itunes 10.6 and in the process my "podcast" option under library has disappeared! The files are still on my laptop. I can also see some of my recorded music in my itunes library but can play them - there is an exclamation mark next

Visibility of the Podcasts section is controlled from within the Edit > Preferences dialog.
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
Missing tracks
Typically this can happen because a file or folder is accidentally shunted to the wrong location. iTunes can also get confused if it expects to be talking to an external drive which isn't there. If will often reset the default media folder location and may have trouble finding files in the old folders.
Select one of your tracks that is missing in action. Press CTRL-I to Get Info. Cancel when asked to try to locate the file, then look at the location given on the summary tab. This where iTunes thinks the file ought to be? Now find out where it actually is. Post back the two locations for comparison. I should be able to give you some steps to reconnect everything once I can determine which of the things that might have gone wrong is most likely in your case.
When you get it all working make a backup!

We have experienced that a certain user can only see the public area of
a collaboration room although the user has member rights to see more
content.
We have tried to remove the user from the room and add him again. It
did not help.
Other users have been added before and after this user without problems.
What could be wrong with this user?

Interactive Users Can't See Business Rules

We have business rules for interactive users in planning. We had to do a refresh on the planning application to includesome members into the planning outline (members added usingHAL). After that the interactive users can't see the business ruleswhich they could see earlier to the refresh. Can some one help me on this please. This is a criticalissue. 

Issue resolved.... The issue was using the wrong password toenable HBR while regenerating the HSPJSHome.Properties file.
