User cannot retrieve data in app on local PC

A certain user cannot retrieve data in one application whilst being able to send data in that application. She can access the 'Finance' application, send data in that application and retrieve data but in another application, 'ICM', she cannot retrieve data whilst being able to send data in that application. The weird thing is that she can retrieve data on another PC in the same application (same ID). This means the problem of retrieving data only exists on that specific computer.
As the problem only exists on that PC I did the following:
- clear local application data (via eTools in BPC for Excel)
- make sure the BPC client on that PC works => all show OK in BPC Client Log.txt (after diagnostics)
But still no results so...
Any suggestions...anyone?

Can you try to clear "Local application information". Its in ETools--> Client Option.
then login using connection Wizard.

I erased some notes from Notes.app. I thought i could retrieve it from backups in time machine. I had a similar problem with iCal before. When I ask time machine to restore the data, it says it can't modify the app. So what good is backing up data to time machine if I can't get it back? Any suggestions will be appreciated. If you synchronize Notes with iCloud, open the iCloud preference pane and uncheck the box marked Notes. If you sync Notes with another mail service, disable that in the Internet Accounts or Mail, Contacts & Calendars preference pane. You may be warned that notes stored on the server will be deleted. If you trust your backups, confirm. Leave the window open.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item named "com.apple.Notes" selected. Quit the application if it's running. If you back up with Time Machine, enter it and select the snapshot from which you want to restore.
Log out or restart and empty the Trash.
Re-enable synchronization in System Preferences, if you disabled it.

Cannot retrieve data from PublishingPageContentOWSHTML in a Content Search Web Part

I tried to display the content of a page using Content Search Web Part, the page is stored in a Pages library and the content type is Article Page. When the data is retrieved in the Content Search Web Part, the page content mapping to PublishingPageContentOWSHTML
is empty, although other data, such as Title and Page Image, can be retrieved. It's very strange that I can do this work correctly for another CSWP web part, that page is stored in a Pages library in another subsite. Both of the CSWP web parts
are on the same publishing site.
Could everybody tell me what I was doing wrong? Thanks you very much in advance.

Hi Albert GSC, I had the same problem. I'm starting now with display templates and after including "'SecondaryFileExtension','ContentTypeId'" at the end of the mso:ManagedPropertyMapping section it worked.

Cannot Retrieve data from Information objects - BW

Hi all, I am having a problem with extract some data from BW.
I have a BW query that I was extracting some data. I could extract all level of the hierarchy. I mean, when I did a universe, it shows every dimention and information.
After create an universe and configured a connection, I did my report in WEBI and than a dashboard in xcelsius. I had to fix something in the universe and in the report, but sudenly the connection was down (I was doing a remote connection to the server). I don´t know why, my report couldn´t extract data from information, but only dimention.
I didn´t change the query and I have tryed to create another universe connection and new universe. I have tryed to create a new connection with another BW query too. The result was the same... No data from Information objects but only from dimention objects.
BO can´t extract (information objects) data from BW.
PS: I have stoped the services and started again twice.

Cannot retrieve data in all members of my distributed queue

I have a distributed queue with 3 members, queue member 1, queue member 2, and queue member 3.
I triggered 2 events separately to go to the distributed queue, and it was successful as the 1st event triggered went to queue member 1 (physical queue1 – located on server 1) and the next event sent on the next trigger went to queue member 2 (physical queue 2 – located on server 2).
The problem now is, after triggering a job that gets the event from distributed queue, only the event in queue member 1 was picked up. The job got completed without picking up the event in queue member 2 (different VM). The data in queue member 2 was left. The config file for the JMS Queue Connectivity may be seen below:

Note also that the connection factory is deployed to all managed servers as I could see the connection factory in the jndi tree of each managed server.
Our job was able to get data from each of the managed server, one by one. An example I tried is I placed an event in queue member 1 then triggered the job, then the data was picked up. Then next, I placed the data in queue member 2 (with no other data in queue member 1 and 3), then the data in queue member 2 was picked up after the job run, and same when placed only in queue member 3.
The main problem here is when there are data in all of the physical queues (queue member 1 to 3). As if the application is focused only to one physical queue, which shouldn’t be. Researching now how should it read all the members in the distributed queue.

A comma separated URL list helps a client setup its initial JNDI connection into the cluster - it doesn't directly control load balancing of future JEE EJB, RMI, or JMS calls. By default, for remote clients, JEE calls will automatically load balance a new direct connection randomly among all servers in the cluster, even if the initial JNDI URL only references a single server's address. It's actually not truly random, as there may be internal heuristics that effect the load balance decision, plus the behavior is actually tunable, but, for almost all use cases, its best to stay with the default behavior and think of it as effectively random.
WebLogic JMS load-balancing actually occurs at three layers: URL/DNS, "smart stub" connection creation (RMI, EJB, and JMS connection factory), and finally the distributed destination layers. For a full end-to-end explanation of load balancing at the different layers of the WL stack, I highly recommend the JMS chapter of the book "Professional Oracle WebLogic".
What's happening in your case is that JMS individual consumer always load balances to one particular queue member, and then sticks to that queue member for their lifetime. This is expected behavior for consumer load balancing, and is fully documented in the distributed destination documention of the JMS programmer's guide.
If you want to ensure full coverage of a distributed queue, in order of highest to lowest preference:
* Most highly recommend: Use a WL MDB or a 11gR1PS3 SOA Adapter (if you happen to be using Oracle's SOA layered product). These automatically ensure that all distributed queue members are serviced by at least one dedicated consumer.
* Ensure you have more sessions+consumers than queue members. Periodically refresh connections/sessions/consumers in order to ensure that newly started members are serviced even when all consumers are already connected (eg, code your clients to reconnect every few minutes).
* If your application is not performance sensitive, configure the "queue forward delay" setting on a distributed queue. Messages that are trapped on a queue member with no consumers for longer than this delay will be automatically forwarded a member that has consumers.
* Least recommended, very advanced usage only: Code clients to use the new 10.3.4 public "destination availability" extensions. These extension APIs provide a notification service for distributed destination member up/down events.

User cannot retrieve mail

I have a number of Windows users who are using pop to get their mail from my server.
One of the users has recently lost the ability to get their mail, they are continuously offered the password panel and then told their password is incorrect.
I have tried reconstructing their mailbox and even gone as far as removing their complete user account and setting up from scratch.
The only way they can currently get their mail is if I use the aliases and get the incoming mail for the user sent to another users account.
Any help would be appreciated

Try fully deleting the mailbox (WGM doesn't fully delete).
I'd recommend using SirAdmin (search and you'll find) or the instructions at:

Confirm you've deleted the user (SirAdmin or cyradm) and recreate.

Oracle ebs multiple concurrent, locks, user cannot connect to app.

We had experienced outage yesterday afternoon, Oracle EBS app users cannot log into the app. We noticed very high load 70-90% in Grid control, and multiple blocks, a rman job still running and one stats job running. However seems after killing a dbms_scheduler job of app report, we fixed the issue.
However this morning, we still see cpu load of 70% and on grid control concurrent locks and transactions all in huge red.
I would like all Gurus here help me to start how to diagnose in Oracle ebs.
I would like to start from very beginning.
Such as links I can read, what to look at inside the database? on hosts?

I think those sessions we killed are some inactive sessions hanging around since Feb. I am new to this company, so I am not really sure how those jobs started. but seems they scheduled through window control m, something like that.

Last night I digged into grid control, and moved the history data to the date/time of the incident.
and I found out a lot sql tuning advisors during the time being, and several queries showed up in the sql tuning advisor and it required tuning. explain plans shows they are doing quite a lot full table scans for some big tables . I will add a screenshot soon.
So I wonder if those are the main causes.

I would like to know how come there were sql tuning advisors running during times other than 22pm as scheduled auto job. So is that means whenever there is a issue query, the sql tuning advisor automatically kick in?
The advisor basically said need to rewrite the query to take advantage of the indice.

A table say T1 contains column like Emp_id,Code.
and there are several Code like C1,C2,C3.
Another table say T2 contains column like

I can only getting the column_name but cannot its value.

How to retrieve data from a jsp page

I have created a page with some text boxes, file, submit button. In my Ist jsp, i am dynamically add Text boxes and File (for Uploading).
In the 2nd jsp, i am used Jakarata FileUpload API. I am able to retrieve all data and files except that value of dynamicall added text boxes. That is, I cannot retrieve data from dynamically added text boxes.
Using Jakarata FileUpload API, i can retrieve values of form data using
getString() method.
I want to know that there is any way or method for retrieving form data values into String Array.

Use parseRequest(request) to get the file information as you already are doing. However, I dont know how you can use request.getParameter("textField1") to get the other fields from the page. My work-around is as follows:
Change your submit button to an ordinary button and add an onClick event to it. Then in the javascript function that supports the onClick, add the textField1 as follows:

Users cannot connect over SMB 10.10.1 server.app 4.0 and 4.0.3

I have an issue where users cannot connect to a server for files sharing over SMB.
Info:
All users on 10.10.1
2 Servers on 10.10.1
Server.app 4.0.3 but issue was also present using 4.0
SMB connection works when connecting to the OD Master
SMB does not work when connecting to the OD Replica ServerBut AFP works fine when connecting to the OD Replica Server.
I have destroyed and re-added the OD replica but that did not seem to help

I suspect the problem is to do with Kerberos and in relation to this server being an OD Replica.

I have the same problem although I upgraded from Lion Server to Mountain Lion Server. The error appears to go hand in hand with this error.

I'm sorry about your loss.
Are you trying to recover data from this iPad, or to set it up as new (erase everything on it, and simply use the iPad as if it were brand new as your new iPad)?
If the latter, you can place the iPad into recovery mode as shown here. You may have to try this several times:
