User cannot send large attachment from one computer but can send it from OWA and other computers

A user cannot send an email with a 22 mb attachment from a computer he uses occasionally, but he can send the same file from OWA at this desk and from outlook at his normal desk.
We've recreated his outlook profile and we've tried re-installing office. We've also tried a new install of windows, but to no avail. We even tried a different network port, but it just seems to be this computer.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Try compressing the file, will it be sent then?
Please also start Outlook in Safe Mode to determine if it's 3rd-party add-ins related:
Press Win + R and type “outlook.exe /safe” in the blank box, then press Enter.
If there’s no problem in Safe Mode, disable the suspicious add-ins to verify which add-ins caused this issue.

I don't see anything in Help that shows when you already have transfered all the files over. Why would it want to erase and sync when I already have all the music folder copied over? I didn't have an issue when I had another technician copy from one laptop to another. Home sharing is also on but not being recognized.

I suspect you only migrated the media folder instead of the complete working library. Either review the transfer process and copy over the entire iTunes folder from your old profile's music folder or see Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

I imported music from a CD into my compter at work and when I got home and went to my iTunes account none of the songs were in my library. I also noticed that on my Work computer there were a couple songs that I had to click on the little 'cloud' icon before I could listen to them (these were not songs I imported they were songs that were already in my library). Not sure if this makes semse...help.

Only if you have iTunes Match or of the computers are on the same local network.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup ( not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod/iphone/ipad: File>Transfer Purchases

I beleive that I found the solution in anoter post1 I will try when I will home:
"Since 2.0 streaming happens automatically if your computer is on and iTunes is running.
So, computer off = synced content on AppleTv.
Computer on, merged media list of synced and streamed content - AppleTv uses the synced content if available instead of streaming the same stuff.
Must say I preferred the original 'Sources' and found it more intuitive. other probably prefer the new system.
If you only see stuff that's synced you need to check that the box under Custom sync saying 'Show only the synced items on my AppleTV' isn't checked. (That's in iTunes Devices>AppleTV>Summary tab)."

I was having the same problem where only 1.7GB of 10GB of selected music would sync so I decided to start fresh. The following steps worked for me:
1. Open itunes and connect iphone 5 if not already. Uncheck all playlists, artists, etc. till nothing is checked to sync. Then uncheck the sync music box so that all music will be removed from the phone. Sync iphone
2. Eject device. Quit itunes (don't just close). unplug iphone.
3. Restart imac, macbook, or PC.
4. Restart iphone.
5. Now after power up, restart itunes then plug in iphone, check sync music and select music to sync. Sync iphone
6. It worked for me!!! Good luck.

I understand now the limitation of Mail--only one message goes to the outgoing server regardless of number of recipients, and the attachment is part of the message. Thanks again for your help.

Able to interact with a cRIO remote front panel from one computer but not another

I have a cRIO application that publishes a remote front panel for monitoring and control of the application. From one PC (Win7 & firefox) I can see, interact and control the cRIO through the published remote front panel. From a second PC, also Win7, I can see and monitor the cRIO's state, but the remote panel that is opened does not allow for any interaction and this is true whether I'm using IE, FF or Chrome as the browser. When either PC is connected to the cRIO, it is via a dedicated Ethernet link and only the cRIO and the one PC are on that network. For this two-device private network, the PC is always at address 192.168.1.1 while the cRIO always uses 192.168.84.199 (port 8000).
The firewall rules on both PCs are setup to allow all incoming and outgoing programs/ports/protocols to be used between these two IP addresses.
Both PC's have up-to-date LabVIEW development systems installed on them (which more or less guarantees they have the minimum require LV runtime needed to see and use a remote front panel).
What might be different on the PC that view but cannot interact with the remote panel?

As I tried to say in my original post, there was only one host physically connected to the private network at any given time (by virtue of the fact that the one Ethernet cable connection to the private network was being moved back & forth between the two hosts) so there was no way both hosts could be trying to control the cRIO at the same time. I even went so far at one point of restarting the cRIO while it was connected to the problem host to see if would render it functional, but it did not.
But I did not know that it was possible to do what you suggested, much less that there was a right-click context menu associated with a remote panel, so I tried it and it worked! Thank you!

Login to Mail from one computer but not another.

I'm actually posting this on behalf of a senior Gent. We can login to his account from his main computer but not from his 'new' laptop. I've been helping him set it up (win7).
Message says wrong password and try again in 15 mins.
I logged into my account on the laptop ok. Using Chrome. I appreciate info is a bit sparse but just wondered if this rings any bells. Router has been re-set. I'm just of to try it IE, though it shouldn't make any difference. Thanks!

Have you tried resetting the password. Thentry logging in with the laptop 1st and check over the webmail settings - I don't use BTs webmail since I thinks its er ... poor (to be polite) but a pwd reset and new login from a new device has been suggested elsewhere here.

Why does typing in "file:///Users/ (admin name)/Desktop" reveal contents of a personal nature from my computer? Can't anyone from any other computer get this info. from my computer by doing the same thing?

I'm concerned that if someone else on a different computer typed in this info. (only requiring my computer's user name) that he would have access to contents on my desktop. I am running Mac OSX 10.6.5.

If someone on another computer would type that address in the location bar that they would open a local page on their computer, but probably get an alert that the page doesn't exist because their user name is different. You can only access pages on another computer if a server running on that computer makes them available and then you need to use the http:// protocol. Using the file:// protocol will always be limited to the computer on which you issue the command.

Can't iTunes from one mac, but can from others

On my Mac Pro, when I go into iTunes, choose "multiple speaker", I get a list of the airport express devices in the house...but I cannot check the boxes next to any of them (except the computer). However, from my MacBook Pro, I can. I run SL, have repaired permissions, etc. I just can't choose to stream to any of the AE units. Suggestions?

Untrusted Connection error message on home computer, but can connect fine from work

I have been connecting to this site for a while without problems (an online gradebook for son's school), but yesterday when I tried to log in from home machine, I got the "This connection is Untrusted" error message. However, I was able to log in without a problem from work today, but having the same problem at home again. Is it an indication that my home connection is somehow compromised? How do I check? Other sites seem to working fine.

It is usually better to install missing certificates by visiting another website that sends them then by making an exception.<br />
You can check the certificate chain on the working computer by clicking the Site Identity Button (favicon) on the location bar > More Information > View Certificate > Details and export missing intermediate certificates and import them on the other computer.
You can remove exceptions on the Servers tab in the Certificate Manager.

HP 722C prints blank pages from Word 2010 But can print successfully from Internet Explorer 9

I installed the patch from HP for my printer. I can print successfully from IE 9. However, blank pages are all I get when printing documents from Microsoft word 2010. My operating system is Windows 7 64-bit. home premium I do not get any error messages when printing. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I still cannot print from Word 2010. I can print from Adobe reader. I did uninstall and reinstall Office 2010. I still cannot print from Word 2010.

Problem with SMTP from one computer but not another

I have an iMac connected directly to my network via Ethernet and a MacBook Pro which connects via wireless. I have a program installed on my iMac that sends me alerts via e-mail, and it works just fine. When I try and use Mail, however, on my MBP with the exact same settings and credentials, it fails. To make this even more perplexing, Mail works fine from my office on a different network.
To work around this, I use Comcast's SMTP server on my laptop, but why would my regular e-mail provider's SMTP work on one machine and not another on the same network? The only difference is one is connected via Ethernet and the other by wireless.
I use a Time Capsule as my router and wireless access point. Has anyone got an idea about what's causing this?

Please report the relationship, if any, of the "regular e-mail provider's SMTP" and your ISP? If Comcast is your ISP, they regularly block use of Port 25, but if you have selected Use Default Port in Mail Preferences/Accounts/Account Information for the Outgoing Server, then it may be making the wrong choice to work with Comcast. Regardless of the ISP, for this regular account click on the arrows beside the name of the SMTP, choose Edit Server List, then click on the Advanced Tab that will then be seen and choose Use Custom Port, then enter the proper port directly -- that port is probably Port 587, but that could depend on the advisory of the email provider for using their SMTP.
