User Creation in ORM from OIM
Hi,
I am trying to Integrate ORM and OIM in order to do the rolemanagement and provisioning. In my enviornment I am able to move the roles from ORM over to OIM as groups.
But when I creating the users in the OIM, it does move over to the ORM but insted of getting created in the Organization that I had choosed on the OIM side, it gets created in the "Unassigned Organization" on the ORM. Has any one come across this issue, please let me know, what I need to do in order to fix this issue.

Go to Rule Designer and create general rule like Role==Consultant.
It can be anything.
Go to Group > Manage > Select ur gorp > Drop down > Select membership rule > Select ur Rule created.

YJRThat is not the log output of the OID connector. Check the connector docs, and enable the OID logging only. The INVALID_NAMING_ERROR means something is wrong with the naming of your object. Most likely there is an LDAP error output somewhere, but all the output you provided is info level, nothing wrong with it.

I am new in oim and i am getting popup error message for user creation from OIM application after oim and oid intregation through libovd.
Error message : LDAP create event failed : orclguid attribute has duplicate value.
please guide me for resolving error.

Date parse error while importing users from OIM to OIA (SRM 5.0.3)
Hi All,
Env Details:
OIA (SRM 5.0.3), Weblogic and Oracle 10g DB
We have integrated OIM to OIA with extended attributes mapping by modifying iam-context.xml file to load users. Its done successfully. But when we map "Date" related attribute, its giving "Date Parsing error" and its not loading the users.
We have tried loading users using flatFile mechanism, its also giving same result.
Please suggest me. Thanks in Advance !!!

Its a problem with OOB's OIMIAMSolution.class file, which is called while importing users from OIM. It used DateParse () conversion method only for all attributes which OIA attributes' name is ends with "Date". It defined, the conversion of date from (yyyy-MM-dd). So its expecting the input value should be in defined format(yyyy-MM-dd), if not, it gives a parse error.
We found work around for this as follows,
We have used other related OIA attribute which name ends other than "Date" string.

Provisiong of users from OIM to Exchange Server 2007
Hi,
I am trying to Provisioning the users from OIM 9.1.0.1 to Exchange server 2007. For this i used Exchange Server Connector 9.1.1.1.0. By using AD_Base_connector 9.1.1.0.0 i can
provisioned the user details. But while provisioning to the Exchange server 2007 i am getting the following error
ERROR [XELLERATE.WEBAPP],Class/Method: tcLookupFieldAct ion/lookupByColumn encounter some problems: lookup Error in OIM
And i am unable to get the LookUp detais for the MailBox in Design Console as well as in the ScheduleTasks in OIM Admin Console..
Can anybody help me in solving this issue.

OIA-OIM Integration, Error while trying to import users from OIM to OIA

I have used depreciation method to integrate OIA 11gR1 with OIM 9.1.0.2 BP13.

KalyanI solved the above error by removing oscache***.jar file and keeping only oscache.jar in lib directory.

i noticed that for any user i create on OIM objectGUID is 0 , i can read groups and organizations from LDAP with no errors
please supportThis issue is coming because your object guid is not getting synchronized properly. Login to design console and open AD User form. Go to pre-populate tab. Open prepop adapter for User Principal name. Here bydefault IT resource name passed is Active Directory whereas you should have your IT server name which I think bydefault is AD Server. In the Mapto section select Process data and qualifier field will have AD server. Click on save button. Save your form.
Retry your test case now. This will resolve your problem.

I am trying to setup provisionig from OIM to AD. I just want to provision Users from OIM to AD.
I am going through this documentation/tutorial:

But it just won't work. The provisioned resource get's always status rejected in the (To-Do List --> Open Tasks).

I get this on the Task Name - Create User:

But i can't get to populate the Organization Name on the user form, because there are no values available.

Provisioning a user in MSAD from OIM
Hi all,
I am trying to provision a user from OIM to MSAD through direct provisioning. After performing the steps for provisioning, i get the status of create user as rejected and the task is asssigned to xelsysadm for approval though it is direct povisioning.
Please help me to know why the user is not gettin provisioned in MSADhi Rajiv,

i have run the AD Organisation lookup Recon and have given the following parameters
Lookup Search Filter: (|(objectclass=OrganizationalUnit)(objectclass=container))
Search Base: DC=<domain_name2>,DC=<domain_name1>,DC=com
Recon Type: Update
IT Resource Name: ADITResource
AttrName For Decode Value In Lookup: distinguishedName
AttrName For Code Value In Lookup: distinguishedName
Lookup Code Name: Lookup.ADReconciliation.Organization
Configuration Lookup: Lookup.AD.Configuration
But still theres no value for Organisation Lookup in process form for provisioning the user. what could be the cause for the same?
Also i was testing if the connector is installed properly by using the testing utility. i used the following command to run it : . runADtest.sh 2
But i got the following error.

Problem in setting user end date from oim to account expiry date in AD process form
Hi all,
i am updating the user end date from oim to user account expiry date in ad process form using oim api.
i am able to get the end date value from oim but when i am setting it using api it through exception but all other attribute i am able to update in process form.
i am facing the problem only with end date field because of different date format in OIM and AD .
so please suggest me what are date format in Active Directory and how can i change the oim date format to Active directory time format in in my java code.Thanks for the reply.
But all iplanet users need not contain end date attribute, and its an update on existing user.
Can you please ellaborate more on Transformation class..?? example should be helpful. -
How to delete Users or Organinzations from oim
Hi,
I have deleted some users as well as organizations in OIM, and I got the message that they are successfully deleted.
But when I try to reconile the same user from csv file using GTC connector or create the deleted organization from OIM I am getting the Error that user already exists and Organization cannot be created
Do we have a way to completely delete the users or organizations
Please help meThis may be due to user logins are same for deleted user and newly coming user. Go to system properties and reuse use login property to true and retry reconciliation.
Else
You can remove from database but it'll be tedious as you would need to delete all reference as well.
