User Credential Missing

I have a 1721 with a 6509 attached to its ethernet port and another 1721 attached to its serial port via a T1 line. It fails with a Username Credential Missing. Protocol not Configured error when I do a Ciscoworks Device Center Management task of Check Device Credential. The 1721 attached to its serial port via a T1 line passess the Check Device Credential task. I can do the Management Station to Device to it testing Telnet and it passess. I have a Credential Set that I created and used to Overwrite All Device Credentials for both 1721 devices. I can manually log into the failing 1721 using the same Passwords that I have set in the Primary Credential. I have the same problem on 2 other 1721 routers. I have 47 other Cisco devices that i8t works on but I can not get it to work on 3 of my 1721 routers. I narrowed it down to this problem when these three 1721 routers started to fail their configuration archive with Failed to establish Telnet connection.

TACAS in not enabled for any cisco devices I have.
Attached is a zip file with some snap shots of the problem I am having.
Document1 is a trace of a Management Station to Device working on 1721 router that fails the Check Device Credential task.
Document2 is the Packet Capture running on the 1721 failing the Check Device Credential task as you can see no 0 bytes are transferred.
Document3 is Check Device Credential task job details failing on 1721.
Document4 is a trace of the 1721 attached to the serial port of the failing 1721 via T1 line passing the Check Device Credential task.
Hope this makes sense to you on how I am telling you this. I am trying to show that I can communicate with the failing 1721 but not able to Check Device Credentials on it while I can Check Device Credentials on other 1721 routers I have including the one that is on the remote end of the failing 1721.
Why is there no communications at all to the failing 1721 when doing the Check Device Credential task on it?

I recently updated my "FIOS remote" app on my iPhone and started getting 'Invalid User Credential' when checking my DVR in the app or the TV listings, also wasnt able to submit feedback.
TheAbout screen says I'm using "Verizon FIOS mobile remote version 3.1.56 build number 16"
I called Verizon support who helped me.
The fix: Open a browser and go to www.verizon.com/fiostv/web and logon.
Feedback in the app still doesn't work so I thought I'd post this here for others. By the way, I think a 100 character limit is too small for feedback.

Hi, I know that app requires that you are connected to the wifi in your home and not on the iphone's 3g. If you have verified that you are on the Actiontec WiFI (not a second router's wifi) and that your login is correct at all those sites, then you might need to email the dev from the apple store. It gives you a link to email them there.

SSO is not working - User is missing credentials for connecting to alias

Dear Experts,
I am facing a strange problem in SSO with reference system user mapping. I have configured reference system user mapping for accessing R/3 for ESS/MSS and transactional iviews along with UWL. The SSO was configured 2 months ago and was working fine till yesterday.
Since this Monday, (2 days), the system connection tests are failing on connector. But, ESS/MSS & Transaction iviews with SAP Logon tickets are working fine. But, while trying to access UWL tasks, SSO is failing. Following is the error message -
"Exception occured Exception type:com.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl.connect.ConnectorException Message:Tue Aug 11 09:46:58 CEST 2009
(Connector) :com.sap.portal.connectivity.destinations.PortalDestinationsServiceException:User is missing credentials for connecting to alias <Aliassystem>. Contact your system administrator. "
I have created a destination for the respective backend in Visual Admin > node > services > Destinations as some tasks are not visible in UWL as per Note- 1133821, 2 weeks ago.It was working fine till yestreday. While testing from destinations, for Connected User(SAP Logon ticket Assertion ticket) , getting the error message -
Error During ping operation:Ticket contain no/an emplty ABAP user id(refer note 1159962). The destination is successfully connected with configured user.
But from the Tracecollector logs, I can see that the mapped user is set in the SAP Logon ticket and the User <ABCD> is existing in the target ECC system. More over, the SSO with refence system user mapping is working fine for ESS/MSS and Transaction based iviews. It is failing only for UWL tasks and also in system connection tests for connector. ITS was failing since the beginning.WAS is successful even now.
Trace file info -

Can you pls advise where to look for fixing the SSO - missing user details for UWL destination?

User Data Missing

HI All,
I imported the role from the SAP environment using the CMC and now I can see the roles created as group in the BO envirionment, however the users are missing and have not been imported.
Do I need to follow some other process to achieve the user import?
One more quesry, why do we need to import the mentioned transport in SAP Basis environment. Is it for achieving the single sign-on?
Please note I am on 64 bit windows 2003.

How to pass current user credential for PAPI service execution

Hi All,
As per my requirement I am using the SAP ME PAPI WS to start the SFC. I have used the SAPME PAPI Interface action block in ME within BLS and searched the service and operation also. Required input parameter mapping is also done and I have successfully executed the BLS and SFC is started in ME. In SAPME PAPI Interface action block I have used Credential alias which is standard configuration in MEINT for user MESYS.
Now what I have seen is that, in ME the SFC is started by user MESYS. But I want to pass the user who is currently executing. Is there any way to pass the current user credential or session for executing the PAPI service. My final target is to use the BLS in IRPT through Xacute query.

Hi Sergiy,
It is only required for Sfc Start operation. It is a generic requirement for all PAPI WS. User ref is not available for all services. I have taken sfc Start operation as an example. But for complete SFC operation there is no user ref. in Request structure. Then what would be our generic way to execute it through current user credential.

different JVM and different thread. However, for the same thread within
same JVM, weblogic only keep on user credential in the EJBContext. So,
is there any way or any API for me to query the JVM and thread that
carries the user credential? My purpose is to prevent second login from
the same JVM in the same thread.

I've installed Oracle Secure Backup 10.2 on a RHEL 5 system, on which I'm running Oracle 11g R1. I think I've set things up correctly, including adding preauthorized access in OSB to the 'oracle' user, and creating a storage selector. When I use EM to run a test tape backup, I do see a job get started in the OSB web interface's Home page under Active Jobs.
But the job reports many instances of:
"undefined user or missing login token'
and the rest of the error message is unhelpful jibberish. This message isn't mentioned in the documentation, and the documentation doesn't help me understand what/where the user is missing from.

Cisco Works Enable username credential missing

I have tried to deploy a configuration out as well as running a Device Credential Verification Job and they both fail because of "Enable username credential missing." I can not seem to pin point the problems because there is no place to add this, also our switches do not asking for a username while going into enable mode. Would TACACS+ have anything to do with this?

Apologies for resurrecting this old thread... I have found myself in a similar situation. And I have run a wireshark capture to review the entire telnet session. Obviously I am using generic passwords here, but this what I get when I follow the TCP stream. And yes, I did indicate that this is an IOS device, not CatOS (which is why I'm confused about that "set" command).

And Ciscoworks still reports "Enable username credential missing" even though the switch is obviously in enabled state.
Needless to say I'm trying to push the upgrade to NCS, but it's kinda difficult when the existing installed software isn't working as advertised.

User credential permissions

Added a ADDSForest using Powershell.
Trying to add a ADDSDomainController with Powershell but I get this error:
"Verification of user credential permissions failed."
There must have been something wrong with:

Passing user credential to Adapter

hi Experts,
I am using applicationi adapter 11gps6 for sap and siebel with osb11g, I wonder if I can pass user credential from osb to sap or siebel? From the online doc, seems only configured user(static user) can be passed, but what I need is "pass through" whatever username that has been authenticated by osb, change to another word, the username must be dynamic(osb and sap/siebel could share the same id store, like ldap).
Is this possible?

I haven't done this at all but, just a thought... have you checked that the user that comes back from your realm.newUser() call is valid? Have you tried other User methods like: getInfo() or getName() or toString().
The only other thought I had was that you are taking a BasicRealm and casting it to a ManageableRealm. Even though this is valid Java code, maybe it doesn't actually work correctly? Have you tried any other ManageableRealm methods? The hierarchy is:
BasicRealm
- ListableRealm
- ManageableRealm
Maybe try some methods form ListableRealm to see if they work, like getUsers() or getAcls().

Pause for user click missing after Seamless Tabbing fix.

I am upgrading a project from Captivate 5.0 to 5.5. Two of the lessons that worked fine in 5.0 have problems in 5.5. Both lessons use the Tab key to move from field to field in a data row and then the Enter key to calculate at the end of the row. This worked fine in 5.0. In 5.5, pressing Tab caused jump to browser address window. I searched blog and found following solution to add:    so.addParam(seamlessTabbing:, :false:);        to the htm file generated when publishing the file. This is not a desirable solution for long term course maintenance, but it did work. Unfortunately a new problem then appeared. The project moved ahead without waiting for user input in the simulation exercises.
For slides with click boxes using Tab shortcut key and no other interactive objects, the movie just skipped ahead without waiting for user click. I would like the project to pause until the user presses the Tab key and then move to the next slide. The properties for the click boxes are:
Action:
On success: Go to the next slide
Attempts: Infinite
Allow mouse click - yes
Shortcut: Tab
Options:
Captions: Failure only
Others: Pause for Success/Failure Captions and Pause project until user clicks
Timing:
Display for: Rest of slide
Appear after 0 seconds   (I have played around with this setting, but it does not seem to make a difference.)
For slides with Text Entry, the failure captions display before the user has a chance to input anything. Sometimes the captions flash several times at random. I would like the failure captions to only display when the user enters an answer that does not match the stored answers. The properties for the text entry boxes are:

Validate User Input - checked
Var Associated: Text Entry Box ## (## changes from slide to slide)

To test whether it was something I was doing in the editing, I went back to the original 5.0 version of the lesson and imported into 5.5 again and published without doing any editing. The lessons that worked fine in 5.0 did not work in 5.5. Then I tried replacing all the click boxes with new ones created in 5.5. That did not work. I tried adjusting the timing. That did not work. For the text entry boxes, I tried using Show Button, creating transparent button with Tab shortcut. That did not work. Several of these suggestions were ones that I found elsewhere in the Blog with similar but not identical problems. I never found a problem that combined the seamlessTabbing with the missed pauses.
I am puzzled and frustrated that these lessons that worked fine in 5.0 don't work in 5.5. Our primary edit is only to update the screen images and add a few new fields. I would often reposition an object on the slide, but not change its properties. Since most of the lessons are working fine in 5.5 and only these two that heavily use the Tab key are not working in 5.5. I don't really have the option of going back to 5.0. I need to put them in an aggregator and they all need to be the same version.
Is there a patch or a quick fix? Also, can the patch to the htm file be built in or is that what is causing the problem? For future course maintenance, it will be complicated to have to treat these two lessons specially. Also, we usually link to the swf file and not the htm file. Our users often use browsers other than Internet Explorer.

It would seem Intego Virus Barrier X6 has an intermittent habit of putting the IP address of Apple TV into the Blocked Addresses list despite having checked the 'Trust Apple TV' box and inputting the address into the Trusted Addresses list. Over the course of less than a year this has occurred approximately 4 times to me. My last variation on getting to the root of the problem was to lock the settings with the padlock. I will monitor the situation and should it happen one more time will notify Intego of this 'bug'.

System and User Statuses Missing

Hi All,
Does anyone know what causes the system and user statuses to disappear on the main screen of the production order. Normally we see all system statuses and the current user status like this:

Some configuration must have changed because even though the statuses are in JEST, they are not displayed on the order.

Just a different thinking to see, whether we can get some clues.
I would suggest you get into the order in the change mode, try some minor changes may in terms of operation text etc...and try to save the order. if there are some missing stuff, I am sure now SAP would throw out the error lets take the leads from there on.

User Guide missing from downloads

I've noticed that the User Guides are now missing from the downloads for various models. Is there a reason for this ? Although you can still retrieve them via Google, I was just easy finding them on the download page.

Apps user name missing from login

Hi:
I'm using iStudio and trying to create a Common Data Type based on an Oracle Applications table. When the login window appears, the username field is blank and grayed-out, and I can not enter any value, including the username "APPS". When I enter a valid password and connect information, I receive "invalid arguments in call". I'm guessing this is due to the missing username.
Can anyone help with this? How do I get the Apps username to appear?

Have a looking at your respository.ini file and make sure the "OWNER" field is not set to blank or a different user schema name.
If the OWNER field is set to Blank or a different user schema it automatically set the repository to read only.
