User defined color libraries

Hi,
I've created 2 Color Libraries (un RGB and one CMYK) with my company's corporate colors, so that when I need to create something new I just open the library and the colors would be set (which, as I understand, that's the purpose of the libraries) but every time I open them to create a new file, the swatches have changed a few numbers, both in the RGB and the CMYK libraries.
I don't understand why this happens and it is really annoying as I'm trying to make everyone follow the corporate colors.
Does anyone know why could this be happening? Is there a specific way I should be creating/saving the libraries?

Hi, thanks but that's not the problem. I understand there are two different modes and I've created two different libraries (one RGB for the RGB document and one CMYK for the CMY document); the problem is that the values of the swatch change a few numbers every time I open the document.
Fx.
If I'm supposed to have a corporate blue RGB 0-134-191, the next time I open an RGB document the values have changed to 0-143-189...
The same happens with all the colors in both RGB/CMYK documents.
As you may understand it is very important that the values are the same as it is time consuming to change them every time we create a new document, and as they are corporate colors, minimum variations affect a lot.

Using tags is a great way to stay organized. I use this feature quite a bit. I've linked to an article which explains how to use and edit them:

Edit tags
In the Finder, choose Finder > Preferences, click Tags, then do any of the following:
See a tag in the Finder sidebar: Select the blue checkbox to the right of the tag.
Change a tag color: Click the color next to the tag , then choose a new color.
Change a tag name: Click the tag, click the tag’s name, then enter a new name.
Create a new tag: Click Add .
Delete a tag: Select the tag, then click Remove .
Add a tag to the shortcut menu: Select the tag in the list, then drag it over the tag you want to replace in the favorites section at the bottom of the window. There can be up to seven tags in the shortcut menu that appears when you Control-click a file.
Remove a tag from the shortcut menu: Drag the tag out of the Favorite Tags section until you see a puff of smoke.

Hi,
Take a look at this example, it uses property nodes to select tha
active plot and then changes the color of that plot.
If you want to make the number of plots dynamic you could use a for
loop and an array of color boxes.

You can use a vignette node in the ColorFX room with an Alpha Blend. Connect the Vignette node to the Alpha channel, the effect you want on the outside of the vignette to source 1, and the inside effect to source 2.

Where does Designer stores user defined custom colors?

Everytime I restart Designer, all my custom colors are reset to white. Which is pretty annoying. So I want to export them to a file at least.
I figured, that user defined custom colors in Windows are stored in the Registry in:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Custom Colors]
or alternatively in:
[HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Colors]
But apparently they are not. Changes made to the custom color palette in Designer are not stored in the registry. Those values still remain FFFFFF.
Does anyone know, where Designer stores user defined custom colors? Is there a 'secret' undocumented .ini-file I missed?

Color User-Defined Variables

Yesterday I started using user-defined variables in one of my
projects and whenever I inserted a variable, it was green, which
was great because I could easily identify them as variables. Today
I opened my project, and noticed that the variables are all normal
colored text. Is there a way to get them to be colored
again?

How to import User-Defined Libraries to ODI?

Hi All,
I am trying to execute Java programs using ODI. There are many User-Defined classes imported in the programs.
I have these User-Defined classes in JAR form.
My ODI is setup on a linux system.
So, where should these JAR files be uploaded in the system so that it can be imported in the Java programs?
Please help me in resolving this issue.

My ODI is installed on a linux system and I am using it on my desktop through a remote desktop connection.
I connect to it using Tarantella account. Here I have to create a session and a view to use the ODI.
So, when I am looking in the linux system for the <ODI_HOME>/oracledi/drivers folder, I am finding a lot of them.
So, Please help me in locating the exact one where I need to put the JAR files.

Error in User defined function

I have created a user defined function to make a call to SAP using JCo.
But I am getting an error "package com.sap.mw.jco does not exist"
Do we need to install JCo on our server?

if you use XI3.0 then you should check csn note 753294:
Symptom
A message mapping contains a user-defined function that uses a class
from the "com.sap.mw.jco", "sapxmltoolkit" or "com.sap.tc.Logging"
library. An error stating that the source code contains syntax errors
occurs when you test or activate the message mapping. When you use a
class from "com.sap.mw.jco", the system reports, for example, "package
com.sap.mw.jco does not exist".
This error only occurs in systems containing a Support Package lower
than 5.
Solution
Import Support Package 5 or higher.
You can use the following workaround as a short-term solution: Upload
the library that is referenced in the message mapping into the software
component of the message mapping as an "imported archive". Do not
activate the "imported archive" with the library since it is not needed
for the runtime. The only purpose of the archive is to allow the message
mapping to be compiled. To avoid version conflicts with newer libraries,
you should delete the archive again after you import Support Package 5
or higher.
In your case you will find the relevant jar file in the path
[sap_j2ee_engine_installaltion_path]\cluster\server0\bin\ext\com.sap.mw.jco\jrfc.jar

User defined function error in Labview mathscript

I m Labview 2011 user. I had a problem when i use a user defined func in mathscript.
I have used it well, but it doent work suddenly. It looks like below.
function name turned to grey color suddenly. Plz help me.

The last time I dealt with this, it was very confusing. If I remember correctly, there were 3 different places that I had to set the correct search path for the .m file:
1) Tools>Options>MathScript
2) In the Project, right-click on My Computer and select Properties>MathScript
3) Tools>MathScript Window>File>LabVIEW MathScript Properties
The documentation seems to indicate that at least 1 and 2 should be the same and 3 only applies to that window, but like I said, last time I did this I remember having to change all three.

Accessing User Defined Types

We have recently updated our libraries to the latest version (2.102.2.20) - and have lost access to the critical objects and methods that were accessing our User Defined Types on Oracle.
In particular, this code:

simply doesn't work anymore. The 'OracleUdtDescriptor' and 'OracleArray' references no longer exist. This has brought all development on a critical application to a halt. (Doesn't it always.)

Here's what I was referring to... say you wanted to execute the same procedure from PLSQL via an anonymous block. Execute the same anonymous block via ODP.NET.
Here's a simple dumb example that passes an object type to a stored procedure, hope it helps. Hokey example, but hopefully points out what I was trying to say.

Accessing a user defined library - CLASSPATH

Hi all
First I will tell you what I have implmented, then I will discuss the problem.
My PATH (user variables) is set to c:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0\bin and everything works
fine - I can compile and run from any directory.
When I open a shell (cmd.exe) my current working directory is:
C:\Documents and Settings\Paul Gain\Desktop>
I have a file in the same directory called Test.java
Here it is:

The package "pack" resides at C:\pack
There are two files within "pack" one is called ClassPathTest.java
and the other is called ClasspathTest.class
Here is the code:

Obviously this program is nonsense, However, I want to find out
how to access a user defined library of classes that is in a seperate directory.
When I compile from the desktop with the command: javac Test.java
The compiler complains, here is the output:
C:\Documents and Settings\Paul Gain\Desktop>javac Test.java
Test.java:1: package pack does not exist
import pack.ClassPathTest;

Test.java:7: cannot find symbol

If I cut and paste "pack" into the desktop directory everything works as expected.
Because of this I believe the problem lies with the CLASSPATH of "pack".
I have tried all sorts of variations of CLASSPATH but to no avail.
for example under "system variables" in environment variables I have
used the following:
.;C:\pack
Which says look in the current working directory first and then in pack. But
that does not work (and yes I close the current shell and open a new one).
Once the CLASSPATH is set .;C:\pack and I compile again the compiler
moans and gives me this:
C:\Documents and Settings\Paul Gain\Desktop>javac Test.java
Test.java:1: package pack does not exist
import pack.ClassPathTest;
^
Test.java:7: cannot access ClassPathTest
bad class file: C:\pack\ClassPathTest.class

Obviously I am doing something wrong, can somebody please help me as I do not wish

If you are currently in Desktop, you need your classpath to be:
.;C:\The "pack" package lies in "C:\"
If you are anywhere else, you need:
"C:\Documents and Settings\Paul Gain\Desktop;C:\""Test" lies in the first part, and the "pack" package still lies in "C:\".

Tabbed navigation,Theme change and User define templates problem

Hi,
·     I have created an application in which I have defined many page,page regions,buttons,forms templates myself.
·     The end user has now requested for a tabbed look and feel for the same and that too in a different theme (color red)
·     However, inclusion of tabs to the application plus a change in the theme color (to red) in this case causes all user defined templates to behave erratically.
·     I guess these templates will have to be redefined in this new theme. I tried to copy some of these today but got weird results.
Without all these templates in place the look and feel of the application will not be as usual.
·     Also,I had posted a thread on the APEX forums concerning tabs and have received information that each page in the application has to be manually added to the tab set in a situation such as this.This will really increase the time taken to achieve the desired application navigation.
I would appreciate some good advice as how to get this appliction navigation running smoothly in a tabbed format in the least possible time.

I would have a look at the Lists in Shared Components which allow you to create Tabs as well.
They are a bit more flexible.

Modify the New Document Profile you use the most to reflect what you want it to contain or just make a new document with all the stuff and save it with a distinct name to the New Document Profiles folder in your user profile.

I don't think you can disable the min max button, but you can just remove them
