"User Details" don't get updated

Hi,
we have strange phenomenon that after editing user details like contact information etc. the User Details page in collaboration is not showing anything of the new data. Even an inkremental Index-Update has no effect on this - whereas in UME the new data is shown properly!
Can somebody give a hand on this issue?!

Hi,
You need to check first that the "Room Content Location" of the room.You need to modify the details of the user on the same node mentioned in "Room Content Location".If you modify the details in some other node it won't get reflected in the team room's contact information.
For eg:- If the "Room Content Location" for a particular team room is UK Portal node then we need to modify the user details from that node only.If we try to modify them from any other node the change won't get reflected.

I recently got a new PC and installed the Tungsten E2 software on it. When I synchronise, everything works well, I get no error or anything, but my outlook meeting updates don't get updated on the palm. Contacts etc worked fine.
Does anybody have any idea what I can do to resolve this?

None of the new events come over to the E2 and vice versa. When I checked the log recently, there is no log about outlook synchronisation at all. The device mentions OK for Documents To Go, Expense, Quick Install, Note PAd,Media and Back up. That's it.
Nevertheless also outlook synchronisation is asked for in the settings on the PC.

CCS Details are not getting updated to COPA in Sales Order Settlement(VA88)

Dear Experts,
Our scenario is MTO with valuated material.
1. Production order is tagged to Sales Order.
2. Production order is settled to Material and variance is getting posted to COPA.
3. At the time of Delivery, COGS Debit (Cost Object- Sales Order), Credit - Inventory.
4. At the time of Billing, Accounting Document is getting generated, COPA document is not getting generated.
5. We are not executing WIP. (as per Business process)
6. Settlement is done thru transaction code VA88. COPA Document is getting generated.
I am facing the following issues in the above MTO process.
1. At time of sales order settlement thru VA88, In COPA, only COGS is getting as updated with one value field i.e. Material Cost. Cost Component data (Material Depreciation, Labor etc..) is not getting updated to COPA.
2. When I settle the Sales Order thru VA88, Billing Quantity is not getting updated to COPA though Quantity field mapping is done properly.
Please help me how to resolve the above issues.
Note: Same Cost Component Structure, we are using for Make to Stock scenario. Cost Component Data is getting updated Properly to COPA (at the time of Billing)

1. CCS (Cost Comp Split) wont be updated to COPA if you settle via sale order.. In sale order, COGS cost element is posted.. the same will get settled to COPA as one single value...
In MTS, the CCS gets updated to COPA upon billing because of the "valuation" strategy customization... Billing posts to COPA in that case, COPA gets Sales Qty and it is valuated with CCS to give you the break up.. But, in your case, Billing is not posting to COPA, but to sales order.. hence, there is no qty flow into COPA upon billing.. thats why you dont get CCS for MTO
2. The sales qty should be updated to COPA upon VA88.. For this, make the following settings in your PA transfer structure which is used during VA88
1. Go to KEI1, Select your PA transfer structure...
2. Add an assignment line in it... Check on "Qty Billed/Delivered" in the assignment line
3. In the Tab "Value Field" below "source", assign Qty Field
Now when you settle, it should update qty as well

Z fields don't get updated in delivery enhancement

Hi,
I have a requirement to create some Z fields into VL02N and VL03N in a new custom tab.
The tab was created, the 3 new fields are being shown (it's created a new subscreen 9000) and its corresponding fields were created in LIKP.
However, when the Delivery is saved, the information from the new fields are not being updated in the database.
I've implemented method IF_EX_LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC-SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE from BAdI LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC to perform some data manipulation before saving.
CT_XLIKP gets updated accordingly when we change a standard field. But the Z fields doesn't get updated on that.
Anyway, I know I should populate the structure CT_XLIKP in order to save into LIKP, but how should I do to retrieve the data from the fields in order to do that?

Yeah, I think it became a bit strange.
I needed to create the 3 fields only for display information (even in VL02N) because we have interfaces with legacy systems that creates deliveries through remote BAPI call. So, during the bapi call (BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CREATE_SLS), the EXTENSION_IN is being used and through the bapi documentation, we've to create couple of FM's to upload data to a global access area (BAPI exit) and then download it within the delivery BAdI (method SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE).
This way, I take the information from global data (which came from EXTENSION_IN) and put it direct to CT_XLIKP).
Now the question is, I have to open the zfields for edition in VL02N, it was done, but I don't know where or how to take the field's content to put in the CT_XLIKP structure.
If you could provide me with some example of how to use the get/set to retrieve the information from the field, would be very helpful. Thank you !

whats happening is when the form is in Query mode and if i change a record, lets say

in the database after i press F10 or Save button.
The update takes place for the POH table and form displays 1 Record updated.
whereas if i have for example 4 detail records, then form should update those as well and display finally
5 records updated is'nt it..?
In query mode,if i insert new or modify an existing record in the detail block, then at this point, form marks just
that particular record as CHANGED. Thus making changes at db level only for this particular record.
what i want is once i make changes to the field PH_FXRATE, then form should mark all detail records
as CHANGED and on saving, the PRE-UPDATE tigger of POD table should come in to force and the changes
in the values of M_PD_LOCAL_AMT in turn to the db field PD_LOCAL_AMT should get affected at db level.
i have also tried to put these assignments

if i go on changing values on records and save or save later keeping the form open,
form allows, but if 1 come back to a record which i may have changed and saved earlier, then it flashes Error;
"Records has been changed by another user, requery to ..."
i want to do an Audit before final db-Commit and keep the user free from this Error..
Please tell me first of all, is my approach for both of my issues,correct.?

I did exactly as you suggested. It works well for new record insertion
but when i press F7 to query it, its flashes messages before displaying detail records

for this i have PRE-UPDATE on POD Table

Which is doing that.It is not marking the detial record as CHANGED.
I tried giving the above assignments in the PRE-UPDATE on POH table.
It saves the changed value in the db-field, but not all detail records, if more than 1.
what you have suggested, will get me acheived what i am looking for..?

Don't get updates in shared calendar

Hi all,
Me and my wife are sharing a calendar in iCloud, we bth run iOS 5 and have an iMac where we add, edit and remove appointments. She receives an email notification when a new appointment is added, but I don't. I am the owner of the calendar, and we've tried to check and uncheck all the checkboxes that are related to email notifications, but it doesn't seem to help.
This is somewhat annoying since I can't see if she adds an appointment that concerns the both of us. She shouldn't be forced to add me as an attendee in order for me to get the appointement since it's in a shared calender should she?
Any ideas on how to fix this is greatly appreciated!

No configurable method I'm aware of to produce such field specific conditional formatting.
An ABAPer could do it for you via an Exit/BAdI.
However, I may be misunderstanding the question, you can certainly make a Requisition non-editable following final Release if you have Release Strategy. For the Release Status indicator you can have a field selection that prevents any updates.

All records don't get updated in Data Target

I am loading data from PSA to Cube. I see 2000 records in PSA but cube gets onlt 3 records?
I have checked all the routines in TR and UR there are no restrictions.
Any idea why its happening.

My guess is that the number of rows on the InfoCube don't match those on the PSA because the data is being aggregated. Probably you need to add some Characteristics on the InfoCube to store the data at a more granular level.
As an alternative, check the Key Figure Totals both on the PSA and the InfoCube, they should match.

Updated apps don't get synced

I connect my iPhone to my Mac via usb. If the apps are updated via iTunes or iPhone, when I sync the apps don't get updated to the other device. It used to get updated in earlier versions. It's a pain to search through and then select each app for syncing.
I feel the sync of apps has been removed from it's script.
iTunes version: 12.1.2.27
iPhone version:8:3

ScrollPane: thumb doesn't get updated after contents of scrollpane change

Hi,
I some content in a scrollpane. The horizontal scrollbar(thumb) is showing because the content is to big to fit horizontally.
The problem is if the content changes, i.e. gets smaller for example, the scrollbars don't get updated. Only after touching them with the mouse do they shrink/grow accordingly.
Is this a bug (it looks like it)? Is there a workaround?

How do I get the Manged bean and Taskflow logic for Disable button in User details Modify page

I have a requirement where I have to add to custom buttons like "Terminate" and "Reinstate" in the users detail page. Terminate is closely modeled with "Disable" button of user details page. Before I develop the custom beans and register the task flow for the custom button, I just want to understand the logic written in the managed bean for "Disable" button and understand what is there in its associated task flow. Am trying to get these details from OIM. Not sure where exactly I can get the code for this and customize as per my requirement.
Please suggest the exact location?

I have the checkout form populating information, if they have purchased in the past it will populate their address - but I am also trying to get their "account page" to do the same (basically show them what their current information in the system is - then allow them to update whatever might be wrong or need changes). We have a login page, for people to sign up without having "bought" something - so the CRM won't have their billing/shipping info in the system yet. Since updating to 3.6.1 I don't get an empty browser window in my tool bar whe. it opens --- just a list of search engines. I can't find anything in "Help" or the FAQ's that seem to address this. My only choice seems to go back to Safari.

I am not sure what your problem is, can you give more details.
One possibility is you may be in full screen mode, for details on fixing that see the [[menu bar is missing]] article.
If you are missing various toolbar items, see the [[back and forward or other toolbar items are missing]] article.

Hi CRM Gurus,
Need some help on Web User Management functionality.
Sub: Contact person Relationship data not getting updated when we change the company (to wich contact person belong to) in ISA CRM 5.0 Web User Management.
we are currently on CRM ISA 5.0 and using Web User Managment for our B2B scenario. New creation of users is working fine. But when we want to change the company (Sold to pary) for the existing contact person, the relationship data in CRM is not getting updated and the below are the details.
Contact person No: XXXX (has a Relationship: "Is contac person for YYYY company in CRM)
Company/Sold to Party: YYYY (has a relationship "Has contact person XXXX in CRM).
When I chage the contact person's (XXXX) company from YYYY to ZZZZ,
- Relationships of the new assignment for ZZZZ in CRM not getting updated.
- Old Records in YYYY is not getting deleted (i.e. relationships.
- There is No relationship data appear in XXXX.
Appreciate any inputs on the same.

Hi Rahul,
I'd suggest you running a session trace / ABAP debugging to see if some information is not getting passed from the Java stack onto the ABAP stack. An alternate move would be to create a new OSS customer message.
