User disabled until start date not getting ROs provisioned via AP

Here's the situation: I have a user in OIM that is disabled until start date. When the start date rolls around, and the job "Enable User After Start Date" runs followed by "Evaulate User Policies," the user is correctly enabled and the correct role gets assigned but the access policy associated with that role does not appear to get triggered so the APs resources are not assigned. However, if a user is entered the same way (via HR recon) but is on or after its start date, then the role gets assigned, the access policy fires, and the ROs are provisioned just fine.
I have noticed that if a user is moved from disabled to enabled, then the membership rules fire and any roles associated with the rules get assigned but in the DB the field USR_POLICY_UPDATE remains null. If I update that field with a '1' and re-run "Evaluate User Policies," the resources are provisioned correctly.
I am wondering if anyone has seen this before or has a suggestion as to how to resolve this.

Thanks for the suggestion. As it turned out, I did not have Retrofit checked but unfortunately that did not resolve the issue. The behavior remained the same after checking and re-running 'Evaluate User Policies'.
I may have a workaround for this issue that I am in the process of implementing. I'm creating a job that will run right before 'Enable User After Start Date' that will update the USR_POLICY_UPDATE field to'1' if the status of a user is 'Disabled Until Start Date.' Then the user will get enabled, assigned the appropriate roles via rules, and 'Evaluate User Policies' should run and now find this user and apply the access policies.
Anyway, seems like there should be a simpler answer so I'll keep checking here if anyone has one. I'll also update if the above workaround works.

    - Old Records in YYYY is not getting deleted (i.e. relationships.
    - There is No relationship data appear in XXXX.

    Hi Rahul,
    I'd suggest you running a session trace / ABAP debugging to see if some information is not getting passed from the Java stack onto the ABAP stack. An alternate move would be to create a new OSS customer message.

  • Team view data not getting refers for some user

    Hi,
    We are facing an issue in team view app for mss,  manager's are seeing details of employees not belonging to their Org Unit/ data not getting refreshed. This seems to be the Cache related issue where the data of perviously logged in user is displayed to the current user till browser cache are cleared manually.
    User don't have permission to clear browser cache. Is there any work around.The issue is coming only for some users.I have enable the 'ABAP HTTP Security session Enabled' property of the system used.

    in the first view I execute the BAPI and in the second view I show the results. In the second view I also submit the modified data via another BAPI.
    As I execute and display result of same BAPI in two different views I have bound the same model node to both of these views. Let me give you some sample code for understanding what have I done.
    In the first BAPI's search action handler I have written:

    In the second BAPI I just display the output node from the same Model context node (its mapped to the second view too).
    But as I said whenever I update some values in the result set and submit it the data gets submitted properly. But when I press the search button again, the previous set of data gets populated, not the just updated data.
    If anybody has some idea on why the second time search BAPI execution still shows the previous set of result it will be a great help to me.

    I am tryig to display Payslip in Portal. Have done all the necessary configuration in Benefits and payments->Salary statement->HRFOR/ EDTIN features.
    Correct Payslip form is visible but data is not getting populated in the payslip.
    Have tested the Payslip in PC00_M40_CEDT transaction with the variant i have set for HRFOR/EDTIN features and Payslip data is displayed correctly.
    Have checked for PZ11_PDF transaction but i get a message saying it cannot be accessed through Easy access.
    Can anyone pls let me know what might be the reason for data not getting populated in Payslip in Portal?

    Hello,
    Do one thing for executing the PZ11_PDF trsaction please follow following steps.
    1. Once you log in SAP system with same User - Id which you r using on Portal .
    Once log in PUT "/N" in the command box . Then put the trasaction "PZ11_PDF" and execute it will
    Call the salary statement .
    Or
    Once you log in SAP system put the trasction "/nsbwp" then give the trasaction "PZ11_PDF" it will
    call the salary statement ..
    give inputs once you done
    .....The issue with  Authorisations please check it ...
         Add this object in ESS role "S_SERVICE' ...
        and this object in ESS role "P_PERNR" ---infotype 0008

    I have a problem with custom Adhoc query data not getting displayed on the portal.
    It was getting displayed initially but after a user made some changes to the query its not getting displayed.
    The query is displaying data perfectly on R/3 but on portal ..Its giving the message no data found.
    Can anyone help me on this.
    Also if anyone can tell me how do i debug an Adhoc query from potal.
    Is there any tool to debug an Abap program from portal.

    find out the EXACT query u want to launch if it's display
    in BW buisness explorer then change the iview property
    for that query in portal . right click on iview
    BEx Web Application Query String -> assign correct query

    If it's showing the red disabled screen then you will need to connect it to the computer that you normally sync to and you should then be able to reset the iPad and restore/re-sync your content to it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212) - you may need to put the iPad into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
    If you do it via a different computer then :
    If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.

    We have developed enhancement for VA01 tcode.
    Depending upon the quatity entered for a material it should show one more item as free good.
    If quatity is 10 for a line item 10 then it should show item 20 by default same mateerial and quatilty as 1.We have done this it is working fine.
    But if we select free good item in our case it is 20 and click on schedule line item buttom all quaitity fields getting populated.but delivery date not getting populated for only free good.for line item 10 it showing properly.
    Can any one please suggest what i need to do in order to display delivery date for free good.

    Asha,
    Maintain Feature EDPDF which determines the SMARTFORM being used to make the payslip available for employees. This is more of a HR related issue and I believe if you post this in the ESS or HR Forum you would be able to resolve this issue.

    Please add the version of the TM product and which SPs have been installed.  Also more information on the quotation and contract.
    What do you mean by ticket?  It you mean an error message, from where are you reading the message?

    Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

    I am using OO ALV for editable grid display.
    I am unable to change grid data in the cell in which user enters something, using OO ALV. Did through debugging of my own program and found that some problem with system program. Then I did all system debugging. Could not find out why is the grid not getting refreshed with the new data in the cell in which user had entered some value. Rest of the cell's data are getting refreshed with the values which i am updating in the final internal table. I can see that the data in the final internal table is changed for the cell in which user enters data. But even after the call of

    Hi Surya,
       The approach you are following is correct. You need to use the comibnation of all these things:
    Event - DATA_CHANGED
    Methods - CHECK_CHANGED_DATA
                 -  GET_CHANGED_DATA.
    However, here are few standard programs which are having similar functionality.

    But while logging through that user and viewing the Sales Order all data are not viewed through the form as i haven't
    defined Data Ownership for that user but still i am not able to view all data from that user login.
    Please suggest  what i have to do view all data from that login.

    Hello Amit,
    Data ownership authorization would not be override by general authorization.  If this user has not been assigned for data ownership authorization, the sales order may not be available to the user.

  • RAR 5.3 SP8 - Action Usage by User Report - Change Start Date?

    Hello,
    When we run the report "Action Usage by User" in RAR, it shows a default "Start Date" of 1/12/2009. RAR put this in there on its own. We never got the Action Usage Generation Job working correctly until a few weeks ago (we had some issues that SAP addressed and then it took time to get resources to go back and resolve some things on our side). Since we've only had the background job that pulls STAD data running successfuly since 10/3/2009 (it runs every 6 hours), we'd like to change the default "Start Date" on that Report Screen to be 10/3/2009. This way, users are not confused into thinking when they run the report and leave the date set as 1/12/2009, they are getting tcode usage data since that date. Because they're not getting tcode usage since that date. Our records really only go back to 10/3/2009.
    We could instruct our users to change the date every time but we feel it'd be easier if we just changed the date so they didn't have to worry about it.
    Does anyone know how we could tweak this? What table that default date would be under? How could we modify?

    The table where that date is is VIRSA_CC_USAGECTL
    If you use the debugger tool, you'll see there's only 1 row in this table. You'll find the FROMDATE, TODATE, and FILENAME columns. I FILENAME column should be null.
    Row FROMDATE TODATE FILENAME
    1 2009-01-12 9999-12-31
    If possible, could you confirm you are seeing similiar information?
    The issue we are having is trying to figure out how to update this table...we need that FROMDATE to be 2009-10-03.
