Could anyone tell me how to create email account for people not in email organization?
Please point me how to this?
I'm sorry, I don't understand what you are asking for.
What do you mean, "pe3ople not in email organization"?
It would also help to know what version Messaging Server you're using.

Hi!
We are in SRM 5.0 Server 550. We have created our own roles based on the standard roles. Our employee role is almost identical to SAP_EC_BBP_EMPLOYEE. We have added some transactions.
Users_gen worked fine for the users, their attributes are maintained in BBPOMA_BBP and the check tab shows green light. But when user logs on and tries to maintain its settings we receive the message "User is not integrated in organizational model"
We also receive an error while trying to create a SC. I think this is related to the problem above.
Have we missed a crucial transaction?
I can see we are missing the authorization object PLOG.

The problem stared when I was trying out the new role that this user has gotten. BBPSC02 didn¨t work. By a chance I looked at the settings and saw that "User is not integrated in organizational model" was stated at the top. One could also see that no attributes at all was maintained here. So it looks like there is a correlation between BBPSC02 dump and that the user is not integrated in the organizational model.

Greetings everyone! We are running an external OpenLDAP server which basically has the same type of instructions that an Active Directory config has. i.e. To get everything working I've had to follow Apple's posts about Active directory, the WIKI, clearTextAuth, etc.
Everything is working great, but when the final notification email is sent out to the users, the administrators get the emails, but no users from my external directory get the email.
When you look at the email to field on the message to administrators it has and . So it's like PcP is trying to pass an email through, but failing. On a side note I can see the users email in the Info pane of workgroup manager. Any ideas on where to look next on this or anyone else having this problem? Certain logs?

SteveSo I've been doing more tests. Maybe this will help diagnose a little more:
The users email is appearing in workgroup manager under /Info / Email Address.
I have changed the audience workflow property to one of my test email addresses - the message sends to the audience correctly.
I have modified a workflow and changed to $$User Email Address>> to explicitly be an email as opposed to the variable - the email was sent to the user, but the user's name was not in the email header. Instead it displayed the same as before: [email protected], , [email protected] I also looked at the results in the xgridagentd log under the console and the address showed up correct there.
If I do not explicitly put an email in as $$User Email Address>> the xgridagentd log shows something as follows:

Notice that the from and to are blank.
I am using an external SMTP server, which we already have running and at least seems to be sending to whoever I explicitly list. It seems like the $$User Email Address>> variable is not getting any info.
Let me know if you have any ideas! Any other logs to check?

We have enabled the Email notification for workflow of Planning units and have provided the Server name in the Applications Setting. Still the users are not getting notified when they are assigned with the planning unit... Please suggest ..

Does your smtp server require authentication, with planning it needs to be able to send smtp mails without authentication.

10.6 - Changes to users' email quotas not propagating to Dovecot
For the last few months I have been unable to increase users' email quotas on the built-in Dovecot mail server that comes with Server 10.6. This is one of those bugs that popped up in the past many times but always seemed to resolve itself. Now, this function between Server and Dovecot is not working at all.
Things I've tried:
- Editing the quota from my local copy of WGM, remotely connected to the email server
- Editing the quota in WGM directly on the email server
- Deleting the 'maildirsize' file in the users' Dovecot mail folder
- Manually changing the contents of the 'maildirsize' file to a higher value
- Deleting the users' Open Directory account and recreating, but this just re-links it to their previous Dovecot mailbox
Interesting note: If Irefresh the view in Server Admin > Mail > Maintenance after attempting a quota change in WGM, the user's quota never changes. However, it will change temporarily when I edit or delete the 'maildirsize' file, but within seconds it resets itself back to the original quota. The only thing that actually works is deleting the users' OD account and Dovecot mailbox seperately, then creating all new accounts.
In summary, I can create new Dovecot mail boxes with an initial quota, but can never change that quota after the fact.
I have researched this problem extensively on the Dovecot wiki and Apple server forums, and have certainly seen others with this issue, but with no clear resolution. Any help would be extremely appreciated.Update: I just checked Server Admin > Mail > Maintenance, and noticed that there are now duplicate mail boxes with a 0MB limit for the users I tried to increase quotas for. ***?

One user can not retrieve email from phone
I have one user can not hear the email from the IP phone, Text-To-Speech configured for this subscriber, listen voice message on the IP phone no problem, from outlook side, no problem, checked everything looks fine. any idea what happened for this?

ThanksActually this is system wide problem, other users not reported.
Solution: The unity primary server was out of synch with the exchange message store, restarted the Message Store svc, problem solved.

Broad casting Webi report in excel format to different users email ids

Seriously looking for the help, please help with the solution for below scenario.
We have a requirement to schedule broadcasting of Webi reports to users email in excel format from infoview. But our concern is how the system takes care of authorizations of users when we broadcast the report to their mail id as excel file.
For example we have one webi report for Finance and there are thousands of users for each department, cost centre etcu2026so how to broadcast the same webi report in excel to different users with only data they have authorized to see. We have committed to client that we can do this with out much massive overhead, please advise what is the easiest way to achieve this. I read something like this can be done using authorization profiles in CMS but creating those many profiles and mapping them to relevant authorizations is not possible as there are thousands of users with different authorization levels. And Client is expecting this broadcasting need to be done automatically with out every time manual intervention.

For this we need to do follow steps.
1) Create the WebI Report that needs to be published(Broadcasted)
2) create Deski/webi report which contains the user details and email id's for publishing main report.
3) Map the properties of souce report with Dynamic Recipient report.
Please refer the user guide for more inforamtion.This helps you in avoiding manual creation of profiles in CMC.

You create REL entry points:

Now, create a parameter Username on the job chain.
Parameter To should have the value =Custom.getEmail(chainParameters.Username)
You specify the username in the Username parameter, the email address will be retrieved from CPS. The user must have logged on to CPS at least once, alternatively, you can import the user.
Note that to import the user, you must assign at the very least the AccessScheduler action in UME.

Interesting question. I've me wondering how I can do something similar. But not so much for the email(coz we are not using Oracle Mail), but for the security setup of a user in OCS. eg. a user is granted access to many folders or objects, we want an easy way to deprovision everything. (if backing up is possible before the deprovisioning, even better - just in case a wrong delete was performed, it is recoverable).
The other thing I'm interested is whether a branch in OCS can be backed-up and recovered easily (together with all it's meta-data and attributes) ?

Does Leopard Server make user/email lists?
Hi,
We presently use QuickMail server, mainly because it keeps a local user email list, and sends it to all users each time it's changed. So, the question is, does Leopard Server Mail admin have a feature like this? This will be a major factor in whether we migrate to Apple Mail vs staying with QuickMail.
The other factor is SPAM control, of course. Does Apple Mail have SPAM control features equivalent to Outspring's (QuickMail) new mail client "Outspring Mail"?

Perhaps as an Address Book feature. However, (against my better judgment) most of our clients are choosing to use Entourage as a client. If the list is usable by both Apple Mail and Entourage it would be even more useful.

Disconnected User email forwarding
I have disabled a user in AD and her emailbox is showing disconnected in Exchange Manangement Console.
I need her email to be forwarding to another user. I Added the SMTP addresses associated with the disconnected mailbox to the active user in the e-mail addresses section.
I created a rule in the users Inbox to route any email from this disabled email user to a designated folder.
The email are not displaying the disabled email account address. They are all being delivered to the active recipient Inbox.
How do I get the email to still display the email address of the disabled account so it will route to this folder? The user needs to know that the email is for the disabled user.
thanks for any help.Since you moved the SMTP to the active user([email protected]) it will always go to that SMTP address. Since the old disabled account no longer has the SMTP address it will not be delivered there.
Also you can only have that unique SMTP address([email protected]) on 1 mailbox, so you can not add it back to the old account without removing it from the active user first.
One option that you can use is to enable the mailbox add the SMTP address back to the old user old user, Disable the AD account and hide it from the GAL. Then forward all messages to the Active user and keep a copy in the disabled mailbox.
