User Exceeded Max Sessions

User trying to use DUN are getting the error msg of User exceeded max session going into ACS, I cant find any info about and initial log for that day never mind multiple ones. Max session is set to one in the group settings; I have 6 PRI AS5300, PIX 515 and a 3005 concentrator. ACS and radius were recently rebooted with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is this ACS for Unix, if yes then please try setting the MaxSessions parameter to a higher value.
MaxSessions parameter specifies the number of concurrent logins allowed, so if the user, or group is entitled to more sessions, change the user's or group's profile to allow more sessions.

once i checked the v$session, always find lots of inactive session.nearly after two month it will exceed the max session value in the init.ora profile.
I have check the sqlnet.ora profile and the value of expire_time is 10 minuter, while not sure why so many inactive session? and if i need to kill all inactive session?

INACTIVE users are users not actively running a query, but they are connected to the database.
If SQL expire time is set, you can verify the logfiles, if users get disconnected because of idle connections.
For the remainder I agree with the other post.

ACS and same username for multiple users (max sessions)

Hello,
I have created four user groups and four users. Each user is in its own user group and each usergroup have its own ip pool. The problem is that multiple sessions is not always (works random) possible even if the max session is set for group to unlimited and users use group settings. does anyone have any idea what might cause the problem?

Hi,
Here is some more information about problem. Connection fails even if the authentication is passed. I use ACS (3.3) for authenticating users from mobile network.

Low performance when connected users exceed 250 in OAS10g

hi,
in OAS10g app server whenconnected user to app server are less than approximately 250-280 every thin is good and there is no performance problem,
but where connected users exceed 280 , server response to requests such as opening a form(without query data from db ) took 10-12 seconds.
in this case Os resources are: cpu usage <45% and mem usage <50%.
is it HTTPServer performance issue?
how can i solve this problem?

You can try to change the JVM for Forms Servlet, maybe add more Threats with more memory assigment and that this threats get distroyed after resolving certain number of request, also in Apache, you may want to increase the number of MaxClients Directive, as well the Max Connections in WebCache.

Hi,
I am getting the error
5200 : Error executing query. Exceed max row number 100000
when I run the report on Financial Reporting. It gives the same error when run on Workspace.
Have you guys encountered this error before? What are the best ways to tackle it? Help is much appreciated guys.

Edit 1 - I tried to simplify the parameters but I still get the same error making me suspect that the issue is not the 100000 row issue.

My requirement is roll to a new log file with name appended with timestamp only when file size exceeds max size (file name ex: log_2014_12_11_12:34:45 etc).

Issue is date time is not appending to file name.
But if i set "Rolling style" as "Date or composite", file name gets appended with timestamp, but new file gets created before reaching max file size.(Because file gets created whenever date time changes, which i dont want) .

1.If a NAS configured to have a primary and a backup RADIUS server. To start with all the “Accounting-Start” records will be in the primary RADIUS server. Later on the primary server goes down (Primary server won’t tell the NAS?). When sessions stop, the NAS sends the “Accounting-Stop” to the secondary. I understand the “Start-Stop” record with the same “user name” and “session-id” ideally should be recorded in the same server. If this situation happens what should both the NAS and RADIUS server do?

Real-time 8.6 Remote panel connection exceeds max number of licenses- with no connections

I've been using the remote panel right along with no problems to connect to my Compact Fieldpoint. This morning I accidently opened the connection twice on the same computer and tripped the "Remote panel connection exceeds max number of licenses" error. Now it will not let me connect anymore from my computer. I've tried clearing cookies, cache and history in Internet Explorer and rebooting my computer. I've fired up the Remote Panel Connection Manager which shows no connections, and the NI License Information window does not show any connections which have been denied due to max # of clients being exceeded. Is there a way to reset this without having to reboot my RT controller? I'm running RT8.6 and LV 8.6 Full Dev System and understanding that it should come with 1 remote panel license.

The boss wanted to see an updated feature, so I was forced to deploy a new version and reboot. Problem went away as I suspected it would.
I did manage to make the same mistake again this morning (launch the remote panel in 2 different MSIE windows) and after closing them both I could reconnect. Must be a glitch or a bug? It'd be interesting to see if anyone else has this problem. For now...solved, but it would be nice to see a way to fix this without rebooting.

How to hide a record in table from users of different sessions ?

Hi,
I am having a table say 'EMPLOYEE' with 10 records in it and users X and Y.
X fetched a row from his session, assume 5th record for perfoming update operation .
Until X commits his transaction , this 5th record should not viewable to user Y evenwith
"SELECT * FROM EMPLOYEE" statement .
How it is possible with oracle ?

But according to first mentioned link the user is getting through Portal Request Object. In webdynpro, we were not able to get Portal request object. So we are getting the current user from UME .

Automount SSHFS drive in user-level systemd session

I'm able to automount a network drive through SSHFS using the following .mount unit in the system-level systemd session:

As is, the network drive is mounted at system start-up and it is read/write-able by any user logged into the local system.
I'd like the drive to be mounted only when my $USER logs-in and read/write-able only by my $USER, so I considered moving the .mount unit to my user-level systemd session, but now the automounting fails with an unhelpful error message:
systemd[1969]: Mounting adama shared drive...
systemd[1969]: home-koral-remote-adama.mount mount process exited, code=exited status=1
systemd[1969]: Failed to mount adama shared drive.
systemd[1969]: Unit home-koral-remote-adama.mount entered failed state
I guess there is a permission issue somehow, could you please help figuring it out ?
Note: I'm still using systemd-204 as the user-level session is kind of broken in later versions as described here.

It means your file is too large to fit on a single layer disk.
Recompress to keep the overall size (audio,video and menus) below 4.5GB
