User Exit/ BADI during creation of vendor master

Dear Friends,
During creation of vendormaster if the with holding tax is maintained then PAN no. field should be made mandatory.
So far I know this can't done through standard field selection of vendor master. So this is to be done through BADI/User exit. Please provide me the same where in run time I can get PAN no field. It comes from the excise table.

First try for any Customization is available.
If not we can achieve with enhancement point.
Try to find out an implicit enhancement point on PAI event of the screen there validate for the "PAN No"
if the "PAN No" is blank raise an error message & EXIT from the PAI.
It would serve your purpose.

I want to introduce certain check during outbound ABAP proxy calls to PI. This is a generic check, failure of which would stop the proxy call to proceed and raise an exception.
I would like to place this at the generic place which is called for all the outbound ABAP proxy calls, rather than coding this in each and every outbound proxy class as the check is generic.
Is there some user-exit/BADI where i can introduce this? Maybe within class CL_PROXY_OUTBOUND or somewhere else where i can introduce this check.

i agree with sabrish, you must be having a z report on the application system that must be calling that outbound proxy...may be if the check is generic it may not be related to a proxy so you can code a FM and then call it before you call that proxy in the z report

I'm looking for a way to access the fields of a WBS before displaying.
The field project type is filled in by default, and I would like to clear this. I looked for a user exit / BADI but wasn't able to find one whic allows me to do what I want.

Bank details check during creation of vendor master

Hi,
I'm sharing the same vendor account group for local and overseas vendor.
For overseas vendor , bank details is a requirement field that user has to fill.
But for local vendor, bank details is optional information.
How to do this ?

1. To prevent human error, I would like SAP to raise error message when bank details empty for overseas vendor. I don't think we can use solution no.1.
2. The data is already in production, my project is not an implementation project. So I don't think I can change the account group for the existing data. And I don't think the user will accept to create new vendor code under new account group.
I'm thinking to use user exit. Do you know any user exit I can use during saving vendor master data ?
Another thing, just to make sure, can we use validation for this purpose ? as far as I know, validation only applicable for transactional data, not master data. Correct me if I'm wrong.

User-exit /BADI to change mseg during migo

Can someone tell me which user-exit/BADI to be used which lets one change mseg during MIGO. There are some user-exit/BADI during migo but everywhere mseg is an import param. Actually for certain cases I want
to change the amount in local currency field (dmbtr). I can always forcibly do it from an update-module called from MB_DOCUMENT_BADI but this would lead to inconsistency as the same won't be passed to
accounting document.

Hi,
i've also tried using the BAdI mentioned to change for some changes required for price during goods movement.
after discussion with developer, we found out that the when the program reach the BAdI mentioned, it is already too late as the standard program has already populated the accounting document structure to be posted.
to change the amounts to be posted to the accounting document can be managed with enhancement spots in inlcude program of LRWCLF01.
but requires heavy logic to restrict to specific scenarios and intensive testing, not recommended as it is not within the boundaries of standard SAP allowed changes.

In ME21N, for every purchase order, we have condtion tab for each line item.
Many condition typesot taxes are listed based on the config for the materials.
My requirements is, When we go inside by selecting a condition type we find vendor number displayed.
I need a user exit/BADI for defaulting the Vendor number.

Could you please guide me to advice the User Exit/Badi which can be used for changing Quant Data during TO Creation.
User Requirement: Using "Recepient Field" in MIGO as a Key Value for FIFO in WM during goods issue. Receipient is copied into TR and TO (Standard SAP Functionality). For the purpose of Stock Removal based on Receipient Value, we need to copy this value into Quant Data field named Certificate Number ("LQUA-ZEUGN").

After saving newly created Asset from As01 we need to send a mail to the person for whom the Asset is assigned.
i have tried all this.But no one is triggering after saving the As01 transaction.

As campaign can be created and executed individually also, it will never check for higher level project ID.
Let me check the system if we can block creation of campaign individually, without having a higher level marketing plan.

To find out user exit/ badi for the VT01n transaction triggered in Save

I have the following requirement and for this appropriate user exit/ badi should be needed which will trigger during saving of the shipment.
Cass shipment type (VTTK-ADD03) field needs to be required and should be automatically populated upon creation of the shipment document. The rules for populating the value (SO, ST, PO and RA) are as follows:
If any of the orders on the shipment are customer order types, then the CASS shipment type should be a SO,
If all of the orders are STO orders, then the Cass shipment type should be "ST",
If all of the orders are PO orders, then the Cass shipment type should be "PO" , and
If all of the orders are customer return orders, then the Cass shipment type should be "RA".
I have tried with the 3 badi available and 7 to 8 user exit, but it won't work.

Valuation price with user exit/BADI/Enhancement Spot (In valuation variant)

Hi all,
i am facing problem finding enhancement when creation of sales order of Valuation price with user exit/BADI/Enhancement Spot (In valuation variant)
For refferenece:
When going to t.code VA03, select one item and go to extras in the menu bar and select costing then you find some amounts calculation i.e valuation price automatically.
So when creation of sales order i am giving material and that material price automatically takes from material master and creating sales order.
My customer requirement is to get the valuation price of the input material from Z-table during the sales order cost estimate.
This Z-table contains the material code, plant , grade of the material.
Ex:
Material         Plant   Grade Price
A                1000    XYZ     25000
A                1000    PQR     35000
A                1000    BCD     45000
Suppose it depends on sales document type and which grade price i have to take.
So first of all i am unable to find enhancement where to change this code to get change the valuation price.
Does anybody have any idea , is there any user exit/BADI/enhancement for this.
So please help me in this issue.
