I need a BADI/User Exit which triggers when we try to set the status of WBS as 'TECO' in CJ20N transaction.

User exit to prevent setting status , if there is no budget allocated to WBS

Hi PS Experts,
Is it normal to experience unlimited purchases if you have forgotten to add budget $$ against WBS?
Customer has following steps
1) User create Project & user status is CREA which prevents most traxn
2) User will allocate budget to WBS & set user status to OPEN which will allow Release of project.
3) Release project & create PR/PO
under step 2, if they forget to add budget any amount of procurement can be done against that WBS.
We are looking at any user exit to prevent release of WBS which doesn't have budget $$ assigned to it.
Are there any?

I am experiencing unlimited PR/PO allowed for WBS without budget/forget to add budget(Blank entry).
Is there a configuration which treats 'Blank' as 0. We are experiencing 'Blank' treated as unlimited( 999999999)
In MM-Physical inventory, there is 'Radio' button to mark 'Zero Count' to make sure user whats to decelare 'Zero' instead of 'Forgot to enter'.Much in similar way , something like this is happening here.
This is probably system reading 'Blank' field as non-zero. is there a way to alter this behavior?

USEREXIT / BADI to get WBS elem system status before&after for WBS in CJ20N

Hi friends,
Please help me out to capture the WBS element system status after and before the changes in CJ20N tcode, the status has to be posted to the P I system.
Please let me know if any user exit exists for CJ20N.I am not able to find any in CMOD.
I have tried using the BADI's WORKBREAKDOWN_UPDATE and
PROJECTDEF_UPDATE .
but was not able to capture the changed system status .
Is there any other way to capture the system status and post them to PI.

The User wants to get it posted to the PI system as soon as the system status of WBS element is changed.
I am already done with RFC FM for this purpose which gets the changed status of all PROJECTS-WBS elements.
Our team is facing some probs with connecting to PI through RFC.
Getting 'SYSTEM_FAILURE' error, when executing the RFC with PI system's destination.Not able to trace out the probs, they have tested the connection with IDOC which was a success and able to post the PI.
They want me to capture the data in USEREXIT/BADI and some how trigger the IDOC with back ground job scheduled.

User Exit / BADI while creating Purchase Requistion

I am trying to find a BADI that would get triggered before the purchase requisition gets created (so that I can edit the storage location). I observe that purchase requisitions could be created with transactions like MD41 or while creating a sales order (events trigger MRP in background ?)
I tried to find the relevant BADIs using the transaction MD41 and function module SXV_GET_CLIF_BY_NAME and found the following BADI definitions but was not too sure which one to use in the case. Could anyone help

User exit/ BADI in f-32 / f-28 for adding application tool bar button

Hi Experts,
There is a requirement, for adding application tool bar button in the Transaction codes F-32 / F-28 / Feba_lockbox. So that while clearing documents with reference document, they can upload the data(Reference Documents) from local file and after the data is fetched for clearing, they need to download the data to local file for verification. If the data is verified to be okay, then they can go ahead with simulation and posting. They need this verification to be done in excel sheet, so need to download the data into local file.
I found a BADI in that screen is BADI_LAYER but I don't think it is relevant.
Any help is apreciated!
Is there any EXIT ? Because I can not find it too.

Valuation price with user exit/BADI/Enhancement Spot (In valuation variant)

Hi all,
i am facing problem finding enhancement when creation of sales order of Valuation price with user exit/BADI/Enhancement Spot (In valuation variant)
For refferenece:
When going to t.code VA03, select one item and go to extras in the menu bar and select costing then you find some amounts calculation i.e valuation price automatically.
So when creation of sales order i am giving material and that material price automatically takes from material master and creating sales order.
My customer requirement is to get the valuation price of the input material from Z-table during the sales order cost estimate.
This Z-table contains the material code, plant , grade of the material.
Ex:
Material         Plant   Grade Price
A                1000    XYZ     25000
A                1000    PQR     35000
A                1000    BCD     45000
Suppose it depends on sales document type and which grade price i have to take.
So first of all i am unable to find enhancement where to change this code to get change the valuation price.
Does anybody have any idea , is there any user exit/BADI/enhancement for this.
So please help me in this issue.

IW32 : User-Exit/BADI on Change of User Status

Dear All,
My requirement is to do some validations when a user changes the User Status of a Service Order to 'Cancel'.
I am unable to find a user-exit/badi which will get trigerred when the above process occurs. I did find some user-exit at save but none of them will get me the new user status, so that I can check whether the Service Order going to be set as 'Cancel' .

I didnt find any luck with the FM you had mentioned but found some other FM: QMEM_STATUS_OLD_NEW_READ , may be this will help me in solving my problem..There is one more Question which I hadnt mentioned in my post, If my validation over User Status fails how can I get the old status back.. Because since the EXIT you had mentioned is at SAVE I dont think throwing an Error message will be the right option

To find out user exit/ badi for the VT01n transaction triggered in Save

I have the following requirement and for this appropriate user exit/ badi should be needed which will trigger during saving of the shipment.
Cass shipment type (VTTK-ADD03) field needs to be required and should be automatically populated upon creation of the shipment document. The rules for populating the value (SO, ST, PO and RA) are as follows:
If any of the orders on the shipment are customer order types, then the CASS shipment type should be a SO,
If all of the orders are STO orders, then the Cass shipment type should be "ST",
If all of the orders are PO orders, then the Cass shipment type should be "PO" , and
If all of the orders are customer return orders, then the Cass shipment type should be "RA".
I have tried with the 3 badi available and 7 to 8 user exit, but it won't work.

Hi,
   I have the following requirement.
Cass shipment type (VTTK-ADD03) field needs to be required and should be automatically populated upon creation of the shipment document. The rules for populating the value (SO, ST, PO and RA) are as follows:
If any of the orders on the shipment are customer order types, then the CASS shipment type should be a SO,
If all of the orders are STO orders, then the Cass shipment type should be "ST",
If all of the orders are PO orders, then the Cass shipment type should be "PO" , and
If all of the orders are customer return orders, then the Cass shipment type should be "RA".
I have to find out proper user exit / badi to do this.I have tried with many userexit but it won't work.

Alternatively, you can do the following:
1. For what ever transaction u want the enhancement .. just check for the System-->status (menu) and find out the PROGRAM name....
2. Double click on to the program name and go inside the program (Abap editor)
3. Search for "Call Customer-function " ... and u'll get some search results .. If u get results then u have enhancement in that tcode .....
4. Then it actually calls a Function module .... copy the Function module name .... go to SE80 (object navigator) click on "Repository Information system" then Customer Enhancements .... Give the Function module name in the "Components" field and click Execute ....
ull get a list of Enhancements related to that Componene....
5. Choose which ever enhancement will suit ur business need ..
6. Go to CMOD... create a project .... assign ur enhancement ... and then code ur logic.... activate ur enhancement in CMOD ....... Ur Buisness need will be solved...
