User_exit in CRM BP transaction

Can anyone tell me whether an user exit(s) exist in CRM's BP transaction? I know I can extend BP functionality through the BDT but BDT-events are not triggered in the portal. Anyone, any suggestions? Tiest.

There are a number fo BADI's in CRM that serve the same purpose as the user exits in R/3, which is to allow you to run some custom code in various places in the transactions.
Transaction SE18 will allow you an overview of the various badi's.  Search the various definitions using wild cards and key words.  For example price will show you several, etc.  Look for the badi's via subject matter and then read the documentation for the interfaces.
Hopefully, this will lead you to one that serves your purpose.
Good luck,
Brent

  • CRM Service Transaction Types availability in ECC table CRMC_SRV_BILL_PR

    Dear experts
I need to customize ECC IMG object CRM_SRV_BILL_MAP (SPRO -> Integration with Other mySAP.com Components -> Customer Relationship Management -> Settings for Service Processes -> Billing Integration -> Map Transaction Types and Item Categories).
This is to map SAP CRM Service Transactions to SAP ECC Sales Orders for triggering Debit/Credit Memos based on Service Orders. However, the table in which CRM Service Transaction Types are stored is empty (CRMC_SRV_BILL_PR) - how to we get the data in there?
For some reason, we have one client where this info is available, in another one it's not. We are not sure whether this might be a download object, or if customizing on ECC side is required?
Thank you in advance for all helpful replies!
    Christian

    Hi,
As far as my knowledge goes in this area, i have worked on this in my previous project with R/3 version being 4.7. We have had to manually maintain the configuration in the table that you are reffering to. So you would need to maintain the document type to be created and also assign the item categories acordingly. You will ofcourse need to configure the document types and item categories that are relevant to create a debit/credit memo in R/3. Also, you will need to map the CRM item categories to the R/3 credit/debit item categories.
    Hope this helps

  • Creating action in CRM sales transaction to trigger RFC in R/3?

    Hello gurus
We wish to replicate our contracts from CRM to R/3  but since SAP is not supporting it, I heard that one option that we have is to enable actions in our CRM sales transactions, which when executed will trigger an RFC call to R/3 system and then create same transactioon there as well...
Could anyone please shed some light as to how this can be done?
    Please advise.
    Regards
    Jai

    Hello,
I should prefer using the ORDER_SAVE Badi, using a queued RFC to create the dat in the R/3 system.

  • Adding CRM WebUI transactions to the Transactions tab in SOLAR01

    Hello,
does somebody know if there is a possibility to add direct links to CRM WebUI transactions on the transactions tab in TA SOLAR01. Means, is it possible to link direct to the specific component on the WebUI, like it is possible to open transactions in the SAP GUI.
    Thanks in advance!
    Best regards
    Thorsten

    Hi Andrew,
The only way to do this currently is via a small modification to standard code.  Of course you will also probably need to include your new fields in your extract to BI for reporting and extend your IDOC if you need to send the extra fields to a POS system.
    Hope this helps,

  • Can anybody help about the conditions in CRM business transaction??

    Hi experts,
I'm fresh on CRM and have several questions regarding the conditions in CRM business transactions.
Can you please help? Thanks in advance.
In prciing procedure,we can determin which condition should be involved in item level,
then, how about the conditions in header level??How and where they can be determind?
how the condition value can be calculated?I think they should be the collection of the conditions of the items.
    Am I right?
    Thanks.

    Hello Jerry
Basically you are right,  at header level you should see the collection of the conditions of the items. However there are also conditions that can be entered at header level ( header conditions). You can see more information about these conditions in SD documentation:
    http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_05/helpdata/EN/dd/561760545a11d1a7020000e829fd11/frameset.htm
    See sections:
    Header and item conditions
    Distribution Between Header and Items
In "Distribution Between Header and Items" you can see how HB00 and RB00 condition types work.  If you create your pricing procedure in CRM ( not downloaded from R3) then you can use 0HB0 and 0RB0, which are the CRM counterparts of HB00 and RB00

  • IPC Pricing in CRM Opportunity transaction

I am working on a new CRM implementation and we have to price
products in Opportunty transaction in CRM.
We have loaded all the pricing procedures and conditions from R/3
into CRM using middleware. IPC is installed and it is up and
    running. Our basis person
confirmed that the connection between CRM and IPC server is verified
using SM59 and it is connected.
The WEB interface has lots of *.JSP links. How  to verify
whether the WEb interface provided by our basis is fine.
I have configured an opportunity transaction in CRM. All the products and
their pricing procedures are loaded from R/3 into CRM. But still the product
price is not being calculated in opportunity transaction. Item category is
determined correctly. But the net value is ZERO and no error message. Before
we connect we were getting an error message pointing to IPC connectivity
issue. Now that is resolved but still the price is not being calculated.
Any additional information on configuring IPC to look into CRM database for
pricing procedures and conditions records when serving the request from
opportunity transaction would be of great help.

We are in CRM 4.0. I know for sure that pricing takes place for opportunity and I have tested the same in IDES and this worked well in my previous project.
Based on the products entered IPC will provide the price from product master and conditions/pricing procedures. Expected Value will be nothing but the pricing provided by IPC. But the user will have option to manyally enter this or override the system entered value.

  • Unable to access ECC transactions from CRM using Transaction Launcher

Hi Folks, we are trying to create a booking request using VA11 from portal. For this we have configured transaction launcher in CRM which will connect to ECC system from portal and VA11 screen will be launched. For this we have done the necessary configuration in transaction launcher (Including RFC destination and logical system) and this is working fine in Dev system but not in quality system. We are able to see SAP screen with toolbar Menu and System but not the entire transaction (refer image below). Our questions here are,
    1)     What user type has to be configured when connecting from CRM to ECC? (System, Communication data or any ohter)
    2)     If this has to work with user as Dialog, is there any supporting document from SAP saying this should be Dialog user?
    3)     Is there any other issue and need development specifically related BOR TSTC?
Warm regards and thanks in advance for your time.

    Hello JC,
Yes, it is possible . You have to create new work center link or Direct Link for the existing transaction launcher.

  • ITS WebGUI in CRM(By transaction launcher )

    Hi all,
We would like to incude transaction "S_AE2_89000019" from CRM to SAP CRM WEB Client UI.
We have done the following steps using the SAP best practices (C04-Configuration guide):
    1. in transaction CRMS_IC_CROSS_SYS we have configured the CRM system with url: http://CRMnameServer:httpport/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/!?transaction=IC_LTX&okcode=ICEXECUTE
    and ERP system with url
    http://ERPnameServer:httpport/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/!?transaction=IC_LTX&okcode=ICEXECUTE
    2. we have set TSTC to synchronous (CRM and ERP)
    3. we have configured transaction launcher through wizard (tx CRMC_UI_ACTIONWZ)
    4. we have created logical link for transaction and we assigned the link to work center and business role.
The problem is that when we are opening the SAP CRM web gui and click on the link that we have created, we take a blank picture with a red x "PLease wait..." and nothing else opens. My CRM Version is 7.0 EHP1.
The webgui service in the tx sicf have been a test, after login in, a blank picture with a red x "PLease wait..."  is also remaining.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks in advanced.

    Lei Cao,
Want to check if this issue is resolved. I have the same problem where I am getting 'please wait" with red x screen when I configured transaction launcher from crm web ui.
Did you ever get this resolved? If so please share your approach ? And is this authorization related?

  • Assigning the SAP CRM 7sales transaction type to view in WEB UI?

    Hi CRM Experts,
Can anyone show me th path or TCode, where the Business transaction types (Leads, Quotation and orders) are assigned in the backend of SAP CRM to reflect the same in the front end i.e.,  WEB UI?
    Would appreciate responding  ASAP.
    Regards
    Succhi

Yes, as Jan said, this is done in basic customaziong of transaction types under spro>crm>transactions>basic settings>define transaction types. There you define for each transaction type the Transaction Category that it is using. Like for lead it is BUS2000108, for opportunity it is BUS2000111 and for quotations and orders it is BUS2000115. Quotations and orders have the same transaction category but then it depends on the customization of item categories that are assigned to the transaction type if they behave as order or as quotation.
