User-Exit in VA41/VA42 at ITEM level for output determination?

Hello Experts,
Am looking for user-exit/BADI/Enhancement Spot, my requireemnt is I need to populate the output (VA41/VA42 Tx>Menu>Extras>Output>ItemEdit goes to next screen, here we hv a column with lable of Output) output with my_z_output as soon as user inputs a line item and press ENTER (if its ONLY 1 item user may press SAVE button), pls. let me know whiich is the good spot for my req. in VA41/VA42

Hi...I'm not sure on any available customer exits for this purpose. However you can use the check function exit 'EXIT_SAPMM06E_012' of customer exit MM06E005 and using memory pointers you can change the item level data.
The other option is to use BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST's method PROCESS_ITEM to change the item level value. I would prefer the BADI rather than the customer exit.. Hope it works..

I've already read this wonderfull post (Activating Generic Object Services Toolbar in SAP Objects) but I didn't understand how manage attachments at item level.

I'm to develop a new GOS menu item, that will show
a normal Open File dialog, and a following popup
where the user can change the document title shown

along with ARCHIV_CONNECTION_INSERT should probably
cover the functionality I need.
I know both the BOR type ID and the object ID is
available to me in the Execute() method of the GOS menu handler I'm overriding, but for the ARCHIV_CONNECTION_INSERT, I'm supposed to supply an AR_OBJECT parameter (I know that this information is stored in the TOAOM table), but I have no clue where to get this information for the current object I'm trying to add an attachment for.

Line Item fields for output determination?

Hi Gurus,
we are having this dilemma. we want to create an output type for Purchas Orders which will be automatically triggered thru condition records. however, the criteria should include PLANT and MATERIAL GROUP which we all know as part of Line Item Details.
our problem now is that when the output types are created, our output is not created because the PLANT and MATERIAL GROUP criteria is not satisfied. it is empty.
is there a way to fix this? i'm thinking maybe some abap code or badi to force the value to the kompbea structure can do the trick (as the criteria came from this) but we have tried this and the kompbea field does not get populated.
any ideas? abap fix and configuration is most welcome. <removed by moderator>

we just facing the already discussed issue that a PO within PLANT from PO-item-level should be part of the PO-output determination. Which userexits have to manipulated to get field PLANT into structure KOMKBEA_FILL especially when PO is still not saved (NO EKKO/EKPO information available) but message is already determined with status "NOT PROCESSED"???

Use subroutine USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION in Include MV45AFZZ.
Make sure this is for only tcodes VA41 and VA42 because this wil trigger for sales order also.

User exit at billing and sales document level

Hi,
Like we use a quantity contract through that we create resource related billing order and thn do the billing of that order but in the resource related billing order user enters the data manually which can exceeds the quantity of the contract.
Now we want to put a check at the billing document level where system should throw an error message whenever total qauntity fo the billing document exceeds the contract quantity.
So which user exit should i use?
How to find a user exit or screen exit for a particular tab in a transaction like in VA41 at the item level in the sales B tab we want user should enter a field to a certain level.

Fields in sales order item level for pricing

I have a requirement wherein i need at least 3 additional fields at the item level in the Sales Order for pricing determination i.e i want this field to be used in the condition table. Since these fields should have list of values also, I find the fields Material group1, material group2 and material group3 ideal ones. I wont be using this field in the material master but inputting some data in these fields through development at the sales order level. How can i get these fields in the catalog? Please suggest.

The following communication structures are relevant in pricing:
KOMK (pricing communication header)
KOMP (pricing communication item)
KOMG (allowed fields for condition structures)
For technical reasons, communication structure KOMG is used. It combines the fields from KOMK and KOMP that are relevant for pricing in the standard system and are offered in the field catalog of condition tables. If you want to use a new field in the field catalog, you must add the field to KOMP or KOMK in the following INCLUDES:
header data in INCLUDE KOMKAZ in KOMK
item data in INCLUDE KOMPAZ in KOMP
When you use INCLUDES, the field is automatically added to KOMG and the field catalog.
The routines for assigning values to the new fields in order processing are found in member MV45AFZZ. Use the following user exits:
USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMK (header fields)
USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP (item fields)
The routines for assigning values to the new fields in billing are found in member RV60AFZZ. Use the following user exits:
USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMK (header fields)
USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP (item fields)
Examples for using new fields in pricing
Example 1
In the first example, parts of a document field are to be used in pricing. You want to use the first three digits of the product hierarchy (PRODH) for pricing, for example. Proceed as follows:
1. Check the data elements in the standard system.
2. Since there is no such data element you have to create the new data element ZZPRODH1. Also create a domain with the length "3" and the data type "CHAR" for the new data element.
Remember that new data fields must start with the letters "ZZ" or "YY", since SAP reserved these letters to protect them from being overwritten during a release upgrade.
3. Check whether the product hierarchy (PRODH) is found at header or at item level.
In table VBAP, document field PRODH is defined as an item field.
4. Integrate the field name ZZPRODH in the communication structure KOMP using the INCLUDE KOMPAZ and allocate the data element PRODH to it.
5. Activate the structure.
6. Check in which table the field PRODH exists.
The field is in table VBAP (sales document: item data).
7. Assign a value to the new field in the FORM routines for sales order processing and billing using the appropriate user exits:
In sales order processing the user exit is found in member MV45AFZZ. The complete statement is:
FORM USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP.
MOVE VBAP-PRODH(3) TO TKOMP-ZZPRODH.
ENDFORM.
The routines for assigning a value to the new fields in billing are found in member RV60AFZZ. The statement is as follows:
FORM USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMK
MOVE XVBRP-PRODH(3) TO TKOMP-ZZPRODH.

User exit - VA01 - Adding new line items while Sales Order Creation

I have a requirement where : in VA01 , i have to add new line items using USER EXIT or BADI.
The scenario is : we maintain Characteristics for Material. When we select a particular characteristics, Factor and length will be displayed in a Popup. we can specify the Factor and lenght.
Here , if i specify Factor as 10 and lenght as 1000. the Material has to be cut / split into 10 items of 1000 mts each. and the ITEMs table control should get 10 ITEMS .

How to use user exit to complete the PR item valuation price?

Hi Experts,
I am working on a user exit about Purchase requisition and the description is as following:
In standard SAP, the Purchase Requisition (PR) is an internal document to translate a pur-chasing requirement. Standard, at the moment of a PR, no supplier is known and therefore no purchase price is known.
In standard SAP, the purchase price and price conditions are introduced in the Purchase Or-der (PO); these fields are not available in the PR. Instead, the PR contains an estimated valuation price per item, this is the historic purchasing price (standard price or moving aver-age price).
For the GFP project, the purchase price needs to be introduced in the PR. This is due to the fact that budget reservations are made for PRu2019s. Therefore, each PR needs to have a correct purchasing value. As budget forecasting also takes into account the tax (VAT), the PR value needs to be VAT inclusive.
The goal of this development is to ensure that the user does not need to complete the PR item valuation price manually. Instead, this field should be filled with the item contract or info record price.
The purpose of this development is to extract the correct purchasing price from the agree-ment / info record when applicable. Thus:
u2022If the user does not assign a source to an item, do not overwrite the item valuation price
u2022If the user assigns a source to an item based on an agreement, use the agreement number and item to extract the purchasing item price
u2022If the user assigns a source to an item based on an info record, use the info record number and purchasing organisation to extract the purchasing item price
The enhancement trigger is the assignment of a source of supply by selecting a certain pur-chasing agreement (contract) or a certain info record.

SO Pricing User Exit - How to know which item is selected for re-pricing.

Hello Experts,
I have to modify material data when user does a update pricing in VA02, the problem is...How do I know which item is selected for re-pricing (in MV45AFZZ)? I am using user exit USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP.
For Ex: If my order has 3 items and 2nd one is selected and then 'Update' is done on 'conditions' tab. Above pricing user exit is triggered 3 times for all items, so I cant check XVBAP.

If you see in debug mode, xvbap-posnr and tkomp-kposn will have 10,20,30 everytime (for 3 times). How do I know if user has selected 20?

User-exit on FBL5 customer line item display

Hello.
A customer has a payment term of 5% 10 days, 2% 15 days, net 30 days.
SAP provides RFPOS-ZALDT as the 1st cash discount date (invoice date + 10 days). However, there is no field that would show the 2nd cash discount date (invoice date + 15 days).
Is there a user-exit that would allow me to show the 2nd cash discount date in FBL5?

i think this wont be possible as coz it may keep on extending like for 15 dayz,30 dayz etc..
the only thing u could do is you can use the field RFPOS-ZALDT for displaying the values like 15,30 etc based on the condition using some exits.
