    Try logging out of your account on the phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it
    If that doesn't work then you might need to contact Apple : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

    Is this your machine or the company's?  Machines that came with Snow Leopard or earlier installed come with system and software install disks that can be used to reisntall the iApps that came with the machine orignally.
    If this is your machine and it came with Snow Leopard or earlier installed the disk will look slimialr to one of these:
    If it is the company's machine see if they have the disks.
    Do a custom install and then use Software Update to update iPhoto to the highest version that is available.

  • Be careful of "Prompt user to change password before expiration" policy -- it's counting the days wrong!!

    After several tests, I'm pretty sure that the policy "Interactive logon: Prompt user to change password before expiration" is counting the wrong days. (Note: this policy is in Windows Settings > Security Settings > Local Policies > Security
    Options)  So I think I should post this in the forum in the hope that it could be helpful to others in the same case as me, esp if the policy is pushed out as a domain-wide policy.
    First, the context of the test, ie domain-wide policy settings:
    1. Password minimum age = 2 days
    2. Password maximum age = 4 days
    3. Prompt user to change password before expiration = 2 days
    If everything is going fine, users will be asked to change password when it is changeable (ie it has reached the minimum age).  However, it turns out that users are prompted BEFORE they can change password.  Look at the image below that I got in
    Win7:
    (In WinXP, we have similar prompt when user has just logged in)
    Look at the clock: it's 13:16 (04/12/2013).  Then look at the DOS window in which I ran the "net user /domain" command and read the line "Password expires": it's shown
    06/12/2013 18:09:04.
    A little math would tell me that if users are prompted to change password *2 days* before expiration, the dialog will appear
    ONLY AFTER 04/12/2013 18:09:04.  But since the prompt is shown at 13:16 (ie well before 18:09), that mean the "prompt user...." policy makes mistakes in calculating the moment to show the prompt.
    In other words, if we have the policy set like this:
         Prompt user to change password before expiration =
    N days
    The prompt will actually appear from N+1 days before expiration.
    I would consider this as a bug, but I also suppose it's hard to make Microsoft fix it.  So that's why I make this post to warn others.  In my case, I have received several calls from users complaining that they were prompted to change password
    but their new passwords were always refused and they had no idea what went wrong.  And it took me a lot of effort to sort out what really went wrong.  And in order to work around this stupid bug, I have to change the "Prompt user...." policy
    to N-1 days (before expiration) instead of N days previously.
    Hope this help

    Hi,
    Based on my research, you are right that the prompt policy is implemented by date, which is by design.
    “Set
    Interactive logon: Prompt user to change password before expiration to 5 days. When their password expiration
    date is 5 or fewer days away, users will see a dialog box each time they log on to the domain”, I quoted this sentence from the article below:
    Interactive logon: Prompt user to change password before expiration
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj852243.aspx
    The problem is consistency!  For Minimum/Maximum password age properties, they are also defined for
    days as well.  But for them, days are exact days, ie a
    multiple of exactly 24 hours.  There is an "Explain" tab for every parameter, but even if you read them through, you can't tell if day means strict multiple of 24 hours or loose definition of days.  I'll leave the exercise to you to read
    them if you like and spare me the article from your KB library.
    As for the password minimum age part, what I mean is that is why users can’t not change their password within 2 days when the prompt appears before the changeable time.
    Anyway, I agree with you that we need to be careful when we configure the password policy because the Prompt policy is not doing calculation by hours.
    Miss, the 2 days is just a TEST EXAMPLE.  Let's say it's
    N days if you was unable to understand.  I wouldn't change N days to N-1 days because of this stupid GUI bug.  As I said earlier and let me repeat it once more,
    Minimum password age = N days is a security policy and it is more important than the user prompt and no security officer with sane mind will change this.

  • User must change password at next logon?

    Hello,
    We have an XMII / LDAP connection to AD. (Both read and write). But when ever we set a user in our AD to change password at next logon, they get block from logging into Xmii.
    The funny part about this is if we do the following:
    1: User login into Xmii
    2: Administratator on AD controller, sets the flag  "User must change password on next logon"
    3: User selects Logout.
    Now the user gets promt of changing his/her password.
    Anyway to fix this?

    Well we have some clients that doesn't use the same login to MII and for their workstation.
    Basicly i want so whenever i set the flag "User must change password at nextlogon" in AD, I want MII to see that and make the user change his or her password in the portal.

  • Change Password to pin

    What happened to change sign-in options in Windows 10 Tech Preview? The sign-in options page under account in PC settings only has the ability to change password.  If I go to PC Settings\Users and Accounts\Sign-in Options, am I try to change password
    for pin authentication nothing happen

    Hi,
    First, I would like to confirm with you which edition of Windows 10 Tech preview you have installed, the Tech preview or the Tech preview for Enterprise.
    You can check the edition by right clicking the Start Icon, and choosing System, please find your Windows version there.
    I have 2 VMs in Hyper-v, one has Windows 10 Technical Preview installed, and another has Windows 10 Technical Preview for Enterprise installed.
    I noticed that the Enterprise version has such options, but Windows 10 Technical Preview has no such option. So far, this feature was removed from non-Enterprise Tech preview version.
    However, the good news is that Windows 10 is just in test, we can post the feedback for feature changes or requests in Windows Feedback app (Search Feedback on Start menu, and open Windows Feedback)

  • The UI is so UGLY an there are no options to change this.

    For me and the mayority of people i know, the user interface is completity UGLY. With Windows 10 is more UGLY too changing the desktop icons.
    Simple, plain, flat, lack of constrast between areas, terrible an heavy colors, bad icons seens to developed by a three years old baby.
    Also Windows 10, as same as Windows 8.x has no options to change this.
    Windows 7 has options to change all of this an select if you want transparencies, aero and more OR NOT. Windows 8.x and 10 has NO OPTIONS.
    The Advanced Appearance Settings is removed in Windows 8.x and 10 in order to configure desktop with things, like for example, change the grid size of the desktop in order to align icons.
    Since 1990, all monitor are in color, and since 2000 the vast mayority of video cards support True Color (32 Bits) and i dont like an never use an OS that looks likes Windows 1.0 or 2.0. I want colors, degraded colors, transparencies, rounded borders, full
    color 3D icons, shadows, effects, and more. I want to see diferents color in diferents areas of a Windows like in Windows XP or all versions of Office except 2013.
    Who develops the LOGON ICON?
    If someone on my company presents a design like the Windows 8.x or 10 logon icon is inmeditly fired. But Microsoft sells a product with this horrible design who someone develop in less than a minute,
    but I do not think anyone has such bad taste
    to bother it or check it.
    ALL MODERN/Metro Design, including the Microsoft and Windows logo, the Web design and all, are UGLY. Very UGLY with NO OPTIONS to change this.
    I respect all people who like this simple and minilastist design, but i ask those people respect us for all that i not like that design.

    The Advanced Appearance Settings is removed in Windows 8.x and 10 in order to configure desktop with things, like for example, change the grid size of the desktop in order to align icons.
    I agree with this part, unless it was moved somewhere else. I'd be nice to have a few more desktop customization options.

  • How to enable change password feature in SAP Netweaver Portal 7?

    Hi experts,
    I would like to provide a change password link just beside the logout link after user had successfully logged in to Sap Netweaver portal. When user clicks that link, a change password screen sill appear to allow user to change his/her password.
    Question:
    1) How do i create a link in portal header just beside the logout link?
    2) Is there any default change password page for Sap Netweaver Portal that I can use for this purpose?
    Thanks,
    Kenneth

    Hi,
    To get the change password link beside logout, get the masthead PAR file from portal, import into your NWDS, make the changes in the JSP and upload PAR file back to portal. Search with keyword "Masthead customization" in SDN. You will get many documents to achieve.
    SAP has password change functionality available. Chekc the link below for details.

  • Issue in redirecting to change password

    Hi
    I am working on IDM 7.0.I have the following requirement.
    I need to have two links in login.jsp. One for forgot userid and another for forgot password. Inorder to implement this I developed a new custom login.jsp. I have all the functionalities working fine except
    1) When the admin resets a user password,and then the user tries to login, the change password page is not displayed only the error meesage is getting displayed.
    2) When the user clicks forgot your Password link after the user answers the security question page, the change password page is not getting displayed (In system configuration I have set bypasschangepassword to false.) but instead its getting redirected to
    http://localhost:port/idm/user/login.jsp?lang=en&cntry=US&command=fromQuestion
    In login.jsp I have two input fields for username and password. On submit a new jsp is called where I retrieve the username and password and use getSession to create the session and then redirect to main.jsp.
    I am missing out some logic in my login.jsp.I would really appreciate if anyone could give me some ideas.
    Thanks,
    Vinu

    If you upgrade to v7.1 you will have all those features and more - PLUS a lot of defective pieces have been fixed in 7.1

  • Change Password on first use does not work properly.

    I have created apex application user in Oracle Apex 3.2 as follows
    BEGIN
    APEX_UTIL.CREATE_USER(
    p_user_name => 'NEWUSER1',
    p_web_password => 'secret99');
    END;
    As in the documentation
    p_change_password_on_first_use  IN      VARCHAR2    DEFAULT 'Y',
    User should be prompted to change password at first use. But it does not work properly. There is no such message. Still accepts user to log in with old passord that was first given to the user. I have tried explicitly to ensure change password at first log in. by
    BEGIN
    APEX_UTIL.CREATE_USER(
    p_user_name => 'NEWUSER1',
    p_web_password => 'secret99',
    p_change_password_on_first_use =>'Y');
    END;
    Still does not work. How can I ensure user to change password on first login.

    Might be a long way around the problem but I would utilize a boolean flag in a column (FIRST_LOGIN) your custom auth table set to 'Y' when you create their account. Then on the login page have a page process something like:
    ** NOT TESTED **
    declare
    v_first VARCHAR2(10;
    v_session NUMBER;
    begin
    v_session := APEX_CUSTOM_AUTH.GET_NEXT_SESSION_ID;
    select FIRST_LOGIN into v_first from AUTH_TABLE where user_name = :P101_USERNAME and :P101_PASSWORD;
    if v_first = 'Y' then
    wwv_flow_custom_auth_std.login(
    P_UNAME => :P101_USERNAME,
    P_PASSWORD => :P101_PASSWORD,
    P_SESSION_ID => v_session,
    P_FLOW_PAGE => :APP_ID||':2' *** THIS IS YOUR PAGE TO HAVE THEM RESET THEIR PASSWORD ***
    else
    wwv_flow_custom_auth_std.login(
    P_UNAME => :P101_USERNAME,
    P_PASSWORD => :P101_PASSWORD,
    P_SESSION_ID => v_session,
    P_FLOW_PAGE => :APP_ID||':1' *** MAIN LOGIN PAGE *****
    EXCEPTION WHEN OTHERS THEN
    *** handled **
    end;
    The page 2 in this example would have an few items for them to enter their new password twice, a page process to update their password in the auth table and then redirect them to the intended first page.
    Not sure if it meets your setup.

  • Want to select which video player to use. FF22 mobile has no "options" in the tools

    only get default video. Neither settings nor tools in ff has an option to change this. app manager says ff is using the default. I have Dice video player, MX video player, and android stock video player but I'm constrained to using ff's default.
    I'm using a Samsung galaxy note 10.1 with 4.1.2 jelly bean and ff 22.
    i don't care for flash but just FYI the site you provide for Adobe to download an older version of flash does not work for this mobile device.
    thanks for any help you can offer.

    You can download and save the video by long tapping on the playing video to open it in a 3rd party player.
    We are not going to embed 3rd party video players inside Firefox. That would be plugin behavior (like Flash) the web is moving away from that sort of behavior.
