User Interfaces: Is the ain~ui~mobile Package in AII 2.1 still available?

Hello!
During my studies on the outbound scenario script, I found out that there must exist an ainuimobile WebDynPro application for tagging and packing via mobile reader.
This application is mentioned nowhere in the documentation. Just the obviously older process script uses a link to this application. I didn't found an entry for ainuimobile in the Web Dynpro Content Administrator screen. There is just the ainsodesktop package available. When I try the /MobileReaderApplication on the ainuimobile package, I get a lot of errors. Even when I try the /MobileReaderApplication on the ainsodesktop package, I get errors.
My question is: Is the ainuimobile package or something similar in AII 2.1 available? Has it been removed from 2.0 to 2.1? If this ships with AII 2.1, why isn't it installed with the standard installation?

Hi Haakon,
single component export/import is only supported for application which are identical on the source and target system. It relies on the fact that other referenced components (for example user interface, templates, ...) use the same IDs on body systems.
Because of the APEX 4.2 upgrade, that's not the case anymore. As part of the upgrade, several new components had to be created on the fly which do now have different IDs on dev and prod. That's why the single component export/import doesn't work anymore.
If the single component export/import is used to patch applications, it's recommended to do a full export of the app on dev and import it into prod after upgrading to a newer version of APEX to make sure that body systems are using the same component IDs. After that your single component deployment should work as before.

User interface for the CAF project

             to make user interface for the CAF i have written a simple
webservice application for storing the data in the database using JDBC operation

Couple of things - you can open the interface for any instrument or plug-in by double-clicking its insert slot on the channel strip. You can configure Logic to automatically open the interface for a plug-in when you first instantiate it in the preferences. Go to Logic Pro > Preferences > Display > Mixer, and check the box for "Open plug-in window on insertion".

I do not see the user interface for the Logic software instruments. I can hear them play through my midi keyboard but I cannot see them to adjust parameters. Please advise.

This is relatively trivial to implement yourself. Handle the UIMessageEvent of the ApplicationMgr and when you get a trace UIMessage do something like the following:

Want to create Graphic User Interface with Adobe CC but which package is best to use?

I have a CC subscription and (instead of finding yet another package to use) figured there should be something I can use to create the icons needed. Would appreciate being pointed in the right direction regarding which software within the CC suite I could use.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.
When you do this, you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this happens, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Is the JDeveloper 11.1.1.0.0 Build 5156 still available anywhere

After downloading and installing the 5188 build of JDeveloper, different pieces of my program stopped working. All related to DVT graphs and timeSelector's. Therefore I was wondering where I could download the 5156 build at since the JAR's that shipped with it work fine for me. I will have to isolate the underlying problem later, but for now I just need a working program.

Issue in the user interface of ICSS application

Hi Experts,
Please find the below description of the issue.
Ours is a migration project of ICSS application from one landscape to another landscape. Both the landscapes are in CRM 7.0 with the same patch levels.
For this migration we have copied the existing track A to the new track B and mapped to the new CRM 7.0 B system.
The XCM setting has maintained in the new B system exactly the same way like the A system
All the related backend code like FMs, Data Dictionary objects etc in CRM 7.0 A system has been moved to the CRM 7.0 B System.
   After this when we tried to run the application B, we are not seeing the same user interface like in application A.
   We are seeing only black font with white background. The color combination, fonts, styles etc like in application A are not visible in application B.
There are no CSS files in the XCM settings in A system. So I have also not maintained in B system.
We have not done any changes in the track. So we have not deployed the application.
I have created the projects for both the tracks A and B and compared the code manually. Everything is same.
Question:
   Please let me know what needs to be done additionally to get the same user interface.
   Is Shopadmin settings has to be maintained. Is this mandatory.

I would recommend that you go ahead and install the Chinese fonts to your OS (if you have not already), and develop your user interface using the new font. This application should have no problem on any other machine with the Chinese font enabled.

This is most probably the result of metadata corruption on runtime.
A possible workaround for this situation is:
Undeploy all the metadata DCs of all the CAF applications you have
deployed (these are the components which names end on "/metadata", excl.
caf/core/metadata and caf/tc/metadata (which are part of CAF itself)).
And then deploy the CAF applications again.

Why oh why was it fixed when it wasn't broken..the user interface

This is a serious error on Apples part to alter the way this critical program operates
its like taking away critical controls from an automobile...like the steering wheel
Its that bad its at the level like Microsoft would have done.
It may operate with all the same features...but where are they...not on the iTunes desktop
where one could surf iTunes to look at, get, explore
big mistake & an even bigger one not to listen to customers...

Sorry I just cant see how you can compare iTunes 10.7 & iTunes 11 - yuo are in the minority !!
Everyone I speak to has the same view on this:
That 11 hasnt the same user interface & controlability.For me this is fundamental in the way I used iTunes to "surf" what was available from what I already had.I find the way I have to go through things in a list poor to unusable. OK Apple may want to have the same interface accrooss the whole product platform - but why the capability of a Mac with a omplete keyboard & larger screen allows for more possibilities than say an iPhone which I reackong any user will realise & accept...basically the iTunes on mac platform has been dumbed down & is now far less capable
The search "engine" that hasnt got fields to select to narrow down or focus a search is just riduculous & it doesnt work that well as whats comes back has to be searched through again.
Using iTunes 10.7 & before was an "adventure" into music or material you knew & you found things you didnt know about & to do this was easy & enjoyable. Ifound previosly I could find a single track out there quickly & also explore.
Whats happened is fundamentally bad - lets give a comparison - say if the whole user interface of the MacOS or write was altered, made significantly different...everyday tasks that you could do before had to be re learnt or just couldnt be done.
Even Microsoft are carefull about making changes to the way things work & the way that a user interfaces with this...one carefull step at a time OK Microsoft "things" have to recieve this type of carefull scrutiny & adjustment - but Microsoft onthe whole take thier customers with them. Learning point that Apple have yet to realise & learn from
Previous to this from Lion to Mountain Lion there was Frontrow a simple little program that gave a feature that me for one used (& enjoyed) regularly.....on the Mac doing something important...take a break, relax & enjoy some music...one press of the remote & you had all you music & videos there to be used...like a big iPod...really ver good. Finished relaxing or taking a break get back to work just where you left off, an impressive feature that was taken awy & replaced with NOTHING.
So for me at least the usability & functionallity of the Apple experience has deteriorated...for no appreciable gain....for just a commonality of controls accross the products.
Its called "change for changes sake" & in this case the customers werent consulted they were totally ignored in being left with something that is retrograde.
The very fact that I am here with others making comment is proof postive that the situation is a definate backwards step. I just hope that for Apple its a "blip" i.e. an error that will realised & corrected...
I have been using Apple products from 1989...I am not a Microsoft refugeee or reluctant convert who is throwing mud..just the opposite in my family we have:
4 Macbook Pros,
an iMac,
4 iPods,
4 iPhones
Apple TV
all backed up ona time capsule.
We have lived through the bad times & good...I realise that Steve Jobs cant come back...but I am sure he would have listed & then gone back to the teams & forced the change backs through.

Can you change size of fonts in premiere pro user interface -- the text is often so small it is hard to read

The text is often so small it is hard to read. It would be nice if as in the Blender animation program you can easily increase the size of fonts used in the program's user interface, through the "preferences" menu item.

Customize / Modify the Admin User Interface

Hi.
I know that a couple of other people have already posted this question here. But, so far there haven't been any responses.
Is it possible that it is simply IMPOSSIBLE to modify the Administrator User Interface?
The main Admin User Interface looks like this :
HOME --- ACCOUNTS --- PASSWORDS ---- WORK ITEMS ---- SERVER TASKS
Where and how can this interface be customized (if, for example, I want to remove a couple of those Tabs) ?

Believe me, if there was another way to do this, besides fiddling with the "Bodystart.jsp", I would gladly do it. I really do not want to mess around with JSP files, especially after what just happened (When I inserted that code, and tried to re-run IDM, my browser did not even open. I got an error message, saying that the JSP had been "contaminated". I quickly deleted all that mess I'd put there)
I actually hoped that it would be possible to do this somehow, through the Roles and/or Security Functions (as Sec_Tk suggested earlier in this posting).
However, as I mentioned, the administrators I created do not have any capabilities beyond merely *"Create, Delete, Update, View--User"*
Unless there is somewhere else I need to modify capabailties?

Using SPML to create a custom end user interface?

We are trying to create a custom end user interface which uses SPML to communicate with our IDM server. The issue we have is whether there is a way to login to IDM from this end user interface as the end user, or at least run the end user functionality such as password changes and authentication question setup as the end user without giving all end users SPML capabilities. Right now we have created a special SPML user account and we have given that user broad capabilities. We are able to change passwords and set questions but the auditing just shows the SPML user as the subject for all these actions.

It looks like you are absolutely right.
I also cannot find that zlman option.
So it looks like you are the first that needs it.
We use zlman to create bundles and add packages when we build them in our rpm build environment, but at that time that are always new packages that need top be uploaded. So the bundle-add-package is what we use, but that doesn't help with packages in the repository.
So I would write a enhancement request for it ...

As a workaround, not a nice one of course, you can search for the package in the repository and upload it once again. It should recognize that and create just the package links to the bundle. Not nice, but it seems to be the only option for now.
