User license agreement
hi,
I have a Mac OS 10.8.4. Player Version 11.8.800.94 and a safari browser. I can download Adobe flash player but when I try to open a document it says I need to agree to the user license agreement, quit, and re open the browser. I did that and it still does not work. Help!
Thank you,
Tristin

I am using a Mac and have installed Adobe Reader for Mac, latest version. I cannot access the End User Licensing Agreement. I clicked on it and it gives me a message that I must launch Adobe, check that I agree, close and reopen. The problem is I can't find any way to launch Adobe because it appears nowhere on my launch pad, nor in my document files or on the control panel. Because of this, I cannot print bank statements nor can I get into my insurance companies billing department to make a payment. HELP!
How about in your Applications folder?

I am getting this response when I am trying to open a file: Before viewing PDF documents in this browser you must launch Adobe Reader and accept the End User License Agreement, then Quit and relaunch the browser.” What do I do? I have opened this up in the past without a problem.
Back up all data.
If Adobe Reader or Acrobat is installed, there should be a setting in its preferences such as Display PDF in Browser. I don't use those applications myself, so I can't be more precise. Deselect that setting, if it's selected. Otherwise do as follows.
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it, the copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C):
/Library/Internet Plug-ins
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste into the text box that opens (command-V), then press return.
From the folder that opens, remove any items that have "Adobe" or “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari, and test.
The "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can also interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you may need to remove it as well, if it's present. The same goes for a plugin called "iGetter," and perhaps others.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again. -
Acrobat Pro XI problem+Accept End User License Agreement when opening a PDF inside IE
Hi folks, this issue has been challenging.
Acrobat Pro CC install
W7 X64
Deployment went ok after the code was worked out, but.....
We use Desire to Learn content management system at the community college where I maintain the student computers at. When running D2L and a PDF has been embedded in some course material, I am getting the message below and the PDF won't open.
“Before proceeding you must first launch Adobe Acrobat and accept the End User License Agreement" .
The only fix so far is to run up Acrobat Pro and run the program once. Fine and dandy, but we are looking at 700+ machines to clear in this fashion. The other part of this scenario we we also utilize Respondus Lockdown Browser to invigilate exams through D2L. Because of the "lock down" features, the student can't even get back to the desktop to run Acrobat and clear the message.
I have tried a number of GPO entries to no avail. As well, disabled the IE PDF viewer add-on. I ran Procmon with no results either; .
I have been scouring the Googlemachine and building on the GPO below to get around the issue with no results. I am hoping someone with a sharper eye than I can spot something or point me in the correct direction..
Thanks eh.

Try using APTEE to do EULA suppression and check.

I am unable to open any pdf files because I have not accepted the end user licensing agreement for adobe reader. I can not find the accept button. I have a mac.

Whenever I try to view a PDF file, I'm getting the error message "Before viewing PDF documents in this browser you must launch Adobe Reader and accept the End User License Agreement, then Quit and relaunch the browser." I have the new Adobe Reader but am still getting this message.
Even after launching Reader and accepting the EULA? Most strange.

How do I accept end user license agreement in adobe reader?
I have just updated the Operation System on my iMac from OS 10.6.8 to OS 10.9.4. Safari was updated to 7.0.5. When I attempt to open a pdf in Safari, I get a notice that:
Before viewing PDF documents in this browser you must launch Adobe Reader and accept the End User License Agreement, then Quit and relaunch the browser.
I have not been able to find any way to accept the End User License Agreement. How can I do this.
I can open pdfs in Chrome without any problems.
Thank you,
Don MonroeHi,
Go to 'Spotlight' at the top right corner of the Mac > Type Reader> Launch the 'Adobe Reader' application and then click on 'Accept' on the End User License Agreement.

And... did you do what the message tells you?

Nothing to do with the download; you need to open Adobe Reader once after the install is complete, and accept the EULA. -
End User License Agreement + Safari 7
I get this message when trying to open a PDF in Safari 7.0.2 in OS 10.9.2
Before proceeding you must first launch Adobe Acrobat and accept the End User License Agreement.
Please advise ASAP
I spent my entire day trying to find an aswer how to slove this question. Your "chat support" is certinly not very helpful.Odd...
I'd recommend:
1. Download and install Reader - http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
or
2. Go to: Mac HD/Library/Internet Plug-ins and trash the AdobePDFViewer.plugin and AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin files and let Preview be your default viewer for PDFs in Safari.
The former being easier and better of the two. -
Everytime i try opening a pdf this message comes up "Before viewing PDF documents in this browser you must launch Adobe Reader and accept the End User License Agreement, then Quit and relaunch the browser" I have no idea where to find this agreement to accept it.
If you are in Windows (which we don't know), you can try using Windows Explorer to navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, then double-click on Eula.exe and accept the license agreement. In Mac, with Reader closed, go to your Applications folder, double click on the Reader icon, and follow the lead.

Im trying to open a document but im getting a message that i have to launch adobe reader and accept user licensing agreement and then relaunch adobe reader I tried that and the same message keeps appearing. Help?
Unless there is a special function in Adobe Reader that you require then try opening the document with Preview. I don't have Adobe Reader installed on my computers and find Preview does all I require.

Each time I try to open a PDF in Safari I am directed to this message:
"Before proceeding you must first launch Abobe Acrobat and accept the End User License Agreement".
This prevents me from viewing the PDF in a Safari window, or downloading the PDF file to my computer and viewing it.
No such option to "accept End User License Agreement" is avialable when I launch Adobe Acrobat. This problem has only occured since I undertook a trial of Adobe CC, and subsequently uninstalled it after deciding not to proceed with a license.
I do have Adobe 9 Acrobat Pro and Adobe Suite CS4 fully licened and operational on my Mac. I have never had this problem prior to trialing Adobe CC.If launching Adobe Reader doesn't help, try this.
1. Check the Applications folder carefully - put it into alphabetical order NOT icons. See if there is more than one Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat. If so, start each one in turn. Notice whether the message says "Adobe Reader" or "Adobe Acrobat" too.
2. If that doesn't help, even after quitting all the apps (Safari and Adobe Reader), downloading and installing again is worth a try. This will not make the message go away! But it might cause the license agreement to appear properly. -
Hi i have an iMac with 10.9.3 and when i tried to open a PDF link or a PDF document in Safari 7.0.4 this message appears: "Before proceeding you must first launch Adobe Acrobat and accept the End User License Agreement". What can i do to solve this?
Back up all data before making any changes.
Please take each of the following steps until the problem is resolved.
Step 1
If Adobe Reader or Acrobat is installed, and the problem is just that you can't print or save PDF's displayed in Safari, you may be able to do so by moving the cursor to the the bottom edge of the page, somewhere near the middle. A black toolbar should appear under the cursor. Click the printer or disk icon.
Step 2
There should be a setting in the preferences of the Adobe application such as Display PDF in Browser. I don't use those applications myself, so I can't be more precise. Deselect that setting, if it's selected.
Step 3
If you get a message such as ""Adobe Reader blocked for this website," then from the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
and check the box marked
Allow Plug-ins
Then click
Manage Website Settings...
and make any required changes to the security settings for the Adobe PDF plugin.
Step 4
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it, the copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:
/Library/Internet Plug-ins
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste into the text box that opens by pressing command-V, then press return.
From the folder that opens, move to the Trash any items that have "Adobe" or “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari.
Step 5
The "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you may need to remove it, if it's present. The same goes for a plugin called "iGetter," and perhaps others—I don't have a complete list. Don't remove Silverlight if you use the "Netflix" video-streaming service.
Step 6
Do as in Step 4 with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari. -
Using Google Chrome, when attempting to open a PDF document, the following message appears:
Before viewing PDF documents in this browser you must first launch Adobe Reader and accept the End User License Agreement, then Quit and relaunch the browser.
