User license mass change

We need to classify many of our users in many systems as multi-client.
If you do an individual SU01 change on the license tab then multi-client is an option on the drop down.
However if you do a mass change (SU10) the multi-client is not on the drop down!
The same problem applies if we try to do a mass change with the system measurement transaction USMM i.e. multi-system is not on the contractual user type drop down.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to find out where the SU01/SU10/USMM contractual user dropdowns are controlled?

You will need to look at the config of the IO group to see which fields can be changed.
Make sure the relevant fields can be changed.
Then perform a LSMW on the change IO Master
This will allow you to perfrom a mass change on the IO.

We are looking to try to purchase an additional 5 user licenses for our Novell SBS v6.5 setup. So far the Novell reseller has told us this is not possible and we "MUST" upgrade to NOW.
Can you tell me who you discussed this with at Novell to find you could do what you have done and apply the MLA license from media part number 892-000416. I dont want to go ahead with purchasing NOW licenses and that media if it will not work or is illegal.

OK. Finally my media has arrived. The right p/n is 892-000416.
On the Netware 6.5 SP7 Operating System CD I have found a LICENSE
directory containing the .nlf file described in TID #7000769. Exactly as
Novell customer response explained on the phone.
I followed the TID, rebooted the server, and so far I am a happy camper.
Since after the new license installation the User Licensing Model
changes to "Audited" there is no concern about the physical user
licenses compatibility. Per Novell's advice I purchased additional NOWS
licenses.
I read carefully the new Novell Software License Agreement provided in
the same LICENSE directory and it sounds like that is all I need to do.
If somebody is about to install the new unlimited license I would
definitely recommend to read Joe Collins' posting in another thread

yes, it's easy - change a machine to the desktop you want (the image must be on all the machines, with the same name, of course), find ~/library/preferences/com.apple.desktop.plist Copy that to your server (or just put it on a flash drive) In workgroup manager select preferences - details - "add". Navigate to that plist. (Optional - hit "edit" and cut and past from "often" to "always", then the user cannot change the desktop at all, if you leave it in "often" it will reset next log-on.)

Mass change the steps user in released SM37 jobs

I wonder if there is a possibility to mass change the user entered in the steps overview of a released job.
I know that in the Table TBTCS the Jobowner is saved and in TBTCP I can view the user entered in the steps overview but only for jobs which have already been executed, does anyone of you know which table keeps the steps user for a released job?

Yes, I know but this table does not contain the owner of the steps executed by the Job, only the job owner. The step owner is saved in TBTCP, but in this table I am only able to identify the already executed jobs not the relesed ones...Regards Florian Wittmann

User roles were deleted for the mass change in CUA system.

Dear Team,
I have assigned a role to a set of users in CUA via SU10 to a specific child system, as like I have executed the task 3 to 4 times for the assignment of the different roles to a set of users and some users may repeated in each execution .
And when I check in child system after few hours the old roles were deleted and contains the role which I have assigned in the mass change.
It was happened only to few users not more than 20 users, then I expected that may be the users who get repeated in SU10 more than one time for the different role assignment it get impacted.
But that is not a problem, because I verified some of the users who repeated more than one time in child system and they didnu2019t get deleted the old roles and it was appended with the new role to the existing rights of the user.
Still some of the IDOC were showing in SCUL transaction with Yellow signal triangle shape
So please help me out what would be the issue.

It is a problem related to IDOC issue. Please contact Basis Team regarding pushing of the Idocs. I am giving an over view of the steps that needs to be executed for idoc push. Please contact Basis with the same.
Run RBDAGAIN report (se38)
Give Idocs and save as variant.
Now go to sm36 specify a job name and start.
This will change the Idoc status from 02 to 30. For 03 to 30 it needs a different report. Please check and let me know if any issue. As long as idocs are not pushed properly it will give an error. At times also check the CUA user is ok or not. It gets locked at times. To know which one is the CUA user->Login to child system->su01->See the change executed by the user->Get the user name.

Yes, you can do mass change to accounting editing options of several users at a time with the help of your BASIS consultant.
Go to SU10
Enter all of your user names
Select all
choose change button
Parameters Tab
Add Parameter FO3
Enter parameter value as ' 2'
SAVE
Choose YES
Note: your parameter value SPACE+2 (' 2')
Done

SAP license: mass update

Hello Experts,
I have about 200 users for which I need to update the SAP license in our Business Warehouse system. Is there any way to do a mass update of licenses? I see there is a mass change option under the Environment menu of transaction SU01, but I don't see an option to change licenses here. All of the users need to be changed to the same license type. Any help is appreciated.

Validation not working during Mass Change of Vendor Line Items

Hi All,
I created validation for Reference Key 1 field of Vendor line items, in this validation i used customized user exit.
Whenever i select multiple line items in FBL1N for mass change & try to put a unauthenticated value system gives error as per Validation only for 1 st item but it not work for subsequent items & put the unauthenticated value in subsequent line items.
I am not able to understand why Validation is working only for 1st line item during mass change & not for subsequent line items.
Please provide your suggestions in resolving this issue.

I understand your issue. First check if the changes as per the SAP Note 640908 (https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=640908) is available in your system.
Actually, Mass changes call FB02 in background and at this stage Validation gets activated and hence, the control doesn't go back for the next item changes. You can test this by deactivating the Validation and then the mass changes will me fine.

Copying and Mass Changing of Legal Controls on Material Masters

I have just set up in our DEV system, the Legal controls on the Material Master . . . The Legal Regulation, the Export control class and the Grouping. We do not have Foreign Trade turned on, but we wanted a place to store this information . . . to help when documents are generated.   My question(s) now are, when our users create Material Masters in most cases they create in reference to another material. I tried this with what I set up, and it will not copy those fields . . . is there a way it can copy . . .something in configuration that will allow this? And, also our users require a large amount of data to be changed sometimes and these fields possibly fall into that requirement, and I was looking for a way to Mass Change, but I am not able find those fields on the available Mass Change tables . . . I believe I need MAEX . . . Is there a way to Mass Change?

There are two things, which have to be done :
-The first thing of course is, that for the fields involved the field :
"Propose Field Content from the Reference" must be set in transaction OMSR.
- The second is, that the user have to enter this screen, because if she/he don't display this screen, then it is technically not possible to copy the reference values.

How to make a mass change for incoterms of a scheduling agreement at item level.

There are many wrongly assigned incoterms in the scheduling agreement at item level by a user exit which was implemented recently in production. May i know if there is any way that we can revert those changes back to the original incoterms via mass change? 57fc status mass change

Dear gurus
We have 4 store locations under one plant each stores will prepare 57f4 challan and send the materials for subcontractor for further processing. We found that the status of all pending 57f4c's changed as completed instead of assigned. In se16 table j_1iexchdr table we found one particular user changed 13000 records on a single day. What went wrong? How to resolve this issue?.
Any mass change tcode available (other than j1if13) for changing the 57fc status

It is not possible for one user to change 13000 record in a single day.
please check with your SAP ABAP persons to check the program anything went wrong.
You can download the data from the table into excel ,change the status and you can upload the data
It am not quite sure .please check with your SAP ABAP Team

How to mass change posting date of parked logistics invoice verifications

I was wondering if someone can help...
We are looking if there is a standard SAP program available to mass change the posting date (to a new date in a new period) for a number of parked logistics invoice verification documents.
Example: Invoices are parked in e.g. April 2010; relevant information is not available before month end; so invoices will probably be posted somewhere in May or June or ...; users now have to individually change the posting date on each parked invoice to the new open month.
Is there any proces/program that could automate this task.

Adding class to documents - Mass change

Hi all
I want to add a class to all existing documents of a certain document type, is there any tool for doing this?
Like CLMM transaction for changing values.
Have looked at the transaction CL24N but unfortunately it is only possible to paste in 10 new records at a time and there is no option to search for the documents like in CLMM or import from file. Or have I missed something?
Reason for doing this mass change is that we have assigned a class to a document type, now we need to change this class to another one.
Iu2019ve tried to change the class in DC10 to the new class, but then the additional data tab is empty when you display a document of that type in SAPGui (In EasyDMS however all values are visible).
But if we add the new class to all old documents and then deleting the old class everything seems to work OK. Too many documents to do this maneuver one by one, though.
Grateful for any help or ideas.

Why don't you use dependency in this case.
You add new char to old class and use dependency Precondition .
This will serve the purpose.
This will work like this
Old class will have following char
Old Char
New Char 1
New Char 2
Now new Char 1 will have Value Yes and No
and New Char 2 will have a values which you want
If you want to use New Char 2 in certain doc types you have to select New Char 1 values as Yes then system will display New Char Val 2 so that user can enter values
Ex:
Old Class
Old Char:
New Char 1   : Yes
New char 2   : "This field is ready for input"
New Char 3 : "This field is ready for input"
New char 4   : "This field is ready for input"
New Char 5 : "This field is ready for input"
you want old values for certain doc types then select a value "No" (You can make this default) for New char 1 so that user can view only Old Char
Old Class
Old Char:
New Char 1   : No
New char 2   : "This char will be hidden for input"
New Char 3 : "This char will be hidden for input"
New char 4   : "This char will be hidden for input"
New Char 5 : "This char will be hidden for input"
This will reatin all your old char values for existing documents and from dependency you can choose new char values whenever you want

Control authorization of mass change functionality via PCUI

We are having the following issues with the Opportunity iview, com.sap.pct.crm.opp.opportunities_s.(Business package for CRM 5.0 and contains functionality CRMD_BUS2000111).
Once the user clicks Go..he has the list of Opportunities. He can select some or select all and use "Mass Change".
We would like to control the functionality of "Mass Change" attribute in the backend CRM System so that only a few people can be authorized to do this. However we are not able to find any CRM authorization
object that controls the mass change activity for opportunities and pursuits in the backend CRM System.
What is the backend CRM Authorization object that controls this functionality in the backend CRM System ?

In IW38/IW3N we added our own Mass-Change button (in addition to the standard option) via Enhancement Spot ES_EAM_LIST_ENHANCEMENTS_EXT. This was required to perform functions that don't exist in the standard mass-change function e.g. mass-add/delete operations, mass-un-TECO, mass-un-CLSD, etc.
This Enhancement Spot may work for IE05 too.
