Can any one help  me what need to be done for resolve this issue.
    Appreciate your early response.

    User Type 53 is:
53        mySAP Limited Prof. (Cat III)                          mySAP Business Suite Limited Professional (Cat III)
Check whether the active user types for both the user ids in these two systems are in sync or not. Also make sure that there is no wrong value is set in SU01 for the user id. Both system should contain same settings for company specific settings.. like ... Company address, Decimal Notation of users, Time Zone of user, License type etc. etc. ...
Check these things and let us know what you got.
fyi: User types can be activated in USMM..

  • User license type

we are on GRAC 10.1 SP6. Created custom field for user license type for both request form and role attribute, both appear. Also followed the SAP note 1736817 for mapping. Maintained mapping for connector group, assign group field mapping. custom field is mapped to system field name LIC_TYPE, table name IS_UCLASS. The field is available for edit on the request, but when submitted, the value does not populate on the target system. Also would like to have drop-down using ACTIVE field in table TUTYPA. If anyone has successfully done either of these, please respond.

    Dear Jack,
did you also check note 1736818?

  • User License type, registration info

Hi, last year I bought Snow Leopard for my MacBook Pro, and I want to find out which type of license I have for Snow Leopard, because my wife now has a Macbook which is still on 10.5.
I can't figure out how to look up my registered products on the Apple site (I have an Apple ID), and there is nothing on the Snow Leopard install DVD (or packaging) that indicates what type of license I bought (and unfortunately I didn't keep a record of it, which I usually do).
Can anyone tell me a) how to access my registered product info on the Apple site; and b) is there any way to figure out what type of license I have for Snow Leopard?
    Thanks.

The only licenses available are single-user and family pack (5-user). If it's five-user, it should say it on the box.
There are no explicit licensing restrictions.

  • [Forum FAQ] Troubleshoot the error "The Remote Desktop Session Host server is in Per User licensing mode and No Redirector Mode"

    Symptom
RD License server is a key component of RDS. It licenses users to access RDS servers.
After purchase the required RDS CALs, we need to activate the RDS License server and install the purchased RDS CALs. However, during the installation or after installation, we may face errors
    about RDS License.
In most cases, the following error may occur.
    Error:
The Remote Desktop Session Host server is in Per User licensing mode and No Redirector Mode, but license server "Server name" does not have any installed licenses with the following
    attributes:
    Product version: Windows Server 2012
    Licensing mode: Per User
    License type: RDS CALs
    Troubleshooting
    1. Check whether the RD License Configuration is configured properly and there are no Warnings in the Event.
    2. The License Server should be part of 'RD Server License' group in Active Directory Domain Services.
    3. Check if the Licensing Mode is correct.
    - To change the Licensing Mode we can use RD Licensing diagnose, PowerShell cmdlet and Group Policy.
    Via PowerShell cmdlet:
To change the licensing mode on RDSH/RDVH:
    $obj = get-wmiobject -namespace "Root/CIMV2/TerminalServices" Win32_TerminalServiceSetting
    $obj.ChangeMode(value)
    # Value can be 2 - per Device, 4 - Per user
    Via Group Policy
Path: Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Remote Desktop Services -> Remote Desktop Session Host -> Licensing
Use the specified RD license servers = FQDN of server name
Set the Remote Desktop licensing mode =
    Per User
However, if issue persists, please provide detailed information and post the question in the
Remote Desktop Services (Terminal Services) forum.
Please click to vote if the post helps you. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.

    Hi Richard,
You need to uninstall Remote desktop session host feature. After removing it, you will default two connections which does not need to purchase RD CALs'.

    1. As mentioned by Saby: use TCode SQV1 to map all the tables with a meaningful "foreign key".
    2. Download all Table contents and map them in excel by using functions.

  • User Type (Dialog , Communication etc) can impact on SAP User Licensing

    Dear Expert,
The User Type (Dialog, Communication, System etc) can impact on SAP User Licensing.
Suppose if I craete a user type other than DIALOG such as SYSTEM or COMMUNICATION etc; will this be counted as License User. Or only DIALOG users are paid license users.

    Thanks Uday and Nagendra...
    Dear Nagendra,
with reference to below sentense from your referred link
    " Consolidating Contractual User Types
    Use
With this procedure, you consolidate the contractual user types of the individual users. The LAW takes account of the fact that certain contractual user types are already contained in others. In this way, license costs are only incurred for the inclusive user types of the user."
When I go User Classification Display screen, under Contractual User Type column all my 150 users are marked "Operational" but for those which I defined as System / Communication User are defined any contractual user type.
    What does it mean??

License info is available using SAP Business One License API. It is provided
as a CORBA interface but you can find here on SDN wrappers for COM and

  • Information regarding Portal user licensing

    Hello Experts,
i am looking for some standard SAP documentation ,Article or PDF which describe the Portal users licensing procedure/process in detail.
Also if in production Portal let say there are 1000 users and due to some reasons they are not using Portal frequently their login frequency is very low.
So in this case how the licenses can be managed.
if any body faced the same scenario please share your experiences.
    Any inputs/suggestions are most welcome.
    Thanks,
    Siddharth

    Siddharth,
It would be best if you were able to contact you SAP Account Manager for any query related to licensing. I doubt you would be able to locate any facts / figures related to that.
    Thanks,

  • RE: Polymorphism - retrieving type information from thedatabase

I would disagree with your statement that either the object or data model
must be wrong. The problem is more fundamental-trying to store objects in a
relational database. The object and relational paradigms can be made to
work together, but usually only by compromising tenets of one or the other
(or both). Now granted, there are many ways of making them work
together-and some are definitely better than others.

This issue has already passed this mailing list a couple of
times in the past. To put it in more general terms, you have
different classes which you store in the same DB table.
This is always tricky. Nine out of ten times, this means
either your Object model or your DataBase model is wrong.

different classes which you store in the same DB table.
This is always tricky. Nine out of ten times, this means
either your Object model or your DataBase model is wrong.
If you can differentiate between different classes, this
means you're dealing with different entities, which should
be stored in different tables. What if one class has an
attribute the other one doesn't. This would mean you have
to add a column to the database which is filled it the row
represends one class and is NULL if the row represends
another class. This is not good database practice!
Differentiating between different classes by means of
a "type" attribute is the classic procedural approach.
The OO approach would be to create subclasses. How-
ever, a relational database doesn't support subclasses.
The best way, would be to have a different table for
each subclass. If this gives you problems with norma-
lizing your database, you can create a table with all
the attributes generic to vehicle, and a table for each
subclass with only the attributes relevant to this sub-
class and a foreign key relation to the main table. If all
of this is not feasable, you're left with the need to find
some mechanism to identify what kind of class a cer-
tain row represends and then instantiate this class. The
tree solutions you suggested all work. It doesn't really
matter which one you chose, they're all equally dirty.
    Hope this helps,
    Pascal.

Subject: Polymorphism - retrieving type information from the
    database
Suppose I have a class structure containing one base class with
several specialisations. Say, "Vehicle", with specialisations of
"Car", "Van" and "Truck". All vehicles are persisted in the database,
in a rolled-up table, and I want a generic retrieval mechanism, which
fetches a vehicle based on the license plate number. (It will probably
be a service object, which I will call a Persistent Object Manager).
I wish to retrieve ALL vehicles, and calculate the road tax for each.
However, cars, vans and trucks are all subject to different tax rules,
and require a different method to calculate their road tax. To put it
another way, there is a polymorphic method 'CalculateRoadTax' on the
    "Vehicle" class.
Q: As each vehicle is extracted from the database, how does the rest
of the Forte application know what type of vehicle it is?
I am sure that others must have solved this problem before, but it is
new to us. We have come up with the following solutions:
    (1)  Add a "sub-type" column to the "Vehicle" table. Use the type
information to instantiate a Forte object of the correct type
    (2)  Maintain a completely separate table linking the vehicle licence
    plate to its sub-type.
    (3)  Deduce the type of the object from the pattern of null columns in
    the row.
I think (1) is the best solution, but I'm interested to know what the
    experts say!
Incidentally, if Express can help or hinder in this situation, I would
be interested in that as well.

  • WebEx user license

Good day! I need to understand user license for WebEx Meeting Server. I understand that only presenter requires user license, therefore WebEx doesn't requires license for attendees during a weebinar. I'm also wondering about users who requires host meeting. Do they have their own password for arranging webinars.  My task is to arrange a conference for a year with one permanent presenter and 40 attendees. What type of license do I need for sort out my task?

Only the person hosting the license will need a license. Participants will not need any license.
So if you are going to schedule a meetings for one year you will just need one permanent host license (regardless of the number of participants). See below detailed explanation.
    Ref: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/collaboration/CWMS/2_5/Administration_Guide/Administration_Guide/Administration_Guide_chapter_010001.html#reference_C89117B5357E40C8A8A675EAE85E65C4
This section describes the relationship between the status of users and how host licenses are counted:
Participant—An individual that attends meetings, but does not host meetings, and does not have control over the host features, such as presenting content unless the participant is designated by a host to be the presenter. No host licenses are consumed by meeting participants. This user can also schedule meetings on behalf of others without consuming a host license.
Meeting Host--Schedules and attends meetings in the capacity of the meeting host, and is allowed control over selected features, such as identifying a presenter or muting another participant. Hosting a meeting consumes a license and that license is retained by that user until the user is deactivated. The Host license can take several forms. (See Types of Host Licenses for more information on Host license forms.)
Alternate Host--Identified when the meeting is scheduled as someone who can assume the host role in the absence of the meeting host. If the meeting host who scheduled the meeting does not attend, the alternate host is given control over most of the same features as the meeting host. The license needed to host the meeting is validated against the status of the user who scheduled the meeting. In other words, the user who scheduled the meeting must have a valid license at the time of the meeting, even if that user does not attend the meeting.
Please let me know if you still have any further questions.

  • SAP user license & audit

    Hi all,
I am a starter in SAP.
If i suppose procure 10 user license and installed the SAP package, can i create more than 10 user id's. Will the system allows me to do it? If yes how can SAP AG will check it.
Also can anyone tell me when SAP will conduct the audit in an implementation project. i have heard something like 'sox' audit. I am not even clear about the terminology used. Pls give some inputs.
    Thanks in advance,
    Raj.

    hi,
as it follows the independent concept so an audit team can represent the internal organization or external.
actually it is performed to identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks and related opportunities for internal control improvement to reduce the risk and enhance the quality, assurance and security of information systems and business processes.
so the organization needs to perform it either by using its internal team who are aware of the concept of SOX std. or the organization can give this job to external unit to do the same.
below is the link which shows diff types of SOX :
    http://soxmadeeasy.com/SAP_Audit.html
    hope this will help you!!!
