User mail had date changes after migrating to dovecot

I upgraded from 10.5.8 Server to Snow Leopard last week. A few problems occurred during the migration:
1) Permissions to the /var/spool/imap/dovecot/mail/ were read only
and
2) Many random email messages had their date stamp changed to November 2020. Some users had a few, others had thousands.
I've since repaired the permission issue, but is there a way to fix the date stamp? If you open the email it displayed the date correctly.

I saw the same problem and manually reimported all of my mail stores since it was down and I caught it soon enough to not make a difference. There is a problem with how Setup Buddy does the importing. I found the directions in the migration guide to manually bring it over. Page 42 of the PDF.
However if you've gone too far, I found this thread that may take care of it for you.

  • Address data changed after invoice is created

    Hi,
I've a problem to solve and it's related with data changed after invoice is created.
    The scenario is the follow:
1º - create a complete and standard sales process - order => delivery => invoice, with the standard partner scheme and without edit the address data, for any kind of partner
2ª after the invoice is created, I change the address data on Client Master Data, for the same client that I've used on previous process
3º I'll go to the VF03 transaction and take a look at the partner data on header level. Here I can see that the changes on the Client Master Data ar updated to the invoice document wich is already created and printed when I maked the changes
I think that could be a program error because, once the documento is created, you only can change texts and accounts if this document is not yet created.
And, I can't edit this kind of data on invoice creation because it must be done at order level.
So I don't understand why it happen, but it happen on more than one client.
I'll hope that anyone can help me to solve this issue.
    Kind regards,
    Nuno Rodrigues

    Hi Nuno,
the adresses of all Clients are stored in table adrc. If there are no changes in the order, the system takes the standard adress of the client. That is made for not having an extra adress for each order.
If you change the adress - the system will create a new adressnumber ( 999........ - see in VBPA ).
If you have different adressnumbers in your orders, you are not able th collect several orders into one delivery note - for the adressnumber ist normally a split-criteria.
Ich you will have an extra Adress for each Order, change the adress - for example by an user exit.
But if you have different adressnumbers - the delivery and the invoice will split the different orders - if you dont do something against in an user-exit.

  • Fee calculation if fee calculation data change after start of academic year

    Hi,
If I change "Fee calculation data" on student file (piqstm) after start of academic year, fee calculation doesn't use new data even I enter a fee calculation date later than new fee calculation data valid date. If I adjust validity date of "fee calculation data" at the beginning of start date of academic year It works. But I couldn't manage changes on fee calculation data after "start date of academic year".
Is it possible to calculate fees with new "fee calculation data" if the data changes after start of academic year?
    Thanks

    Hi Joachim
We have not yet implemented the BAdI, we are using the standard to do the fee calculation. I guess we are gonna have to post a OSS message, cause as soon as I calculate the fee for a student and I run again the fee calculation for the same student without any changes at all, the system creates 2 new documents. I had this effect in the past but only as if you stated I changed something, like a condition or something but now is without any changes that this happens.
About the BAdI, the problem is that in our college they have more than 70 SC per campus (and the school has more than 12 campuses). The Campus Management team decided that they were going to use only 70 central SC instead of (12 x 70). By doing that we have to use a new derivation system cause the SC is attached a central school. But the reports have to be per campus. So we have plan to derivate the company code and the business area using some registration data (instead of getting it from the SC links). The same will be happening to the cost centers and profit centers.
    Thank you Joachim

  • The information of photo like date change after close it. How can'i correct that

the information of photo like date change after close it. How can'i correct that?

Using the Photos ➙ Batch Change ➙ Date menu option will let you change the EXIF Capture Date of the photo.
For a single photo (or to set a group of photos to the same date and time) use the Photos ➙ Adjust Date and Time ... menu option.
    Happy New Year

  • Is there a setting to prevent modification date change after adding label or changing orientation?

is there a setting to prevent modification date change after adding label or changing orientation? I don't want to change the modification date when I haven't edited the image, but only rotated the view or rated/labeled it. Is there a setting to change to not have this happen?

You have modified it, but why worry?  The date shot does not change.

  • System Software (Mail, Preview, Contacts) crashes after migration from 10.5 (PPC) to MacBook Air

    Hi!
I've just migrated my old system (PowerMac G5 running 10.5) to a new MacBook Air (11'' Mid 2013) using the migration assistant. I've had problems with crashing applications (as far as I can see only Apple software has been affected: Mail, Preview, Contacts, TextEdit) since I've completed the migration.
I've already done the following: reinstalled 10.9.1 update, repaired permissions and checked volume through recovery. Reset SMC, PRAM and done a safe boot. Rebuilt the Spotlight index. Nothing has helped thus far.
Console is flooded with the following, repeated messages:

I guess that migration assistant moved something over that interferes with the new systems. Do you have any ideas what to do? My next step would be to reinstall the system from recovery. Any other suggestions?
    Thanks!

  • Mail Clean Install Help: Mail Won't Work After Migrating to 10.6 from 10.4

I cannot get Mail to open after migrating from 10.4 into 10.6. Mail tries to import my 10.4 folders and messages and then quits unexpectedly. I want to do a clean Mail install to see if I can resolve the problem, but don't know how to do so.
    All advice is greatly appreciated.
    -Brian

Mail, the application, should not cannot contain any message data assets. The Mail application must sit in the Applications folder, and be usable to every User Account on the Mac, and not just yours (understand you might be the only user, but making a point).
Mail, the folder of data for just your emails, should properly be at Home/Library/Mail.
Let me ask again -- in the Applications folder is there an Icon for Mail, and is it the Icon of a postage stamp, or is it perhaps the Icon of a folder?
However, let me note, that now that I have booted back into Snow Leopard, and used Get Info on the Mail Icon in the Applications folder, it is reported to be 77.5 MB! Looking at it from other boot volume (Leopard) does not see all the elements of its "package" apparently. My apologies.
Now it is time for a different test -- Create a New User Account, and as that New User launch Mail and try setting up one new email account - if POP select to leave messages on the server. See the following if not familiar with adding a new user account:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.5/en/8235.html
The reason for doing this is to test the Mail app itself, and not to permanently switch to a new user account. Tell me if the behavior continues in that New User Account with Mail?

  • CUA: User & Role Master Data Change Document

    Hi Team,
I would like to know is there any way to find out CUA user master & role assignment change document data from CUA Central System & All Targets Systems.
I am looking for user friendly tool similar to SUIM.
I have looked into other methods of CUA change document tips and tools but it is not so fruitful to convenes my Audit team.
FYI.  System Users (CUA_ADMIN) is not the user which i want to see in my change document window, i want to know actual security consultant ids within that.
    Kindly get back to me.
    Appreciate, for your response.
    Regards,
    Asif

HI Matt:  Your understanding is correct for CUA Tier2 Setup.
    FYI.
We have successfully configured trusted relationships between SAP Systems with the help of my BASIS & UNIX team.
To do this:  We have performed following actions:
u2022     Trusted System trust relationships for the RFC Connection has been maintained from the Central to the Child System and from All Child to Central System via transaction code SMT1.
u2022     UNIX Database level trusted relationship entries has also been added with the help of UNIX Team
u2022     RFC Destinations has been reconfigured with Current user option (SM59).
u2022     For Security Administrator special authorizations has been provided in order to get trusted relationship RFC authorizations.
    Note:
I have added Full Authorizations under these new special objects S_RFC, S_ICF, S_RFCACL, & S_RFCADM  and same was assigned to all our Security Administrators.  Remote Logon & Trusted Connectivity is working fine for all of us.
We are 4 Security Administrator here, And for All of us this new concept of Trusted RFC for CUA is working fine.
New Authorizations updated on both CUA and the Child System.
Our ids are replicating as a log in the last change by field of SU01 and change document of SUIM. Happy to see this. 
But unfortunately there are strange ABAP dumps are started generating from CUA (SolMan) System soon after this Implementation.
When we look into ST22, runtime errors CALL_FUNCTION_SINGLE_LOGIN_REJ &  CALL_FUNCTION_SYSCALL_ONLY are keep generating.
Following are the example of dump logs and all the dump are with similar fashion but with different user-ids within that.:
Short text:  No authorization to logon as trusted system (Trusted RC=0).
What happened?  : Error in the ABAP Application Program The current ABAP program "SAPMSSY1" had to be terminated because it has come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
Error analysis:  An RFC call (Remote Function Call) was sent with the invalid user ID "(End user user-ids)".  Or the calling system is not registered as trusted system in the target system.
How to correct the error: The error code of the trusted system was 0.
Meaning: 0    Correct logon as trusted system mode
1 No trusted system entry for the calling system "BIP " (like other child System) or the  security key entry for the system "BIP " is invalid
2 User "111552 " (Type of End user) does not have RFC authorization (authorization object
(S_RFCACL) for user "End User id " witl client 100.
3    The timestamp of the logon data is invalid
The error code of the SAP logon procedure was 6. (6    No external user check)
My Point: I think All these End users are trying to connect CUA Trusted RFC connections through individual different child Systems..
Why they need to Connect to CUA and for what reason they need special Trusted RFCu2019s authorization???
Pls help me to fix this problem.

  • Data mismatch after migration

    Hi experts,
There is a mismatch in data when comparing a query o/p before and after migration...
Can any one please tell wat may be the reason.
    This is urgent please.....
    Regards,
    Pruthvi

    Hi Pruthvi,
What "migration" are you talking about? You did a BI upgrade, or migrated your server from a box to another without changing BI version or what? Is that a standard query or a custom one? Is there any restriction in that query on any infoobjects?
First I would try to check the contents of the infoprovider (transaction LISTCUBE or RSA1), paying special attention to the selection criteria and the fields you want to display. Use exactly the same selections and fields that you have in the query.

    Csaba

I deleted the everything within the V2 folder inside Mail.  But still got the message.  I have also tried extracting a copy of Mail from a working backup and running it from my desktop but no luck either.

I have tried reinstalling. Next I reinstalled xCode. Then I reinstalled iLife from a DVD. I reinstalled the developer tools. Nothing has helped yet.
The problem is that the variable _OBJC_CLASS_$_NSObject is missing from the /usr/lib/libobjc.A.dylib file.
I even reinstalled the  /usr/lib/libobjc.A.dylib file from a backup when the Mail program worked but no luck.
How do we get a  /usr/lib/libobjc.A.dylib file with the  _OBJC_CLASS_$_NSObject variable?

  • Schedule line date changes after each MRP run

    Dear Experts,
Clarification needed on how the system plans the MM schedule lines.
Setting: Start in the past not allowed.
3 days for processing of order
The issue is after each MRP run the system is moving the schedule line to the current date + 3 days for processing + the planned delivery time.
If the schedule line is not firmed, after each MRP run ( which happens everyday) the system is moving the schedule line and then giving an alert saying the " order has to be rescheduled to the previous day"
on the second day after the mrp run the system moves the schedule line again by one more day and gives the rescheduling date as " -2 days from today"
this change is happening every day after the planning run. - because of this there are really no backorders ( schedule line in the past ) in the system. we were not able to know if the vendor is actually delayed in this case.
can you kindly suggest what went wrong here ??
we are using strategy 10 for the planning of procured parts. Let me know if more info is needed.
Note: we are also using stock transfer process for some procured parts. there too the PR date gets changed after each MRP run. There there is no lead time in this case. the order is placed on the same day as the requirement as both plants are nearby. There the PR date is changing everyday to the current date.
your advice would be of great help
    thanks
    Nagendra Kumar

    Hi Caetano,
    thanks for your suggestion
Yes, we use firm zone for few of the vendors. there the system don't change the schedule lines.
Also for the stock transfer PR's there is no firm zone and the lead time is one day. in this case it changes everyday after the MRP run.
the stock transfer PR's leads to the creation of Schedule lines from the source plant. Since this PR gets changed everyday. the alerts coming out of MD07 gets changed and we really did not know if this order is delayed or not.  In the source plant we use the firm zone to avoid moving the schedule line. But then the alerts are always not correct.
is there any setting which helps in not moving the PR everyday without using " start in the past"
    thanks
    Nagendra Kumar

  • Employee date change after pay roll run

    HI sapiers,

now can we change the employe join date now
if yes how can we do this
    please help me its urrgent
    thanks in advance
    shjish khan

    Hi Shajish,
There are three scenarios when you may need to change hiring date:
    1) After payroll is run - when hiring date is before actual Hiring date.
    2) After payroll is run when hiring date is after actual Hiring Date.
    3) Before the payroll is run.
    1) PA30 -- Copy actions info type - action type - incorrect entry -- save and come out PA 30 copy actions info type -- action type - correct entry - now correct your entries, save your date is changed.
    2) PA30 - Utilities - change payroll status - delete accounted to field, save and come out - then again utilities change entry leaving date - correct the hiring date - save and come out.
    3) PA30 - Utilities change entry/leaving date change your date and save.
    Try this aslo
    Go to PA30
    Enter personnel number.
    Select action infotype.
Select subtype hire mini master record.
    Change to new date.
    Under reasons, select new position.
    Click save.

  • Different Format date LOV after migrated report

    Hi,
I have migrated report from BO 6.1.3 to BO XI 3.1 SP3.
Report has migrated but i have one issue like:
The date format is different for lov of Report in 6.1.3 and XI 3.1 SP3, even when I recreate the prompt
Old Report 6.1.3 before migration                               'dd/mm/yyyy'
Old Report 6.1.3 after migration on XI 3.1 SP3            'mm/dd/yyyy'
    New Report XI 3.1 SP3                                                'dd/mm/yyyy'
and when I run the query the data is incorrect.
Please let me know how we can resolve this issue....
    Thanks

    Diego,
Try converting the report from Deski to Webi and see how the prompts work out.
Longer term this is a better option anyway with Deski going in version 4.

  • How to make field key for user fields cant be changed after project release

    Dear Expert,
How can we make field key for user fields cannot be changed once we release the project/wbs?
    Cheers,

Do you mean 'field key' in the project profile in SPRo?
I think after a project is created a change in the field key wont affect the fields in CJ20N..
    Can you verify?
