User name in email

My iphone syncronize email with my company Exchange. When I receive an email, the sender's name appears correct but when I open this email, it shows only part of the name.
In the screen where shows all email, it appears Eduardo Oliveira Ribeiro, but when I open the email, it appears Eduardo Ribeiro. How do I change this to show Eduardo de Oliveira Ribeiro.

In the message it is displaying the name that the sender's mail client inserts. This would have to be fixed by the sender. In the list view it is displaying the name from your address book based on the email address, but when you open the email it displays the actual mail header which comes from the sender.

Two user names same email, forgotten password link...

Today I signed up and created an account. I realized only after signing up that I had previously created an account (w/same email). I am trying to get the lost password to my original account /user name, however, after multiple attempts requesting "forgotten password" the reset password keeps linking to today's account. How do I resold this and utilize my original (old user name)?

Three important things you need to consider....
1. Workflow config in SWU3
2. Authorizations for your workflow user id
3. Any number ranges which need to be configured.

Help! Cant log in to BB App World -changed email and now asking for original user name associated email

I have changed my BB app world email as I cant access that original email anymore, so changed email address, i registered it online in the bb website, when i go to update apps i try and log in to the appworld with my new email it says 'enter user name associated with this smartphone', and just canot log in...PLEASE HELP

If you're referring to BlackBerry ID, then you need to perform a Security Wipe before you can login using your new credentials. Make sure you have a backup because this will delete all of your data.

User name in Email Settings

Dear Sir/Madam,
Just got blackberry 8300 and activated blackberry service today with du in UAE. I did not create any user name or password in email settings. However, whenever I enter Email settings screen, it states 'Existing Users' and prompts me to enter username and password.
How can I retrieve my user name or even do a reset on the device? Please provide complete guidance so that I can resolve the matter.

You bought the device used or remanufactured and the previous use never removed the PIN of that device from his or her account.
The seller will need to call his or her carrier and ask that the PIN be removed-- you can call, but they don't have to do it for you, so be nice in asking. Just simply explain that you bought the device used and need the PIN to be used on your account now.

ABAP Email Sending Program: Change Display user name in email

Hi All,
I have developed an email sending program using function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1. It is working fine but there is requirement that when the customer receives email, in the display name of sender, there should be some fixed name. But here in this case it is picking the Sy-uname i.e. system user name who is triggering the program.
I also tried the FM SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1, but it only changes senders email address, and the requirement is to change the display name in email.

You will have to use ABAP class CL_BCS. With it you can specify the sender, both the address and the name.
          lv_smtp_addr = iv_senderaddress.
          lv_smtp_name = iv_sendername.
          call method cl_cam_address_bcs=>create_internet_address
            exporting
              i_address_string = lv_smtp_addr
              i_address_name = lv_smtp_name
            receiving
              result          = lo_sender_address.

I can't remember my user name and password but no reminder being sent when I request user name reminder email

I try and log in but do not remember my user name or password.
I request a user name email but nothing is coming through. I have left it for an hour but no email received. I have also check the spam box.

Sorry it took a while but I have had a response to my yahoo email account and have now successfully logged in.

Get logged in users name for email notification

I am using LC Update 1 with email notifications. In the notification email I would like to write:
Hi "logged in users name"
You have got a task in your to do-list...
The thing is that I can not get the id of the user because the email is sent before he/she completes any step in the process. So I guess I need to look up the user in the same way as the notification-function makes the lookup... How is this done?
Can you help me here?

Managing Users - Editing a User Name and Email?

Hello!
I have absolutely no experience using the Windows Small Business Server 2003. Our IT person showed me how to add Users and this is bascially the only task I perform with regard to the server.
I recently added a new User and accidentally misspelled his name. I went back in and edited the User file to correct the name and I was able to send a test email to him and receive a response from him - however, the response came in with the sender's
name still misspelled. I went back in to the User file and found that the alias still showed the misspelled name. I corrected the error there but now the User is not able to send or receive email.
To to clarify:
1. I entered the User name incorrectly - I typed the name ending in "ki" instead of "ik".
2. Went back in to the User file and changed the name and email address to reflect the correct spelling - [email protected]
3. Sent test email to User (ik at company dot com) and received a response from User but the response listed the sender as: "Employee Ki" - instead of "Employee Ik".
4. Discovered that alias was still showing "ki" - changed alias to correct spelling.
5. User is not able to send or receive email.
My questions are:
A. Did I do the right thing by simply trying to edit the file to correct the mistake? Or should I have deleted the User and started over?
B. If it is acceptable to simply edit the file, is there some other step I am missing or that still needs to be performed so the User can receive email?

I did go through and make the correction in every tab. (That was actually how I found out that I had missed the "alias").
This employee is mostly out in the field and will be sending and receiving email from his phone or ipad. He was able to send and receive email before I corrrected the "alias" - would changing this cause him to lose the ability to send and receive
email?
Also he left me a note that he is not able to log in under the company acount. When he attempts to log in, he is asked for the "exchange account".
I suspect that this may be more involved than just correcting the misspelling. I appreciate any assistance you may be able to provide.

Changing user name on email account on blackberry curve

Hi, new to this so excuse me if i'm being a bit dumb.
My ISP has moved my email account to an imap server. The email now has a different username and password, although still the same email address. the emails are now not coming through to my blackberry curve 9300. I've tried to change the user name (in settings, email, login info) but it won't let me edit the field. Should i delete the whole account and start again? They are coming through on my 02email address but that's not very useful to me.

HT1430 I can no longer access my gmail account on any of my apple products. I get an error message saying my user name or email address is incorrect.

You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

You can change your AppleID/e-mail address. In iTunes on the Menu Bar go to Store/View my Apple ID. It'll take you to your account page in iTunes. Where it says Apple ID(your e-mail address) there is a link to edit that information. It shows your current e-mail and password/verify password. Below that is a link to change your security questions and other Apple ID details appleid.apple.com.
On that page it says if you change your e-mail address it'll send a verification e-mail to that address.. and that new Apple ID/e-mail address will be used to access all Apple services(iTunes etc)

TS3276 email was hacked, can open email on yahoo (after changing passwords) but cannot open mail on my computer, cannot even access mail because it will not accept my user name or password and I am unable to reset my account

email was hijacked and spam/virus link sent out to all of my contacts on wed at 4:21AM..... with the Subject as Rep: My Name or My email address and a link to a web page discussing making money working at home. Could not get into any of my mail, on the web or on Mail on my mac. After a phone call to automated support through Yahoo through ATT, I was given a temporary password and was able to reset my Yahoo password and get email on the internet. I still cannot open my Mail Account on either my iMac or MacBook Pro. I cannot get into Mail, period. My sign in keeps popping up and it keeps telling me that my user name or password is incorrect. I tried my old password, the temporary password and the new password. Nothing is working, I cannot receive or send anything in Mail. Mail is Frozen. If I want my email, I must go to the web and sign into Yahoo Mail.

When you were entering your new password in mac mail for your Yahoo account, you didn't perchance change the user name from [email protected] to just name without the @att.net? I only ask because I've done that, and att.yahoo mail requires a fully qualified [email protected] for access.
In mail, you might click on window on the menu bar, then connection doctor. On the account with the red dot next to it, it will tell you why it can't connect, and if you click on it, you'll be taken to where you can fix it.
