User name on CRM UI interaction home page

Can anyone please suggest me how can i put logged in user name on interaction center home page? I am using CRM 7.0.

It may be that AutoFill is disabled in Safari, or that Private Browsing is on.
Go to Settings > Safari > Passwords & AutoFill and make sure that Names and Passwords is on.
Go to your Home screen and open Safari. If Safari is black or dark instead of white or gray, Private Browsing is on. Safari doesn't save account names and passwords when Private Browsing is on. To turn off Private Browsing:
On iPad, tap the the plus icon in the upper-right corner of the Safari page, then tap Private in the lower-left corner.
On iPhone and iPod touch, tap in the lower-right corner of the Safari page, then tap Private in the lower-left corner.

IPad 4 asks for User Name and Password to access home wi-fi network

I have the iPad 4, which occasionally fails to connect to my home network and will ask me for both an User Name and Password to access my home wireless network. I have no idea what would constitute an User Name and I have tried the name of the network and other options to no avail. When I close down the iPad and take it closer to my Wi-Fi Router (BT Home Hub 3) then switch back on it asks for the password only as normal and all is well. What concerns me is this only happens on the occasional basis, but I am trying to access the router from exactly the same place.
Is there a fault with the wireless function on the iPad? I have contacted Apple Support by telephone and they were very helpful to be fair, but they had not come across this issue before.
Has anyone experienced anything like this and could advise me? My other option would be to email Apple Support, but I cannot find an email address for Apple Technical Support UK.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Can the Supplier Name be hidden on iProcurement Home Page?

Hi,
On iProcurement (both Paragraph and Grid view), it is possible to hide the price through personalisation (Flow Layout: (QuantityFormatCell.AmountFlowLayout) rendered to False).
Is this also possible with the Supplier name? If yes, how and which layout name?

Keychain won't save password when user name and password are on separate pages

I Have and iMac,iPhone and iPad. When I go on a site where the username and password are on different pages, Keychain doesn't seem to work. It won't offer a passwot, nor will it save the username and password I enter.
any suggestions?

II'd rather not disclose the financial institutions i do business with, but my bank and two mutual fund websites use separate pages for username and password. I chec around, and if you go to the Bank of America website, they do it as well. Keychain does not work on any of the three sites I use.

Can you help me in this.
My home page is using frames. In one of the frame i am calling one html page which is calling one applet. Is it possible to hide the source code of the bottom frame .
As the user types in the absolute path of the request on the address bar , he any how manages to see my source code of the html (view source) thereby the applet tag .
Can't figure it out, how to hide the source code of the bottom frame .
I read that its possible with redirecting it to some other page , but how will i know that user is not calling from the home page

You can set up a javascript to prevent someone viewing the page source, but anyone web-savvy will be able to switch off javascript and see it anyways.
You could also add a request value to the second page so that you have "<a href="page.jsp?parameter=00a">" and if the parameter is not set the page will not show. That is a bit of a hack but would probably work.
Basically, don't put anything too security dependent on the client site, because once it is run on someone's computer they have access to it.

Open popup window and redirect user to home page in sandboxed solution

i've created a sandboxed solution visual webpart and it has submit button so when user fills the information in the text boxes availble in webpart and clicks submit button so I want to open popup button containg success message and ok button so when user
clicks ok button in popup window i want user to be redirected to the home page of the site.

Page class and script manager are not supported in sandbox solution

Table where default home page is stored

Hi,
Does anyone know which table the default home page for a user is stored in? I presumed that it would be WWSEC_PERSON$ but this doesn't seem to be the case.

This is stored in the customization tables. It can be got only by using APIs.
Sample Code to get the default page for the user. This returns the most specific value. That is, if the User has specified a home page Otherwise, the Group
home page if one has been specified. If neither has been specified, then use the System home page.

Issue: The user name changed when switch to other links in SCN

Hi,
I just wanted to bring to the notice of the moderators (as I don't know where can I report for the IT related issues) that for the past few days I am facing a peculiar behaviour when I log into the SCN through Internet Explorer 8.0. This is also being faced by my peers too..:)
The issue is that when I login to SCN, I can see my user name on the top of the page(Home page). But when I switch to say 'Forum', the user name is changed and this is random. I kind of have access to his/her account.
Even I try to log off, nothing happens.. The only solution left is to close the IE and then try to login again.
Kindly have a look into this issue.

Ive (along with many others) noticed the same problem with the Forums about 2 years ago, where after log-in or clicking a certain thread I find myself in someone's else's id. And the id keeps changing from time to time with no end in sight.
The problem took about a couple of days to be rectified.

Hi Slav,
I hope you must have created the business role for your sales users. You can customize the home page for the Business Role. To do the customization, you should follow the following steps:
1. Go to Microsoft Silverlight mode
2. Open your hope page and click on Setting button in right corner.
3. Click on Adapt and select your business role
4. Again click on Settings button in right corner, then Edit.
5. system will open the setting view and select the report.
6. Search hot lead report and click on add to role check box.
7. Click on Publish button in right corner to publish your changes to all users assigned in the business role.
After doing above steps, your Sales users will have Hot leads report in their home screen.

Workflow ECC User name Issue

I am triggering work flow from crm to ECC vise versa,I am unable to get Initiator User name it shows only CRM user name (RFC USER).
I want to get ECC server User names in CRM. I am running an remote function module from ECC to CRM, so i am getting only CRM user name,could any body advice me how to get an ECC server user names Its Urgent.

Since the workflow is initiated from CRM initiator will always be the one in CRM (crm user name).
To get ECC server user name in CRM you will have to use rfc to fetch data from ecc and get it in CRM. Initiator for for one workflow will always be one, if you want another agent then capture the name and create another conatiner element and use it.

I want to erase saved user names in sign-in boxes and nothing I do erases them

My kids have put different user names in my e-mail welcome page and other welcome pages. The list is long. I'd like to delete all the saved names and start over just having the computer save the names we actually use. I have gotten into tools and tried to erase by erasing history etc and nothing seems to get rid of those pesky saved names. A little help would be greatly appreciated.

Home page tab not displaying

I'm using conditions on tabs depending on the user. The tab on the home page is not working correctly. If the person is a user for the home page plus 2 other pages the tabs for the 2 other pages show up but not the tab for the home page. If the user has access to everything all the tabs show up. Any ideas?
