User not deleting using iPlanet Connector

Hello,
I am using iPlanet connector & created a task where users with Employee-Type as Part-Time are provisoned
to iPlanet Resource & user is created in target system,but when i remove that user from Part-Time & set some
other Employee-Type then iPlanet resource is revoked but user is not deleted from target system & it gives
response as user does not exist,but users exist in target system.Could anyone suggest what is missing ?

After your reply i checked my Task status & there was 1 task created by me was having status
as Pending,so i tried to delete that task,but was not able to delete that task as OIM does not allow to
delete any task once a task runs , so i renamed it & made conditional & then checked & was working i.e
users were getting deleted from target system.

    MEtadir is not attributes owned but entries owned: to do so, you must create a new AF where the criteria is %operation% = DeleteFromCVtoMV and in flow, you choose attributes you want to see deleted

  • Make a users not to use schema prefix in a query

    I created a user who has a default tablespace name "USERS", apparently this user need to query tables from another schema, as a result this user need to use the schema prefix to query this table. Now, how can i create the user such that this user does not need to key in schema prefix before querying the table in this schema. Please help

    Hi,
    I can see 2 choices:
    1/ create SYNONYMs for objects in the target schema. This will allow you to use the synonym for the object. Check in TFM for more infos about SYNONYMs.
    2/ use an after logon trigger to define which is the current schema in the session (ALTER SESSION SET CURRENT_SCHEMA=xxx). Note that if you do that, you'll need to prefix the tables of the user if you want to acces them.

  • Automatic reservations can not delete using MBVR

    I have searched and searched on this site to an answer to my problem and I can not seem to find it, so your help is greatly appreciated.
    I understand that to delete a reservation for an automatic reservation we are to use MBVR. 
    My problem....When issuing material to a work order, a mistake was made for the material that was issued, successfully reversed  the material that was goods issued to the order using a mvmt 262, I am trying to remove this from an automatic reservation that was created so it does not show up as being on a reservation, plus this still shows up on the sales order portion of the RMA and we are having to manually delete it from the sales order..
    I have tried to use MBVR, however when I try to run it for the reservation the material is on, it brings back no values....I have then tried to run it for other reservations and it brings back the same results....does not appear to be working.  I tried to see if configuration was set up on this and I am unable to locate this to validate.  Where do I need to go?  Am I on the correct path to remove this from the reservation?  Is there another step I am missing?
    I see there is a note that I am not sure if I need to apply...note 324544...should I apply this note? 
    I am hopingthat I am clear and someone will give me guidance on how to do this correctly.  Thanks so much for your time

    I am faced with exactly the same problem.  Our PM users are reluctant to collect, delete, change or TECO old PM orders.  This results in all sorts of issues:  Open reservations, planned orders created as a result and converted to requisitions and purchase orders.  This again leads to increased stock levels and lower stock turns.
    We created a work flow (still testing) that would TECO the work order and subsequently set the final issue indicator on the work order after a set number of days.  We also manually set the final issue indicator on the work order resulting in the reservation not appearing in the open reservation list, or taking into account during MRP.
    If you come across any other way of fixing this issue, please advise accordingly.

  • User Not Found Using Migration Assistant and Time Machine

    My iMac running Leopard kernel panicked which forced me to do a hard reset. After rebooting, the account I was logged in as disappeared. Fortunately, that wasn't the admin account. I logged into my admin account and thought I would use Migration Assistant to recreate the missing account (I did run Disk First Aid first to ensure the hard drive was in good working order). However, Migration Assistant does not list the missing user account when reading my Time Machine backup. I do see the user if I go directly into into Time Machine. I'm guessing that Migration Assistant may only be looking at the most recent backup which obviously doesn't contain the missing user.
    Suggestions on how to restore the missing user or how to get Migration Assistant to read all of the users in my Time Machine backups?

    How many backups were done after the problem occurred? One possibility would be to delete those backups (see #12 in the Frequently Asked Questions *User Tip,* also at the top of this forum), so the last one has the missing user's data, and Migration Assistant can find it. If you do that, once everything's properly restored, boot up from your Leopard Install disk, then reboot normally. That will trigger a "deep traversal" in the next backup, where TM will compare everything on your system to it's backups, thus assuring that nothing was lost via the earlier deletions.
    Another would be to do a full restore from Time Machine, per #14 in the FAQ.

    You should be able to either turn off the display of history or actually delete your history, depending on your preference.

    If you are using a different field (e.g., search box) or getting a different kind of autocomplete (e.g., search entries), then that is something other than history entries.

  • Project Online - Can't Delete Resource and User from Delete Enterprise Objects

    I would like to link a resource account to a user account but I ran into an error: "The resource account
    is already in use.".  This is a known issue which I attempted to resolve by following the instructions in KB2881398.
    However when deleting the selected resource from Delete Enterprise Objects I get a message indicating success ("The
    selected Resources and Users have been deleted.") but the duplicate user is still in the listing in Delete Enterprise Objects and when attempting to link the remaining resource to a user logon account I still get the error
    "The resource account is already in use."
    Why is the user not deleted even though Delete Enterprise Objects reports success and how can I delete these duplicates to be able to successfully link the account?

    This might be due to your Exchange Sync issue, where your project workspace is unable to delete that user from local DB. Try following steps to diagnose the problem:
    1) Go to your Resource Pool, DELETE a resource.
    2) While resource is being Deleted, open another window 
    Server Settings -> Manage Queue Jobs
    3) Here you can view the progress of your current Resource Deletion update, check if all goes smooth and your Resource is deleted successfully by showing process completion 100% :
     ( to view any error look at the
    last column of table on Manage Queue Job page)
    4) Cross check your Resource by running Resource Availability Report.
    Basically this will give you a fair idea of your resource deletion problems and how system is responding to it.

    option discovered in preferences. Really this and any feature that moves deletes or edits a users data should as far as possible be OFF BY DEFAULT. It shouldn't by default and without the users specific say do this dangerous and unnecessary thing without even letting the user know what it's doing!!! And then cause me a few hours (as i'm new to mac) searching for the option so as to switch it off. If i hadn't noticed the status cage declaring that it was copying files then i might never have twigged that this insane thing was occurring. And if i hadn't of noticed i would have been left maintaining the contents of the folder i copied the files to, the folder which as far as i was informed and so believed was also the location of the music files i was playing. How does Apple justify this 'genius' piece of software non-design? Surely it will hurt no one if this was off by default for new users - overall at least i dare say it would cause a lot less distress in the future for the unsuspecting public at large.   • User not found error with Outlook Connector

    I am having some issues with the Outlook Connector (Version 7.1.222.4 JES2005Q4 running on Microsoft Outlook 2003) when trying to subscribe to a users calendar.
    Details:
    (SJES2005Q4)
    Server 1 - Access Manager
    Server 1 - Delegated Administrator
    Server 2 - Directory Server 5.2
    Server 3 - Messenger Server
    Server 3 - Calendar Server
    Server 3 - Access Manager SDK

    My setup works fine, I can subscribe to users calendars in Communications Express and modify/delete etc; however, when I try to subscribe to this same users calendar in Outlook I get the following error:
    "User not found. Either enter the email id of the user OR click on Search and then click on Find to locate the user."
    If I click on search, I get a list of my corporate directory, here I am able to select the user but again clicking ok gives the same result.
    Looking at the logs it seems that the search at the point where I click ok is missing the "organizational unit" element of the user DN, logs below:

    Initially I thought that it maybe something to do with ACI but then the search parameters are not correct at the point of clicking ok.

    The error was fixed by setting the "Authenticated proxy binding: service.wcap.userprefs.ldapproxyauth" to "yes", this is in the release notes as pointed out by Arnaud Quillaud.

    The ""not recognized for on-line use". error is associated with the Gracenote service that iTunes uses to look up and retrieve metadata for CDs.  Some users have reported that this error occurs when trying to import from CD, subsequent to upgrading to version 12.  A number of slightly different solutions have been reported (though all of a similar nature).
    Try walking through the following steps - before starting you may have to enable hidden files and folders to be viewed - in Windows 7 / Windows Explorer select Organize > Folder and search options, then on the View tab make sure that Show hidden files, folders and drives is selected.  Without this you won't see the AppData folder in C:\Users\username\
    Exit iTunes
    In Windows Explorer, go to the folder C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes
    Delete the following files:
    CD Info.cidb
    com.apple.iTunes.Gracenote.plist
    Restart iTunes
    Insert a CD and see if details are now correctly retrieved from Gracenote
    If this doesn't work:
    In iTunes, select Edit > Preferences and make a note (or take a screenshot) of your preferences settings in all relevant tabs
    Exit iTunes
    In Windows Explorer, go to the folder C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes
    Delete the following file:iTunesPrefs.xml
    Restart iTunes
    Insert a CD and see if details are now correctly retrieved from Gracenote
    If this second procedure does work, you'll need to restore other iTunes preferences settings to those that you noted in step 1.
    If this one didn't work:
    Exit iTunes
    Check the following folders:
    C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Apple Computer\iTunes
    C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Apple Computer\iTunes
    Delete any copies of the following files:
    CD Info.cidb
    com.apple.iTunes.Gracenote.plist
    iTunesPrefs.xml
    Restart iTunes
    Insert a CD and see if details are now correctly retrieved from Gracenote
    Again, if this procedure does work, you'll need to restore other iTunes preferences settings to those that you noted in step 1 of the second procedure. If you're still not able to retrieve CD info:
    Exit iTunes
    In Windows, select Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features.  Find the entry for iTunes, right-click and select Repair.
    When this process has finished, restart iTunes
    Insert a CD and see if details are now correctly retrieved from Gracenote
    If none of these have worked (and almost everything I've seen suggests you should be OK by this point), you may have an issue with the installation and configuration of iTunes itself.  If you have got this far, see turingtest2's notes on Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates for advice on how to remove and replace of all components of iTunes.

    If the application came with an uninstaller, use it. You can also check the developers site for instructions.
    But for the most part, just drag the application to the trash. Some applications come with uninstallers under "options" on the installer.
    The reason for this is that in Mac OS X most associated files are kept in the application package itself. If you choose any app then "control-click" on it, you can choose "Show package contents" from the contextual menu and you will see all the associated items.
    You can also do a Finder or Spotlight search for any other items but they will probably only be prefs which will do no harm and don't take up much room.
    These are ususally just plist files in Users/yourname/Library/Preferences . Also some apps will install files in Users/yourname/Library/Application Support. (To reveal this hidden Library go to your Finder "Go" menu hold the option key to choose "Library"
    Note: Some apps may also put a file in /Library/Startup Items or SystemPreferences >> Users & Groups >> Login items. (So, it worth a look here too)

    I have a client with a BlackBerry Pearl 8110. It was (is) configured to receive email from a Microsoft Exchange Server via his Outlook account.  I have uninstalled the Desktop Manager and re-installed ensuring the computer transmits his email via the Re-Director. All settings in the Desktop Manager are correct. The phone was working fine for over 5 years. Now he is getting emails both on his phone and in Outlook saying:

    I have verified that his phone is not attempting to perform the Enterprise Activation process by checking :
    Options > Advanced Options > Enterprise Activation.
    He does however have a Service Book entitled "CMIME"
    How can I resolve this issue?

    Is the user needing the Redirector service?
    Step 1: If you're not using Redirector or Enterprise, you should uninstall Desktop Manager and then reinstall it using the BlackBerry Internet Service option.
    Step 2: On your device, go to: Options > Advanced > Service Book, and delete all service books for [Desktop]

  • I can't download track names in iTunes for Mac and get a "User not registered for online use" error

    I have a Macbook Pro 13, OS X 10.9.5, and iTunes 12. When I rip a CD it says it can’t find the track names online. When I tell it manually to fetch them it says "User not registered for online use."
    On my other Macbook it works fine...

    You need to delete two preferences files in your user library.  The full instructions can be compiled from various posts in this topic: user not registered for online use  I use an older Mac with easy access to the user library before Apple did a mother-knows-best move and hid it in recent OS versions.
