I am getting a message in the log that "User OblixAnonymous not found" when I tried to track the user self registration .
What went wrong and why this user is not found ?

Can you preview the report in Report Builder or Report Designer?
Based on the error message, the issue may related to a invalid user account for the report data source credentials.Please verify the user account is valid and has sufficient permission to access CRM data source.

User ID not found in credentials / Sun Access Manager integration.

Hi all,
I've got SSO mostly working between AM 7.1 and IDM 7.1.0.
However, if the IM user I'm attempting to log in as is a user in an organization, rather than just being a member of 'Top' in IM, then the login fails (eg, load of /idm/user/login.jsp), with the error message "User ID not found in credentials".
Users who have an AM realm resource account and are in the Top organization work just fine; users further down the tree don't.
I'm trying to trace through the IM source (reverse engineered) and so forth, but not having much luck. Before I raise a support case on this, has anyone else seen this problem?

The answer, if anyone is experiencing the same problem, is that it turned out to be the identity policy established for the users, which had "enforce password policy on login"; an exception was thrown, "Too few user supplied questions provided and answered based on the configured minimum of 5"; this was caught somehow and rethrown as "An account ID must be specified"; this was further recaught and rethrown as "User ID not found in credentials".
Highly confusing.

Ever since v25 when I try to log into my Merrill Lynch Account I get user ID not found. Works OK in iE and Chrome

In case you use the Firefox Password Manager then try to disable saving passwords and also saved form data in case that is interfering.
Remove these check marks as a test:
*Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Remember passwords for sites"
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history": "Remember search and form history"

Sudo: user: command not found

Hi there,
I'm struggling with this sudo problem.
All i've been doing with terminal was logging into another account on my iMac and running an application, so i write sudo disk (disk is username for the other account)
then i enter password and path to the application
i've been doing this for past 3-4 month every day, bet since yesterday after entering pasword i get this error - sudo: user: command not found
Any help here would be appreciated!

i used First Aid to verify disk permissions 3 times.. repaired them, but it keeps giving me the same errors every time i hit Verify Disk Permissions..

Are these pretty bad errors? Are these causing sudo not to work?

Users "redlined" - "Not Found in User Directory"

We've been having this problem off and on all day:
In my User list under Admin page on Contribute, half of the
users have a red slash across their ID and in paranthesis this
message "Not Found in User Directory". The odd things are that 1)
they are in AD and active accounts, 2) using CPS console we can
verify the names and passwords and 3) those using C4 can log in
just fine. Those using C3 and CS3 seem to be having log-in problems
- except that I'm running CS3 and administering site, and I can log
in just fine..
Any ideas?

Have you tried using the Transition Mode (Edit, Adminster
Websites, Compatibility) for all your users, since you are working
with two versions of Contribute?

I have a problem with Multisim 8: i've installed it as administrator and when i try to launch it as a user (the user name is student) i get this error: student.ewfg not found default.ewfg nor found! i have enabled Full control options and it still doesn't work. It would be great if anyone can help me. Thank you

If you logged on the machine with an ‘admin” account Multisim
starts but when logged on with a "user" account, it does not, then
this have to be a permission issue. You need to give everyone full access
to the following folders:
1. Multisim user
2. Database
Double check mscomp_s.prd inside the database folder, the permission you set on
the Database folder does not inherent to this file.

Error Message: CORE USER CREDENTIALS NOT FOUND

I was prompted to automatically update Digital Editions 1.5, which I did. I'm on the same computer I've always had. I authorized the computer; however, now when I try to access my library, I get this message:

Document is licensed for a different user account
I used my regular email address and password to authorize the computer. Can you help? Thanks.

I contacted my library' support team and they came up with a solution. However, I'm not sure it will work for those who are unable to redownload titles (from my website, I'm able to download ebooks a second time....)
This is what they said:
1. Open Adobe Digital Editions and delete the title you are having
trouble with. Then close Adobe Digital Editions.
2. Open the 'Control Panel'.
3. Open 'Folder Options' and select the 'View' tab.
4. Select 'Show hidden files and folders'.
5. Un-check 'Hide protected operating system files'.
6. In the warning message you receive, click 'Yes'.
7. Click 'OK'.
8. Close the Control Panel.
9. Navigate to the following location:
C:\Documents and Settings\(user name)\Application Data\ Adobe\Digital
Editions\
10. Delete the Voucher folder.
11. Navigate to My Documents / My Digital Editions. Delete the PDF
file for this title.
12. Also in the 'My Documents / My Digital Editions', delete the
manifest.xml file.
13. Navigate to My Documents / My Digital Editions / ebx_backup.
Delete the PDF file for this title.
**** The following steps involve modifying the registry. Please be VERY
careful and do not delete or rename anything else in the registry
besides the items mentioned below.
14. Click 'Start > Run'.

etc.) will have 'loanToken' for the data. Expand this folder.
18. Inside the 'loanToken' folder, you will have more folders numbered
0000, 0001, etc. Select them one at a time. You should see several that
contain a name of (Default) with Data of loan. Delete each numbered
folder (0000, 0001, etc.) that contains the (Default) loan inside it.
19. Close the registry and open Adobe Digital Editions. It should open
without error.
20. Return to the library website and try the download of your title again.

Manager of user is not found in the organizational structure

While selecting check in the SSP PO screen, i am getting the above error.
Intially PO is ordered, Valid confirmation is also exists.
The actual issue is Goods receipent is no more in the company. so the PO creator wants to change the goods receipent to some other user. But here the without changing the PO itself it is throwing error.
I have cross checked all the posiblities in PPOMA_BBP attributes.
So please guide me to rectify this error.

If user doesn't exists in the active directory,blank value/message needs to be displayed.
For this i am writing the code as below,but if user is not found i am planning to display the else part.
But problem here is,it is bombing up if user is not found and displaying the exception.
Please let me know to handle the same.

Content Server Error - User not found in Identity Store

Hello,
I am trying to setup an external provider in Weblogic so that I can authenticate users via Oracle Access Manager / Oracle Internet Directory.
I have followed the documentation and created a new provider for my external Provider and called it OIDAuthenticator. I have made sure that the Control Flag is set to SUFFICIENT. Oracle Access Manager is installed and configured. It authenticates my logins and SSO works fine.
The problem is that when I try to create users in OID and then login to Webcenter, I get the following error:
WCS#2012.02.14.07.49.09 : User: tuser03 not found in identity store.
The strange thing is that I am successfully logged in with the correct groups after I click on the ok button on the error popup.
Any ideas???

The error goes away if I add the user to the Embedded LDAP.
This looks like a problem with the Control Flag setting but I can't see what I've done wrong because I have checked the Control Flag has been set to SUFFICIENT for OIDAuthenticator and OIDAuthenticator providers.
Have I missed something?

AD Password Sync to OIM 9.0.3 - User not found in OIM

When attempting to capture password on AD Domain Controller and sync back to OIM, we are receiving the below error. Have verified that the user does exist in OIM, so what Active Directory attribute for the User Account is used to perform the lookup - is it samAccountName, userPrincipalName, or something else ???? User not found FM Live Encoder 3 to FMS 3.5

We are testing Flash Media Server 3.5 with Flash Media Live Encoder 3.
Right now we have the problem, that we can not connect from FM Live Encoder 3 to FMS 3.5 running on the localhost (M:\Adobe\Flash Media Server 3.5\Apache2.2). Both running as Standard Installation on the same System (OS: Windows XP SP2). The User is not found. So where do we have to setup the user, so that the connection is possible,

ok I just solved my problem.
I am running vista and FMS is installed in ... "program files" ... etc.
So, when adding user through "users.exe" command users.dat remains empty even though it reports "new user successfuly added".
The problem was vista write protection.

Name to User - User not found

Good afternoon,
I have built a script where a caller needs to input their userID with the telephone pad using the name-to-user function. One user is unable to login. Her userid is "gauthiea" and when she types 42884432, the system says the user is not found. I have tried other users and it is working.
Any clue why this specific user is not working? Where should I start looking? The user is found in CM as well as in UCCX. Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

Just a wild guess since there have been other case-sensitivity issues in the past: does CUCM or AD show any upper-case characters in the username? If yes, try removing them.
