User receives notification mail but not workitem.

Hi,
i have encountred an issue that one user from his SAP inbox executed workitem many times resulting in a workitem stuck then
he forwarded his workitem to another user.
The other user is receiving notification mails but not workitem.
Plz help me on this issue.

Hi Vamshi,
Goto t-code SCOT; double-click SMTP and specify the mail-host and mail-port for the respective mail server.
Make the ‘Node in use’ check box as checked.
Click on the ‘Internet->set’ button under ‘Supported address types’ to specify the email-address of the recipient
Specify the email-address of the recipient who is going to receive the alert mails.
Specify ‘*’ in case of multiple email-ids. 
Goto Menu->Settings->Default Domain and specify the domain id of the company.
Save the settings done in SCOT.
Next you need to define the Alert rools.

    So i posted another topic in the 3G S forum because i was having issues with iOS 4 on the iPhone 3G S - it was not able to send or receive e-mail and all settings were intact and left unchanged - everything worked prior to iOS 4.
    Now, i have the new iPhone 4, of course with iOS 4 on it too...and i am receiving my e-mail now, but now i cannot send e-mail.
    It keeps telling me to enter a password but when i go into the Mail, Contacts, & Calendars settings and look at each individual e-mail account - all have passwords on them. All passwords are correct, but i went through a second time just to be sure and entered in each individual password to each account again just to make sure they all had passwords.
    I am still unable to send e-mail but i can receive it now.
    Is this an iOS 4 issue?

    I did try removing the accounts (i have about 20 different ones that i manage)...then i tried to "Sync Mail Accounts" through iTunes - the accounts that i wanted - and i was still having a few glitchy issues with sending or receiving e-mail when they got back on.
    So i un-checked the sync mail accounts, and deleted them all individually off my iPhone and then added them all one by one all over again - right now it seems to be working fine but it did not download all of my existing messages that should be there so basically i am starting with an empty inbox on all my accounts.
    I'm just forwarding all the important ones off my computer to the same e-mail so i can retrieve them on my iPhone then. So far everything is working.

    I have a really baffling problem. I am trying to set up my own domain email with my device and I can get it to receive POP mail perfectly using my service providers details, but I can't get it to send mail with the SMTP detail (which I've checked are right and which work in my iPad)
    I've sent it to port 25, and I am at my wits end, any suggestions., I am using a pop server from a different service provider but it shouldn't make any difference should it...??

    Hi Chip: I suspect that the wireless connection you are using is not the same internet provider you were using previously. Is this correct? Most, if not all Internet Service Providers do not permit sending from a different "SMTP' server. This would definitely cause the issue you are seeing

  • Receive some mail, but not others from same person

    A friend has forwarded to me (3 times) an email from Pajamagrams.com, and I never receieve it. She tried forwarding other mail and I've received all of them just fine. I've looked in my Junk and Trash folders both on my MacBook Pro and on Mobile Me and can't find it anywhere. I checked my rules and don't see anything that would cause it to disappear. Her Outlook account shows the forwarded messages in her Sent box (Outlook on a PC. Verizon as the ISP). She even tried sending it with and without external content. Any thoughts on what the problem may be?

    Sorry, I tried to be as specific as possible. I'm using Apple's dot Mac "mail.me.com" for the incoming server. I'm not aware of any Spam filtering done on the server. As I mentioned, I do have a few rules set up, but I could not see anything in those rules that would have caused the emails sent to me to go any further than my trash. I don't have a Spam folder, but I've looked in the trash and junk folders on both my laptop and through my .Mac account on-line. Since I'm receiving other "similar" types of emails forwarded from the same person I doubt whether Apple is going to help. My main goal with this post was to see if anyone else has had similar problems.

    What you have there is either a jailbroken unit with some crazy custom UI or an eastern knockoff. Give us some photos of the ipad itself, mainly the back and some experts can help.
    If you plug it into iTunes does iTunes even acknowledge that an ipad is connected? If it does then try a restore.
    Failing that, head down to an apple store and see what they can do for you.

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
    Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts   Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

    A brief and probably non-helpful answer: I know of no way to eliminate your large amount of duplicates other than by repetitive, tedious manual effort.

    It would seem the IMAP or POP side is logged in bit the out going STMP server is not.

    I have been having the exact same problem for weeks now with gmail.  None of my computers will send Gmail (they will recieve) and my Maverick computers (10.9.1) show gmail smtp.gmail.com as "offline".  I had installed Post Box and apple support thought it was that i had too many accounts (I have 2 ipads, an iphone (latest iOs), a work and home iMac and a powerbook).  I disabled all my gmail accounts in Mail and still no go from PostBox either . I tried connection doctor and it just spins for outgoing and say I either haveve the wrong pw or login - I dont.  I terminaled and tested port 465 (according to gmail instructions) and it works (port 25 did not).  I can access gmail from the webmail and send/recieve mail from it and it shows up in my webmail outbox. It is configured for imap.I just cannot send mail at all from any gmail account from any apple device using Mail (or PostBox). I am at a loss as was the apple support person who wished me good luck very politely and sympathetically.

    Your issue could be related to the file type or a setting with the file. In the help section of ePrintCenter.com, it goes into details on how the HP ePrint service does not support printing webpages via email at this time, HP is currently developing dedicated solutions to support webpage printing from mobile devices. Image files (like jpeg, bmp, tiff, etc) need to be at least 100DPI in order to print via ePrint. PGP encryption, digitally signed documents, macro-enabled spreadsheets and password-protected documents are not supported by ePrint at this time and will not print.

    When you set up the email account on your iPhone you probably did not set up the outgoing mail server correctly. Incoming and outgoing are two separate sets of settings. You need to set up both, and also enter your username and password for both.

    Try going into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > select the account > account name , tap on SMTP (under the 'Outgoing Mail Server' heading) and then tap on your Primary Server and try entering your email account and password and see if you can then send emails
