User reviews, feedback on Sprint cellular service for iPad

I'm just wondering what people have to say about Sprint's service. I am looking at a nice price for an iPad 4 with Sprint Cellular service, but I don't use a smartphone, so I have no basis for comparison between carriers.
I appreciate any feedback,
Rita

  • 3G Service for iPad?

    I am looking into purchasing a iPad. Just moved to UK a year ago from the states. What is the process for having 3G service for an iPad in UK and is it expensive? Also, if you travel in Europe, does it cost a lot if you are outside UK?

  • Email not working on iPad. Internet does work. This has been the case since I bought cellular time for ipad

    Old emails will open. Will not fetch emails

    I had similar problem - emails stopped downloading to my BT Internet account on iPhone. I picked up Jumbo's tip (to delete BT Internet account from iPhone and) and add under Yahoo! - it worked! Not at all sure how this happened, but annoyed that BT and/or Yahoo! playing silly beggars with my account. Does not give me confidence! Grateful for Jumbo's tip, anyway, as it was driving me nuts not being able to pick up mail on iPhone for about a week.

  • HT4157 deactivating 4g service for iPad when iPad is broken...

    My iPad recently managed to find it's way between my bike saddle bag and spokes and managed to get torn up... the issue is that I cannot turn my iPad back on to deactivate my recurring 4G coverage. Any idea how one would be able to go about doing this?

    This is how you do it if the iPad was working.

    I have replaced the SIM Card three times now with the same result with the same result each time. My operator is 3 (Italy)
    Thank you for help

    You cannot use SMS with any iPad.
    The iPad is not a telephone.
    You can use iMessage to communicate to other Apple devices.  iMessage is not SMS, and works best over WiFi.

  • Customer Service for iPad

    Is there an iPad application similar to the one Apple uses in the reatail stores for concierge check in?
    I need an application that allow me to arrange appointments and then check in the customers when they arrive.
    Thank You

    Try this from another 6/21 discussion:
    I was equally frustrated. And there is no excuse for it to have happened. But, They are trying to make it right. It appears that they have set aside a team of reps, just for this problem. Their call volume is VERY HIGH, so patience is necessary. Call 866-640-5125 and wait. It will be worth it for the unlimited data option you deserve.

  • Services for Object in creation mode

    Hi colleagues,
    I am facing one problem and I would appreciate your help and ideas. I want to enable user to use a functionality of "Services for object" in creation mode (in my case transaction IW31). In change or display mode this functionality is enabled, so creating new BOR object and such things are not necessary.
    I understand that services for object are disabled by default in creation mode, because it is not meaningful to assign some documents to object which does not yet exist. But in theoretical way, it should be possible to implement some "tricky" solution. Probably some temporary object could be created at the start of IW31 and attachments could be assigned to this object. And in some user exit executed during processing of save statement (after all checks and such things), attachments could be re-assigned to a real (persistent) object. For unsaved orders it would be necessary to delete temporary object and also attached documents.
    Have someone implemented something similar? Or any helpful ideas?
    Thank you all in advance.
    Regards,
    Adrian

    Hi,
    We have implemented exactly the same in a Ztransaction. Not sure to what extent this will help you. Check below code
      CREATE OBJECT w_gosman
      EXPORTING
    *     io_container     = io_container
    *     is_bc_object     = is_bc_object
        is_object        =  wa_object            "BOR object
    *    it_service_selection =
    *     io_callback      = io_callback
    *     ip_start_direct  = space
        ip_no_instance   = l_inst             "Pass SPACE in your case
        ip_no_commit     = l_commit        "Pass SPACE in your case
        ip_mode          = c_e
      EXCEPTIONS
        object_invalid   = 1
        callback_invalid = 2
        OTHERS           = 3
      IF sy-subrc <> 0.
    * MESSAGE ID SY-MSGID TYPE SY-MSGTY NUMBER SY-MSGNO
    *             WITH SY-MSGV1 SY-MSGV2 SY-MSGV3 SY-MSGV4.
      ENDIF.
    "Here just we are creating a reference by publishing the object.
    "During the transaction commit call below method.
      wa_object-objkey = "Pass your object ID.
    wa_object-objtyp = "Pass your business object
        CALL METHOD w_gosman->set_id_of_published_object
        EXPORTING
    *      is_bc_object   = is_object
          is_object      = wa_object
        EXCEPTIONS
          no_publication = 1
          OTHERS         = 2
        COMMIT WORK.
    Thanks,
    Vinod.

  • Understanding on Oracle services for Microsoft Transaction Server frm dba point of view

    Hi ALL,
    i read : -> https://docs.oracle.com/database/121/NTMTS/recovery.htm#NTMTS003
    Need help to further confirm my understanding on what i read.
    I am coming from the DBA angle... .
    the functionality of the Microsoft Transaction server is integrated within the operating system as a COM+ server and as a .NET server,  "
    can i say these is the application servers ?
    and the Microsoft Transaction distributed co -ordinator components is part of it.
    Question, i don't install the Oracle Recovery Services on the above system right?
    Question 2, as a dba, my only concern is to make sure the Oracle Services for Microsoft Transaction Server is installed. Is this correct ?
    plus making sure to create the OraMTS administrator to run the recovery job to check for in-doubt transaction.
    Question 3:
    is this Oracle services for Microsoft Transaction Server used only when an application useses multiple databases in an env?
    Can i say that when there is no user MTSSYS in my database, Oracle services for MTS is not used?
    The reason why i ask is i am upgrading/ migrating my database and this database don't work with more then 1 database or the application does not work with more then 1 databases.
    I ask the apps team all they say is that they are also not too sure. Thus need help/ advice.

    Daniel,
    In pre-8.1.7.4.0 beta implementations, your application server e.g. IIS or MTX.EXE hosts MTS transactional components. When such components acquire OLEDB or ODBC connections to Oracle and external service setup for that database i.e. OracleMTSService<id> joins the MTS transaction on behalf of the Oracle database which quite often runs on a non-Windows platform e.g. Solaris. We restrict each database to have one and only such service. This brings in scalability and availability issues. In 8.1.7.4.0 we have embedded the transaction join and commit logic in the clientside dll. There is no OracleMTSService<id> for a given database. The only service needed is a recovery service one per Windows machine on which Oracle Svcs For MTS is installed. This service is automatically created on installation of the product and doesn't connect to the databases. Instead the involved databases connect to the service via HTTP to resolve any MTS-related transactions that are in-doubt.

  • Can I update my iphone ios even though I don't have cellular service?

    I recently discontinued my cellular service for my iphone, but frequently use it via wireless.  Can I still update my iOS to 5.1 through iTunes?

    Yep, as long as the deactivated sim card is still in the phone, otherwise no.

  • If I bought a IPAD Mini wifi only, can I upgrade to a cellular service?

    I bought a IPAD Mini with wifi only.  Can I now upgrade to add cell service?

    No. A WiFi only iPad does not have the necessary hardware for cellular service and iPad's hardware cannot be updated. If you want cellular service, you need to buy an iPad with cellular from the get-go.
    If you are in the US and bought the iPad less thatn 14 days ago from Apple, you can return it and buy the one you want. If not directly from Apple, contct the retailer you purchased it from for its policies.
