    Thanks in anticipation.

Was this working before? If yes, any changes have been done recently?
Is the issue specific to iSupplier or to all notifications?

  • User Does Not Receive E-mail Notifications able to view Web-Notifications

    Hi,
I have an issue where one particular user is not receiving e-mail notifications. He has his notification preference set and the e-mail address assigned to that user is populated in the WF_ROLES tables as well as the WF_USERS view. He is assigned the appropriate responsibilities in order to view the notification and he is also setup in the approval hierarchy, in this case GL-BATCH.
Also the notifications in question are being accessed by him through the web-notification center. So, i'm clueless as to what else could be causing the issue.
I'm out of ideas to look where the setup is not right.
Please, kindly help me out to find the possible causes for this issue. Any advise or links to documents is also appreciated.

  • I do not receive notifications for my email account even though the email setting in Notifications is turned on. How can I fix this?

In iOS 5 I do not receive notifications for my email account even though  the email setting in Notifications is turned on. I do receive other notifications. Does anyone have any suggestion on what is wrong or how I should correct it? Thanks.

    Hey M0904,
I found the following information regarding troubleshooting notifications, I'd run through them and see if they resolve the issue:
    iOS: Understanding Notifications
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3576
    Troubleshooting notifications
Push notifications require an active Wi-Fi or cellular connection. If you are not receiving notifications for a specific app, try these steps:
Verify that the app supports notifications.
After installing an app or restoring a backup to a different iOS device, open the app at least once to begin receiving notifications.
If the app requires entering or logging in to an account, you will need to do this before receiving notifications.
Check Settings > Notifications to ensure that the app is configured for notifications.
If notifications do not appear only in the Notification Center, verify that the Notification Center setting for the app is enabled.
If you are still unable to receive notifications and you are using a Wi-Fi connection, verify that the network or firewall is not blocking access to port 5223.
    Have a good one,
    David

I am not receiving notifications from my BlackBoard app even though it is turned on in the Notification Center. It was working fine until a week ago.

    FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
    1. Turn off iPad
    2. Turn on computer and launch iTune (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
    3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
    4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTune and plug (very important)
    5. Release Home button.
    ON COMPUTER
    6. iTune has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTune.
    7. Select "Restore iPad"...

  • Not receiving notifications on both devices...

Hi! I just got an iPad mini, and I love it! The only problem i have is that I'm not receiving notifications on my both ilmy iPad mini and my iphone. For example, I will get a notification from instagram on my iPad mini, but I will not receive that same notification on my iphone. This can be a problem because I do not always have my iPad with me, and i'd like to receive my notifications on both devices. Any solutions to my problem? please and thank you in advance!

My notifications are a little bit off sync. I will usually get the notification on my iPhone first, then it comes to my iPad. I'm only talking a matter of a couple of seconds usually. If you have notifications enabled on both devices and they are set identically, there is no reason why you shouldn't get them on both devices.
Have you restarted the Phone? Or have you tried a reset? Hold down on the sleep and home buttons until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Have you tried signing out of your ID on the phone, then restart or reset the device. That might refresh the settings.

  • I cannot send or receive text messages from other iPhone users. I don't get an error I just don't receive any messages and the other users do not receive mine.

  • Do not receive notifications

    Hi
We have ACS set up in one set of servers, running Tomcat, and the main webserver elsewhere, running Apache. We need the notifications sent to the webserver.
I have set the notifyURL to be correct and also the setting com.adobe.adept.fulfillment.customNotifyURL in fulfillment.conf
However we do not receive any notification POSTs on this URL (or anything at all, from ACS)
The Tomcat server can definitely see the URL and the URL is definitely correct. There are no firewall issues. The only thing is, it's a https URL. I have made sure that inbound and outbound port 443 is open on each set of servers. I have the URL set to log everything that hits it. I can go to the URL in a browser and this connection is logged but nothing from ACS is logged and nothing from any user's ADE either.
I can see in Tomcat's logs that the notification XML is apparently being sent (I can see the XML in the log)
However it never reaches the webserver. We really need the fulfillment XML !
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

OK well thanks for the overwhelming response. I don't suppose anyone from Adobe actually reads this?
Anyway, the problem is that ACS doesn't seem able to send fulfillment notifications via https. Changing the URL to a http version solved the problem.
I eliminated a firewall as being at fault here, but what I haven't eliminated is whether Java or Tomcat are at fault rather than Adobe's completely bug-free software. In any case, using http instead of https solves the problem. Hope that's useful to anyone else who encounters this!

  • Calendar Server user can not receive external invites

    Hi,
We have a MacPro running ML Server 10.8.5 with 10 user accounts using the calendar and file server services.
Calendar server is where the issue is. We have 10 + users that are set up to send and receive external invites in calendar server without a problem. Recently, one of the user accounts stopped receiving external invites. The problem began not long after I set up a second account for the same user for their shared calendars (they requested this so all shared cals were not on their iOS devices). Although I used a separate email, it was an alias of the first so may have caused a conflict / problem (?). I got rid of the second account with no change to the first.
The account still receives invites from the other internal user accounts and the other services such as file sharing are unaffected. There are no other problems with the functionality of that user, in calendar or otherwise.
I have tried changing the email associated with that user account and setting up a new test user account (in Server). The email invite will still not come through.
I have changed it back to the way it was originally.
    Summary
One of 10 user accounts does not receive external invites
    Was working until recently
The account can send invites to external addresses
Same email address will not work even when associated with a different account
I have included a large section of the calendar error log from the part that references the email address (in red) attached to the user account in question. Apologies, I am not familiar with deciphering this information. That is why I've come here.
Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks so much for your comment ~morgen.
Sorry, I should have mentioned, that it what my first thought so I tested by ensuring the email address associated with the user account (not hosted on the server but by Google Apps) is recieving all other mail.
    I have also tried:
    - Setting all accounts (calendar, email and contact card with associated email address) in another local user on a defferent Mac. So it's not a local user or Mail app issue.
    - Sending invites from different Calendar apps and email accounts - iCloud, Gmail (both using Apple Calendar and the web interface).
That's why I came back around to thinking it must be calendar server related. However is there is absolutly no conntact with the server with incoming email invites I must be looking in the wrong place (and the wrong forum - sorry!).
Does anyone have any ideas where I should be focusing my efforts?
    Many thanks in advance.

  • Windows users are not receiving attachments sent out of Mail

I am a consultant. I use Mail in Snow Leopard. Software is up to date.
Our business uses Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. All other consultants in the company are using Windows. In Mail I connect via IMAP. It has worked flawlessly until recently.
Recently, my corporate clients (various clients not related to one another nor using the same email server) have complained that they are not receiving my email attachments. It is not universal. It is inconsistent, even with the same client. Sometimes the attachments are there and sometimes not.
I have verified two things. 1) That the attachments are present in the emails in my outbox. 2) That the emails leave our server with the attachment (I accomplished this by contacting our Microsoft Exchange service provider and giving them examples, which they tracked down and verified that the emails left them with the attachments.).
Our service provider suggested that Mail is adding something to the email that is causing Outlook (the common denominator is that the clients receiving the emails are all on Outlook) to strip the attachment. Or, the antivirus is stripping it. Something about the Mail email is causing Outlook or some antivirus software to strip the attachments.
Has anyone else encountered this? Is there something that can be done?
Right now I've had to go to Thunderbird in order for my attachments to be received. I'd rather stay with Mac all the way, but I cannot trust that my clients will receive attachments.
I'm hoping that when our company changes to MS Exchange Server 2007, that the problem will go away, since Mail can interface with the 2007 version directly. But, until then, I would really like to stick with Mail, if I can find a work around.
    Thanks.
    Matt

I am now having exactly the same problem.  But here is a new wrinkle.  ALL the persons having the problem you describe - that attachments are stripped off - are using cox.net as their e-mail provider.   I am not saying that all cox.net mail users are having the problem, but those having the problem are among the cox.net e-mail users.  None of my recipients using aol.com, yahoo.com, gmail.com, verizon.net, zona.net, etc. are having any problems.  Only some of the cox.net e-mail users.
I suspect but have not checked that they are all PC users (I use a Mac with Mail) and, now that I have become aware of this thread, I will check if they use Outlook.
It started a few months ago.  I had no problems before and now this, with the same people.  Obviously something must have changed but what?
Please let me know if you have found anything more about this - or even a solution?  :-)
