User Search result is not displaying

Hello friends,
i am facing new problem in the Portal, when i am searching any user in User Admin-> search.
its dislaying some information but its not displaying the Contact information.
can any one perovide me some help in this regard...
This error i am getting..

Amazon search results do not display properly as of Firefox 33.0

Hello,
This one is a bit strange. Lately, I've noticed that many (but not all) search results on Amazon display only eight items per page, even though the Amazon site believes it is showing me 48 results. It is as if the rest of the results are hidden behind the "next page" control.
To reproduce:
1) go to amazon.com.
2) In the search bar, enter a search term that will get lots of results. For example "sweaters women"
3) On the resulting page, go to the side menu, and choose a sub category - for example, "Women's sweaters".
4) Look at the resulting page. It will tell you "1-48 of 37,824 results ..." but you will (or at least, *I*) only see eight items -- two rows of four. Directly underneath the second row is the grey bar that shows the pages and the "previous" and "next" links. Underneath *that* is a very large white space, which looks about the right size to contain the remaining rows of results -- but they are not there.
Do you see what I'm seeing? It's strange, and it just started a short time ago. I'm only now really looking into it, and IE and Safari both show me the search results as I expect.
I am running Windows 7 and Firefox 33.0.

I do see 48 results as 12 row of each 4 results.
You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
*Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Search result is not displaying in SharePoint 2010

For one web application only we are not getting any search results. All the site collections are of team site template. Contents are there in search scope. crawl is running fine. Disableloopbackcheck has been done. But still no result. The web
app has an alternate access mapping in the intranet zone.
Any help would be appreciated.

am facing a unique issue in SP 2013. Whenever we search for a search criteria the results returned is not accurate always. Every time we navigate across pages, the search results change which is not
a desired behavior. However we also noticed that the refiner panel does not change as well and it retains the old count which leads to inconsistent results when user selects a criteria from the refiner.
any pointers / helpful links regarding this issue, if any anyone has surfaced, is highly appreciated!

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that search results are not accurate.
I recommend to run a full crawl and then to check whether the search results are correct.
If your incremental crawl is running, it may happen that, when you are viewing the data in the search result web part, the newly added content are not crawled yet.
So, after the content are updated, wait for some time.
Let your incremental crawl finish. Then view the results on the page.

OIM 11g r1 custom field in simple user search result

Good morning,
i need to visualize a custom field in the OIM simple user search result table. At the moment, when a simple user search is performed, the returned attribute is only the "Display Name".
For the advanced user search result table, is possible to add other fields modifying the Search Results table configuration in Advanced->User configuration->Search Configuration.
How can i do the same the for simple user search result?

Yes, i tried to add my custom attribute to both Simple and Adv search result table, but without luck. Only Display Name column attribute is shown when a simple search is performed.

Ship to party search help address not display

Hi,
Using 'Edit internal address' We added one plant address, and the address no also generated. plant having several address.
But when we creating shopping cart, trying to select the ship to address from the search help, address not displaying in the list.
even we tried adding this address in the attributes as delivary address also .but the address not displaying in ship to party search help.
If any one faced this problem let us know how to proceed.

whatever you have defaulted ship to adress has to come.
did you maintain at position level and make ensure that you have really inherited.
FM bbp_read_attributes
for your user execute and make ensure that you have inheited ship to address
when you create ship to address . did you check this box Ship-to Address in Use Address as:

Formatted Search icon is not displaying for the UDF

I have fifteen UDF's in the Marketing document and I have applied formatted search on each of the fifteen.
But for one paticular UDF formatted search icon is not displaying even though the formatted search is active on the field but it is working fine for other field of same kind in same scenario.
Please help me.

Increase user search result..Please guide

How can I increase the maximum user search result.
I did read some posts on SDN and did make change in the following paramters in the config tool:

ume.admin.search_maxhits

but it still searches for only 1000 users.

Its not working still.
I restarted the server again and now when I search for users, I get a message as the search result has exceed the limit.
And that the search result is not complete.
It again retrieved only 1000 users
It does not mention the limit count.
I have set the maxhit as 9000 and the warning limit to 10000
Am working on EP7 SP9

You may also have to create an allow exception to keep this cookie.
In case you are using "Clear history when Firefox closes":
*do not clear the Cookies
*do not clear the Site Preferences
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history": [X] "Clear history when Firefox closes" > Settings

Note that clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.

the problem:
everything works fine when the message is displayed while replacing. But when not displayed, only SOME variables
are replaced. I don't really understand why there is such difference in the result and why only SOME are
not replaced. I have tried changing the columns's names but found no connection between it and the result. when the message is displayed it takes like 10 times longer and makes the PC unusable.

WCP Framework 11g and SES 11g : search results are not secured

Hello,
We are integrating WCP 11.1.1.6 and SES 11.1.2.2
we have quite a stunning issue here where the search results returned by a WCP Framework application are not secured, ie secured contents are returned in the search results for unauthenticated users and for users who have no permission on these contents.
Though, the search results are well secured in the standard SES search interface (http://seshost/search/query/).
The main concern is about results coming from WCC.

we managed to integrate UCM and WCP with Document Service taskflows and it works fine, ie security is well propagated for the roles we want.
WCC/UCM and WCP authenticate users via WLS which is connected to an AD.
SES has its own identity management system which authenticates users directly to the AD.
We activated the SESCrawler component in WCC/UCM and the SES/UCM crawling process is OK.
We can search for UCM contents in SES without issue and anonymous/unauthenticated search in SES doesn't return results from non-public security groups, which is what we want.
WCP search is connected to SES (which is the default setting), eg from adf-config.xml:

So the problem is that anonymous/unauthenticated search in WCP does return results from non-public security groups, which is not what we want.
eg: access to the WCP app (don't logon)
run a search
in the search results, you can see contents which are not assigned in the public security group. Though, the WCC/UCM guest role doesn't have any permission on these SG.

How do I get the top links in the search results page to display the folder?

In the search results page, if you click on the top link from each result, it only brings up the description. Not much use as a link, so was wondering how you display the folder from this link.

Problem with Search Results do not appear consistantly except for farm administrator

We have Server farm with multiple web applications hosted on 443 port, all of them available over internet for the authenticated company users to use.
When a user searches for a content on the search box on the visited page, some/many users get no results for the first time clicking on the search box, if they refresh the page or search again, it might return the results. Again clicking on next page or
page number button it goes empty. Refreshing the page shows the current page. When Farm Administrator searches, consistantly he gets the results (though the count of results increases/decreases as he changes the page number.
Web application is on Windows Claims and Only (Default Zone) entry in Alternative Access Mapping is
https://subdomain.domain.com, this is same for all applications.
1) Can I get rid of the issue by / Effect of adding local IP Addresses on Intranet Zone?
2) Will Crawl have any effect on using the Public Domain for Crawling?

Based on your description, my understanding is that there are no search results when the users search for the first time.
I recommend to check the things below:
Use the public URL of the default zone in the content source in Search Service application.
Use fiddler or F12 tool to check the requests when doing search in SharePoint site to see if the query request has been sent successfully.
Check ULS log to see more detailed error message. For SharePoint 2013, by default, ULS log is at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\LOGS.
You do not need to add the local IP address on the intranet zone.
If you use Public domain URL for crawling, then the results returned will show with the URL of public zone even if you do search in the internal zone.

User Search Results Customization-OIM 11g R2

Hi,
I would like to add few field columns to the existing search results page and these columns are UDFs -how do I achieve this? -I tried by adding manage Users content under customize->view->source option by selecting the search result area but did not result in the same view as other OOTB columns exists.

User-Defined Type does not display values in Table Data grid

I have a User defined Type that is a collection of one character VARCHAR2 values. In the Table Data grid it does not display the character values. I know on all our other Oracle development applications these values display. Is this a bug or is there a snippet to display these values?
