User sees different version of app than I do. I don't get this.

I'm developing a web app. I've asked a user to test it out some but she is seeing an older version than I'm seeing apparently. Since I only have one version deployed on Tomcat 5, how can my user see a different-looking JSP on the screen than I do? I'm baffled. This is true day aftter day, no matter how many times both of us close our browsers and no matter how many times I restart tomcat and redeploy my application. I don't get this. What's going on?

Hi,
One of my ex-colleagues has installed a NI-DAQ 6.5 in our system. [And I do not see any other naitional instruments card in the CPU of the computer, may be he removed it] I deleted the account and all his files in the system. When I am trying to install version8.0, its not getting installed and giving me a message that I should uninstall the previous version by going to Add/Remove programs in the control panel.
I tried doing that, but the "Change/Remove" button does not seem to work...[There is no response and so unable to install the new version...]
Any idea how can this problem be solved?
It is a windowsXP operating system with SP2 installed on a machine with P4 processor.

Yes - I connected my phone to my computer / Itunes and went into the apps section, but from there I have no idea how to manage the push notifications. I even tryied going into itunes that is installed on my phone. I still cannot find anyplace to manage these popups. I have also gone into settings - notifiations - and tried turning all notifications for these apps all off but that didnt work either. I have however made sure that this is the correct Apple ID and password that I am putting in. In the Mac App Store it works.

Does anyone know of any statistics showing the numbers of users of the different versions of Acrobat Reader, or the "market share" between the different versions?
Trying to convince some developers not to bother supporting ver. 7 as 8 and 9 are well established.

After upgrade to lastest version af iTunes (10.3.1, I believe), I get this error, when iTunes runs the update of my iTunes library

That's most likely a problem with a library file or a content file, Per.
I'd perhaps try a library recreation first. There's advice for both types of issues in the User-specific troubleshooting section of the following document:

Yes I would say that the version that shows in the settings should be the same as the version that you are using so that begs the question .... Are you sure that you are using the most recent version of Skype? Did you double check in the App Store to make sure?
I had a weird issues a while back were I was getting an update notification for a coupe of apps that I had just updated the day before. So I updated the apps again. The next day I got another update notification for one of the apps. So, I updated again.
My point is - I know that the apps were updated two days before and yet I was still getting the notifications and when I tapped on update - the iPad sure seemed to be going through all of the motions of updating. I just chalked it up to one of those unexplained mysteries of the universe. Maybe this is just a fluke in your case as well.
Now having said all of that, did you try rebooting the iPad and see if the correct version appears in the settings - of course as long as you know for sure that you are using the latest version and can verify that?
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Getting different versions of apps (CS6 & CC) on 2 computers under 1 acct, despite doing upgrades

I have one CC account, installed on a laptop and a desktop. On the laptop most apps are CC version, on the desktop only PhotoShop is CC, all the rest are CS6. I keep doing upgrades, but there is never the option to upgrade to CC, only CS6. How can I get the applications to be consistent across the two computers? It's a pain when I open a file (that was created on my desktop) on my laptop and resave it, then get the warning about saving to a "legacy format".

Same here. Just becoming a nightmare. Updated iTunes and now can't update apps it itself is showing as available updates. Count me in on the latest "You can not update this software since you have not owned the major version of this software." bug.
Next I have to post about a new problem in iPhoto on a new thread.... it lost the "link" between some but not all photos I have in the library and what it itself posted to FaceBook a few hours ago...

I got the iPad 2 for Christmas 32gb and for some reason it did not come with the green messages app. Is there any way to get this on my iPad or am I out of luck?

What version of iOS have you get (Settings > General > About > Version) ? Messages was introduced with iOS 5, so if you aren't on that then you can update to it and you should get the Messages app.
Connect the iPad to your computer's iTnnes and copy any purchases off the iPad via File > Transfer Purchases (you may also want to copy photos off the iPad as well) and then force a backup of the iPad by right-clicking the iPad 'Device' on the left-hand side of iTunes and selecting 'Backup'. You may also want to copy off the iPad any important documents, notes, files etc e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case.
You can then start the update by selecting the iPad on the left-hand side of iTunes, and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button.
