User session stops completely and restarts (GNOME 3.10)

Since last week I have experienced suddenly closing all applications closing and sending me to the log-in screen.
Using journalctl I can see that all applications exited with a "Fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server :0". It all ends with the user session stopping and then being started again.
Here is a journald log from yesterday at 13:10.

From what I remember I have also had this issue when Skype wasn't open.
Yesterday my computer started up beeping - I took the harddisk out and it started normally (initramfs tho). Then I put it back in and the laptop have been running fine so far. I suspect it might just have been a bad connection, but I am giving it time..
EDIT: Still experiencing the issue..

    Hi,
that's because Logic reads the volume information out of the imported MIDI tracks and sets the volume fader according to this information. The MIDI information overrides volume settings you have done, so you have to identify the MIDI events that contain volume (or expression or pan or whatever) information and delete them. You can use the event list editor for this.

  • Re: User Session using ServletSession and Stateful EJB in Cluster

Sorry , I didn't use WLS 6.0, we use wls 5.1 in production.
But in Wls 6.0, in some situations , the state of the stateful session bean can be lost. So it's not so reliable. You have to deal with it in the client code. Instead, servlet is a reliable solution.
In order to test under wls6.0, you can store the handle of the EJBObject in the HttpSession, not in jndi, cos if the instance fails, all its objects will be removed by remaining instances from jndi. In another instance, you get the handle, and try to get the EJBObject.
In wls5.1, some information like the server url must be embeded inside the handle. But in wls6.0, I don't know how they deal with it.
I am looking forward to your results

Any one tested this scenario yet? i.e: storing the handle to an EJB object and then trying to re-use after the HttpSession is restored?

I've trying to get into Photoshop, but while it's loading, it stops responding. I then have to force quit it. I tried to get into it many more times, but it still didn't work. I tried restarting the computer and that didn't help either. What do I do?

Did you install PS from the install disks or migrate it over from another Mac using the Migration Assitant?
If you migrated it over, try uninstalling in and reinstalling from the install disks. Some users have reported issues when they migrated PPC-coded apps over to an Intel Mac.

I do not know what to do it all start its skipping when I upgraded to OSX Mavericks.
Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?

Hi, have you found something work for you ?
Happens to me as well but not started in mavericks all started with Mountain Lion , a few weeks before he left mavericks , I thought the problme would be solved by updating , but he did not, it's very frustrating strange thing is that in my case not only iTunes is , if any player, have proven Vox and another which I forget the name .
I also feel the same when you play a song in quick look ( Finder) .
I am desperate this problem is with me for the last month and a half went to a apple store and tell me that my machine has nothing that can not help me, and tried everything , reset my machine with a clean install , restart PRAM , repair permissions hise disk hardware test , and nothing has changed.
When iTunes pause my machine freezes a moment and returns to normal when continuous playback , stops about 1s though sometimes hard to 5s .
We appreciate if you find solution , because I am going crazy . Since neither in apple have been able to help me .
My machine is a Macbook Pro late 2012. Mavericks , iTunes 11.1.3 did not correct my mistakes. Do not know what else to try .

If you’re running Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther), as your profile indicates, you probably have the problem described here:
    Overstuffed mailbox is unexpectedly empty
Unfortunately, doing what the article suggests to solve this problem once the mailbox has already become “overstuffed” rarely works.
Because of the differences between Mail 1.x and Mail 2.x, however, further discussing your problem here might confuse other users with similar problems using Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger), so please start a new topic in the Mail & Address Book - Mac OS X 10.3 & earlier forum, or just look for other threads discussing the same problem. This is actually a FAQ in that forum.

  • Interaction Record : How to make it non editable based on user status = Complete and on click of  Save

    Hi Guys
We have a requirement ,where we need to make the interaction record "not editable " when we set the user status to "Complete" and after "Save" button is pressed.
Please note that we can't make use of status profile settings as we have to enter some information after the status is complete , that means
after user selects status "Complete" he has to select the value from another drop down and then Save.
Standard offers such that once the Complete is chosen in dropdown the whole screen is frozen.
Once he saves it , the document should be locked(read only/non editable)
    Any pointers ?
We tried "Set_view_Group_Context" and Order_Save BADI and we are not preferring disabling at attribute level as we might add few more attributes later.
    Regards
    Vinayak

    Hello,
    We had a similar requirement.
The best way we found was to implement the enhancement spot in the beginning of method LOCK_ORDERS of class CL_CRM_METHODS_BTIL. Here, you can prevent the user from editing a business transaction. Be aware this method is called for any BT, so you need to adjust your custom development accordingly.
    Hope this helps.

  • Firefox doesn't exit properly. Please put a button on your error message to close it. I'm tired of having to remove and restart.

This seems to be a recurring problem with many of us. Every day I have to force an exit to Firefox (3.612) and restart it. None of the suggestions made for fixing it help (extensions etc). How about taking that error message and putting a button on it that stops Firefox and restarts it? Click and done. If we can't fix it, work around!
    Thanks.

Some possibilities are suggested in the "Hang at exit" section of this article:
    http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_hangs#Hang_at_exit
There's quite a bit to work through there.

  • Create new user session after RFC connects

    Hi,
My client is non SAP. They connect to SAP through an intermediate software , using RFC connections. My client requires that when creating a BOM through BAPI, the "created by" column should have a user name they pass, and not the username with which the RFC connected .
Is it possible to have a FM in which I can create a new user session, passing username and password, call the bapi that will create the BOM with this username, and close the session?
    Kindly help.
    Thanks in advance

Most security audits will trigger a warning when they determinate that the RFC common user is allowed to use another logon id. Usually you can provide auditors a list of such id with explanation before the audit execution, sample of explanation to provide :
    - The RFC enabled FM which create the batch job must pass the logon id to be used, and the calling application must not allow user to change this value.
    - The RFC default logon, should be allowed to the minimal authorization required, and could be for example allowed to no transaction, only some RFC FM. (start with [Note 460089 - Minimum authorization profile for external RFC programs|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/460089])
