User Specif Felilds in Routing operation details screen

Hi Techies,
Here I want some information regarding
User Specific feilds:
Here we can have
4 - Text boxes,
2- Value Boxes
2- Quantity Boxes
2-Indicators.
Can any one explain the relevance of these feilds and how can they control the flow..

Hello Kiran,
This user fields are information fields. They don't have any control parametes.Unless you want to influence the process by user exit or any other enhancement, this field are for information only.
The data from this field can be viewed in production order and used in shopfloor docs(print). Orelse the other option was is to use this in confirmation screen(with userexit) for additional information.

I have added custom statuses to operation object in WM6.2. When I am editing the operation,Operation number is displaying in operation details screen header.But when trying to execute custom statuses, the operation number is not holding in Operation tile view header as in the below screen snap.

Hi sravanthi,
Just make sure that when you are editing operation object for custom statuses change you are editing same object that you are seeing in operation details screen.
I think this problem is due to different/stale operation object that is being edited for when you are calling Operation Edit Transaction for change status for (custom statuses).
I recommend to check your Target for Button , Action and Edit Transaction for this (is it same operation object that is being seen on detail screen/being edited for).

User specific default variant in a selectio screen

Is it possible to provide an option to create user specific default variant in a selection screen?
I have developed a custom report program. Now I want to allow users to choose one of their variants as default variant ? Please help.

Hi very Simple and easy solution:
In SE93 when u are creating the transaction for the program use the option 'Start with variant' and give your own vaiant name for the program start. This will help you in starting your proam always with your default variant.

Track Changes made in Routing Operation Detail

Hi gurus,
I need your help with Routings.
We have a process where if a change is made into the Routing, we have the Change Master process and a Change number is assigned to this Routing.
For example, if a change is made into the Description of the "Operation" into the Routing, I can see this change with transaction CA60 and CA61.
But, if a change is made into the "Operation Details" i.e.: change the labour data or the overlapping data (where before it was Required overlapping and now is No overlapping); this kind of change into my Routing is not showed in transactions CA60 or CA61.
I checked that a changed was made because the "Changed on" field was updated and "Changed by" field.
Then, I checked the tables CHDHR and CDPOS and I can see that a document was created with the changed that I did, but, it does not show the detail of my change (i.e. old value was: Required overlapping, new value is: No overlapping).
Do you know where I can see that my change was made? Or, is it possible to track these kinds of changes into SAP? where and how?

Look for the change history in change header and change positions.
The tables are CDHDR and CDPOS.

I need to print the supply area (While creating work center in CR01, we will assign the supply area to the work center) information agains the each operation of the routing.
From which table we can extract this supply area which is assigned to a particular work center to print?

I am not sure but you can check table P3000. There is field PRVBE (supply area) in it.
Also, check transaction code OP42.

Routing Operation Cost Relevancy blanking out

We appear to be losing the cost relevancy on the operation detail screen in CA02 (routing updates). That is, when changing a routing other than the costing relevancy, the costing relevancy checkbox on the operation detail screen is changing from X to blank.
Our logs do not show a change in this field so CA60 does not help. The problem is intermittent (translation we do not see the pattern).
Has anyone experienced this behavior and if so, find a cause and/or solution?

Refer OSS note - 430321, check if the symptom specified there matches with what you notice.
If its not the case, then you might check back if it was caused due to some human intervention. If not then maybe you can log a call to SAP to have a look in your system.

ZFK02 - Bank details screen shouldnot display

Hi,
User donu2019t want to see bank details screen in the transaction variant ZFK02. I went to SHD0 there I selected the screen variant where bank details are appearing. But in the screen u201CDo not display screenu201D option is disabled. How to modify this field?

Hi All,
Thank you for your time. I found the solution. In the SHD0 you will find the screen variant tab. There we need to give the new name and create one more scren variant (before the delete old screen variant) and assign it to the transaction variant.

Reload Detail screen everytime user searches

Hello
I have created a custom app using the master - detail template.
I want to change the standard functionality to reload the detail screen every time a user does a search, even if the search returns the current loaded entity in the detail screen as the first record.
i.e. I want to reload the detail screen after every server hit (no matter what entity is returned first)
At the moment I can see that the event onRouteMatched is not fired if the detail entity is not changing.
I can see that the master view calls the method showDetail

Thanks for responding, I did go down the route of firing a Route Matched event if the entity is not changing.

How to prevent error message for material description in MDG material detail screen, when user click on check action

Dear Experts,
I have a requirement for making material description as non mandetory in change request view of mdg material screen.
I have done that using field usage in get data method of feeder classes, but still message is displaying.
This message 'Material description is mandatory is displaying with check action only, but not with save or submit after i anhance field property as not mandetory.
How to prevent error message for material description in MDG material detail screen, when user click on check action.

Hello Sukumar
In IMG activity "Configure Properties of Change Request Step", you can completely deactivate the reuse area checks (but will then loose all other checks of the backend business logic as well).
You can also set the error severity of the checks from Error to Warning (per CR type, not per check).
Or you provide a default value for the material description, e.g. by implementing the BAdI USMD_RULE_SERVICE.

How to display user define value in list screen from detail screen

I am working on task in which i have to display the user define value on list screen. like i have one list list screen which have one button for add..once i click on add which navigate to detail screen and detail screen has two fields one for ID AND other for name and detail screen has one button for save once i put value for id and name and click on save button which will navigate to previous list screen and those values which should be display on list screen.

To navigate to the Master page on button click , you need some thing like,
oSplitApp.toMaster("masterpage_id");
to understand the navigation for Master/Detail page , have a look at,

Also to pass value from Detail page to Master page, you can use a Global variable to store your values on click of the Save button. For eg. You may have a global JS file which both Master and Detail page can access like App.Js, Application.JS etc.
After navigating to the Master page, you can read the Global variables and show it on your Master page.

User- Specific screen sequence in MMR

1.Define Structure of Data Screens for Each Screen Sequence
2.Assign Secondary Screens
3.Maintain Order of Main and Additional Screens
4,Assign Screen Sequences to User/Material Type/Transaction/Industry Sector.
5.Maintain User Settings
Custamization path for the above configuration in SPRO is

Additioanl user-field in approval detail screen

Hello,
We would like to add the shopping cart number as a user field in the detail screen of the SC approval trx. (BBPSC07)
In the detail screen in the standard SRM 5.0 the only field which are displayed are (in the additional especifications):
Name of Shopping cart ....
Notes for approval...
We want to let appear here als the SC number.
Im not sure we can acomplish this by using note 672960
This note is about adding fields to documents, not about adding fields in trx.
Anyone done this before? Please help me out.

This seems to be bit difficult....However you could try modifying the ITS template to display the SC number which is a std field.

you have two solutions for your issue.
1. please check the resolution of your desk top which you are working.
2. SAP has fixed the screens like that onlly so please write to SAP if there is any solution on this they will provide because no enhancements or developments or no programs i think we can do that.
