User status at operation level

Hi,
I have created one user status profile and attached in order type. In this profile I have included Operation and Order header as an "Allowed object type"
My problem is when I am changing user status at order level , it is not getting changed automatically at operation level.
Pls suggest me the solution.

I dont think it is possible .
A suggestion not sure if it works .
Assign user status profile operation wise and then have some development to check the operation status and
then update production order status with same user status you mentioned in operation.
FM: STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN will help you to change the user status of order.

Planning board user status at operation level

Hi Guys,
Our user is not using planning board and therefore system status should not have DISP status as system status.
Now user needs two profiles in the CM07 bases on the statuses SCH and RFS.
Profile 1: For operation user status=SCH
Profile 2: For operation user status=RFS
I know how to create over all profile for planning board from the below path.

User status in item level in Interaction center

I confirgue the sales function in Interaction center. I want to set user status in Item level. But I don't find the user status field in item level in UI. Could you tell me how find user status field?

Yes, I have already confirgued status management and assigned to item category. I can see the status appear in back office UI but not in Interaction center. So it is strange.

Item user status at plant level

Hi All
I have configured certain User Status which are assigned to Item category. Item category is used in all the plants but user status is applicable for only few plants. So User status will also appear in those plants where it is not applicable.
In Cost object Sales orders I have the option of selecting the User status manually in Status tab by clicking in 'Object Status' button. But in the items which are not cost object 'Object Status' button does not appear. So I have to assign to Item category in Customizing which will then always be defaulted even though it is not required in ceratin plants.

USER STATUS at Activity Level

I do have user status defined for Activity and it doesn't show up when i set the status. All i see is SYSTEM STATUS and not user status. To see user status i need to click the blue button (with I symbol) and then see it. Why is this happening like this?
But at Network Header level & WBS level i see both USER STATUS & SYSTEM STATUS.
Any info will be a great help

I think WBS and Network are controlling objects in SAP. Activty is related to execution. This may be the reason why SAP has provide detailed ie user statuses at WBS and network level only.
In my opinion you cant achieve this in standard SAP, you may have to for devlopment of customised screen. User exit CNEX0008 will help you.

I SEE THAT FILL IT_METHODS AND IT_USERSTATUS BUT ONLY CHANGE THE USER STATUS OF HEADER ORDER.

There you can change the operation details including the User status.

Need help on to set User status for Operations in Maintenance order

i am new to PM module.
i need to do BDC for IW31. i want to know some inforamtion
on user status for each opertaion.
my problem is ,, what is user status.
why it is saying order is not yet released when saving and status can not set.
in this cases how can i do BDC.

User status are something set in the configuration and specific to the company which SAP hasn't given in the system status.
May be in your system user status are configured to set only after the release of the order.
For doing the userstatus you may need to release the order, you can release the order thru bdc and then do bdc for user status. Also see below link

USER STATUS For Inquiry at Item level in VA12.

Dear Sir/Madam,
In Customer Inquiry we have maintained User Status at item level as 10,20,30,40 as radiaobutton.
Now we have to trigger event to initiate workflow as User changes User status from 10 to 20 like that.Currently
if user changes status from 10 to 20 in VA12 we get BO BUS2030 & Event 'Change'.
But we unable to trace exact changed status of that item in that particular Inquiry numbers.
1.All such user status are stored in JESt table but its get updated only after save button.So if i also try to use User exit to trigger Event
but i am unable to get Run time values of JEST table (USER STATUS).
2.If i go for BSVW (STATUS MGT ), in that we have 'VBK-SALES Header' & 'VBP-SALES ITEM' status present.But we have maintained User status at item level
so if we use 'VBP' then we didn't get BUS2030 BO & in Header 'VBK' we get BUS2030 but its at header level..so its didn,t give us item level status.
So Pease suggest me some way to handle such situation.

So what is your problem? You are not able to trace for which item the event got triggered?
I think you can make use of Change document table CDPOS and CDHDR to check which item had a latest change in status and accordingly incorporate this info in Workflow.

I ma trying to update the user status of an operation of an order using function module status_update but it is not working properly. Although the same function module is working fine for updation of user status of order. Can somebody please tell me some other function module to update the user status of operations?

Hi Aditya,
   Object key is nothing but the Order number.
   If you are changing the header level data the Object key is ordernumber. Example: 000300001487
   IF you want to change the Components or Partners or Operations then we have to specify the line item number along with order number.
Example : if line item 0020 needs to be changed then Object key = 0003000014870020.

User status linking between wbs and network

Dear All,
I got one requirement in which i am using user status at wbs level to block all the transactions. Now the problem which i am getting is that even though i am maintaining the user status at wbs level, users are able to post the data on network activities. If i am maintaining the user status at activity level than i am able to stop the same.
Kindly suggest cant we maintain user status at wbs level and stop fi posting at activity level. Is there any way to achieve this.

Service Order Component User Status

Hello All -
Has anyone successfully tied a user status profile to the component item on the service order? I've added the object type from BS12 and BS02, but I can't find a configuration assignment at the component level. Any help is greatly appreciated!

What i get with your query is that you want to know the user status at component level. I mean to say for example if suppose product has come for repair than at each level of service what is the status of the process at user level you want to know that.you can get that into table crmc_status_proc table. this table is UI filter in order to restrict visibility of status management in the CRM business transaction to the necessary functions there.
Entries in the CRMC_STATUS_PROC table control the following:
Which system status should be displayed in the CRM business transaction?
Which of the system statuses used in the CRM business transaction are lifecycle statuses?
Which system statuses may be set manually in the CRM business transaction?
Which system statuses may be deleted manually in the CRM business transaction?
If a system status may be manually set or reset, which business transactions should be used for setting or resetting?
Should the display or maintenance be restricted to specific business object types?
Which of the system statuses used in the CRM business transaction should be displayed in the toolbars for status maintenance?

Delete user status

Hi,
as per our requirement, we have 5 user statuses for item level --
Open
In process
Partially Delivered
Delivered
Now the problem is that with change of a previously saved order, the 2nd status 'in process' is being set. The transaction analysis in the system says that 'Error User status InPr must not be deleted Long text exists".
Does anyone know how to ensure that the second status gets deleted so that the next status can be set for the line item?

User status for order confirmation

Dear Expert
My requirement is when system status for maintenance order is CNF and authorize person agreed with all data in confirmation, he will set user status and then only I can complete my order (Teco).
Till now I created one user status OCAP (operation conf aprroved. ) and I allowded TECO only at this status. when system will have any other user status TECO is forrbiden. and it is working fine.
but now if my order is not CNF and person approves order(select OCAP) system allow to do TECO.
How I can stop this?
I mean if order status is not CNF even person select any user status system should not allow for TECO. If both condition are correct then only system will allow for TECo.
