User status shift automatically?

Dear SAPIENTS,
I have created two user status:
10 NWLD lowest 10 highest 10
20 ALWD lowest 20 highest 20
Now 1st one is active i want second to be automatically active after one movement on the same screen: eg say in inspection lot screen I am attaching task list so system status getting change. Now here I want as soon as task list assigned my user status should shift auomatically to 20

Diagnosis
The user status 'ALWD' has reference number 20. In the current object status, the reference number of a status may not be higher than 10.
Procedure
You can only set user status whose reference number is not higher than 10.
For the status 20 I have taken transaction and selected SET button but then also its not shifting.

STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN : This is used to set or delete User Status
STATUS_CHANGE_INTERN :This is used to set or delete System Status
STATUS_READ : This is used to read system status or user status
First check up via User status , with proper status numbers
If ur having many different than better u can go for user exit : IWO10009 PM Order: Customer Check for 'Save' Event. to check at save and set status accordingly ...
For reading latest status - u may have to read from structure i think ..
Tables :- JEST, TJ02T,TJ20 etc

User status for Service Issue{for particular Sales order} in CRM

Hi Experts,
I've an issue related to the User status in CRM.
I've a Sales Order and I'm creating a service issue for it in CRM.
For the service issue number has some user status and I want to know from where it is coming.
Is there any configuration involved in it, or is it coming from the standard coding part.
Please let me know how to find the user status for a service issue.

I'm asking about the user status not the system status.
The user status has only the values{open, worked & closed}.
now for a service issue if it is rejected then the user status are automatically changed into "Closed".
So if you have any idea in this please help me.

User status to prohibit automatic creation of PR

Hi Gurus,
I have scenario when project needs to be released in the beginning of the project for incoming order analysis of the project. Now if I release the entire project, the PR is generated automatically, on release. I want to restrict this.
For this I have created a user status. and I am trying to prohibit the creation of PR from project. But its not working.
Can anyone please help on this

Hi,
I think I should now explain the scenario in detail.
The PR should be generated on REL , Necessary settings have been done. Now there is a need to do incoming order analysis, for this project should be released during the beginning only. Now the problem is that due to early release of project all the PR are created.
But in practical situation this shud not happen, PR is only generated when material is really required.Hence ideally only the desired activites/ WBS should be released as and when required.
Hence, if I change parameter to Never. No PR would be generated unless someone manually change it to Immediately. There are more than 500 materials on the project. So changing manually is not a good Idea.

Automatically updation of User Status

Hi All,
I am facing a problem on automatic updation of user status.As I have a process that on the basis of one field value in a quality notification I want to update the user status automatically.
I explored something with business process but not getting the right way to use it.
Please guide me if anyone deals with the same scenario or know more about using business process with user profile.

You will have to Develop a report to do this...
You should use FM CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN to do this...
Details of how to use this FM for Updating Status could be found in CRM forum..
I would advice to consult your CRM Tech Team who are in best position to do this..

How to release user status for sales documents automatically

Hi All,
We have configured status profile for third party sales document type. This will stop creating PR from sales order. After chaning the status from STP to GO, system will create PR. But the problem here is user is going and changing the object status manully.
The business wants to release at a time many records automatically. Do we have any transaction code which we can use for changing the user status automatically for many orders?
We have tried V.26, but this is just report we can not change the status automatically,

No standard program exists for it, as statuses are always customized.
create a BDC program for status change and run in backgram as batch job.

User Status automatically checked when a order is scheduled twice or more

We created a User Status called "Rescheduled" for Work Orders
We want that the system flag this status automatically when a order is scheduled twice or more in CM33
Is that possible?

Use program "PPPRBSEL" with a custom defined Selection Profile to select production orders if you want to pick the orders based on the required user status and also activate check box for "Reprinting", this program can also be scheduled to run in background to automatically print.

How can i set automatic change of user status(for WBS)?

Everytime when i create invoice for customer shipment using transaction code VF01, i need to change user status of WBS element manually in project to INTG in order to recognize the revenue. Is there any possiblity to change user status of WBS automatically after invoicing?

I have Compressor 4 already, defined an own parameter set there (with 1024x680 resolution) but this was not displayed as an option in FCP X. I want to produce my resolution directly from FCP X, not produce it in another resolution and then convert it via Compressor. Let alone the fact that non of the FCP-included resolutions has a width-to-height ratio of 3:2 like mine. The solution would be to know where FCP stores its presets and to be able to modify them or add new presets.

Perform automatic notification actions based on user statuses

According to the doco in the IMG for defining status profiles, it should be possible to do stuff when a status changes:
When you maintain the status profile, you can, for example, specify whether quality notifications can be processed in this status or whether a deletion flag can be set. You can also specify whether a deletion flag is to be set automatically and whether the system should respond with a warning message or an error message when a deletion flag is set. (my emphasis).
This is exactly what I'm trying to accomplish: delete notification when a particular user status is set. But how? The business transaction control only specifies what can/cannot be done, nothing about what should be executed on a status being set, let alone automatically.
Or am I missing something obvious? Version 4.7 here.

Activity x--> When confirmed should trigger WBS user status to Phase I complete

Similarly.
How do i do this in PS? I need the WBS user status to be triggered Automatically from activity confirmation.

I think it is possible throuugh Event Linkage Method( SWETYPV transaction), can get help from your ABAPer/workflow guy.
I am just giving hints which may help your ABAPer .
Get Business object for Network BUS2002,
Check for Event of Confirmation if not available , create the event for custom Business object (copy of BUS2002).
Maintain this through SWETYPV transaction,
in Detail level enter Receive function module that should consist of actual logic.

Mark a user status in production order automatically through user exit.

Hi all,
I have a requirement....I have a user profile which has got 4 status one of them is MFAR.
I need to check this status through an exit automatically so that it appears in the status line
and does not allow for goods receipt at the time of order creation through CO01 .
I have earlier tried with EXIT_SAPLBSVA_001 but this is only for formatting the text line whether I want to display that status.So it is not working for my case.
I could not find any exit for checking the checkbox for user status MFAR.

You can call the inspectiion whatever you want up to I think 6, (maybe 8) characters.
You can use 04pppp where pppp = your plant ID. So 041000, 042000, 042010, 043000, 043140, etc...
In the insepction type setup in the material masters you can set the inpsection type you want to use in that plant as the "preferred" one by checking that box in the inspection setup in the material master.

Hi Omer,
As far as user statuses and customizing is concerned, you cancustomize only upto extent given in SPRO status management. If that does not fullfill you needs then status management BADI is given.
You can define the System status that should be mapped for your user status but can not define a user status for a sub-process level !!
If you know what is the system status on completion of your slae stages, then you can map your user statuses to those system statuses.
