My project requirement is to find out the user status. Is the user active or inactive.. can anybody provide the technical details for the same. I mean table level..

Status Profile in SAP CRM plays a very important Role. It's spans across multiple Objects. You can get the status profile information in the following Tables:
TJ20 - Status Profile.
TJ30 - User Status.

I doubt whether you are going to get the count using maxl, if the command you are using is producing information you can use then you might have to spool to a file and then parse the file and get the count values e.g. excel, scripting.

How to make the workflow users as active users in SAP R/3

Hi All,
We have got an issue in R/3 system where a certain number of users who are created only to approve work flows via Outlook emails.
They are not required to log in to the system at all. Due to this,the users are getting locked by a Security background job which locks all the inactive users.
Now My question is how to make these work flow users as active users in R/3 system so that we can avoid locking of these users.

You do not need a report to do this. The instance parameter
login/password_max_idle_productive
will do this for you.

How do you find who created a user in Active Directory?

I think it would be almost impossible to tell who created an individual AD record, as in my experience there is generally only 1 Domain Admin account for which to create users.

So I've done some research and have found LDAP queries that will tell me when a user is created, but not necessarily who created the user. The reason I am asking is because I ran an audit of active and inactive users and between my boss and I (we are a small company so we know all the users) we could not figure out who some of the users were. Thanks for your help!

      (2) I wonder if there are inactive and active version for all program ?

Hi,
Only activated objects can be accessed by all the users. If the object is under developement only active version is visible to everybody which can be accessed.
An object may have any number of inactive versions, but it isi invisible to other users. It is confined only to your worklist. once you activate this it will beactivated and will be available for whom so ever it is authorized.
By activating the object, the system checks the syntax of the entire object, then creates an active version, generates a runtime version, and deletes the corresponding entry from your inactive object list. Only active versions can be transported to other systems.

Active and inactive portal objects

I would like to indentify the active and inactive(unused) objects (Rolles, Worksets, Pages, iviews, etc...) in portal. Can any one advice me how to identify them.

a tool that might help you as a super administrator to check object dependencies / delta links and to compare object properties (e.g. for objects where you assume they are multiplied), might be the PCD inspector. Before using it you should be aware of the following comment: T"he change function should only be used with great care and by persons who have expert PCD knowledge. Accidental changes (such as deleting a PCD object) normally cannot be undone and could gravely endanger or permanently damage the portal." So be careful when using this tool. Hi,
Basically in the Development Configuration you will be able to see 2 types of development component.
1)Active
2)Inactive
Whenever user needs to change any coding or development then he needs to do this in the inactive DC.
After check in the activity it will sync with the Active DC.So that means the Active DC is contained data after the check in activity.Both are sync.We are not able to do any changes in active DC.
This is the restriction by sap

Ever since the latest OS X update, my apps flash from active to inactive every few seconds.

Since the last OS X update 10.10.3, my apps flash from active to inactive and back again. It happens with all of my open applications, and it keeps me from typing accurately because the app, flashes to inactive while I am trying to type.

When you have the problem, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.
These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
          SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
          View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Scroll back to the time you noted above.
Select the messages entered from then until the end of the episode, or until they start to repeat, whichever comes first.

Hi Mukesh,
When you are developing somthing through JDI (NWDI), you will have inactive dc and active dc.
If you want to do some changes in code then you can do these changes through inactive dcs. Whatever changes you do in inactive DCs and until you check-in that activity. other developers cannot have those changes.
but, when you check-in your activity those changes will be visible to other developers who are working on the same DC but this updated code will not be reflected in active DC.
But when you activate that activity, those changes will be reflected in active dc and this active dc will be deployed on Development server.
In summary, inactive DCs contain intermidiate code which is not ready to deploy on Development server yet. This updated code is available in Active DC.
Hope now you are clear with Inactive and Active DCs.

NOOK Simple Touch says "Error Dialog: user not activated" whenever I try to open e-books?

I have had my Nook Simple Touch for about a year now, and I have been using Adobe Digital Editions without a problem. Now, all of the sudden, Barnes and Noble updated my software and I can't read any of my ADE books!! It just says "Error Dialog: User not activated" every time I click on them. I have looked at many other websites and I have tried plugging my nook in to my computer and reauthorizing it, reauthorizing my computer, deleting the digital editions file and .adobe-digital-editions file, redownloading my books, turning my nook off and on, crying, and screaming. The weird thing is, in all the instructions, it says a pop-up box will come up when I delete the files, but it never does. Is that normal? I always have to do it manually by clicking on the gear. I even made sure I "unhid" all the hidden files. I HAVE DONE EACH OF THESE AT LEAST 5 TIMES AND THEY NEVER WORK!!! HELP ME, PLEASE.
Also, a lot of the websites say to make sure your Barnes and Noble ADE I.D. is the same as the one on your ADE computer I.D.. Is the B&N ADE I.D. different from just the Barnes and Noble ID? Becasue I have been using my sisters email for my computer ADE and my email for the B&N I.D.. Are they supposed to be the same? If so, how come I was able to use it without a problem before?? I tried reauthorizing ADE with my email, because I also have an ADE account with my email, but then it wouldn't let me redownload my books onto the new account. Does this mean I have to change the ADE computer I.D. and wait until my books are available again to read them? Is that the way to fix it? UGH!

Just to clarify, there are two levels of Authorization -- one for the ADE software and one for the nook. You have to use your Adobe account to authorize both (and they have to be authorized with the same user name). It sounded like your original problem (Kcoline) was with the Nook authorization, and it was the same problem the rest of us were having.
To get your files back, I suggest carefully reading over the "Activation and Authorization" section of the ADE help. It appears that ADE will automatically find your files but note the "Note" in quoted text below...

If it's not finding your files, it may be because they're located in a folder different from the one that ADE is trying to use to find them.
You may also want to check the "Transferring items between computers" section, as this describes where the files should be located, and how to reimport them into your library.

One computer, but two user-accounts active, at the same time, in 10.6?

I'm contemplating this setup: A current generation MacPro (running SL), with two monitors. Can I have two separate user-accounts (the Admin account and one additional user-account) active and running simultaneously from the MacPro, but, of course, displayed separately to the monitor corresponding with that user-account?

you can have two accounts logged in at the same time via fast user switching but there is no way to display them at the same time on different monitors.

I had Adobe upgraded to from 1.2. to 4.1 on my Glow Light Nock at Barnes and Noble yesterday. I use a MacBook Pro 2011 upgraded to 10.10.1. I have never had a problem download a book from the library to my nook in the past. By the time I get this issue resolved, my 2 week book will be overdue and my book club discussion 1/21. I have been to the genius bar at Apple store--not their problem. Two trips to B&N and
the tech guy said he could fix the problem on a PC but not a Mac. It is not a Mac or Nook world.

Creating a windows user in Active Directory

I am trying to create a user in Active Directory that can log on as any other Windows user, but when I try to log into Windows, I get the following error message:
"The local policy of this system does not allow you to logon interactively".
Are there any attributes or objectclass settings that must be set for the user to allow interactive logons?

This has nothing to do with JNDI, the object class or attributes.
I assume that you are trying to logon locally to the domain controller with the new user that you have just created.
By default, the domain controller's policy only allows specific users or members of a group to logon locally at the domain domain controller's console.
Either edit the domain controller'sgroup policy and add your newly created user to the list of users permitted to logon locally, or add the user to a group which has already been granted permission to logon locally.

Saving the password of a user in active directory using java

Hello, i am trying to use java to build a class that creates a user in Active directory 2012.But the problem is that when the user is created the password is not being saved.
Can anybody help on this knowing that i tried to save in the fields userPassword and unicodePwd.
