User Task only in default Domain?

Hello,
I have a problem with the user task.
Can one call a user task only on the default domain? I have provided a new domain where the BPEL processes are deployed. I do not use the default domain. I have a BPEL process which contain a user task. First I could not open this process at all. After I have stored the files TaskActionHandler and TaskManager in the list of the new domain, I could at least call the process. I have adapted the partnerLink in new wsdl file. But he sends the news of the Oracle BPEL Worklist, nevertheless, always to the TaskActionHandler of the default domain.
Can I change the path anyhow or can one use the user task only in the default domain?
Greeting Cathleen

Hello,
the problem is the Oracle BPEL worklist.
If I deploy the UserTask in the new domain, I can call the process. The data are also sent to the Worklist and I can change them there. However, if I then on task action: Accept goes and it sends away it is sent either in the TaskActionHandler of the default domain, or it nowhere depends.
Can one say of the Worklist anyhow to whom it the answer should send?
Greeting Cathleen

• Default Domain profiles for different OUs / departments - GPO ?

Hi,
i know there is only one default domain user profile possible.
We are using Windows 2012 R2 and Windows 7/ 8.1 Clients.
We would like to delegate a few OUs.
How is the best way to handle delegation and different profiles ?
Should we create only one default domain user profile without any sofware installed ?
Next we save this profile in Netlogon ?
And each department / different OU admin deploy his software ?
Is it possible to control where will be use the default user profile ?
Maybe by security filtering ?
Is this the right way ?
Thank you very much & best regards
Andi

Hi Andi,
Based on your description, did you mean that want to set default domain user profile? From Darrell Gorter’s
description in
this thread, this option seems to be unsupported and known it have issues.

• I want to open a domain.site2 file outside the default folder (User/Library/Application Support/iWeb) with iWeb11, but iWeb only opens the domain file in the default folder. If I delete the default domain file, iWeb wants to create a new site. Help please

I want to open a domain.site2 file outside the default folder (User/Library/Application Support/iWeb) with iWeb11, but iWeb only opens the domain file in the default folder. If I delete the default domain file, iWeb wants to create a new site. Does anyone have the same problem or know how to fix it?

In Lion the Finder folder is now invisible. To make it permanetely visible enter the following in the Terminal applicaiton window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
For opening your domain file in Lion for the first time or to switch between multiple domain files Cyclosaurus has provided us with the following script that you can make into an Applescript application with Script Editor. Open Script Editor, copy and paste the script below into Script Editor's window and save as an applicaiton.
Just launch the applicaiton, find and select the domain file you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.
do shell script "/usr/bin/defaults write com.apple.iWeb iWebDefaultsDocumentPath -boolean no"delay 1
tell application "iWeb" to activate

• How to alow non-default domain users to set share folders.

From Messanger Express, users who are in non-default domains cannot set any share folders, and only get an error message "You do not have permission for setting permission". However, Users in default domain can do it without any problem in same server[iMs5.2].
Is there any specific permission to allow non-default domain users to do it ?
If yes, how to give this permission to these users ?
Thanks & regards,

In deed it is fix in the GA.Another way to set the alias table is to do it in the Admin client. If you add a connexion to a user there is a new 6.5 button "set alias" that allow you to set the default alias table for this specific user. But, it does not exit on a user group level.

• Domain Users are allowed by default to join domain

Hi everyone !
Recently i install Windows Server 2012 Standard
Configure Active Directory Domain Services
Create simple user "test1"
then i go to windows 7 client and join domain with this "test1" user.
and i shocked how is it possible that a simple domain user which is not a part of any domain admin or admin group and can join or rejoin domain successfully.
Help me to get out of this how can i restrict simple domain user to join domain and why it was by default ?

> then i go to windows 7 client and join domain with this "test1" user.
By default, EVERY user can join up to 10 clients to the domain.
> and i shocked how is it possible that a simple domain user which is not
Why shocked? What's the issue when users join computers to the domain?
> Help me to get out of this how can i restrict simple domain user to join
> domain and why it was by default ?
Create a GPO, link it to the domain, move it up to above "Default Domain
Policy" and configure Computer - Policies - Windows Settings - Security
Settings - Local Settings - User Rights Assignment: Add Workstations to
the domain.

• Only 1 Virtual domain per user in Cisco Prime Infrastructure ?

Hello,
I wanted to add several Virtual Domains in Cisco Prime Infrastructure 1.3 (the UI allows it). But then I observe that the user can only see the first Virtual Domain (the first par alphabetical order).
Is it normal (by design), or is it a bug, or is there something that understand wrong ?
Many thanks in advance,
Best regards,
David

A user can have multiple virtual domain assigned , but only one is active at login.
Anyway the user can change the current virtual domain using the virtual domain drop-down list at the right top of the page.

• * Can We Send Email Notifications Only using User Task in Oracle BPM ?? *

Hi All,
Can we send any email notification to initiator, only from Oracle BPM User / Human task without using any notification activity.
Is it possible to send email notifications using BPM User task alone.
Any Help appreciated.
Regards
Satya

Hi Satya,
To send an email to the person who initiated the work item instance in the process when the instance reaches a human task:
1. Ensure that the id of person who initiated the instance is stored in the process predefined variable called "creator".
2. In the Interactive activity's input data mapping, map this "creator" process predefined variable to the corresponding "creator" attribute in the human task's execData.
3. Open the human task -> click the "Notification" tab -> click the "+" icon in the upper right -> on the new row added to the bottom of the list, leave the task status dropdown set to "Assign" and change the recipent (the middle column) to "Initiator".

• An error occurred while building the default domain - New version of error

I have installed JDeveloper Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.2.0. I used an temporary Admin account on the machine to install (organization security does not allow normal users to have admin accounts) and it runs perfectly well under that account.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Can you try the following steps and let us know if it works?
1. Create a folder in your c: drive (say c:\myjdevhome)
2. Invoke the command prompt, set JDEV_USER_HOME=c:\myjdevhome
3. cd to JDEV_HOME\jdeveloper\jdev\bin
4. Start the jdev (jdev.exe).
5. Run/Debug your application.

• How to create attachments in User Tasks in 10.1.3.1?

Hi all!
I didn't find any info on how to create an attachment for User Task in Worklist application which comes by default with SOA Suite 10.1.3.1 DP (http://host:port/integration/worklistapp/). In previous releases (for ex. 10.1.2.0.2) it was possible through the special form. But in 10.1.3.1 I can see only task history there.
So is this feature supported and how to set up it?
Thanks in advance!

• To retieve tasks when user tasks are created using Jdeveloper BPELDesigner

I am trying to get the list of tasks which are created using Jdeveloper BPel designer.
I have used the following code :
Locator loc = new Locator("default","bpel");
IWorklistService taskService = (IWorklistService)loc.lookupService(IWorklistService.SERVICE_NAME);
ITask[] tasks = taskService.listTasksByAssignee("rekha");
if(tasks!=null){
for (int j = 0; j < tasks.length; j++) {
ITask thisTask = tasks[j];
out.println("Task Title " + thisTask.getTitle() +"Assignee:"+thisTask.getAssignee()+"$$$$"+"\n");
but its not returning any tests.
But the same code works for the tasks which are created through sample bpel processes which are provided by oracle which uses TaskManager service.
But the Jdeveloper bpel designer user task creates service which is TaskActionHandler..
please help me how can I get the List of tasks for a particular user for this problem
Please help me ............

There is sample code that is supposed to do this here: http://www.codeguru.com/cpp/sample_chapter/article.php/c10789__12/
I have tried using the login-style task retrieval with the oracle.tip.pc packages - this works logging in as, for example, fkafka.
Working Code:
IWorklistContext ctx = wlSvc.authenticateUser("fkafka", "welcome");
Map filterMap = new HashMap();
filterMap.put(IWorklistService.FILTER_TYPE_TASK_FILTER,
IWorklistService.TASK_FILTER_MY);
filterMap.put(IWorklistService.FILTER_TYPE_STATUS_FILTER, IWorklistService.STATUS_FILTER_ASSIGNED);
String keywords = "";
java.util.List tasks = wlSvc.getWorklistTasks(ctx, keywords, filterMap, IWorklistService.SORT_FIELD_TASK_TITLE, IWorklistService.SORT_ORDER_ASCENDING);
Using the sample code and retrieving tasks with
ITask[] tasks = worklist.listTasksByAssignee("fkafka");
returns nothing, however.
(<h1><%= tasks.length %> tasks waiting for approval</h1>
Prints: ' 0 tasks...' )
I notice that the JDeveloper generated JSPs use the oracle.tip.pc packages - seeing as I'm deploying to the same BPEL server I guess I don't need to worry about the other methods of access (i.e. remote) so hopefully I can manage my workflow app with the oracle.tip.pc packages only.

• How to avoid applying Default domain policy?

Hello! Hope to get some ideas on the following:
I have one PC that I DO NOT want to apply default domain policy to. I have created a separate OU in AD with one security group, that contains only that one PC.
I made sure that pc is a member of only that group and not domain computers or any other groups.
I have created a separate GPO for this PC and linked in to the domain.
I am seeing in the gpresult /r that both the new GPO is applied to the workstation and the default domain gp as well.
Default domain policy is designed to be applied to all authenticated users.
I have create a separate user for that workstation that is not a member of authenticated users.It is only a member of domain users.
Ultimately I want default domain policy to be filtered out and the gpo specific to this pc to be applied.
Any ideas?

You cannot exclude any computer or user from being an authenticated user...
> Ultimately I want default domain policy to be filtered out and the gpo
> specific to this pc to be applied.
Then simply block inheritance on the OU this computer lives in, and link
the specific GPO to that OU.

• Block Inheritance and Default Domain Policy

Hello to all, I will run a cross-forest migration and target forest has a Default Domain Policy. Target domain is Windows 2003 Functional Level, but has almost all DCs on Windows 2008. As first level OUs represents country codes (USA, GBR, FRA,
etc) and a new country will be created I want to block GPOs from Domain level. The task itself is very easy, just configure "Block Inheritance" on the new country OU. Important: Default Domain Policy is >> not set << to "Enforce"
on target domain.
Question: the security configurations (account, password, local policies) from Default Domain Policy will be blocked? If yes, how domain users below this new country OU will have basic configurations for them (password complexity, password length,
certificates, etc) ?
Regards, EEOC.

The Domain security policy for passwords etc, is domain-wide, and cannot be blocked.
It applies to, and is controlled by, the Domain Controllers.

Sunny,
I figured out the problem... Wrong configurations. See what I did:
a) Reviewed the explanation below about the paramater certifierOU of Lotus Notes ITRes, so I set it to empty.
certifierOU Specifies the OU of the certifier to be used when creating user accounts If you use a certifier on the target system, then you must specify the certifier OU value. If
you do not have a certifier on the target system, then leave this parameter field empty.
If there are multiple certifiers on the target system, then you must create one IT resource (of the Lotus Notes IT resource type) for each certifier. Refer to Oracle Identity Manager
Design Console Guide for information about creating IT resources. If you specify a value for the certifierOU parameter, then the user OU value that you specify on the process form is ignored during the creation of a DN for a new user account.
If you do not specify a value for the certifierOU parameter, then the user OU value that you specify on the process form is used in the DN. This feature ensures that only one OU value
is included in the DN.
If you specify a value for the certifierOU IT resource parameter, then user records for which the certifier OU value in the DN does not match the certifierOU parameter value are not
reconciled. This is because the user DN is used to match records in the target system and Oracle Identity Manager, and a difference in the certifier OU value would lead to a
mismatch in DN values. The following example illustrates this type of scenario:
Suppose a user account on Lotus Notes has the following DN:
CN=John Doe/OU=testcertou/O=test/C=US
If testcertou has not been assigned as the value of the certifierOU parameter for any of the IT resources created on this Oracle Identity Manager installation, then the records of this
user cannot be reconciled into Oracle Identity Manager.
Sample value: NY
b) The MailServer paramater was win2k3base/oimdev and I've changed it to CN=win2k3base/O=oimdev.
c) As the certifierOU is clear now, so I have to inform the Orgnation Unit field in the process form.
Thanks.

• Unable to edit Default Domain policy on Server 2012 R2 domain controller

Hello,
I recently built a Server 2012 R2 domain controller and added it to my domain. When trying to edit the default domain policy I get the following error:
I can make edits to other GPO objects. All the other domain controllers are Server 2008 and are able to edit that GPO. The issue is on the Server 2012 box only. I've checked the delegated permissions, I'm a domain admin, and have opened
GPMC as administrator. Does anyone know what I'm missing? Thank you for your time.
Tino

Hi Tino,
>>Could that be the problem?
I don't think so, for we can still use FRS to replicate Sysvol. However, it is recommended that we use DFSR to replicate Sysvol if our domain
function level is Windows Server 2008 or above.
Besides, we can follow the suggestions from the following thread to check out which replication mechanism we are using.
DFS-R on 2008 R2 by default?
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsserver/en-US/8f2042d3-193d-4414-b9da-cbcedc6a4c32/dfsr-on-2008-r2-by-default?forum=winserverDS
If the Sysvol is replicated by FRS mechanism, as I suggested in the last reply, we can do a non-authoritative restore for the Sysvol on the new Windows
Server 2012. This will restore the Sysvol from a healthy DC.
To perform a nonauthoritative restore, stop the FRS service, configure the BurFlags registry key, and then restart the FRS service. To do so:
1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type cmd and then press ENTER.
3. In the Command box, type net stop ntfrs.
4. Click Start, and then click Run.
5. In the Open box, type regedit and then press ENTER.
6. Locate the following subkey in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\NtFrs\Parameters\Backup/Restore\Process at Startup
7. In the right pane, double-click BurFlags.
8. In the Edit DWORD Value dialog box, type D2 and then click OK.
9. Quit Registry Editor, and then switch to the Command box.
10. In the Command box, type net start ntfrs.
11. Quit the Command box.
