Username changed - icloud does not recognize it..

I have changed my username and now I cannot synchro my iCloud and I cannot find where to change it, both on my iPad and on my mac, can anybody help me ?

On your Mac you go to System Preferences>iCloud, sign out, then sign back in with the ID you want to use.  On your iPad, go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password when prompted (if using iOS 7), then sign back in with the new ID.  Note: if you have any photo stream photos that you want to save on your iPad, save them to the camera roll before deleting the account.

  • Changed my Apple ID email, but ICloud does not recognize my new login, only my old one (which is now non-existent) HELP!

Changed my Apple ID email, but ICloud does not recognize my new login, only my old one (which is now non-existent) and requires the password to do anything. Everytime I go onto the ICloud  page it shows my old email and requires the password, but I can't exactly type in a password because that won't work. I can't find a way to change my email or delete ICloud.

If the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, do the following:
Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID.  If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.)  Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID).  Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device).

  • HT204053 I just changed my  Apple Password and icloud does not recognize the password.

I just changed my  Apple Password and icloud does not recognize the password.

To change it on your iPhone you have go to Settings>iCloud and delete the account, then set it up again with your new credentials.  When you delete the account from your phone it will delete any data you are syncing with iCloud (such as contacts and calendars) from your phone but it will remain in iCloud.  Provided your are signing back into your existing account and not changing to a new account, it will be synced back to your phone when you sign back in.

  • ICloud does not recognize iwork.

Hello guys, I have a broblem.
I have iwork 9', but iCloud does not recognize it. When I go to iCloud, it offers me to buy keynote, pages and numbers..., any ideas?
I can send my files to iwork.com (beta), but can not send it on iCloud.
    What am I doing wrong?
    Tnx

Did you change the assigned email address of your account before you tried to change it on the iPad? If yes then you would have to change the ID back to the old email address, then sign out, then change it back to the new address and then sign in again.

  • TS3899 Why do I keep getting emails downloaded over and over again. It seems that iCloud does not recognize when the emails have already been downloaded to my iPad.

Why do I keep getting mails from iCloud over and over again? It seems that iCloud does not recognize that the emails were previously downloaded.

Does the iPhone NOT tell iTunes if you've played a track or not?
Yes, but the entire track must be listened to - until the track ends.
A song is not marked as played until the song has completed and the iPod starts playing the next song. The song must be played until the very end, and the same with a podcast.

  • ICloud does not recognize outlook 2010

Win 7 64bit. Outlook 2010.  Open iCloud control and all items refering to Outlook are not selectable.  What have I missed? The [email protected] was added to Outlook.  Can receive and send mail.  Unable to sync calendars/task, contacts or mail.
    Thank you.

    Greetings.
I am using the 32-bit version of Outlook 2010 on my Win7 64-bit system. I had no problems with MobileMe and I thought (that is what I get for thinking) the migration would be somewhat painless.  Not the case.  I see the adin for iCloud in Outlook and it is enabled, however, iCloud does not see Outlook 2010.  Trying to follow HELP at Apple, is like a dog chasing it's tail.  Round and round with no answers.

  • ICloud does not recognize IE 9 or 10

I am trying to sync my bookmarks with IE 10.  The iCloud control panel does not seem to recognize that IE is installed.  It works with Chrome and Firefox OK, but not IE.  I have tried downgrading to IE 9 and it still doesn't see it.
    Thoughts?

iCloud must be initially set up from an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Mac. An iCloud account cannot be created from a PC.

  • Keep getting prompts re: iCloud does not recognize my address. Any ideas?

Recently the system would not recognized my apple ID/password, so I simply clicked on "forgot" and reset it.  Weird, but it happened.  Now everything works fine, except I keep getting prompts from Contacts, Mail and iCloud informing me that iCloud doesn't recognize my ID (email) or it just can't connect.  Wonder what this is all about?  Everything works, but these prompts are driving me nuts!

Try going to System Preferences>iCloud, click Sign Out, choose Delete at all of the prompts, restart your Mac, then go back and sign back in.  See if that stops the prompts for your password.
(This deletes the account and iCloud data from your Mac, but not from iCloud.  Your data will download back to your Mac when you sign back in.)

  • Changed apple id and icloud does not recognize it

    Any ideas here?  Many thanks.

Did you log out of the old icloud account before trying to log into the new one?
    On mac,  system preferences>icloud>sign out.

  • ICloud does not recognize my password or DOB

My iCloud was set up with my mother's email address but she then bought an iPhone and her apple id is now linked to her email address. Consequently my iCloud will no longer recognize my password and if I try to change it, it won't recognize my DOB.
I am running IOS8.1 on and iPhone 4s, any help would be appreciated even to factory set the phone would be ok

This won't be an exact answer, but I had the exact same problem, including Apple stating I did not know my own DOB! I had to go through Apple Support, but I finally got it all straightened out. However, it took a number of emails and quite a few phone calls between Apple Support and myself. I thought that everyone tried to be helpful, but nothing that was suggested worked at first. Finally someone at Apple Support figured it out. Good luck.

  • I dropped my iphone, it cracked (it alredy had some cracks in it) and the screen is black but sometimes has a background light.. When i plug it in to charge or to the computer it vibrates every 10 seconds and itunes does not recognize it. What can I do?

I dropped my iphone 4 pretty hard, it cracked (although it already had a few cracks in it) and now the screen is black but sometimes has a background light turn on and then off. Holding the home button and off button at the same time do not work. When I plug it in to charge or to the computer it vibrates every 10 seconds and itunes does not seem to recognize it. It gets really really hot when plugged in (which I don't think is normal).  icloud does not recognize it under "find my iphone" either. What could the problem be? I am wondering if dropping it dislodged something inside. if so, what did I dislodge and is it possible to fix this myself?
    Thanks

Sounds like that drop was a critical one, my friend. I would make an appointment at your nearest Apple Retail Store, because you're going to need a replacement. Also as a side note: the reason that the charger is making the phone vibrate over and over is because there is a disconnect somewhere in the charge port of the phone, causing it to plug in and out over and over.

I changed my apple id email address and now my iphone 5s does not recognize it for icloud. It keeps asking for the old email address apple id.
