Usernameand password not remembering not allowing other users to be remembered

when using farmville when i try to log on with my user & password in auto mode it comes up blank then only way i can log in is to manualy and if i go to another farm then go back to mine i have to redo my user & pass agin it will not let mine be rembered i do not get the rember this also if changing farms the rember part is blank tryed same program on internet exp and it works ok all rembered users are there and can use rember this thank you for any help

Have you looked at the [[Username and password not remembered]] Knowledge Base article? There is a lot of good information in there.
If it's only a particular site you are having issues with, you can also remove the cookies from that site to make the site forget you if you've created a remember me cookie by going to ''Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies" '' There might be a "do not remember" cookie for that site.

I also have problems with Facebook on my iPad 2. I don't do a lot with Facebook and generally only post on my feed page. Sometimes hitting return on the keyboard enters the comment, sometimes not. Sometimes the comment will show on my iPad but if I revisit that page I find that the comment has disappeared. So I'd say that Facebook and my iPad are not totally compatible with each other.
I looked into Friendly and was about to purchase this free ap. But before I did I went to the Friendly web page for more info. There I found a page with users comments. One after another users complained about bugs with Friendly. The developers claimed a fix was coming but the user comments complained about the lack of response and support. One of the fixes suggested by the developers was to log out of Friendly then log back in. One user complained that doing this three times in ten minutes was not very helpful. Because of this I decided to avoid Friendly.
I did find a Facebook developed ap but it was for the iPhone. I presume that iPhone aps will work on the iPad but I'll wait until Facebook releases an iPad compatible ap. If there is an ap developed by Facebook for the iPad that I missed please let me know.

Can I back up my iCloud data to only 1 user on my mac, & not the other users? I have 3 different users on 1 mac, & I don't want all of my icloud info & photos available to all users.

Each user account on a mac has their own logins for itunes store and for icloud accounts. Now, all three users can use the same icloud account in their mac account, but that is generally not recommended. They should each use a different icloud account. For example, user "me" on mac can set up an icloud account in System Preferences>icloud to, say, [email protected] and user "you", in their mac account can set up icloud using, say, [email protected] in their icloud setting.
I suspect you don't mean "backup my iCloud data to only 1 user on my mac" since you can't back up icloud to a mac (nor can your backup a mac to icloud). Do you really mean sync?

Share and edit notes with other users

Can I share and edit notes with other users in a standard app, e.g. notes, the same way I share my calender?

Sharing of notes will require you to also share contacts, calendars and reminders (in other words, you will be sharing all data).
For a "shopping list", I would recommend you share a reminders list. It is similar to sharing a calendar, but it would keep your contacts and other data separate. Just my opinion.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions.
If you want others to be able to see the pics, but not add to, change or alter your library, then enable Sharing in your iPhoto (Preferences -> Sharing), leave iPhoto running and use Fast User Switching to open the other account(s). In the other account(s), enable 'Look For Shared Libraries'. Your Library will appear in their source pane.
Remember iPhoto must be running in both accounts for this to work.

When I originally installed Parallels 8 I did not allow access to Windows to other users on my iMac. I am now upgrading to Parallels 9 and want to enable another user on my computer to access my Windows programs. Will I be prompted to allow other users when I install the Parallels 9 upgrade or will I have to go into Parallels 9 later to allow this. If I have to go in later, how do i do it.

Just assign the saem roles as the other user who can view ..
You can inform the Auth/basis team and they shud be able to do this..
The T Code is RSECADMIN>user Tab>Assignment>user.Display and BView the roles here..
or goto SU01 and check for the Roles Tab.....
The New user must have the same roles as that of the other..

WHY FREE ITUNES PRODUCTS ARE AVAILABLE ONLY FOR USA AND NOT FOR OTHER USERS OUTSIDE USA

I am so impressed wit the welcome page saying "Join the conversation. Share tips and solutions with fellow Apple product users from all around the world."
Apple mentioned for their products users around the world but many of their free itunes products are available only for USA and not for the users from the other side of the globe?
Is this Apple a fair and customer oriented company or full of bias and Only money oriented company.
If apple could not make thier other FREE stuffs available outside US territory then better for thsi company to just sell their products in USA. its just so disgusting... If we need a certain apps (FREE APPS) available only for US based users.

Fix for XP Home Edition not allowing multiple users to access iTunes

When I upgraded to iTunes 7.6 only one user could run iTunes, all other users got a Fatal Error after windows attempted to configure the program. Below is a link to the fix. I didn't have any problems in prior releases. Looks like it is related to the different users rights to the C:/program files directory.

How do I allow other users limited access to iPhoto?

I am seeking to create other user accounts for my Mac that will allow my wife and my 8 year old to view photos in iPhoto but will not allow them to screw it up (i.e., will not allow them to edit or delete any photos, etc.). Is there a way that I can give them access to view only? Thanks.

When you share a Photo Stream and invite a family member to view it, the family member will see the photo stream in the iPhoto Library, in the iCloud section: It will look like regular albums.

Is it possible to allow another user to modify my User Portal without making them a full Admin?
Out HR Dept. would like a tab for their content and would like to edit it themselves.
I'm not keen as they would probably hose the entire site.
Any ideas if this can done?

Hi - I believe the issue is related to java versions. I experienced the exact same problem, and the issue was removed.
Several small issues in Java Report Panel with unintended behavior is very often related to too old java versions.

SolMan 4.0 SR2 Step 30 Password Not Allowed Error Changing DDIC Pwd

I'm on Step 30 of my SOLMAN install. SAPInst is trying to change the DDIC.000 password and gets the error, "PASSWORD_NOT_ALLOWED". DDIC can connect to the RFC just fine. I went in through the client and changed DDIC and SAP* passwords back to the default numeric values.
I did notice that in sapinst_dev.log there were these lines ...

where it looks like the DDIC passwords are being set to "". I know that when you log in, a blank pwd isn't allowed. Does this setting make it revert to the std numeric one or is it telling me that a blank pwd isn't allowed? Is there a way to change this?

Hi Ruchit,
I never set or entered a password for DDIC, but I did logon as sap* and change it to the default, 19920706. This allowed me to get past a previous step in the installation.
No, DDIC is not locked. It is able to connect but it seems like the password that it wants to change to isn't right. Is it trying to change it to "PASS"? The logon client demands at least 6 characters.
