Users Can not Access Folders in Hyperion Workspace 11.1.2.2

Hi,
I have created a user "User A" with Shared Services URL with admin ID. I have given all view access to that user.
When User A Log In in Hyperion Workspace, he is not able to see any folders even though I have given full access for that folders to User A.
Please help me what role I have to give User A where he may be able to see his folder where he has access to it.

Can you make sure that he is not a part of a group which has access to the folders.
I don't think he'll be able to view the files inside if he is not having the access to view the files.
Just see whether he can check any files in those folders.
You can restrict the access to other folders by giving a none permission to the users. I would'nt do that if he is not having access to the files inside.

I created a user weblogic_admin to be an administrator for WebCenter (as per the install instructions).The weblogic_admin user can log onto WebCenter as an administrator. You probably need to check the securityrealm inside of WebLogic and see how your authenticators are set up and what order they are in. You may also need to use the Webcenter configuration to add weblogic as an AUTHORIZED user to get into your Spaces.
Most likely, your WebCenter/WebLogic is configured not to allow people to log in as weblogic (which is a good thing, by the way).

Groups and users are not showing up in Hyperion workspace

I am having problem with the workspace when trying to give access to reports.Problem is its not showing up groups and users in workspace.But when i tried logging to shared services its showing up all the groups and users.Its trying to communicate with native directory but not with the openldap.
Please help me.

IPhone user, Can Not Access iTunes Store, Using Windows 7

Dear Sir
I used to access the iTune Store from my computer everyday. But since a couple of weeks I started receiving the following (Connecting to the iTune Store) message after clicking on the Store link in iTunes.

It just stays there loading forever.
But I can access the store normally using my iPhone and using other laptops over the same network.
What can the reason be? I am using the latest versions of iTunes and iPhone on Windows 7.
I have tried the iTunes built-in connectivity test and it passed all the tests, I have tried re-installing iTunes, And I have also checked support article (TS1470) and I already have the mentioned options enabled.

With that one, try launching iTunes. Go "Edit > Preferences" and select the "Parental control" tab.
Is "Disable iTunes Store" checked? If so, try unchecking that and clicking OK.

My windows user can not access the lion server.

All Mac user is ok.but all of windows user link fail.

I have been on the phone with Apple, done all of the trouble shooting they have recomended. When I attempt to connect it to the internet I get a message reading "your apple tv is connected to your wi-fi but cannot connect to the internet. I have plugged the modem right into the apple tv and it still won't work. This is the second device I've used. (apple gave me a new one after the first didn't work). I just thought there might be someone out there who had the same issue and knows how to resolve it.

Hello, I am following the OBE for External Authentication Pluggin Configuration, and The guide said i should go url:

I changed according the host and domain for the infrastructure server, but when I try the resul is CONNECTION REFUSED. How I know if this port is the one listening for thsi page in my configuration?
I did also:
$ORACLE_HOME/oca/bin/ocactl start
and the result was OK.
Somebody know why I can not access thhis URL?

Did you verify that OCA is running on port 4400? Check your $OH/install/portlist.ini file for details.

I can not access any more shared folders on windows 7 other pc on my homegroup

Hello every one.
I had my home group network working fine over wi-fi connection, (laptop with win 8.1 and laptop with win7) till few days ago I had to format and re install the win 8.1 using recovery disk from toshiba. Since then, although I have setup again the home
group as it was before, I can access the shared folders on win8.1 from win 7 but not the other way around. So when I try to access the shared folders on win 7, on my win 8.1 I receive the message: WINDOWS CAN NOT ACCESS \\WIN 7\\SHARED FOLDER.
Notice that when I open the network folder on win 8.1, my win 7 pc is visible, I click on it, I can see all my shared folders and the above message appears when I click on them.
Apparently some settings have changed on laptop win 8.1
Any help would be very much appreciated.

You've merely inadvertently hidden it.
Hiding/unhiding panels and modules is a little known feature of Lightroom which seems to put the fear of God into unsuspecting newbies who are not aware of the feature.
Right-click (CTRL Click on Mac) on the Module names and restore the check mark to Library.

Dont know if this is a new occurrence or very many details but try changing "permissions".
Navigate to the following folder: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom
Highlight the Lightroom folder and chose File > Get Information
Under Sharing & Permission, verify that your have Read & Write Privileges. If not, click the padlock icon at the lower right, enter your password when prompted, then click the Read only entry and select Read & Write.

My new users can not upload files via browse

When my recent created users can not download files via the browse within the Internet interface.
When I hit the via browse I face the following:
500 Internal Server Error
oracle.ifs.common.IfsException: IFS-10406: Invalid AttributeValue conversion (DIRECTORYOBJECT to Java DirectoryObject)
oracle.ifs.common.IfsException: IFS-10200: Unable to access object (insufficient privileges)

These are the ACL's of IFS:
PRIVATE Grants no permissions to any other user. Other users cannot view, modify, or delete a user’s document in any way, unless changed by the owner.
PROTECTED For folders only. Enables other users to see the files in the folder, add documents and folders to the folder, and remove documents and folders they have created from the folder, but are not allowed to delete the folder itself.
PUBLIC Allows full access to the item. All users can make any changes that the owner can make.
PUBLISHED Allows other users to view the contents, but they are not allowed to modify or delete the document.
If you attach the ACL Public it must work!

You are on Windows 2000, you do not have a "Firefox" button, and should consider yourself to be fortunate in that you still have menus and don't have to do anything to get the menus back instead of the "Firefox" button. (The same applies to Windows XP users).
Use the "File" menu to get to Import. You are not on Windows 7 or Vista, and don't have to put up with the nonsense added for Aero.
If you want the "Firefox" button you can get it with View -> toolbars -> (uncheck) Menu Bar. The menu bar and the "Firefox" button were supposed to be mutually exclusive (which is impossible in some cases without being incompatible).
Once you are using the "Firefox" button ...
Use the "Alt" key to view the menu bar (temporarily) containing File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, and Help. On Windows 7 and Vista, the menu bar was hidden by default in Firefox 4 and above. These menu items are more or less available under the "Firefox" button which has the most used of the built-in Firefox menu items available in a different format.
To get back to having menus again. "Firefox" button -> Options (second column) -> (check) Menu Bar

You can have two separate libraries, just do not put them into the same location on the computer. You could also create a new user on the laptop, you, and then you would start out with a blank iTunes library, then just add yours to that. It would also prevent you and your girlfriend from mixing content up unless you share an Apple ID.
